The time is currently 4:00 PM CST time on June 25, 2416.
The current participants will find themselves upon a grassy plain, nothing surrounding them but open air and short grass. Very few mountains can be seen in the distance. It is currently day time, the temperature is a nice 65 degrees F. It should be noted that one will never approach the mountains here; the realm being and endless plain.
And now, the battle may commence.

Henrex Astillon The Insane Raven Descend Into Darkness Artist: Adrian von Ziegler | Song: Reign Of The Dark | Word Count: 568 Round...two. It most certainly was a lot more...basic than the last one. Dropped into the arena once more, the pitch black wings that rested on the male's back would burst from the back of his shihakusho. The seal that forced the wings to a much smaller size, as to avoid impracticality, shattered under the amount of energy that was being pressured to release. His single pitch black eye stared at the arena around him, with his head turning gently to look at his surroundings. Basic, as said before, was a good word to use for something of this level of simplicity. It was a grassy plain, similar to his inner world. However, this was entirely flat, with much shorter grass. There were many mountains in the distance. Taking in a quiet breath, and releasing the air in a few short moments, his hand moved to his side, drawing his Zanpakutō. Exposing the icy cold blade to the air of the arena, Henrex closed his eye and sighed. Beginning to walk forward, the male would slowly turn his head to each side, hearing satisfying cracks each time. Reaching into his shihakusho, his hand came out empty. Rolling his shoulder and moving onward, he had one thought on his mind. I need another sword for my other hand. Feels a bit weird to have only one in my hand.... Looking at his empty hand, blinking twice, before stopping, his hand dropping back to his side. Flexing the fingers that wrapped around his Zanpakutō, the hand that had been at his side quickly moved up to his face, pulling down the scarf that was wrapped around his face. Yanking the cloth off, the battle-worn face of the male was revealed once more. With a quick bit of internal action, the male's spiritual pressure unloaded, sending two waves of it across the grass planes that was their arena. It wasn't as strong as others, but it was certainly on the higher level of power. A black and purple aura rose from his body, and a raven formed from the control of his spiritual pressure. Taking a deep breath, Henrex looked onward. If his opponent couldn't find him before, then the most likely could now. But now, while he waited, it was time to prepare. A flash of green occurred within his right, undamaged eye. The PhantomTech in him booted up, with just about every single add-on that he had activating. The Cyber Eye Model 2000 quickly did a scan in the ten mile radius it had of the single surrounding spiritual pressure. "I hope that I have more of a chance than last time.." The male muttered, before registering the spiritual pressure and sighing. It was someone...well, very strong. That would be a simple way to say it. With him being near the likes of Shadin Yuudeshi, or even some of the Captains in the Soul Society, Henrex knew that this was not going to be...an easy fight. So, with his wings spread, and his sword ready, the male would speak to his opponent. "I'm Henrex Astillon....your opponent. Whoever you are, nice to meet you...I guess. Let's get this started. He stated, using his spiritual pressure to amplify his voice. Whoever his opponent was, he hoped that this would be a good match. Hopefully not one-sided. Well, he wasn't one to assume. Time would move forward, as it always did. He just had to keep moving along with it. |

Henrex Astillon The Broken Raven Descend Into Darkness Artist: Death Note | Song: L's Theme | Word Count: 1009 The wind billowed gently around the shihakusho of Henrex, sending the ends of the cloth flowing into the wind. Eyes closed, he simply waited. As he did, he could feel a bit of a tingling rising in his heart. For some reason, he felt genuinely interested, and, dare he say it, excited about his opponent. His fingers gently danced along the hilt of his katana, the blade shining bright in the "afternoon" light. A slight twitch came from the shut eyes of the male, the sun ending up reaching them and the large amount of light forced at them causing a small bit of pain. As his mind drifted to the thoughts of another weapon in his hand, he soon remembered that he had quite the number of options at his disposal. His other hand, slowly reaching into his his shihakusho and gently tapping against the small package within that held a packet of needle weapons. The type he had chosen today? Ice. The cold steel entwined with his own icy skin, and his eyes slowly opened as he registered the spiritual pressure heading towards him. The aura of it felt familiar, but nothing really stood out....just yet. Taking his hand out of his shihakusho and returning it to his side, the male's eyes slowly opened, before widening. Why had the aura from the Vizard that had just entered been familiar? Well, it was because he had encountered the man before. The green haired Vizard, also known as King of the Monsuta, Stefan Soan. As his minds recalled the time that they had met, it was when he was attacking the Soul Society. He sighed and mentally cursed himself from his indecisiveness, but he knew that it was part of who he was. It was more of a curse than anything. But, then there came confusion. He had mentioned that he killed someone named "Tsubasa". The name sounded familiar, but he knew no one by the name of Tsubasa. His eyes narrowing, he began thinking back to everyone in the Gotei that he had met, knew, or read about. However, only brief mentions of the name came up. His eyes returned to normal, and he shrugged slightly. "Sorry, I don't...know anyone named Tsubasa. I've heard...mentions of the name, but I don't really know who you're talking about." Wait...proposal? Sliding a single foot backwards, and keeping the toes of the other foot pressed tightly against the ground, Henrex rose his sword in front of him vertically. Watching as the other swordsman drew his weapon, Henrex watched in awe as the weapon suddenly changed from a sword, to a steel baseball bat. But, even thought it had changed form, it would still hurt like hell if that thing hit him hard enough. Hearing the proposal from Stefan, it seemed easy enough. Just make him bleed? Even by the slightest drop? That didn't seem...too hard. Closing his eyes, and taking another deep breath, he soon rose his sword to his shoulder. As he opened his eyes, his hands found themselves tightening around the hilt of his Zanpakutō. Digging the top of his foot into the ground, his Cyberbrain started scanning his stance, his weapon, looking for anything he could use against him. For now, there seemed to be none. But, the objective was clear, and simple. "Sure. It shouldn't be too hard..." He said, flexing his fingers and readjusting the grip on his sword. Staring at the male's eyes, he scanned for any sort of sign. A sign of overconfidence, things like that. But, he could see nothing. So, it seemed that he was granting him the first attack. Swallowing nervously, he knew that he had to be careful, if he wanted to keep that strange thing at bay. The form that had released itself as per his demon side showing itself, after years of dormancy. That is what was causing a small bit of hesitation from him. "Long live the Niten Ichi Ryu." He muttered, before pushing himself towards Stefan, by kicking himself off the ground, before making a single, piercing strike forwards. Thrusting his sword at Stefan, aimed for a strike to his chest, Henrex quickly pulled out before the attack finished, and his body would vanish, and reappear behind him, performing the same attack, aiming to pierce his shoulder this time. After this, Henrex would hover a foot or so above the ground, using Flash Step again to get in front of him. Snapping his fingers, five orb-like objects would circle around his body, with three of them moving towards Stefan through mental control. Upon getting within striking distance, the orbs would convulse, sending off a single spike towards him, threatening to pierce his body if he did not move quick enough. The other two objects would continue circling and hovering around Henrex's body, before moving towards him and sending off energy blast akin to a Cero's power. Lowering to the ground, Henrex quickly reached into his shihakusho, pulling out a pitch black rune, holding it out and utilizing the effects of it immediately. Manipulating the moisture in the air, the male formed a large flurry of ice daggers from a portion of the moisture in the air. This item that he just used was something that he honestly wasn't entirely sure about using against him, but had yanked it out in the heat of the moment. Putting the rune object away, Henrex, instead of ending his attack there, decided that he would continue it by using one of his custom orders from the Cybermind. Pulling a small vial out from his shihakusho, the crimson red energy within swirled around. Opening the cap and taking control of the energy, Henrex shot it off in Stefan's direction, letting off another blast akin to a Cero. Tossing the now empty vial away, Henrex lowered to the ground, before returning the two handed grip on his sword. Hopefully, he made him bleed. If not, then he would just have to keep attacking. But, it was his turn now. After what he did, he was sure that he would receive a much more powerful response. |
