Now that the Black World Realm has been created, there seems to be an excess side effect: realm infection. One of the first dimensions to begin being influenced by it's reawakening is the Soul Society. It has been noted that there have been bizarre earthquakes, hurricanes, snowstorms, temperature fluctuation and other environmental oddities occurring in the realm since the end of Operation Moon Massacre.

In fact, the people themselves have started to act in erratic ways. There have been reports of people becoming more manic, others seeing profound leaps in creativity, some finding great insight into intelligence and others utterly losing their minds. It's been a mixture of good and bad expansions of the psyche and it seems there is a massive shift occurring the Soul Society right now.

Add to the fact that there have been an increased number of spirits entering the realm from the Black World, and it appears that an incident is taking place which requires the attention of the defenders of this realm. Reports of "shadow" copies of Soul Society residents have been being seen throughout the dimension.

Many people aren't sure what to make of it, but a thick and heavy "negative" energy is beginning to sweep through the world. Your job is to dispose of this energy and begin trying to purify it. You may run into resistance and this job may take awhile considering the scale of the outbreak. There may be demons which appear from nowhere, inverse copies of spirits which appear, the world itself may be dangerous due to the unsteady climate in some regions and the negative energy is potent enough to begin making people physically or mentally sick.

However, at the same time, this energy has been reported as inducing more positive side effects in different individuals; as previously reported. So there are others attempting to keep this energy within the realm and you may find yourself pitted against them.
