A Reunion [Off the coast of Ayuka Wagama]

A KING'S REQUIEM
AZURE IRAMASHA

White and black hair shook violently as the winds pushed against the white beach of a nearby Island off of Ayuka Wagama. The Island was spot he had been to before, its portion being one that had broken off only recently and wisked its way to Ayuka. Chaos Island was a long forgotten memory to most, even to Azure it seemed to be years and years since the events had occurred. Nevertheless however, he had found his way to its reaches once more to take in the site's views. Without another thought, he turned to the ocean and smiled.
So much time had past, as did changes in his own nature. Azure Iramasha brought his hand to his neck and instinctively rubbed it, his nerves catching the wind that blew. Not only did Azure's stature change, being somewhat taller and of a different hair color, so did his attitude towards the human realm. As the Vanguard Leader, there wasn't anything he could do besides protecting the people of Earth. Was there really a reason anyone should doubt him in that sense? Whether they did or not, Azure was Azure. He'd do as he pleased for the people of Earth and continue as he were before.
Taking a deep breath, he turned to the soft sand that was uplifted by the island's shifting lands. Memories were easy to flood back into one's system, one very memory he had of the place was that of a man named Poliro. He didn't know much of what the man did in recent years but previously, they were going to duke it out on these very sands. To think Azure fought for the fun of it so long ago, things seemed to change so easily throughout the years. It was almost funny to think that he was truly in the same spot many years ago, yet held a lot of different values at the time.
Turning his way to the soft blues of the ocean a final time, his lips pursed before expanding to sigh. "To think that this is who I am now. So much for being myself from the beginning, huh? I'm leaps and bounds different. Is that such a bad thing, though?" The somber words of the Vanguard Leader flew through the soft winds of Chaos Island, drowning out eventually within its deep greens and jungles. Plopping his behind against the tough white sand, Azure sighed and turned to the sky. If only he could have those times back. The times of happiness and sanity.
Things were just... so different now. So lost.

Song: Crimson Belvedere ~ Eastern Dream - By: Demetori - Word Count: 372
A island long forgotten, nothing but mere memories to most people by now. It has been many years since Poliro, the Flame Reaper set foot on this island after the events that transpired here, although ultimately he never played a major part in the events here.
He was on this island, having yet again disappeared from the world. No one really knew why he did it and neither did he. He was still searching inside, for something to motivate himself in his life. Poliro felt like although he had no reason to fight or any reason to put his life on the line. Doing it for the sake of being the good guy didn't appeal to him anymore. But yet, the reaper was unable to find a reason, leading himself to isolation once more.
While he was on this island, it came to him just now that he felt a a powerful presence. He quickly was alarmed by this wondering what else could be on this island. Something new had arrived here, definitely. He began moving out to where he felt this power coming from to investigate.
After reaching the source of this power, he saw just a man. Poliro didn't know who he was, but was confident enough to go up to him and find out. The reaper made his presence known by appearing in front of the guy and got a good look at him. When he did however, he realised just who this man was - his eyes were very familiar and distinct. This was the man Poliro met many years ago on the same island they both stood on.
"Holy shit..." Poliro let out. "I haven't seen you for years... Azure." He recognized the man in front of him as Azure Iramasha. They were due to have a battle that never came to pass. "On this same island. What a coincidence, bloody hell.. whats brung you here?" Poliro was genuinely curious as no one really had a reason to come here anymore and for that reason he used it as a place of isolation for himself. The reunion of these two would take place - the question remained, what would happen now? Would their battle finally take place?

The vibrant blue eyes of Azure Iramasha watched the soft white clouds float their way throughout the sky. The deep blues of the sky played against the white as if they were dancers. The Vanguard Leader was relatively relaxed, his body in a state that had little to no cares in life despite his current circumstances. He rubbed at his nose, coughing as he spat up quite a bit of flem. Azure Iramasha was quite tired of the world as it stood, his current location telling quite a bit of the story itself. Before he could do much about dealing with his own feelings however, an odd sensation filled his being.
The vibrations that broke from his heart to the air had caught onto quite a fast being. They were heading straight for the Iramasha, something that didn't bother the man too much. Letting the situation unfold, Azure took it entirely in stride. Before he knew it, the Vizard power signature crept its way to Azure's side before gasping. It wasn't a confused gasp, nor was it one out of worry. It seemed that it was one of enjoyment, the words that followed afterward cementing the thought even further.
Poliro Tensol. That was a name Azure hadn't thought of in years. Even if that were the case, here stood the man. Tall and brimming with anxious excitement, Poliro had easily identified the Vanguard Leader even through his change. It wasn't too much of a surprise though, the soft blues that Azure had for eyes didn't help keep him too disguised. Scratching at the back of his head, he turned and sat upright to face Poliro.
"You're tellin' me, Poliro. You're not wrong about the coincidence thing, hell, I doubted any knew of this island still." The gentle smile of the Iramasha returned to words of the man, his hands returning to his side to keep him lifted upright to face the Vizard. He was quite a face to see, he was a man he planned on battling for just the hell of it. As usual, things always end up changing before there was much to do. Without another word, Azure stood up and began to dust the white sand from his clothing.
"I guess you can say I need to take a step back from things. Life's a bit hectic these days, believe it or not." Turning to the bright ocean, Azure smiled and continued on. "What about you? I haven't heard anything about you in years. Thought you gave up on the whole fighting thing and turned to a life of seclusion. Sounds kinda nice, actually."
Of course, there was time for fooling around, even if stress was the only thing that filled the man's quiet mind.
Things were just... so different now. So lost.

Song: A Soul as Red as a Ground Cherry By: Demetori - Word Count: 458
Poliro was quite excited to see Azure, he had wondered how he changed over the years compared to when he first met him on the island they both stood upon. Azure would begin talking to the reaper. He didn't have too much insight into his character or life from his one meeting, but now he had the chance to get to know him.
Azure's last sentence really resonated with Poliro however as he finished speaking.
"What about you? I haven't heard anything about you in years. Thought you gave up on the whole fighting thing and turned to a life of seclusion. Sounds kinda nice, actually."
Poliro suddenly began to reflect on his past years. He had definitely been secluded. Even when he tried to make a return to the world, he ended up in seclusion again. It all came down to him not having a true reason to fight. He used to motivate himself by thinking about his now dead love, Ayane. He thought by fighting by the good of the world, he would be doing his dead love justice. But it had been years. He had gotten over it and that didn't mean much to him anymore, the dead don't have feelings.
He spoke back to Azure after he had been plunged into thought by his words. "I haven't been totally isolated. I've been here and there, got into some fights, tried to enlist with the Vizard Corps, but it all felt.. meaningless. I wanted to be a force for good. But I have no reason to, so now I fight for myself and no one else. But I don't even have a reason to do this anymore. I don't really care if the world goes up in flame at this point, I feel like there's nothing for me, Azure. And that's why i'm out here. I don't have a reason to fight anymore."
His profound statement showed his reasons for being so isolated nowadays. Poliro needed a spark to ignite once more for him to fight again. If he regained this spark, the world would be able to see the proper return of one the strongest fire users out there. Its when Poliro remembered he was due to fight Azure but it didn't quite happen.
"Say, weren't we going to fight on this very island some time ago? Don't think we actually did in the end. I'm sure you've only gotten stronger right? Its been a long, long time since i've had a proper fight. Maybe thats what I need..."
Poliro threw the idea out there, perhaps this would pave the way for him to reignite his fighting spirit and find a reason to fight once more, with the help of Azure.

The white sand of chaos island's drifting lands was in almost every crevice of Azure's body. It continued to fall as his body shifted back and forth while and stood and watched the Vizard man. Things were different for the Iramasha but things seemed to have died down relatively fast for Poliro Tensol from how it seemed. The man seemed to do this or that but it was almost as if he didn't belong anywhere. Azure had felt that way quite some time ago, even to this day it feels as if there are things that don't sit right well with the Iramasha. Nevertheless, he understand how Poliro felt about the situation as a whole, if no one else did.
Shaking his white locks, Azure smiled and patted his side. Taking the man in once more, the Iramasha's voice rang out with ease. "Everyone has a place they belong, even when you feel down for the count. Sure I'm not the best to talk to about it right now, but shit happens right? We grow and change, but there's always somewhere that can be considered a home through thick and thin." He shifted his gaze to the sky, bringing his hands into a ball behind his head as he coughed abruptly. The heat of Chaos Island only continued to bear down on the two as Poliro commented on the fight that never came to fruition.
"Sadly, I'm going to have to say I can't be the one to give you that intial fight, hot head. I'm not in the mood to duke it out, even for a cause." He sighed, kicking at the white sands as he fully turned towards the ocean and flopped back to a sitting position. Things had change since he was a tad bit younger years ago. If Poliro had asked him the same question 3 years ago he'd be perfectly fine with fighting the Vizard, but it just wasn't Azure Iramasha anymore.
"Sorry, man. Honestly." His knees came upward to his chest, arms folding against his caps. The bright azure ocean spanned the view of the Iramasha for about as far as he could see. It was a nice and calm view, one that he would wish to see forever. Things just weren't like that though, were they? Taking a deep breath, the man began speaing once more.
"Im a bit of a broken version of Azure Iramasha at this point, Poliro. Things have change quite some time again and its far more stressful than I ever believed it to be. My fellow vanguard members view me as a powerful leader, but to me I feel as if a portion of me is just entirely gone. Ever since that... that bitch decided to take things into her own hands. And to think, she thought she was stronger than me." The sand around him began to vibrate, the chaos energy within the man began to grow aggitated. In a split second, the sand that once brightly shined in the sunshine glistened, its surface becoming glass-like in texture.
"Tch. What a pathetic asshole.."
