The opponents will arrive in a realm filled with azure skies, plum rocky terrain and an endless rain which coats this entire dimension. It expands for roughly twelve miles in every direction and the opponents will emerge in random locations throughout the battlefield. There may be item drops, and sometimes there may be random eruptions of lightning that attack the opponents. There may also be sudden earthquakes and other types of chaotic events.
With that said, the opponents can now start their match.

Mirja, the Masterless Pet
Mirja, after arriving in the arena that had been designated for her, looked around, and smiled to herself. It was a nice enough place, the rocky mountians, the lovely sky, the feeling of boundless freedom in every direction. Which ever she chose, she could go that way, and be free. There probably were limits, it was a fight after all, no point having an infinate plain and then telling the people to fight, that'd be both boring, and rather nonsensical. Just take off in one direction forever, and that's the fight over and done if the other person couldn't catch up.
But, in this fight, she wasn't going to run away from her opponent. She had to impress Queen Mana, after all. Having met the slightly crazy monarch, and having seen the interesting and certainly amusing dynamic between her and Arianda, there was no question that she wanted to make the Queen happy, and entertained. It was just obvious, really. Even if her and Arianda didn't really speak these days and she hadn't even seen the Demon or her pet Ceal in a long time. It was the principle that mattered, not the faux logic.
So, Mirja immidiately streched out her senses to see if she could find anyone around this place. There would be only one person unless this place was incredbily crazy and had like a million copies of each of them just for the sake of amusing Queen Mana. Which, was well within her mentality, now that Mirja thought about it. So, just hoping that she wasn't going to be faced off against people with her face, she had enough of that against her Saca Dila with the emo raven, back home, she focused on trying to find what she was looking for, and then she could proceed on how to pummel them to pieces.

ENTER THE DEPTHS
Artist: Mogeko Castle - Song: N/A - Word Count: N/A
Ice flowed into her veins, the rain thundered around, and it soaked her very being. Her white hair normally pristine hung dripping from her shoulder while her normal pristine white garments had been changed out for a black cloak one that touched from her toes to her head. The hood covering her eyes and allowing her surprisingly to blend into the stormy display, the plum-hued sky merely turning bright for a moment with a flash of lightning, to illuminate her platinum colored gaze that practically glowed in the low light setting. The Elect of the vandenreich was many things, a leader, a person who could come to care about others as if they were her own, but above all? She valued her people, the quincies and because of this she had hardened her heart until it was similar to the glacial lands she hailed from. Her bow in her hand it’s light muted because her mind had reflected the intention to conceal. She wished the bow not to be seen, hence it was harder to spot, yet as she had appeared in the rocky terrain with the winds roaring about, she had elevated herself first off on a block of reishi raising it until she stood high in the air.
Suspended there she had looked down in the landscape, her pale gaze skimming the dreary earth below. Then she would have slowly looked until she spotted her opponent, maybe a mile due east of her, her own form quickly disappearing into the gale as her dark cloak blending in with the plum filled sky next? She had released an arrow directly at the female, and then let loose another seven in rapid succession. Each one would fly true and collide within a foot of one another with pin-point accuracy. With any luck? These arrows would do their job, and put the opponent to rest however if not? The female had paused her face mostly shadowed while she let her bow tilt back as she’d pull it back as far as it would go, energy funneling down into the very fabric of the spirit-made weapon. Then? It would fire up the arrows vanishing into the sky itself before it would turn from pouring rain to pouring quincy-made arrows. 500 of them would fall down towards the ground covering a thousand foot radius.
Yet as she rose, a wetness could be felt on her face, yes even if she saw the necessity as a person, she abhorred wanton violence and senseless fighting. Even as she forced herself to steel her heart and fortify her mind against the pain. She continued to fight, because she saw the logic of it, she could show that the quincy were not weak, were not defeated. That was more important to her than her own morality, than her own ideals. This was why as she bounced on her toes she waited to see if possibly her opponent was going to back down however if she didn’t? The quincy would be ready to enter the fray once more. She did not cower in the face of death, not when this much was at stake. She would be strong for her people. Strong for her race, hence she had raised her bow and allowed energy to gather across the surface four arrows forming and hovering at her back while she waited. Her words coming out as a warning.
”..If you surrender i won’t have to hurt you. Pick wisely.”
With her warning given? She waited to see the outcome of her opening act.

Mirja, The Masterless Pet
After some looking, her opponent showed herself, which was very polite of her. No need for Mirja to wander around this hole looking for what might turn out to be hours just for a fight that would probably be over pretty quickly if Mirja caught them and landed a solid punch. Floating up on her platform, Mirja's sharp eyes and spiritual sense felt something familiar. The icy Quincy, from before in the rukongai. Knowing that, and knowing she was probably going to be shooting arrows any moment now, Mirja quickly drew Beowulf and released him.
"Bankai. God Of Steel" She exclaimed, the sword flashing and then turning into a heavy suit of armour, possessing Mirja's own skin cells - of which hurt like hell, thank you very much Beowulf - allowing it to recover from any damage.
But, damage would be hard to sustain, as the armour was of a level in durability it made Mirja herself look like wet tissue paper. She couldn't move very well in it either, considering it was closer to a ton in weight than not. The armour seemed a good idea, since a few seconds after she had spawned it, a handful of Quincy Arrows bounced off the outside. Glad that the thing was actually as strong as she thought it was, Mirja looked up, only to see hundreds of arrows covering a massive area. So she stayed where she was. No way could she outrun that in this armour, and the arrows were spread out enough that she wasn't going to get hit but loads of them, and the armour could hold off quite a lot. She'd not tested it's durability, but it was many times greater than she was, and Mirja was hella durable herself. So the armour was like something akin to a mountian made of Diamonds.
But then the warning came to surrender, and seeing a few hairline cracks in the armour already, she knew there wasn't going to be any outlasting of this Quincy. Her attacks were highly potent, and Beowulf would soon be smashed open to get to the gooy center, in comparison. If she could break the armour just like that, then Mirja's skin and bones would be nothing to her. Lamienting her bad luck with such an unbalanced line up, she waved as the snow angel.
"Sure. I can't bring myself to hurt such a cute anyway, so you can have your surrender thing darling"

[adm]Giving 72 hours for Shizuo to finish his post. If he does not finish it within this time period, then we will skip him and determine what happens to the character afterward.[/adm]

”..Well then, this skirmish is settled.”
Her voice carried before the bow seemed to flicker from her palms. The reishi that had densely covered her being simply fell away, dispersing back into the natural environment around her while the elect had exhaled. So far she had gotten lucky, this had only taken a few minutes and she hadn’t needed to resort to. . . unsavory tactics to win. Yet it made the quincy also wary on what was to come. This fight would only continue to get harder as time went on. She would have to get stronger as she fought or she wouldn’t be able to succeed, nor would she be able to show the world how powerful the quincy cold actually be.
After she had nodded she simply sat back forming a chair out of reishi that would glow the faintest of blue’s in the light, her platinum gaze drifting once more up to the plum sky. Taking in the clouds, and the relentless rain made her think of many things. Yet as her lips pulled into a frown she could only think about how the road ahead would be full of perils and hardships. Hence she would eventually glance at her combatant, her expression for now a weary one, the stoic facade she wore as a mask would cave to show a fraction of the humanity that lay hidden beneath the icy exterior.
“Thank-you, i didn’t want to harm you if i didn’t have to do so, not because you are weak, but because i wish to have as little blood shed on my account as possible, even if that is a naive reality, it is the one that i adhere to. “[/b]
Her words were genuine, and what she said about herself also was true, she was a naive existence. Her ideals and morals weren’t something that normally could be upheld in the twisted world of today. The chivalrous tendencies she had would eventually become a bane rather than a boon. Hence why all she could do for now is allowed her lips to part before she gave Mirja a once over, comparing her from the time they had met in the outlands of the soul society to the time now. The girl seemed stronger, more put-together, and well . . . she seemed to be more sure of herself. Hence the quincy would acknowledge that and say slowly.
”..You seem to have gotten stronger since we last met, keep getting stronger. It will benefit you in the long run.”
Arrogant maybe, but this would be as close to a compliment as mirja or anyone for that matter would get. Given the quincy was rather gruff and closed off to virtually everyone in the world bar the banner in which her people rallied under. She saw opening up to be a weakness, even if to some it could be a strength. Hence for now she’d wait for both of them to be released, so she could find the next opponent, and get that much closer to her destination.
