Whack-a-Hollow [Azuma]
Sat Dec 03, 2016 10:05 pm
”Down! Down! Down!”
Seemingly a bit frustrated, the petite Arrancar continued to scream out the words as she fired her Cero multiple times into the sands of Hueco Mundo. She had encountered a rather pesky Hollow earlier that day. It didn’t seem to be intent on eating her however. Instead, it seemed to had been born with the sole purpose of pissing her the hell off. It resembled what she could only described as a giant slug, easily ten times bigger than her. Then again, standing at 4’8” ft tall, she wasn’t much bigger than a lot of individuals in the realm.
The Hollow kept poking its peculiar head out the sand, taunting Lilynette with its smug stupid face, and even sticking its reptilian looking thin tongue out of her. Naturally, the anger it caused her led her to fire several of her Cero from nearly any location on her body. Despite her Cero Omnipresence ability however, the Hollow slug would sink into the sands, disappearing from view and safe from harm of her blasts, only to poke its head again, irritating it even further.
”Just go away!!!
Breathing heavily due to exertion, in part due to the barrage of Cero and also due to the recurrent screams, she seemed to hunch over some, panting and waiting for the beast to show up again. Strangely enough, it did not. It didn’t look as though the Hollow had been hit by her blast, but its signature had fled in a hurry, almost as if sensing something Lilynette had not been able to yet. But she would. Perhaps a second too late, but soon she would become aware of the spiritual presence that was too close to outrun at this point.
”What now? Fuckers won’t let me…”
With a string wind to her step, she would walk in haste towards the direction of the spiritual energy. If Starrk had been there, he would surely have had a few things to say. From the curse words not fitting of a lady, to trying to seek and taunt beings that were much stronger than her among other things. Something that anyone that met her would soon notice however was that Lilynette did not take orders, and she behaved how she wanted when she wanted. Certain individuals did make getting away with things a bit more difficult, but it never stopped her from trying.

THE LIGHT WITHIN THE SHADOWS
Artist: Undertale OST - Song: Your Best Friend - Word Count: 914
Hueco mundo, a place in which the sky perpetually is offset by the moon, and where the darkness was eternal. It was the homeland of hollows, the place that souls came when they turned into these voracious beasts. Beasts which neither slept nor did they feel emotion. They merely gorged themselves endlessly. In the midst of this endless expanse there was a dead-spot. A place in which hollows simply would not go. In the midst there was a girl who sat in the midst of the sands. Her silver white hair billowing out in the north-eastern gale that whipped up mercilessly buffeting the sand. Her blue eyes had been closed as she dozed within the sands, as if this was her home. And in all honesty she was a hollow, even if she had humanoid form, a being that was immensely more powerful than any other normal hollows could even come to hope or dream about. Even in her inert state the raw power of her energy was enough that it quite simply had wrecked the sands about her, creating a crater within a couple hundred feet of her body.
What was she? Well to aptly explain that you have to delve into Who She was, and the answer to that was, she was the inner hollow of Azuma Levy Lazarus, Dark of the Monsuta, Leader of the Elite division. She was an unfathomable creature, normally animalistic and brutal. Yet normally androgynous something had occurred to change the inner hollows appearance from a horned beast, and to cause azuma levy lazarus to retreat into the very inner most sanctum of his psyche. ”..Shadows light, i am tired, my mind is in tatters from the assaults of mana asthavon and i need to recover. . . Protect them in my stead” After the battle with mana asthavon in brazil, Azuma had traveled to hueco mundo in his moments of lethargy. Despite holding up under the onslaught of the queen, the denseness of her chaotic energy, the lunacy and damnation that sough to encroach on his self, his psyche was still prevalent.
It was because of this that azuma had given the reigns to the hollow that laid in the sands now. Her hollow hole perfectly present in her mid-navel. The only real interesting thing of note would be the placement was a hole within a hole, forming a figure 8 like appearance. Other then that the crown of a hollow would be the peculiar bones that adorned the top of her skull, movin out in different places like a crown of bones. As if she was some sort of queen that had only found her way back into the maw of hueco mundo. Yet laying there, her mind was only blank, she hadn’t developed a personality, a sense of self when tora, lionus had found her wandering hueco mundo three years ago. She had been a beast that roared at the world. Then she had been taken, experimented on and then merged with the being known as azuma lazarus.
She had no recollection of her own past, nor anything else. Yet being here with the chilled sands beneath her luminous moon-kissed skin she felt a sense of familiarity. Even if she was but a primal beast roaring at the world, she was able to sleep, and to slumber. Her body like a doll planet in the sand . .as she had her light sleep. . and slept on.

W-what the hell? What the hell???
Curling her lips upwards and crossing her arms, she couldn’t believe her eyes. Some female looking Hollow was just sleeping in the middle of nowhere. That lazy, carefree attitude reminded her way too much of Starrk. Part of her wanted to wake her up in a similar fashion as she usually did with her old friend. But alas, they way she awoke the Espada was a bit unorthodox and quite vulgar as well. Despite doing as she wished, she would likely go a different route, specially against someone she knew nothing about.
”Freaking get up!”
She knew better than to just attack someone that could be much stronger than her. Still that didn’t stop her from acting like someone that could actually hold her ground against even the Demon god himself. Cupping a large amount of sand into her petite hands, she would have tossed it right at the Hollow’s face. The impact would not have created any pain whatsoever, but perhaps the hit would have been enough to cause her to awaken.
It baffled her how people could just lie around doing nothing. So lazy. With so many dangerous and terrible things around, she couldn’t stand people like Starrk that simply lazied around without taking action. If the Hollow did indeed awaken, Lilynette would jump back in a defensive stance in case it retaliated it with violence. If it didn’t, then she would either have to resort to less than lady like measures to awaken her, or leave elsewhere before the slug Hollow came back to enfuriate and irritate her any further.

THE LIGHT WITHIN THE SHADOWS

Noise . . Noise. . NOISE! It blared all around her in the form of someone who seemed to be actually hellbent on waking the sleeping hollow up. Granted in the mind of the shadows light it was nothing more than an irritating buzz in the backdrop of her conscious and conscious mind. Deemed unimportant by the thalamus and thus not registered. Yet it was extremely loud. . and more so than that it was consistent noise that eventually brought a small action out of the hollow. She’d roll over her expression remaining neutral. ”..So annoying. . . So . . Bothersome” Unlike azuma who probably would have been up in an instant, this gal was rather animalistic, primal in her mannerisms and even in her goals and interactions with the world around her. This translated into a . . .reluctance to get up or to interact with other people when she was doing anything even remotely close to the action of sleep.
Yet as the hollow vizard abomination simply began to stir, the ground was disrupted by the white slug-like head of a hollow which knocked the sleeping girl into the air with a jarring impact that shook the sands. Be it out of playful nature, or sinister intent, this blow got a much more immediate response than the way that lilynette had yelled at her. A feral growl rumbled in her throat while the girl had her hand cocked back as cobalt tendrils of energy compacted into an orb that she fired directly into the ground. Normally with no outlet a cero of any caliber would simply blow up and leave a crater, however with the holes and whatnot that had been burrowed out by the subterranean hollow, the ground would bulge as the explosion vented down into the tunnels, sending the hollow that had infuriated lilynette gingerbuck and accidentally slammed into the hollow known as shadows light on it’s way, as for shadows light?
Well the hollow landed with a thud, on her back rather than her feet because she had still been groggy enough that the thought that maybe she shouldn’t land on her back hadn’t crossed her mind yet. This left the hollow on her side in a divot in the ground, sand mixed in with her silver locks of hair, slowly though she would rise, her eyes opening. Each the color of electric blue or cobalt. They would study the girl slowly, taking in her violet colored eye, and the strange outfit she wore. Reaching up to rub her own eyes for a moment, trying to orient herself before she opened her lips to finally speak
”. . . . . . “
Even as she tried to speak, unfortunately no words came out. Since despite being able to talk normally, that was with her host backing up speech patterns and being able to pull from him. With him in such a psychological state of withdrawal, she wasn’t able to tap into the information as she normally could. Which led to her being unable to formulate words as easily. Infact after a few more attempts which led to the same fate, she had exhaled exasperated, cranky at being woken up, and rather . . grumpy in general. Letting out another snarl that bubbled from her lips at her own stupidity she blinked candidly and then the most peculiar thing happened.
The light itself would warp and contort to form a single visible image in front of the girl known as lilynette gingerbuck. It would be a question-mark that looked to be of a neutral Gray color. Given she was also using this to convey her mood. The color was neutral just like her. Eventually almost comically many tiny question marks would float around as she observed lilynette. Seeing if she would continue to speak or if she’d be baffled by the medium that the hollow had came up with to converse with her.

”Wow, wow. What the hell… What the hell? What the hell is wrong with you, you, you dark, t-thing?!
Once again, she had shown the very typical Lilynette like behavior. She didn’t care for strength, and she didn’t care for fear of death. Unfortunately sooner or later that behavior would come and bite her in the ass, though hopefully not too hard. Starrk always reminded her to be polite, behave lady like, and be nice, but as she always reminded him: To hell with that shit.
She didn’t take crap from anyone, and she was the first to let anyone know how she felt, regardless of whether or not they could kill her without even trying. Granted most of her own tantrums stemmed not truly out of being upset, but rather her own personality. She just became annoyed and irritated rather easily by almost anything that didn’t conform or behaved how she wanted. Sometimes she simply got upset when things didn’t go her way. Frankly, though she had grown up an inch or so in the last few hundred years, her appearance still quite accurately described her behavior. She was a woman stuck in a small body with an equally small or rather youthful and immature personality.
”The hell was that about? You could’ve killed me!”
One would’ve thought she would have shown more concern for the slug Hollow but that wasn’t the case. The nature of the being perhaps had made it capable of surviving the hit despite barely. If it had died however, it would be due to no one’s fault but its own. Even Lilynette had enough of a rational mind to know better. Though she would have no issue talking down to and screaming at anyone, she knew better than to actually physically attack someone that could kill her easily. She wasn’t one to run away from fights, but she tried her best not to purposely hit things she couldn’t kill. Coyote Starrk of course was the only exception.
What surprised her further was the quiet demeanor of the Hollow. She didn’t even talk! Or at least it looked as though she tried but nothing had come out. Then, all of a sudden she had a moment of eureka. She went quiet, and her seemingly upset expression was wiped clean. In its place, a light blush overtook her expression as she started laughing out somewhat maniacally. She did try her best to cover her laughing with one of her hands, but it seemed difficult to hold the laughter back. She had decided that her looks, and her beauty had simply been too much, and had shut the Hollow into being quiet.
”What? Don’t tell me my natural, voluptuous, and curvy beauty shut your tongue. You can compliment me, I don’t mind. Go ahead.”
Still giggling to herself some, there was nothing fake about her words. Of course she was far from being any of the things she had described, but that didn’t stop her from believing it. In her mind, she was the most beautiful girl that existed. Anyone with smaller breasts and butt than her, if they actually existed were just flat. And someone with much bigger assets than her was simply a fat cow. There were fr more details she could go into if pressed. For now, she simply awaited for either the potential complement to come from the Hollow, or a different response altogether. How she would respond however was to be seen. All that was for certain was that with Lilynette, things could only go a couple ways. And for the sake of one’s eardrums, one could only hope they went her way.

THE LIGHT WITHIN THE SHADOWS
Artist: Undertale OST - Song: Your Best Friend - Word Count: 914
. . . .
The hollow that sat on the ground looking up at the runt-sized female before her did not speak. Because in all honesty it hadn’t figured out how to oscillate the vibrations in the air to imitate a voice yet. All that she could do was cause minute changes in the refractory process of the light around her. This was how she was capable of generating the question marks surrounding her. But for right now when the female before her began laughing at her expense she felt a bit of anger. Being a very animalistic being still her anger stimulated her ire and the very sands around her turned instantly to glass from the heat that was a byproduct of her oscillating the light around her until it reached such a powerful wavelength that it simply afterwards caused the class to turn molten, and then combusted into flame. In the midst of this of this cauldron of flames she seemed to be struggling to speak, trying to find a way to use something other than the default roar of her hollow voice. But she couldn’t! And it fucking ticked her off! Infact her tantrum got to the point that she jerked her hand to the right and the very sand parted as a beam of pink light flew from her palm and left a trail of 40 foot high flames, and magmatic glass beneath it.
But, this wasn’t directed at lilynette. Rather it was shot in a random direction, while the hollow eventually seemed to calm down, her chest still heaving with pure frustration as she looked at the girl infront of her. Glaring at her as if she could convey how irritated she was with her childish demeanor at this point in time. Yet, even then the ire again wasn’t leveled only at her, it was at most a tenth of her current irritation that could be attributed to the bite-sized arrancar. The other Nine-Tenths was self-inflicted because of the fact that she couldn’t speak. Yet she exhaled and threw her hands in the air helplessly before she used her finger as it it was a pencil. Drawing lines of light into the air to formulate the sentence that she wanted to say at this moment.
Where am i? Who are you, and why is there barely and light here?”
It was a very simple question, but the oddness of how it was delivered would probably cause even more bullying on lilynette’s part. Yes, what shadow’s light had perceived her laughter to be was pure bullying, a kind that even she was helpless against in her current state because, she was nothing without the mental capacity of her host. Sure she was extremely intelligent, but she had never had the time in tora lionus lab to develop speech patterns. It was this short-coming that brought her to the current predicament she was in. Unable to really speak even though she certainly was still trying to form words. Each failure causing her face to flush even more than the last in a genuine display of chagrin. She hated that she couldn’t speak, and that she couldn’t use her silver-tongue to put this sassy brat in her place, but what could she do? She couldn’t even figure out how to speak!

Looking around her, in front of her, and in all directions, the sands seemed to be ablaze. It seemed as though the weird Hollow had produced enough heat to turn the sands into glass. Old man Starrk was still stronger however, or so she thought, even if the two could probably match each other in how irritating they were. Regardless, the black Hollow was very obviously stronger than her at the moment, but that had never stopped her before, and she damned sure wasn’t gonna start now. Instead, she simply brought her hands behind her skull, continuously looking around mesmerized though not in the most positive of ways as she walked closer to her new acquaintance.
She wanted to scream and shout, and say a few things that would have likely gotten anyone else killed. She wanted to continuously smack her until she finally found a way to speak, to listen, or to act like a well behaved lady--like herself… Eyeing her up and down, she was unlike any Hollow she ever met. Certainly less animalistic than the typical Adjucha, but she was no Arrancar. If she was, she was a damn weird one. Her outfit, if one could call it that wasn’t very fashionable or cute or so she believed. There was however a silver lining, and likely the reason why she was able to hold herself off from getting further agitated, and further assaulting the individual with side smacks.
”Ah you’re just curious ain’t ya? Well I’ll tell ya.” With a grin, she crossed her arms under her rather flat bosom, almost as if doing so would create the visage that she actually had anything there but a rather flat slippery slope. ”I am the secret Arrancar Queen, the Goddess of the Espada, the Almighty and Beautiful Lilynette.”
Right after she said so, a hand would be extended. It seemed as though she expected it to be kissed like they did for some of the mighty beings of royalty. She wasn’t completely off however. As far as Lily cared, she was royalty, and everything and everyone was beneath her, specially Starrk.
