He walked through the halls. The silence was chilling and the lights that flared across the walls further amplified the nerves in his body as he looked around at his situation. People were still running from the area, but not nearly as many as you would think considering the size of the base. He was sure he was only in a small portion of the facility but this portion should hold a lot more people than what he's seen. "They must've fled to another part of the base." Sijel spoke to himself as he continued down the halls.
He had came to the base purely on impulse. Though he hadn't yet regretted his decision to come to the base he did think he may have wanted to scope out the area before entering a random part of the base. But in his mind there was no time for that. As he continued to think about the fact that he should have made a better strategy he began to send out a large swarm of butterflies that would disperse and continue to scour further into the base taking other routes in sijel's steed in order to quicken the observation of the area he was in. He hadn't the slightest idea of what could be here, but it was clearly something the people here weren't ready for and couldn't handle.
He was determined to protect this place since he couldn't help protect Iceland during that huge catastrophe that befell it some time ago.

As the two forces met, a screeching, rending sound filled the air. The very fabric of space tore apart, a portal to the blackness of the void opening before the eyes of all there, and from within the empty blackness came a soft voice.
"Tsk, tsk, creating such chaos and not inviting me?"
Stepping out from the portal came the form of a young looking human. Her short, raven hair danced in the air despite the lack of wind, sapphire-blue eyes boring down on those before her. A grin spread across her face as her hand reached out, fist clenching tightly, before pulling back towards her body in a harsh motion. In that very moment, all the air in the whole sector rushed towards the woman, forming a centimeter thin barrier around her person. However, this was not all that her powerful act had done. The pressure wave caused by this sudden transition of air would be tremendous, likely suddenly perforating the eardrums of all the forces, destroying critical support structures, and possibly straight out liquefying the bodies of those who were on the weaker end of things. Finally, with a lack of air in their surroundings, those that relied upon the substance to live would soon find themselves without it, likely dying off rather quickly if they couldn't find someway to replace the needed oxygen.
Taking a deep breath after her initial assault upon the forces stationed there, a blackish substance would slowly start to secrete itself from her body, like fog it rolled across the sector. As it touched any physical substance without protection from spiritual means, it would eat away at the material, devouring it in seconds, far more deadly that even the most acidic of substances. Watching this scene, the form of Videl Yuudeshi grinned, her mouth cracking open as crazed laughter left her form. Oh, what glorious chaos!

Sijel sat on a crate and took a deep breath. He had been roaming the halls of the sector for hours, but to no avail. He began to hear the sounds of destruction echoed through the halls as battles erupted on oher parts of the base. "This is not what I had in mind when I came to fight this battle." Sijel said as he stood up from the crate. A boom shook his beneath his feet as something broke the seals to a nearby entrance in the base. Sijel's butterflies were amidst the explosions of the attack and now sent out ques back to their master. His mind filled with gruesome images as the hollows appeared from god knows where and began attacking the last of the soliders of this sector. Another attack came nowhere and people began being crushed along with nearby monsters. A girl stood at the other side with a smile as she seemed to enjoy the destruction she was causing. Another man appeared from the entrance where the hollows came from. A Visor hung from his face as he looked around the room.
He turned and lunged forward vanishing in scatters of burning red butterflies. The same butterflies would appear from the darkness near the chaos as sijel walked from the shadows behind them. Like a signal when he looked upon the beautiful florescent blue butterflies explosions would erupt from within them dessmating the hollows that were near them severing limbs and shattering pieces of the mask that clung to the face of the creatures if not destroying all of the masks and the bodies themselves. He looked now at the two beings that were causing so much chaos. He stopped and stared at the woman for a moment as she spoke and then the man as he looked around for something, completely invisible to the hollows that run amuk around him.

How long had it been since the Jackel was called to the front? How long was it since the Unabara demanded his skill at large scale blood bath? Ringo smiled faintly as he quietly used a shunpo vanishing into the area some of the people were fighting out. Sounds of cutting could be heard before in another instant he vanished, the people invading began dropping over like flies. He glanced towards the figure leading them as his eyes scanned him closely. A Shadow Fall Agent by the looks of it at a guess, he wasn't sure what kind of powers he had. Ringo was moving around with high speeds taking down enemies. His enhancement let him get a fair idea of the situation as he moved around. He finally stopped as his spiritual pressure hit the area and a massive amount of energy went out.A fox-like grin worked it's way over Ringo's face as he brought his sword to rest upon his shoulder.
His eyes locked upon Ruvik's form as he slowly took in each other figure in the area. Two people, here it seemed aside from the Shadow Fall Agent it seemed. One he could detect roaming about the area for the moment. "For you I think we'll have to take this seriously.." He slowly reached down unclipping the bracelet on his wrist. An explosion of energy came out as the glow filled the area. Light rays were coming from every direction of his body. His lips slowly curved into a smirk as he pointed his finger towards the man Ruvik. A laser of pure light out from his finger aiming to pierce the creature's chest. His eyes could follow extremely fast movements the question was could he follow them. Ringo had come here with the Heir to settle things. But other goals were on his mind as well as he smiled. The Crow Clan wouldn't be forgotten by any means at all. He would keep their teaching sand memories alive with everything he had. But first was the matter of handling the Shadow Fall Agent here.
"One chance to back off Shadow Fall Agent, otherwise, I'll be forced to execute all of the enemies present.." Ringo didn't beat around the bush or decide to be lazy here today. It was a good day for his sickness and besides that he had an ace up his sleeve. A couple of them as a matter of fact, he gently touched his face. Ready to use his eye if need be but wanting to avoid it. Using it for too much would be extremely taxing. But for Ruvik, he suspected it would determine the battle for the most part. So it and his powers that he'd yet to reveal would determine things here. His eyes watched for the creature to dodge now. It was time to go on the offensive if he refused the offer to back down. "Other people here can back me up or destroy the small fries..I'll handle him for now." He brought the sword from his shoulder tapping his foot he vanished behind Ruvik now beginning his attack. He swung his blade in a horizontal arc before changing in mid swing. His power didn't decrease however as the angle was altered into an upward slash. Sending out a blast of photon's through his blade as he slashed. This was merely a decoy move to give him time as the move was good. He was ready to evade an attack at this point with a newer move. One of his many trump cards he had in his kit of tools. Ringo was ready to begin his barrage on those in the area. He wasn't sure what the situation or stance of the other two in the area was. But Ruvik was a fair challenge for the melee specialist of Ringo. One thing Ruvik would realize likely quick was that reading Ringo's moves was beyond hard. Since the male didn't use a traditional form to begin with. But the fact was he could change moves at any point in his swings. Changing directions was the purpose of the style he'd designed. However, Ringo didn't intend to rest on his heels. Ringo vanished again now as he moved out of the view again. It was though the man disappeared completely in the light attack on Ruvik.
This time, he made the choice to go for a different angle of attack as his energy was released. His speed was clear as he left behind a Tengu decoy for the figure of Ruvik to hit. Upon striking that clone it would scatter into crows which would explode with the fair amount of power on the Agent. Ringo didn't talk much as he began fighting and using his superior speed to pace this fight around. He fired a photon blast from his hand this time at the figure's back. Having moved himself to that location after the exchange. Ringo had also taken to the skies now and stood looking down at the figure of Ruvik. Sounds wouldn't reach the Agent ears till after most of it. Ringo was extremely skilled at Flash Step and his speed was overall good. Ringo brought his zapakuto to rest on his shoulder as he spoke again. "Tell me something Shadow Fall Agent. Don't you have your own ambitions? Why come here to do the work of someone who's out for simple vengeance? I gather you're skilled as far as melee combatants go. But even you must know that fighting me isn't going to be simple with these two here."
He said making mention of the other two warriors, he made sure not to use his strength just yet. He wanted to know why someone like this was here. "Offending the Unabara was likely an unwise move on Shadow Fall's part..I can tell you this, someone much much more dangerous will be coming here again soon.He left the first time out of respect for the figure who he fought..However, now that the Heir has taken the field he has no choice but to return.." He said calmly as he spoke of the Clan's leader. But that was the least of the worries for those here. "I and Tetsu-kun are the first waves Agent.others will be coming soon...Koko-chan is going to be furious with him." He said as he brought his sword off his shoulder finally as he looked down. It only took him a moment to vanish again as he stood with light glowing from his body. His reishi was burning brightly as he waited for Ruvik's next move.
The lack of oxygen didn't bother Ringo due to the photon poisoning he had taken. His body produced photons and everything that came with it. In a way, his body produced its own oxygen supply. A way to do self Photosynthesis wasn't too hard for him while fighting and speaking. His eyes narrowed a bit at the Yuudeshi girl who'd removed oxygen. She was acting foolishly this would kill so many of their own people. It wasn't like they could sense the intent to kill coming off of the guy that Ringo attacked. Ringo made it look as though he'd lost it attacking a fellow Shinigami. But that intent to kill came from two things, Demon or a hollow. Only Unabara matched it and this guy wasn't a clan member. Ringo could tell that much easily as one of the Unabara's stronger members.

One by one the experiments were bested. Exploding constructs of nature, the swift blade of a swordsman, the world-aaltering current of a twisted soul's power...It was a shame. There had been such high hopes placed in those experiments. They had been given power, a vile mentality that surpassed the limited instinct of most Hollows, and a leader to coordinate their assault with perfect precision and tactic. Unfortunately, even all that wasn't enough to save them when people that were actually competent made their debut.
Ruvik could see and sense all of it. It wouldn't be long before the entire squad was finally decimated and cast to oblivion. They were only experiments though, it was inevitable to see a failed one every once in awhile. He was ready to act accordingly with every threat major or minor that presented itself. His visor .picked up on all of them, taking in details in excess that were quickly fed to the nanobots coursing through the Shinigami's veins. First was the most immediate danger he could actually consider a threat, one that actually caught his interests in the same light.
A woman that was so easily about to cast away the lives of thousands? He had never seen her before, but a few things popped up in his digital eye as he acted against her current; only for his own sake of course. The head of the invasion remained still, his device picking up on the change in air currents moments before the destructive pull that ensued! A surge of dark, vile energy began to spill from his body. It surrounded him in a fraction of a second, creation an aura of black texture that coursed through the air like a current of water. As the devastation of her attack took place, the small bubble the man forged around him prevented the space inside from being effected. Not only did this keep a nice supply of oxygen for him to stay comfortable with, but the rapid decompression would have virtually no effect on him. The remaining force of the sudden assault was absorbed into the barrier, leaving the man entirely unharmed by the malicious act.
Overall,. the Monarch was amused by it. He only just got here and already a worthy candidate for his -program- had made their debut with everything but subtlety! The remains of the fodder a midst the Vanguard were swiftly wiped out, the sector cast to ruin with relative ease; and they weren't even done. The form of the void cascaded down from above, inflicting further damage to the already beaten and liquified corpses around the sector. It was more than enough info. A file was brought up, information on the woman from her previous assault on Shadowfall during the Iceland war. A renegade that attacked anything when given the opportunity? To move upon wars on both fronts they had no business with just for the sake of bloodshed and the gratification of inuring spite and disdain from others? The entity already began to build up a way to make his venture here a rousing success. The weakest of the three that stood in the background was of little concern. He doubted the soldier would even be able to manage well just trying to survive the backlash of the future conflict about to ensue. That may come back to haunt him, but they were pushed to the back of his mind for the time being. There would be payback for their needless assault on the lives of his experiments later on though!
Then everything changed when someone turned on the lights.
The Shinigami shifted his head to the last and by far more dangerous person to enter the area. The flood of spiritual energy was a clear show of their raw power, but what actually got the Throne;s attention was the blinding display that followed! Light coursed through the sector, piercing the cloak of darkness that encompassed the man and causing it to rapidly withdraw. The shadows returned into his flesh, the oxygen quickly dissipating in the vacuum around him. in response to this, nano-machines rapidly gathered the oxygen the body had access to and began to distribute it in a much more efficient way than breathing. While the parasite didn't need oxygen, a lack of it would cause some poor performance from the corpse it branded as its own. With what air had been saved before the sudden attack, the machines would have an ample supply to work with.
What followed confirmed his fears and would make this a much more painful mission than he desired. A quick beam of light shot toward him, his visor picking up on the photons and natural composition of it as well as the spiritual energy that drastically augmented it. Out of every opponent he could be faced with, it had to be one that specialized in the use of light-oriented abilities. Fortunately, while this was a problem, it was something he could handle! The creature had been prepared for such an adversary, and with the new modifications in place, he was ready for the challenge. The possessed shinigami moved at a lightning fast pace! Just as quickly as Ringo appeared and made the first move, Ruvik moved to the side, evading the beam of light with relative ease. The scanner over his eyes gave him more than ample time to react, picking up on data from every combatant in the immediate area that was still standing. In the brief moments where the vacuum was broken from the bubble he created, it seemed the Light bringer was still going to try bringing an end to this through words.
They both knew that wouldn't work, didn't they? Ruvik had come here fora reason, and he didn't intend on leaving until he had acquired his objective. It had nothing to do with Shadowfall, but his personal greed and desires! With the damage Videl was doing, he wouldn't need to worry about the area's destruction by the time he departed. The man laughed at Ringo's warning.
" Is there even anyone left to execute? I think most of the fodder has been removed during that stunt a moment ago. I'm surprised you're not going after the culprit instead. Do the lives of the Vanguard mean nothing to you?"
The unseen Hollow had yet to kill a single person for once. The others had done that work for him. Here he was standing here, minding his own business just to be attacked out of the blue like that. Who was the real villain here?....Still him, definitely him. The cyborg of a Shinigami had their blade poised, keeping track of the next assault as it happened. The device over his eyes gave him a very good view of everything around him. He could see and feel the attack at his back without even turning around. Despite the man's own speed, the attacking light bringer was just a tad faster through the use of their steps. It was far from enough to overwhelm him though! In a similar display of speed, the Shadowfall agent vanished in a flicker of motion. He appeared behind his new opponent in the same manner, his blade coming down at their back with not just speed, but immense strength! Not only had he evaded the first slash, but returned another of his own accord immediately after!
Even with an advantage the monarch's adversary didn't know they had yet, the Second-Right throne was a force to be reckoned with. His speed, strength, tenacity, and vile force of will were all on a league of their own! His zanpakto created a wave of kinetic power from the swing. The energy continued onward even if the glowing target vanished, splitting through the sector and maiming any corpses that were in the attacks path. Unfortunately, it was already too late! Ringo was one step ahead. Just as the strike would have connected, his scanner picked up on a change in the spiritual frequency ahead of him. It was no longer his target, but a clone! Not only that, but upon impact it exploded into a ....Barrage of crows? Not one to take the gamble, he quick ly backed away from the swarm just as they began to detonate!
Multiple explosions consumed him and the area, smoke and flames blocking him from view. He escaped the main impact, but was still exposed to the force of multiple explosions during the chain. Small burns covered his arms and his jacket was ripped apart from the explosive impact. He was already getting agitated from the restrictions he was faced with in such an unlikely situation. He had to think carefully and act on any opportunity that presented itself to avoid any direct hits with his main body. His visor picked up on the oncoming blast of photons. While escaping the cloud of smoke, Ruvik turned to the right and kicked off the ground just as his momentum slowed. He moved, narrowly evading the blast of concentrated light. Just being close to it caused him more than a little discomfort in the core of his being. Not only were most of his defenses useless, but too many direct hits could spell much more than a simple defeat in a short period of time.
During this series of evasive maneuvers, the visor over his place played another key role in preparing for his counter. It tracked the entire room, analyzing Ringo's moves and the unique way they fought. It would take a long time to fully analyze, and more to predict, but the longer things went on, the easier it would be to get one step ahead of the newly found enemy of Shadowfall. The high-speed assault was brought to a close as quickly as it began. The light resonating Shinigami remained stagnant in the sky above. Were they done already? The Shinigami rolled his shoulders, the few burns he accumulated from the encounter fading away in seconds. The air was dissipating. What oxygen had been left from his stunt was either too sparse to matter or soon to be drawn in by Videl's ability as well. If Ringo wanted to talk? This was probably the only chance they'd have before even that was no longer an option.
Having had the time to collect himself and register the situation, Ruvik calmed himself. As the servant of the blades spoke, he couldn't help but crack a smile and laugh!
" I don't think you understand. I was never here for Shadowfall. I'm here for my own purpose, and I'll leave when thay have been fulfilled. If I were simply here to destroy the place, I'd be gone already. As for the others? They're no problem. In fact, I'd say them being here is a good thing!"
The Monarch extended their free hand in the direction of none other than Sijel! He didn't consider than a threat or worth attacking alone, but this served a greater purpose than their life. It was to test the mentality of who would be his real opponent and how they reacted to such a situation. No doubt one of their skill could handle it easily enough, but would they even want to? In a fraction of a second, his palm moved through the air; crafting the symbol of a common, but seldom used spell.
"Your feud with Shadowfall doesn't concern me either, nor whatever power will be here in the future. i doubt I'll still be around at that point anyway. You though? I was just standing here minding my own business, only to be attacked out of the blue. If anything, I should be the one giving you a warning for the consequences of such needless aggression. Here I was considering a delightful conversation..Then you showed up."
The possessed Shinigami began to focus their power, accessing the demonic arts of kido through their finger tips before even a word was uttered! In those last moments where sound existed, the roar of building flames became audible. A fearsome red glow manifested in the mans hand, unstable destructive energy flowing freely from the force of his will. he uttered seven words, words that could spell the untimely demise of one unfortunate soul were they unable to act or be rescued. To make things worse, he did more than fire the Hadō recklessly, but cast a binding in that same moment!
".Bakudo number nine, Geki....Hadō thirty-one, Shakkaho!"
Red energy consumed Ruvik's body, only lasting for a moment. The poor guard that was left standing would be afflicted by the binding power of the spell immediately after. Unless avoided, the red glow would encompass them, ensnaring them in place for the devastation to follow!
A giant ball of crimson flames shot out from his palm! It expanded rapidly, containing more power than even an ordinary kido specialist of his caliber could conjure in a basic spell. Its bright glow illuminated the room, burning to ash any corpse in its path and clearing a path through the fog of the void,. It left a trail of sundered earth in its wake, heading for the lone Vanguard soldier that remained! Whether it hit its target or something else, the outcome would be an enormous explosion of searing flames and destructive force sure to leave a mark on even the most durable of fighters! A lower caliber soldier like his target? A direct hit like that could prove fatal! Ruvik's gaze never left the light-encompassed Shinigami. If they wanted, it was possible to land another good attack on him during that moment, in exchange for the life of the target the monarch cast their fury upon.
