Re: Sector P [Operation Moon Massacre]

The opponents Vanyel had were now on full attack, it seemed. The boring one had slashed at him while he was distracted! How rude! Vanyel scowled as his jacket, shirt, and back was slashed from this person. He was fast enough to turn around and block the kick to his head, but wasn't quick enough to retaliate. "How RUDE! Striking a man while his back is turned? Did your mommy ever teach you MANNERS?! AHAHAHAHAHA!" Vanyel cackled, before realizing that he had been left wide open.
The slime had done something. It had caused the slime on his body from before to solidify, it seemed. His left arm and right leg had been compromised. The slime that had been harmless before had now wrapped around his leg and arm, preventing him from moving them. He gritted his teeth as the thing began to shoot his own matter at him.
Disgusting. Shooting your own body at someone? Talk about gross. But this was no time to be disgusted. He struggled. He wriggled his body as much as he could. But to no avail. Soon, his entire body was covered by the slime, constantly being stabbed with spines. Although he activated Xinfeng to try and keep the spines from doing too much injury to him, but many of them were getting past it. He had one option. He had to use Tilian again. He started gathering Dark Chi within the Qiqong in his chest. This was going to take a bit more than he was used to, but he had little options.
He continued draining his body of his life energy, and fueling it to the area in his chest. He was also forced to deactivate Xinfeng. He then had to endure the spines that were impaling his skin over and over again. He gritted his teeth more and more, as the wounds from the spines that impaled him now caused small trails of blood to run down his arms and legs, before it was done. A black light glowed from within the slime that covered Vanyel, before it exploded outwards. This would free him of all slime that was on his body, as well as knock the slime thing everywhere. Since he was splattered everywhere, Vanyel simply assumed that this thing was dead. Vanyel clenched his teeth and ripped the dagger from the sheath on his shoulder, then charged at the boring one. "Time for you to join your friend!" He said, before grinning and opening his mouth, revealing white, jagged teeth, and his tongue.
His tongue hung out of his mouth, with his eyes widening. Vanyel was growing more and more insane by the minute. He slashed wildly at the person, hoping to aim for the base of their hands so that he could cut the claws off. He was most likely unsuccessful, but he then fell onto his back, sliding forward and aiming to trip him, before leaping up and plunging his dagger towards his heart. He wasn't standing on them, so the person could roll out of the way. Vanyel's insanity, overconfidence, and blood lust was blinding him. He would then stand, with his left hand holding the dagger, and his right sparking Dark Chi.
So much fun....such little time...

Nicholas could not help but grin as he watched the assult that had happned before him. As he payed attention to everything that was going on he had gotten a strange idea and he knew that there was a great chance that it would end up working for him. Yea yea my turn you are really dumb if you think I will be anything as easy as that. He said with a soft laugh as the grin only grew wider. As the downward attack came down to damage his blades he used them to stop the first attack with the blades and threw the attack away as easy as it started. as the second attack came down upon him he just stood still and let the attack hit him. As the dagger came down to stab him in the heart the blade would dig into his chest and slowly work its way down to his chestplate. As it hit the chest the attacker would realize that it would not move anyfurther in no matter how hard he would push.
It would be as if his bones were stronger then the blade. As the dagger his his ribcage he grined as his hand quickly moved to grab ahold of the attackers arm. As he did the blades on that hand quickly returned into his arms as he stared at the man with a grin. As far as people I have fought your the boring one bub. He said staring into the mans eyes. HE then began to squeeze the mans wrist and a sense of extreme pain would proubly course through the targets body. Nicholas did not look as strong as he actually was and this would become overlyl apperant with his grip. He had to have been able to easily cause serious damage if the person he was fighting was not careful with their next move. As he did that he pulled his other arm back and threw a strong stabbing punch at the targets Gut. The other hand still had the blades out so he would end up impaleing the target on the blades if he did not manage to find a way out of the mess or move out of the way.
He knew the person could move out of the way but he was rather excited with the prospect of having been able to possibly do some good again after all those years he had ended up having nothing to do. He was woundering if his partner was okay. Though for the most part he could not help but belive he had to deal with the threat in front of him before anything else could be taken care of.

Chloranthy finally had a grasp on his opponent, and a firm one as well. He would try to finish this as soon as possible, which may very well be very soon. This is what Chloranthy was thinking as he squeezed down on his enemy. This is also why Chloranthy greatly disliked the fact that he began to sense the enemy building up what appeared to be another attack. Chloranthy would not have this opportunity wasted. He frantically began to detach all of the spines he could before his opponent began to glow and he was violently thrown off of them.
Chloranthy hit the ground in a large radius. As he was recovering, he heard his opponent speak something that suggested that he believed Chloranthy to be dead. His opponent was very wrong. Every piece of Chloranthy that remained began to gather in one location. This location was on the opposite side of Nicholas in relevance to the enemy, about a dozen or so meters away to ensure that he wasn't immediately attacked. As he reformed, he was relieved to notice that his attempt to sustain his attack was not in vain. A small portion of himself remained shallowly in the enemy's body.
If his enemy hadn't noticed his returned presence yet, they were going to feel it now. In a few seconds, Chloranthy would be returned to his original shape. He noticed that a good bit of himself got damaged. A large portion of the mass he had built up was destroyed. With a mental command, all of the pieces inside of the enemy began to move. They formed jagged edges as they began their attempt at digging firmly into the opponent's body.

Vanyel screamed in pain and fury. That bastard was twisting his wrist! He then saw his other arm reeling back. He then noticed something else. The claws that weren't on his other hand were still active. Vanyel released his hold on his dagger, aiming to use his steel-lined gloves to try and meet the punch, but then opened his hand and then grabbed his wrist, before he grinned. The grin would be very short lived. The aura around him would fade. His form would return to normal. His body had forced the Awakening to shut down, since the Chi energies flowing within him were too unstable to continue the awakening. Vanyel stood up. He then limped over to a short distance away from the one who had been twisting his wrists.
Vanyel's grin then returned as he crouched down, holding the dagger tighter, even with his paining wrist. He was about to pounce, striking again at the previously boring one, but then....something happened. Something within his body. He dropped his dagger.
Vanyel collapsed to his knees, before looking at himself. Something was IN his body. It hurt. It felt like small daggers stabbing him. It was primarily in his bloodstream. Shit. Vanyel slowly rose to his knees and looked to his left. The slime thing...was reforming....HOW!? Vanyel clenched his teeth and slowly stood. He glared daggers at the slime. "HOW THE FUCK ARE YOU STILL ALIVE?! I BLASTED YOU TO BITS!" Vanyel screamed, fury and anger taking the wheel. He launched himself at the slime, ready to destroy him again, but then he stopped. He fell to the ground. He fell to his knees. Whatever was happening to his body, it was painful. His body was shooting pains throughout his entire being.
It was the most painful thing that Vanyel had ever experienced.
Nothing Vanyel had experienced had ever attacked him like this. This internal pain was UNBEARABLE.
"Make it stop!!!!" Vanyel screamed, for the first time, wanting the pain to end. "PLEASE! MAKE IT STOP!!!! Vanyel begged, before grabbing his stomach and yelling in pain as his body was assaulted from the inside. His face contorted into a flurry of emotions. Pain. Desperation. Anger. Fury. Hatred. He looked at the slime. HE was the cause of this! HE WILL DIE THIS TIME! Vanyel slowly picked himself up, before sparking Dark Chi in his hand, then turning to look back at the other one. He grinned and then slowly moved closer to them, so that he had an even amount of space between the two.
"If I go down....I sure as hell won't let you two get away...." He spat, before he then started charging every last ounce of Dark Chi into this last attack. He would make it as powerful as he could. He continued draining himself of his energy, before muttering something under his breath. This was Ao Kuang's Hatred For Ne Zha: The Strike of Thunder and Lightning. This was Vanyel's most powerful Chi Ritual, and his most powerful skill Chi related. What he had muttered to himself was the incantation for this. He looked up and grinned. A circle formed around the entire area around them, and continued until the circle was a half a mile. Vanyel then thrust his arms out, as a single kanji letter appeared underneath him. Denko. The symbol of lightning.
Clouds would be formed with the last bits of remaining energy he had left. As they formed, they would merge together and blacken. His grin grew wider as he started laughing "RUN! RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN IF YOU WANT TO LIVE AFTER THIS!" He yelled, before lightning started crackling in the clouds. This spell would take a while to fully be usable, but when it did, the results would be devastating. Vanyel was giving these two interesting challengers the chance to run while they had the chance. As the lightning crackled continuously in the sky,
Vanyel's face would light up every time a bolt of lightning flashed within the clouds in the air. He would then ask them one question. "Tell me your names! Tell me them so that I may fight you again! You two have proved worthy challengers! It would be this psychopath's honor to know them so that he may fight you again! Possibly even kill! AHAHAHAH! He said, before cackling. This would be their last chance to leave. If they didn't, they would be wiped out along with this Sector.
[OOC: Vanyel will now use this entire post to charge this attack.]

He looked to the foe as he slowly shook his head. He was not sure he sould say his name but before he started to run to avoid the attack he gave his name all the same. I am Nicholas The wolverine. It was true that it was not his true name. But it was a name he decided to take upon himself. He decided to add the wolverine to his name insteed of giving his true last name. With saying that he looked to the foe and quickly turned and dashed off. He was not super fast but he would hopefully be fast enough to run away from the attack in time. He moved to stretch his arms behind him as he looked to his partner before he started to run. You may want to run as well..
He said with a soft grin as he darted off. as he darted off he grabbed the dagger that was still imbedded in his chest and pulled it out and tossed it to the side. As soon as it was pulled out the wound slowly began to close up till it no longer existed at all. He was not all that worried about the partner but he figured it was a good idea to say it anyway. In the end though he was happy that they bearly managed to get the innocents out before the damage to the city was even done in this part of the town. THe town in the end though may be damaged but at least the people would survive. And that in the end was his goal and that was what he was proud of. As he ran he could not help but grin as the building's would seem to fly by. His mind would race as he moved. He had no idea what would happen but he knew that no matter what that fight was not as bad as he thought it would have been. He was not sure if the other person was running but he knew that today was indeed a rather good day in the end.

With his opponent appearing to be down due to his attack from within, Chloranthy saw an opportunity to finish him off. His right hand would form into a two foot long sharp rod. He would walk forward and quickly prepare to to finish his opponent off with this weapon. However, after a few steps forward, he would stop. His opponent had gotten back up. And to his disliking, they appeared to begin to charge up a huge amount of energy. His opponent was using another one of those circles.
Chloranthy was further displeased when his opponent prompted them to run. That meant that this attack was probably meant to cover a large radius. Clouds had formed and begun to crack with electricity. He did not want to be anywhere near this attack when it launched. Chloranthy thought fast, trying to salvage the situation. Part of his plan would obviously be to retreat from the area, and so he pushed more matter into his legs, making them more dense and once more utilizing them as springs. He would do the same thing to his arm, compressing the pole he had formed into his forearm and aiming it at his opponent. He stored all of the electricity remaining in his body into his arm, then generating some more to push there as he prepared to fire. Thinking twice, he did not want to take the chance that an interruption now would prematurely detonate the attack. Instead, he aimed lower, about two feet or so away from his enemy instead. He launched the pole as his legs compressed, then catapulting into the air away from the attack.
Chloranthy would turn around as he landed, aiming his legs to launch him forward away from the enemy's impending attack. He would continue to launch himself forward at great speeds with his legs until he was a far bit away from his opponent. If he were to interrupt his enemy's charging process, they may just lose control. Best case, this would end in their fatality. As he got about a quarter mile away, he would will his body within his opponent to change, adopting a rapidly decreasing charge. At the same time, the rod that now stood jammed partially into the ground would begin adopting a rapidly increasing charge. The purpose of this was to cause all of the stored electricity within the rod he had fired to discharge into his opponent, shocking him. This could render him unconscious, or at least interrupt the attack, which may or may not result in its premature discharge and his destruction.
By the time this discharging process would commence, Chloranthy would be rapidly approaching a half mile of distance between him and his opponent.

Vanyel grinned as the two ran. Good. He could fight them again today. But another thing. he couldn't keep holding the attack he was charging for much longer. He slowly exerted the rest of the Chi he needed to charge the attack into the Ritual, before the clouds flashed once more, and a single, wide, but powerful lightning bolt struck the center. The kanji in the center of the Ritual would glow, before lightning would spew everywhere. The lightning would overload any kind of electronic in the area, before the electronic would explode. The sector would continue to explode and electrify, causing the entire sector to, in short and in simple terms, blow up over and over.
Vanyel grinned at his marvelous work, before his thoughts were interrupted by something that hit him. Another electric blast. What...who....? These quesions were running through his mind as the blast hit him. The Ritual stopped. The circle would fade away. But....the loss of concentration would not go unpunished. All of the Dark Chi that had been gathered in the circle for that ritual...exploded. All of the energy that had been gathered into that circle exploded outwards in the form of a shock-wave. The wave would flow outwards rapidly, destroying everything in it's path. This was the punishment of interrupting Vanyel most powerful Chi Ritual.
The blast would not exclude Vanyel. This shockwave would force him to the ground, forcing the effects of what would normally be the effects of the Chi Ritual he had cast, but was so rudely interrupted. His head would be spinning like a top. Internally, his head was pounding with a headache. He felt as if he could barely move. The blast would continue to rip and destroy everything in it's path, covering about half the half mile that the Chi Ritual's original range. Vanyel fell to his knees. He was spent. Every single ounce of energy had been spent. He then turned around, and was more than satisfied. There was one massive hole in the sector, at least a mile wide.
He couldn't tell how many lives had been lost from his blast, but even if there weren't any....he was glad. His mission was complete. Vanyel managed to pick himself up, before dragging himself a few meters, then collapsing.
His mission was done. The sector....was destroyed....enough.

As soon as the explosion stoped he found he was far enough away to avoid to much damage from the debree. He looked things over and gave a soft sigh. Well damn couldn't save the area... Ohh well at least we managed to by the civilians enough time to escape. They may not have anything to go home to but at least they have their lives. He said with a soft grin as he slowly turned and dashed off. He decided he had done his part now and he was going to find his way back to where he would call home. HE did not know If he actually did any good but he was actually rather happy with what he did. He took note that his partner was okay and as he did so he slowly noded his head as he darted off. All the wounds he had gotten in the fight were now completely gone and he knew that more challenges like this awaited him but he was actually rather happy with the work he had done all the same

Re: Sector P [Operation Moon Massacre]

Chloranthy ground to a halt and turned around soon enough to see the shock wave as it ended. He immediately jumped back some more distance to avoid the flying rubble that was covering a short radius from the blast. Regrettably, the blast had caused heavy damage to the city, opening a large hole in the center. Even then, there appeared to be nothing more for him to do here. Most if not all of the citizens have been evacuated, so even if the city had sustained damage, it was still a victory in some ways.
Chloranthy thought of the enemy that had caused the blast. The blast definitely seemed to be devastating enough to have obliterated anything at its center, but he didn't know for sure. Upon some time of observation, after Nicholas had left, there didn't appear to be any more activity originating from within the sector. He had also taken some damage, especially from the blast when his body was at low stability. He estimated that he was at about sixty percent of his energy. With that amount, he could potentially help elsewhere, as long as the conflict wasn't among those of a much higher power than he was. If he couldn't help now, he could always take some time to replenish his energy before he rejoined the fight. Either way, Chloranthy would turn his back to the sector where he had fought and take his leave.

Vanyel slowly rose to his feet a little while later. He had blacked out from his own attack. He nearly killed himself. He was battered, beaten, and exhausted. But his mission was complete. He grinned, and slowly started laughing. The laughing grew louder and louder, but then it stopped. Vanyel's grin still remained. He slowly limped his way to where he landed. Time to head home...
