Song: Purple Bard - Artist: Homestuck OST - Words: N/A
Useless.
So weak, so meaningless, such a waste of her time. Honestly, a grunt of the Shadowfall would have been more of an even match for Aish, but really? The Grand Duchess wasted her time with such a trifling scuffle, one that made her waste time on more important matters. Well, at least when the battle ended, she could destroy this area and claim it as her own. Every bit counted, and this was an entire section... probably needed a bit more defense, but hey, the Vanguard wasn't ever known for being wise. They challenged the powerful might of Shadowfall, that already showed just how idiotic this group of collective misfits were.
Something interesting did happen, a technique that Belle's never seen before. One that was a sacrifice of one's body for a goal. All of the energy within Aish had suddenly vanished, disappearing without a single trace- oh, no, it was still there. Just building, no longer within her internal pools, but rather manifesting within her very body. Something was happening, something that was interesting Belle all the more, to the point of where a smile formed upon such thin lips, coupled with her posture becoming all the more teasing with a hip thrust outwards. There wasn't much Aish could do that would bring that much harm, she was not only spiritually connected, but much more durable than those around her. Whatever big move let her use all of her energy at once with no build-up would certainly entertain her enough to -not- completely erase any fragment she had left of her.
The hug could have easily been avoided, they were connected through the tendril, letting Belle know just where she was heading. Despite this, there was no reason for her to try and run away, for she had a fair idea on what was going to happen. Some form of final attack, and Belle was confident enough in her abilities to survive it. With Aish's taunting words let out one last time, Belle responded in her own way. Her own hands reached upwards to grasp at Aish's own, tightly squeezing as her own devilish grin became all the more apparent.
"I'm afraid that your strongest doesn't even deserve my best effort. Fade away into the afterlife, you have no use here any longer. All this talk, but not enough show to truly entertain me... Despicable."
Not another word could be given out as Aish's attack was performed. Energy ruptured the flesh of this Iramasha, tearing through her very flesh to burst forth and to let such odd, beautiful flames consume all in it's path. The flames latched unto the very form of Belle and clung tightly, as the very destructive force of this explosion reached outwards, slamming against the steel walls of this base and even layering the floors to truly show just how wondrous of a explosion this was. The feelings Belle had now were a mix of pain and pleasure, the horrific pain of being singed alive was interlaced with the thrill of the fight, with the thought that even after all of this, she would shine brightly in the ashes of her foe. Her lips parted as a single scream was let out during this blase, flames covering her entire form as the nature of this scream seemed... mixed, not of pain or death, but not of true excitement. Perhaps just a faked scream to make Aish feel as if she had done something in her last few moments.
When the fiery blast finally subsided, flames dying out and dimming until they were no more, Belle still stood tall. Was it really going to be that easy? This was someone who had survived many wars, who had suffered grievous injuries, who had the destructive energies of Neoveta residing within her. A single Iramasha's weak attempt at a kamikaze attack wouldn't kill her, but it did definitely harm. Bits of flesh were torn away, large holes littering her body. From these holes oozed out her blood, her very life essence, and not a single inch of her body wasn't singed and burnt horribly. Despite the pain, and despite the sick feeling in her stomach, she had survived. Not a moment later had all that Aish tried to do began to revert.
Holes slowly sewn themselves shut as blood clotted, the burnt flesh even being restored back to what it appeared to be before the fight. Perfect and flawless. Coupled with the intense power Belle used, she was soon restored back to her full form. Sure, it took a -drastic- amount of energy to recover from such a blow, and without a source to drain from, it took even more... but she had one, Aish had lost, and the being was alive. A master in durability would always trump any move from someone adept in the arts of chaos. Maybe with a bit more training or power would Belle have suffered in a more permanent way from this, but now? She was holding herself at this point. Everything hurt but felt so wonderful, oh the -destruction- she would cause after this.
But first, those ashes. It didn't take a genius to remember the whole 'phoenix' aspect of Aish's being, so it didn't take a genius to guess that even if she was supposed to essentially be evaporated, ashes meant something. The ashes meant she could rebirth, as all phoenixes did in their lore, from the hottest flames. We couldn't have that, now could we? No, Belle still wanted a pet. What better than a pet than a fallen operative who worked for the Vanguard, even if for a short while? With a snap of her fingers, a small amount of her energy was used to create two things. The first was a simple gust of wind to gather every last piece of ash in the room, and the next was a jar made entirely of ice. This gust of wind put every last speck in the jar, and the top was soon closed. Normally, fire melts ice... but there was nothing to spark in there, only the freezing cold. Even if this was completely false and she was toying with the ashes of someone who was dead for good, it still would make a nice decoration! If Aish could recover through a way similar to how phoenixes revive, then she would find that this icy jar was -freezing-. To the point of where the moment any liquid touched it, it would freeze instantly. Such power came with a strong tie to Demon Magic.
With a nice, big, deep breath, the girl found herself holding unto the jar and simply waiting to see if anyone else would arrive. If not... well, there was havoc to be brought about!

Clap...Clap...Clap.
Kamui let his Yizhi drop and for the first time letting his presence in the area be known. When the metaphorical pressure valve was release, Kamui's being slowly began to press out in to the area around them. It was a wave, a wave of jackhammers, cascading in to the area as he suddenly seemed to appear from thin air...clapping. Kamui had watched the ill fated attempt by the now significantly more well done combatant and while it was some what cute, the regenerative abilities of the one left standing where considerably more intriguing. It was then, with his presence unveiled, that the wide and enthusiastic eyes were now in full view as he looked up...and down...then up again the frame of the demon. It would seem his search for a genuinely ugly demon would have to continue, he wasn't quite sure what they were doing but a race known for being grotesque seemed to only churn out beautiful women, maybe it was something in the demon water.
"Impressive impressive. I was hoping she'd go with a less drastic approach but it is what it is."
Kamui slowly began to close the distance between where he stood and where the young Belle was standing, the grin on his face growing wider and wider with each step. It was unbeknownst to Kamui, but each step would also be having a rather interesting effect on Belle. Kamui was a ridiculously ambitious individual, quite well past the point where "ambitious" did not quite do Kamui justice. His machinations were vast, larger than even his closest confidants were aware. He was greedy, he lusted for power, he sought to own the very fabric of the world itself. The desire that rolled off of him every waking moment was so thick a normal person could almost taste it. For Belle, it'd be as if the very air around him was the sweetest of candy. That was also before they began to delve in to Kamui's rather well documented sexual proclivities. The scenarios running through his head right now would make even the most experienced of the oldest profession blush as his hunger and desire for her physically only seemed to exacerbate that ambition that so sweetly flowed from him.
"I was originally going to ask you to withdraw, I have other places to be and protecting this sector felt like much more of a chore if it was something we could assign that one too and killing you doesn't sound like much fun. So originally the plan was to request Senorita Charbroiled there be left with me and you took your Shadowfall folks and scampered back to whatever hole you crawled out of...but I'm sure we can find something more fun to do. I could always use more toys."
He couldn't tarry here long, Kamui did have things he had to do and the window of time with which to do them was closing. Resolving this quickly should have left enough energy permeating in the area with Aish's little Kamikaze maneuver, but he was interested, he felt shades of Sasha with this one. Perhaps she really would be a fun new toy or, at the very least, she'd be an amusing distraction for a short while. He'd be loathe to have to kill her.

Well then, this was certainly surprising. Someone was watching her without a single trace! That meant one of two things, either Belle was losing her touch, or maybe the Vanguard was smart enough to have someone powerful watch over this sector. No matter the case, the clapping lead to Belle's eyes trailing over to the origin of the sound, leading to the visage of the one and only Kamui. This was certainly a sight to behold, he didn't -look- that strong, but looks were obviously deceiving. He exuded something though, a -great- amount of energy, in more ways than one. For Belle though, it was the more tantalizing thing in this entire room. She had just spent most of her energy on recovering from Aish's explosion, and someone so powerful already revealed themselves, just what was she to do?
The first thing would be to hold back lewd comments, at least for a few moments. The aura that Kamui seemed to arrive with was overbearing, powerful, dominative, perfect. Everything about his very being had something she -needed-. The lust for power, the lust for prestige, even the lust for lust itself, craving one's body and needing it for themself. Kamui had all of this, and it was as obvious to her as the sun is obvious to a vampire. Just being in the same room elevated her very being, pupils dilating as her lips parted slightly to reveal a toothy grin. She was -very- interested, no, she lusted for Kamui right now, though lust in the sense of his body or his energy could be debated. This interest even rose to a point of where her tongue began to run right along the pointy tip of a canine, eyes focusing on the man himself.
Though now his purpose became obviously clear, he was here for good. Damn, a fun night desecrating the place where many humans would die was definitely an alluring thought for her. He was here to protect this area and, well, didn't seem like he was actually all for it. Why even be here if you don't feel any true loyalty to the Vanguard- well, to be fair, a lot of demons did the same with the Shadowfall for many reasons, though Kamui's reason for being here alluded her up until the very last word he said. Toy. He was here to find certain people that interested him, and Belle just had the honor of catching his eye and being the target of his advances.
"Well, I'm all for fun and games, but you're catchin' this ol' wittle girl in a tired state... Tell you what, let me sap just a tiiiiny bit of that -delicious- energy, and I'll change into something a bit more... 'appropriate' for our meeting, how's that sound~?"
Appropriate for battle might have been a stretch of the truth with how her eyes narrowed upon him. She didn't even care about the stupid jar at this point, tossing the object to the side and letting it roll over to hit a wall. Oh boy, this was gonna be a fun night. With the request given for just a tiny taste of what he really had inside, all three of her spiritual tendrils slowly approached Kamui, trying to gently and tenderly run along him, trailing from his neck to even a bit more private places. If he gave her even any notion of permission, each one would happily plunge into his being, painlessly of course, for the two to share their very spirits with one another.
"The name's Belle by the way, -you're- certainly a bigger catch than the Iramasha was~!"

Artist: Mogeko Castle - Song: MaouDamashii Town 10 - Word Count:
Kamui's eyelids slowly rolled down those stunning irises as she spoke, his eyes managing to smirk in that confidence bordering on arrogance fashion that he had down to a science without so much as being visible. He didn't know how this creature exchanged energy, if he was lucky it would be the same way he and Sasha made "exchanges." The smirk grew wider as the lust grew stronger as Kamui's mind trailed back to what he honestly considered his greatest of many conquests, a moment he was genuinely proud of having succeeded in even if his own confidence refused to see it as anything but pre-ordained that he was to be victorious. If she was sensitive to it and paying attention, she'd notice that the aura she had been finding so tantalizing only grew stronger as he descended in to his tiny little day dream. Even still, Kamui was confident bordering on stupid and he was so sure of himself that the thought of giving Belle that energy really didn't present itself as a threat. However, Kamui was only bordering on stupid, he was not actually stupid. As his eyes slowly opened, they would be distinctly different. The soft brownish-blue color was replaced with a brilliant baby blue that seemed to shimmer when light so much as glanced them, glowing in the light basking around them as they bore in to Belle.
The Bateria Szemek affording Kamui all sorts of information. He saw the flows of kinetic energy, he saw the thermal patterns emanating from her body and he even saw the spiritual tendrils that had snaked toward him and got very familiar very quickly. The soft grin returned as she was seemingly waiting for permission. Kamui nodded gently toward her, giving her what she sought, the permission to sap that tiny bit of energy. Of course, that tiny bit of energy might be more than she was ready to handle. Due to Kamui's heritage, the energy coursing through his body was a hyper concentration of both Chi and Psionic Energy, the resulting mix creating a hyper rich energy source that was, for all intents and purposes, massive even for a being of his magnitude. Kamui's energy reserves were so massive that an equivalently tiered being would have trouble drinking it down and part of him was genuinely afraid the girl would burn out before he got to have any fun. As such, he let the process go only for a moment and as soon as the tendrils punched through him and the sickly feeling began to creep in to his stomach, Kamui had set off to finding a way to remove her invasion. He kept a casual eye on his energy coursing through those tendrils and coursing back to her, quietly musing about the effects his Chi might have on her. He first attempted to grab the tendril and pull it out, no such luck. That resistance suggested it was something that needed to be removed spiritually, a theory he was quick to put to the test. Focusing his attention on a small pocket of air around the tendril near his chest, Kamui initiated a small spell that forcibly drove the air pressure laden with Psions through the tendril, the supernatural forces effectively severing the tendril. He repeated the process for the remaining ones, severing them off all in a fraction of a second from the initial severing, showcasing what a Grandmaster of Sugiuran magic was capable of.
"Hello, Belle. I am Kamui Cruor."
The full exchange had lasted only a couple of seconds, most likely not enough time to drain much of anything from Kamui. However, what she would have been able to drain from him would have been intense, easily equivalent to what she would have received if she suckled on the Iramasha that had been unceremoniously rolled to the side for the whole day, the equivalent of trying to chug a gallon of espresso when you'd spent your whole life drinking cups of coffee. Kamui was genuinely concerned that the girl may have just killed herself through her suckling and he was sure she very well could have if he did not cut her off. He did not want to see the ways in which she might kill herself, he already knew the answer to that question. No, Kamui was much more interested in how well equipped she was to prevent him from killing her.
"For our first game, let's see if your previous survival was just a fluke."
He didn't wait to see what the transformation she promised was, it wasn't relevant if she couldn't enter it under pressure and without any warning outside of Kamui's eyes shifting to the spot just in front of her navel, the air around her seemed to cry out in agony. Kamui, using his Cantus, targeted the area directly in front of Belle and within milliseconds explosions rang through the air with her tiny little body at the epicenter. The power of the blast rivaled the suicidal venture performed by her previous opponent, threatening to overlay the scorching of the area as the flames rose up in front of them, the air from the blast blowing Kamui's fiery red mane back in the wind as he, almost boredly, watched the spot where Belle had been standing before.
