Grounded. Those had been the words her mother had screamed upon learning of Zero’s exploits in Iceland. Something along the lines of her decision to participate in a war being beyond stupid and ridiculously reckless that the only way to ensure she didn’t do something like that again was to restrict where she could go. Thus, poor Zero was confined to the city, unable to participate in the Vanguard’s other escapades. On top of that, she was unable to visit her friends and so, it had been months since she had laid eyes on Goliath and Mr. Shark.
However, during Christmas her parents had decided that her punishment had gone on long enough and with a promise to be careful - she was going to take special care to ensure they didn’t find out - her punishment was lifted. Of course, the first thing the red-eyed teen did was visit the forest of Karakura the very next day. Her visit was partly out of the need to check up on the shark and partly because she wouldn’t know where to start looking for Goliath. So, after packing some essential snacks - she remembered the Shark only had meat - she took off.
It’s around noon when she arrives before the only home located within the forest. She takes a moment to adjust her scarf before approaching the door. And, like any normal person, Zero knocks three times before standing back and shouting:
“Mr. Shark.”

Tired.
That was the feeling which resonated throughout the bones, muscles and embodiment that was The Nuclear Giant known as Radioactive. The year had been a tiring one, so why not retread to the woods in order to find some solace of rest? Even if he was a savage at heart, that didn't mean that he did not require his own downtime. Therefore, he found himself lost in a dream with many warm and familiar memories. Envisioning lost family, lost friends and the warmth of a whole unit. It seemed these visions grew further and further immense as he retreated to his nostalgic home. It always reminded him of better times; despite how bleak and empty most of the future seems.
With one final imprint of Chinchuro (wife), Ella (Daughter) and Razor (son); the dream concluded and he was awoken by the sounds of a familiar voice screaming outside his house door. Now, as he looked out the dirtied and broken window of his rotted bedroom, Radioactive really didn't feel the urge to attack this guest for disturbing his slumber. Sure, he was initially agitated when he first woke up and his face curled up into a scowl, but it soon gave wave to a neutral expression when the spiritual energy emitting from this person turned out to be Toki.
There was a definite soft spot for her since she was a part of the Vanguard and he had sought to find a family within them. So parts of himself had otherwise valued her like an adopted daughter to fill the abyss in his own heart left by the family he had lost. It was good to have something to invest himself into and it helped to give a bit of purpose to this gruff bastard's existence for the time being. So, he'd pull his seven foot eleven ass out of bed, put on his iron black jeans and make his way downstairs to great this girl -- with a light tapping of the head.
Oh yes. Zero would have the door opened for her, but she'd get a tap to the head as Radioactive rose a questionable eyebrow at Zero. She still woke him out of his slumber and there was a slight price to pay for that! Though, once that was out of the way, he'd tilt his head to the side and give her a reply back:
"Welcome back, Ms.Runt."
There would then be a gruff chuckle heard from his shark-toothed mouth before he motioned for her to come inside and follow.
"Well, are you just gonna stand there taking up space? You've come this far, may as well come on in and bring me up to speed on why you've been a ghost."

"You deserved to be bonk'd on the head as you are always up to something."
This tone wasn't uttered with malicious, but instead, it was met with an infliction of amusement behind the way his voice was projected. Mr.Golden Locks over there was seen cracking a shark toothed grin because of the fact he KNEW her and KNEW she must have done some kind of action to warrant it. However, he'd let it slide, flick his finger on her nose and follow those words up with this statement:
"Sniffles won't get you anywhere either. I've seen the reports about you; a little tap won't hurt you."
And there were oh-so-many reports on his daughter-from-another mother. Ones which rumored her taking out an entire forest of Iceland floor during that asinine mission. So she was no defenseless little maiden. Though, that was of little concern to him, truly. He just made sure she didn't get in trouble for partnering up with that Goliath Doll. Radioactive was aware from the surveillance at the time about her running off with the thing, but assumed it was either done to spy or it was harmless; as nothing came of it and he'd trust her not to get on his bad side. Granted, it was still something on his mind.
For now, our nuclear warrior needed to sit his tush down and he promptly threw his rock solid behind on a large black couch in the middle of living room. With each step he took, a creak in the wooden floor could be heard before a large "groan" uttered from the dusty couch when he dropped his mass body on it. If it weren't for the fact he could alter the heaviness or lightness of his mass with his spiritual energy, this whole piece of furniture probably would have broken by now.
Regardless, this place was always a mess and Radioactive just didn't seem to care enough to clean it. So, instead, he'd listen in and hear the reasons on why Toki had been MIA for so long. At least, not before grabbing the bag of goodies from her hand. He'd inspect them, give them a questionable look and feel concern for what the girl was eating. Was she stuffing herself on nothing but junk? It sounded like a gross state of affairs and one he might need to correct.
Alas, even though he was a brute, he wasn't impolite ALL of the time to those he actually cared about. Therefore, he'd reach in, take whatever sweet was in there and eat it down in one CHOMP in order to get through the ordeal of eating junk. It wasn't a fun time, but he wasn't going to turn down free food or gifts. Ergo, while he was feeling tortured in that moment, the golden eye of the male eventually came to a conclusion on what was going to happen between the two of them.
"Ok. You need your own house. I will get you one."
Well, wasn't he the one for sudden bombshells? With the most point-blank stare you can imagine, Radioactive didn't even blink or stutter about giving Toki her own place to call home. She couldn't live in this dump; as this miserable pile of nostalgia was his tomb to sulk in. So, he'd pull connections with Russia and find her an independent place to stay with his wealth and resources there or through the Vanguard. Mostly, he just couldn't stand meddling parents that wouldn't allow their own child to grow, become less dependent on them and learn about the world. So, to undermine their authority, he'd bypass it with his own assets and call it a day.
"Is there anything else you need?"
With one last gulp of fattening food, the sweets were devoured and then the male was seen staring off into space before coming back down and answering her question.
"Busy. Vanguard meetings, training grunts, fighting; the fun stuff that comes with representing a nation and an org. It keeps you focused, at least."
He didn't seem too interested in what he said since he was more curious to see her response to his question. SO, he'd follow it up and ask a follow-up inquiry:
"AND, you'd be fine with having your own house, right?"
