Re: Sector D [Operation Moon Massacre]

Kimiyo's palm stretched outwards, flexing her fingers to their utmost extent before curling them up into a ball. Steam escaped through the gaps in her fingers like the smoke of a gun's barrel having fired. Some of it adhered to her 'delicate' flesh as droplets of sweat when it became cool enough to turn from gas to liquid. To tell the truth, Kimiyo hadn't really been in a combat operation for the Vanguard yet, not until this day. She would maintain her condition and abilities through the daily training, but she never quite had a time to exercise her power to its fullest since she left the Miyake village. This was a chance...
She brought her fist back towards her and stared at it, moving her fingers one by one as if she were just testing them out. While the skeleton man was trying to speak to her, she was only snickering at this feeling of energy rushing through her arm. This was to live for, this power; there was just nothing quite like the experience of Chi filling her body, mixed with the adrenaline constantly being secreted throughout her blood. To be honest, she could hardly be assed with the identity of her enemy, or the reasoning behind this conflict, or the morality of the situation when it came to a good fight. She was here to have others provide it for her.
When the pair of bones were hurled her way, she would finally look up from her own hand, bearing the crooked smile of an arrogant woman. ''Let's not make this more complicated than it needs to be,'' she replied, as her right arm coiled back and then swung at the first projectile like a speeding truck. The seemingly hard surface would undulate and warp from the strength of the impact, trying to hold itself together under the shockwaves bounding throughout it at first. However, when it became too much to handle, the bone would shatter into an innumerable amount of white flakes that fly into the far right wall like the spread of a shotgun blast.
Following that, Kimiyo leaped up into the air to dodge the subsequent projectile, her foot stamping down from the top of the bone as she used it like a stepping stone. ''You dodged my first attack, huh?'' she inquired as her boots dashed across the narrow length of the bone, her body rushing towards its sender. Each step broke through the surface, splintering and cracking it open before moving on. Her final footfall would be the strongest, pushing herself off fast enough to cause her visage to flicker out of view, while the bone smashed into the ground behind her. Kimiyo's body would only reappear when directly in front of her prey, her arms spread wide like she was about to give out a bear hug.
''Good! Maybe you might be worth my time!'' she cried out happily, just before whipping her arms forward and attempting to smash the man's head between her hands like it was a discolored watermelon. When her palms came together, the sound they created when they clapped would be strong enough to shake one down to the bones. For Henrex and herself, the sound would be muted by their fleshy bodies... but the poor skeleton was nothing but bone, and would find himself releasing an annoying tone as his body shook from the vibrations. It was rather comedic too.
''I'll fight you here, and you'll entertain me, or else I'll leave for your boss. That is our relationship... and all you have to do is keep it as simple as that, okay~? ...Surely you've been on a date before? You should at least have the basest manners. Treat a cute girl nice, why don't you?'' To have an opponent who didn't fall at the first attack was, strangely, a rarity in Kimi's life. As long as he was able to keep her on edge, she would have no reason to leave unless she was directly ordered to, and even then with great reluctance.
As she was about to go in for a follow-up attack on the skeleton, she was interrupted by the nearby whispers of the boy from earlier. Try as she might to zone him out of this exciting match, he was there to reaffirm his existence. 'Huh, I guess I should be nicer toward other members of the Vanguard... but geeze. At a time like this?' Really, he stopped her to exchange names and pleasantries, really dampening the fervor of battle she was feeling and practically getting high off of. There would always be time for introductions later, but... she guessed... for the sake of another fighter...
She flexed one of her arms across her chest, and placed the palm of her other arm on her bicep, adopting a stance of strength and heroism. With a more genuine smile than any of the vicious contortions of the mouth she had given out thus far, she looked at Henrex and announced in a powerful voice: ''I descend from the skies to deliver victory onto the battlefield, and defeat even the strongest of foes while fighting gracefully. I am the beautiful and dynamic Goddess of Battle, Kimiyo Miyake!''
