To Ceal, it felt like so much has happened in a short period of time. Having met all these people, it felt like her life was starting again. It felt nice, this. It was good to be in the eyes of people around her. Even to Kokuto, a slight abrasive, but a decent enough guy, though he wouldn't show that to you outright. Her adventures in the demonverse was so eventful that it was hard to believe honestly. Seeing so many different kinds of demons, different looks, places, cultures, all things unknown to her. She did have a feeling though that would be where she mainly would stay these days. Not here on Earth, but in the darkness of the demon's world. It was effectively her place now, even if that seemed odd. It was the place Mana called home, and, as her loyal pet, her's as well.
Just the thought of that would fill Ceal's cheeks with heat, like usual. Just thinking about the fact she belonged to her told her two things. The first thing was, she was able to be of use to someone, and in this way somewhat of a companion. And two? It was just so exciting! Ceal always loved trying new things, her burning curiosity always getting the best of her, even if it were to her own detriment. She was just so glad that this time, it was overwhelmingly successful.
Fiddling with her collar, flipping the tag around her fingers, she closed her eyes, still able to smell her demonic aura. Would the collar ever lose that smell? Would she ever get used to it? Could she ever get used to it? It caused her heart to palpitate, beating in unsteady beats. Now it was racing, her breathing picking up. Definitely not a good thing despite where she was at.
These were the wastelands. Hollows would appear here on a regular basis. No life to see for what appeared like miles. That is likely probably why. This area was so close to theirs they were able to spawn freely. Vaguely she wondered if they would try and target her, or would the scent of the demon queen deter them? Would it serve as some sort of repellent? It was known even to the lowly beasts that they were to respect the chain of command, and she was at the very top. That's why she appeared here, through a rip in space.
She wanted a place away from people, from everything, to see just how she could flex her power. She didn't want to be around anyone and was quite shy about it, not wanting anyone to really watch. Nevermind the fact that tapping in the Mark's energy felt... way too good. It's like every time she tried to draw upon it's power, tingling sensations would assault her body. Now she was sure she'd never get used to this, since it wanted to bring her to her knees like, everytime.
Hohkay.. I can do this. I need to see exactly what this power means to me! Mana said it would manifest itself in a way that was most beneficial for me. That means... if I truly want it to be a core part of myself. I need to let it do that. Wew... it's like letting her be a part of me.. which.. feels way too.. jeez! Can I even handle that? I feel like I'm already acting a bit out there sometimes, getting lost in the moment. Would it change me forever? Well... I guess that doesn't sound so bad.
Today, she had came a bit prepared, draped in a thin white coat to reflect the harsh sun. Her attire under was merely a pair of denim short shorts, a tank top, and well.. of course her collar. She couldn't take it off even if she wanted to. Only Mana could. However, she looked around. And not anything for miles. This was good, cause she wanted to try something that had happened by total accident during her first time with the Queen.
Closing her eyes, Ceal took a deep breath. She allowed the power of Eris flow through her, feeling it's sickly tendrils course through her body, through her veins. It gave her an increased spatial awareness, electrifying her senses while she focused on expanding her soul, utilizing it's resource. She felt the maddening grip of the terrible, yet wonderful power. It caused her eyes to glow an eerie green, not unlike those of Mana, and totally unlike her own of her past.
The visual result of what she was doing was causing slight arcs from her body of black lightning. She couldn't hold it into herself, but luckily here, she didn't need to. So, with this, she just let it flow out of her, despite the fact she couldn't control where it went. Currents went out of her body, discharging with large crackles while they tore at the ground around her. She was standing within what appeared to be a ruined town. That said, it was bolting to destroyed structures, making contact with anything solid, somehow distorting it, warping it's composition and causing it to crumble.
It was definitely quite the light show to see it all. Bolts flew in every which direction. However, Ceal needed to stabilize it, for what she wanted to do was not simply discharge. She needed to alter the space around her, ionize the very air. This would help facilitate her power in low currents that had a purpose. Ceal began to focus on this, clasping one hand over another and placing them at the point of her chest. As if it were windy, Ceal's hair would sway with her power.
The idea of this trick was, the very nature of her power was changing. It wasn't just electricity anymore. Somehow, it could be combined with the nefarious personality that is demon magic. Her power getting an almost hunger for others. Tendrils of electricity could zap and take away the energy of others instead of shocking them. She could zap their will to fight, subdue them without much pain or blood loss. While for her it seemd a noble cause, her power just wanted to take it from them. It wasn't wasn't the same as absorbing people's power, but it did rip their energy from them upon touch.
What she was trying to accomplish here, was a move she called “Disaster Field”, creating an area around herself that just passively ate away at one's power and stamina just for being in their facinity.
