Fighting quality aside. Through a common basis of spiritual race, multiple characters managed to bring out the best in themselves and then some. Putting differences in beliefs and striking differences in style aside to face up to and contend against a being much stronger than them. The quality of the writing and the workload of everyone involved separates from just a fight thread, and onto a level that merits recognition beyond that.
