It had been some time since he thought to visit the other Shinigami. Tsubasa by his calculations viewed Radioactive as perhaps the strongest of their race. He'd left the Gotei 13 unmanaged and without proper control presently. Damien had all but vanished off the face of the earth. Tsubasa's energies needed to be devoted to fixing what was wrong with him. He felt a hunger for fighting and going all out with nothing left. Tsubasa had been disappearing and reappearing frequently. But it was time he and the man met for a change. Both had lived lives that were far from ordinary lives. Tsubasa knew all about Radioactive and his involvement in the Quincy War. He was certain the shark knew him by reputation. If not it wasn't something so critical that it mattered to him greatly. The Blades his faction of sorts seemed to be going very well overall. Tsubasa had come here with a clear goal in mind as he exhaled a breath. He knew full well if he was to get into combat with the Shark it would mean some changes for the Russian Landscape. He sat his frame down slowly as he pondered how it would go. He gently unsheathed Byakko from its sheath and rested it in his lap. This would be the first time he fought a true battle as far as he knew. Oh, he made certain that Radioactive and those within the several miles knew of his presence. Tsubasa had come with a clear objective. His goal was simple one, of course, to bring his power under control. The meeting with Saiko had been enlightening but he knew they couldn't be trusted fully with him this way. However he felt like what he needed was a battle that brought him to the edge. Something that pushed him further than anything ever had before. Only one Shinigami existed he could count on in this regard. Ibiki was a fine warrior and would someday step on the stage Radioactive and Tsubasa stood. But for now, he needed someone who could challenge his prowess and strength. No better choice existed for a straight up scrap with nothing but his absolute on the line.
Tsubasa knew he could give himself over to it as he began it in earnest. This battle would be one that brought him closer to the edge. He'd sent Radioactive the note about what was going. The note read the following, "Dear Radioactive, I am Tsubasa Unabara of the Unabara Clan. I have run into trouble that requires your certain talents. I am losing control of myself due to something going on inside me. Meet me in Russia and be ready for a battle. I am entrusting the outcome to you. I will maintain my senses till you arrive..please hurry." The note ended as Tsubasa was somewhat desperate to be in control again. His tool kit was far more diverse than some people would have realized. Tsubasa could feel as a danger to all important. His body wasn't in danger it was everyone else in danger. He'd almost attacked Saiko someone he was sure would have clashed against him. Even now he felt a little disappointed he'd not gotten to clash against her.
The desire for combat filled his blood and veins as he mulled over the answers. His memories were incorrect for some reason. For so long it felt like his sister's death was accidental. But now he knew the truth of it thanks to Saiko and that place. His memories had been altered by someone with great power at the time. He couldn't know who it was sad that changed things. But he had killed Tsubaki with his own two hands. Much like now a bloodlust filled him and restraining it at the time must of been impossible. How much of the reality of it was true he wondered about the past. Farmers that somehow became murderers and spread a reputation. But something about it seemed strange as people showed up to fight them often. Were they truly farmers or was even more changed than he originally believed? Tsubasa wouldn't know his answers to that for some time. It was time for him to focus on the battle at hand. Here he would exhaust everything, nothing would be left open. Tsubasa would pour every ounce of his being into this conflict. He desired something to bring him to the horizon. Radioactive by his estimation was the only one who could. Mana could certainly push him and so could Shadin of course. But the problem with those two was they wouldn't force him to far. He would attempt to keep his wits so he could battle. Tsubasa needed to do two things here. First was to get this bloodlust satisfied and the only way to do that. Was to face a creature who's bloodlust rivaled his own. Radioactive was the clear choice for the first condition. Second of course was something he needed to do that hadn't been done. Tsubasa wanted to push past his limits as he knew them. His strength was something that hadn't been tested truly since the battle against Khala. Finally, he would raise his blade and fight the battle of all time against this beast. His prowess and skills were prepared for whatever outcome came. But even more than that he wanted to find out just how much power he was able to bring out.
One question lingered on his mind was this the peak of Tsubasa Unabara's strength? Or could he go even further than one had ever imagined possible? Could he release greater power from himself? Would this battle help him see what lay beyond? Enough questions for now as he stood up the skies turned gray and cloudy. A storm was rolling in as he exhaled a breath. Focus seemed to pour off his being. He was ready for whatever came as he sheathed his zanapkuto now. His crimson eyes closed as he waiting for him to come. A battle fo the ages was about to begin here. The things of nightmares and dreams were about to come into being here. Tsubasa Unabara and the Radioactive Shark the landscape would change drastically. If Tsubasa hadn't spoken to Shaun about borrowing a barrier as well. The stage was set and a barrier was placed around the combat zone. Everything was hinging on the outcome of the battle here with them. Something primal existed in Tsubasa just hungry for its way out. When he was young he didn't restraint it at all.
Now it was time to let that beast off the chains and fight a battle, unlike anything this world had seen in some time. His original goal of surpassing Yamamoto and becoming the pillar of the Gotei 13 flashed through his mind. He had certainly become a pillar at one point. But now it was time to surpass the old many entirely and become what he wanted. Tsubasa would become something new from this fight. What lay beyond even his intellect couldn't see beyond the borders of it. The challenge of the monster that just lingered outside his view. Tsubasa's brain began cooking up kido and other means of fighting rapidly and close against Radioactive. All that remained was for the beast of men to arrive. His judge and jury would be here soon and the conflict of ages would begin. After this Tsubasa would seek out others to test his skill against. He would find the answer he sought with them regardless. Tsubasa would fight and find the path to being stronger than he was even if it meant fighting those he feared at one point.
