Spiritual Healing (Viz/Henrex) (Kido Corps members ask before joining)

(Continuation of https://www.platinumhearts.net/t15488p10-high-flying-battle-the-sealed-training-viz-zen )
It had been a week after Zen and Henrex fought in the forest. Some would have said it was a bit excessive to keep him down for so long but Zen wanted to be careful about what had happened. He wasnt sure what happened when he was fighting Henrex. It did seem as if his body was taken over by another force, but he didnt feel anyone else in Henrex's body, so that only caused him even greater concern.
During that time, Zen and some of his squad members placed a very strong seal on Henrex, essentially sealing all of his powers and abilities until it was removed. If this was something that could happen at any time Zen didnt want to risk anyone else getting hurt. While Henrex was a threat to a captain, someone that fast and crazy could easily slaughter those that werent prepared for an ambush.
Zen walked through the sterile halls of the recovery wards in the Kido Corps. He didnt spend much time in these halls. Even as the captain and being capable of healing others, that wasnt his strongest suit, other were more than capable of taking care of the injured. He had put Henrex in a single room. He knew the shinigami was quite shy about what his body looked like and made sure that only very few people could see him in the state that he was, specially when he first came in with those wings in full display.
Zen reached the door to Henrex's room and gave it a few light knocks to let him know someone was coming into the room. Zen looked a little surprised and smiled to see that Henrex was awake. "I'm glad that sleeping beauty finally woke up. You've been out for almost a week. I take it that you remember what happened that brought you in here?" He said, slightly getting straight to the point, but his tone a bit softer, not trying to drag the poor man straight into an inquisition.

Henrex heard the door open, and immediately covered his left eye. The other would widen in alarm. He went to reach for his sword, before realizing it wasn't there. It was....wrapped in his shihakusho across the room, and Henrex quickly backed away from the bed and to the wall, with his wings retreating to his back....only to find out it was Zen. His shaky breathing quickly normalized. He let out a small sigh of relief. He heard him talking about how he was out of a week. W-What?! Impossible! Henrex's mouth dropped open, shocked to hear something like that. His non-covered eye looked to the right, and out the window. It was sunset. Last time he remembered, it was night.
He looked back at Zen, before moving his hand. He remembered everything. Kajet possessing him, Henrex intervening....all the way up to when Zen knocked him out. He let out a heavy sigh, before nodding. His head was lowering. He was ashamed of himself. He couldn't restrain himself. He lost control so easily. He sat down on the bed he rested in, refusing to look Zen in the eye. He was so incredibly ashamed of himself. He bit his lip and sighed. "I...remember...everything...I'm sorry....I put you through that..." Henrex said, before seeing his sword across the room. He slowly lifted his hand up, and snapped his fingers. The sword didn't budge.
Henrex's gaze lowered. This wasn't good. He looked at the sword, before he then returned his gaze to the ground. He couldn't look at even his own Zanpakutō. He didn't know what to do now. There was something within his Cyberbrain that had fucked over the combat session. Now...Henrex was confused on what to do now. He looked at his arms. His left, scarred immensely. His right, simply covered in the same tattoo markings as his left. He sighed and put his head in his hands, his heart and mind in turmoil...

Zen looked a little bit sad at Henrex. He was so confused and remorseful about what had happened. It probably didn't help that he was in this room alone, all of his powers sealed.
"Dont try to force yourself to do things right now." Zen said trying to be reasuring but firm, like any doctor would. "We sealed your powers for safety reasons. We dont really know whats going on with you so we thought it would be best for everyone's safety to seal them. To avoid any stress that could cause your personality to change and if it does change your potential fordamage would be greatly reduced."
Zen moved to a nearby chair and sat down on it. He looked at Henrex, who didnt want to make eye contact with him, who could really blame him. He was powerless, he knew what had happened, most people would feel really bad about it. Zen crossed his arms and looked at the other shinigami. "Well the good news is that nothing that shouldnt be broken inside of you after that battle is broken. You need to take it a bit easy, we did the best we could but those fractures could still come back if you stress yourself too much."
"In other news you arent possessed or undergoing the hollowfication process, so the possibility of you going evil is slim. That leaves us with two possibilities. You are either insane, or something is wrong with that cyberbrain of yours." He said this more matter of fact, like any doctor would when trying to probe deeper into what a patient knows, fully aware there is something that he wasnt saying.
"So. Could you shed some light on what could be going on?"

Henrex's eyes widened when he mentioned the word Cyberbrain. He knew what had happened. It was why he kept his Cyberbrain off at that time. Kajet Shadowguard. The virus within his Cyberbrain. He knew it was something, but he wasn't sure that it was a virus at the time of his obtaining it. Henrex's eyes quickly lowered, and his head now faced down, with his black hair covering his face. "....I know....what happened....and what was responsible...." He whispered, as if he were showing some great secret to Zen. He slowly rose his trembling hands to his face, up to his eyes. His fingers curled up until his index finger was the only one pointing out.
"M-My Cyberbrain....has a virus...." He said, before his eyes shut and he put his head in his hands again, his entire body trembling as he told this. He was afraid. Afraid of what Zen might want to do. What he might think of him. "It's name....is Kajet...Shadowguard.." He said slowly, picking his next words very carefully. He then sighed and began to recall how Kajet had gotten into his Cyberbrain, who he was, and what he did. "Kajet....WAS...a Hollow program. It was a cure for the incident 510 years ago...when the Hollow Incident was still in it's prime." He said, his eyes slowly closing halfway.
"Kajet was the main, you could say, bug tester and basically just a test code for all the programs that were used on people. One day....he gained sentience. He fled. He ran from the facility....and right into my Cyberbrain." He said. "Kajet....then spoke to me. He said that he was....a friend. He said that he could help me like no one else ever could....and then...I asked him what the catch was. His response....was that I let him out...so that he could be let in..." Henrex finished, before looking towards the floor again. He sighed. He didn't want to tell anyone. He was afraid of what they might want to do to him if they found out.
Henrex could only wait to hear what Zen would say next...

Zen was quite interested in this story. A hollow program that gained sentience and infected Henrex's cyberbrain. Thats quite the story. Thought it did make sense. Given the rumors about hollowfication so long ago, well not rumors, they were indeed fact, it owuld make sense that someone would have been looking for some sort of cure, or preventative measure, for hollowfication. And if indeed this could have been some sort of simulation, program, or hollow-like concience, if it did grow and mature, it could behave just like one where it decided to exist in.
Zen got up from the chair and started to pace in the room. He looked outside the window, gazing out over the Seretei. He extended his hands infront of him as he placed them down on the small ledge before the window. "Even after all these centuries things from the past still haunt us. We can come and god, live and die, re-organize ourselves, but the horrors of the past still linger." He then sighed as he said "I apologize for that. Youve been here longer than I, so you should be aware that things always come back to the seretei. Things that we thought were long gone, that we try to bury and forget. They always come back, and stronger than before."
Zen turned around and looked at Henrex, now leaning against the little edge. "I wish I could tell you that I can do something to fix it, mitigate it, or seal it. But sadly this is out of anyone in our wheelhouse. If it was the start of hollowfication then we could start intervening, but this being purely electronic we cant really deal with in any sort of sensible manner that we would know would remedy the situation. The best I can do is probably send you over to whoever is the lead of Research and Development and see if they can sort anything out. But for now I think it would be best for you to stay here and rest for a while more." Zen didnt seem to be joking, but he wasnt trying to be all doom and gloom, even if he didnt have anything that sounded like good news.

Henrex sighed as Zen said that there was nothing they could do. He could understand that. They were the Kido Corps. Not the Research Center. His eyes still lowered in sadness. He didn't know what to do. He wanted to be normal....but...he wasn't. He would never be a normal Shinigami. He would always be...tainted. Henrex slowly stood up, and silently limped over to his shihakusho, and his Zanpakutō. "...No...it's fine. I'll go. I don't want to cause you any more trouble." He said quietly, before picking up his Zanpakutō and his shihakusho. Putting on his shihakusho, he attached his sword to his side.
He was upset. He didn't want to have this problem. But he had no choice. He was careless enough to accept the offer that Kajet gave him. Now....his Cyberbrain was practically a slave to Kajet. If the combat was good enough, Kajet would wake up and take over. He wanted everyone to feel his pain. The only time to do that was when Henrex was battling. It was the reason Henrex pulled his punches and kicks all the time. He was afraid. He was afraid of Kajet waking up again, and possible severely injuring someone on his side.
He was afraid to fight. He didn't want to wake Kajet up on accident. When that happened....Kajet would fight his hardest until he was defeated. It's what scared Henrex all the time. It's why he was always reluctant to enter combat. He was afraid....essentially, of himself. His hand reached for the door, before stopping as he gripped the handle. Should...he leave? His head slowly turned down as he contemplated this. Did....he...NEED....to stay here? Would Zen try to stop him? If he did...so be it....Henrex slowly opened the door, before taking a single, shaky step into the hallway, before he stopped. This would continue until he was standing within the hallway, with his head facing the floor. He wasn't sure whether to go....or leave....

It sounds quite serious in on its own. It is a shame that our captain here has forgotten that there was someone capable of fixing the issue in Kido Corps. While this is an unofficial statement, this young man has gained the knowledge that baffles even among geniuses due to his past involvement in an experiment regarding developing an artificial God. White-haired, with a mark across his left eye that resembles that of a lightning and dressed in complete white with unique violet-colored patterns, that young man is Hisao Yazaki.
He has eavesdropped the conversation since the beginning, unwilling to get involved as he finds this issue to be none of his business because by no means that he is related to the person that is dealing with the program that he spoke of. But then, an idea came in. With a grin across his face, Hisao decides to intervene since it does seem that one of them was prepared to end the conversation and leave.
Once Henrex opens the door to the hallway, all he would be able to see is a standing white-haired figure in front of him. He didn't really want to waste his precious time since he does have a prototype body armor that he needs to be working on, so all Hisao did was reaching his hand out to Henrex's chest and forcefully push him back into the room without any hesitation. He would then follow him back into the room as well and slam the door close from the sight of the hallway.
"I've eavesdropped the entire conversation that you two have been talking about and I believe i can give you a solution to fix the issue at hand. Of course, I do not intend to this for free but for a price and it'll be the only thing that the captain himself will cover for."
Hisao didn't have the intentions to lie in the first place. From what he has heard, it is true that he still needs more detail about it. Even if he could solve the issue, whether temporarily or permanently, due to the budget that Hisao himself is having at the moment, it would be impossible to perform any experiments, much less to even fix his issue. They may underestimate him all they want even if he is weak, not so powerful and barely achieved shikai but intelligence-wise, Hisao would have possessed most knowledge that any man or woman can hope to get their hands on. An artificial intelligence that has gained sentience may be an extremely rare case but certainly does exist in few parts of the world, making it possible for Hisao to fix as long as he has the information required.
Sitting down onto his Nasods, he continued his sentence with a smile. If those words weren't enough to convince Henrex into trusting him, he will continue on with those words.
"All artificial intelligence, regardless whether they have gained self-consciousness or not, always have similarities in their programs. Just treat it like how every single human being in the world has one common ancestor. I don't care if you believe or not but I might be your last hope to ever keep that little program in your head in check."
Crossing his fingers, Hisao would proceed to make a direct eye contact with Zen first before shifting his attention to Henrex, all with a smile on his face. Then, ending it with a final sentence.
"If you agree to letting me help you, I will need to ask for something in return."
Empty, blank space.
