Mercurial Awakening

A feeling of being crushed and covered by debris was what weighed on her frame. She slowly pushed upwa\rds sending pieces off of her and the others around her. She couldn't remember what happened as she got her first view. It looked as though a blade had passed through the land and their home.It was all gone within an instant files were gone and erased. The destruction had cut the place they called home in half the execution grounds were gone. Her orbs adjusted to realize that they were down the bottom of the cliff. The mountain top home was completely gone so too was the mountain it rested upon. The attack was quick and without hesitation and she knew the culprit well enough. Her father had done this for a reason since most of her kin survived the attack. It was unlikely that she would find an answer as he was gone completely. A stasis kido had been used on them of some sort by her father though she knew not the details. She gripped her ribs as she glanced left and right her Vice Captain badge remaining on her shoulder. She tore it off and tossed it to the ground off to the side. She touched her Zanpakutō as she slowly found herself to her feet. Looking left and right she noticed others doing the same thing as her. Some were members of the stealth force that went missing during it. Though they were Unabara first and that second. They discarded the markings as they all adjusted now for a moment. This meant two things for certain the Unabara weren't meant to be here any longer. Her orbs looked at the home that overlooked the Gotei 13. They had become nobles and that had been a fine thing in itself. She knew what it meant now at least as she wasn't sure where they would go. But the clan would need to relocate and rather quickly. This was timed with the ending of their stasis as each member seemed to register it quickly. The mountain was crumbling as she glanced around the area once more. "Well guess we are going out in style at least. Come on let's go somewhere." She said as she adjusted her dress dusting it off as she sighed softly. Many doughnuts were lost in the destruction that came from it all. Her father had used the power of the Horsemen and she couldn't get a sense of where or how he was. For that matter, nothing really could at current as she rubbed her chin.
The old man was gone that much was certain as was her brother. Was this the plan all along to destroy their home and make them aimless? She didn't have the answers as she lead them towards a cache of goods that remained. She put a cloak over her frame slowly feeling it slide across her figure. For now, they would have to become shadows till answers provided themselves. They needed to know what was going on in greater detail. But for now, her father had made his choice and the clan would follow it. Following it being a rather subjective term as she glanced at the sky. The Soul King could maybe answer her questions but she wasn't worthy of an audience. And it was rather unlikely they would be asking for help from them. Changes had come about and the Gotei 13 was no longer timid children. The Blades of the Unabara were no longer required for this day and age. As nobles, they'd been trusted with the Stealth Force and the old ways. But the day of the killer seemed to be over from what she could tell. Tsubaki Unabara and her cohorts would simply remain in hiding and come when needed. They weren't going to work within the system anymore. It was interesting how the Unabara had ended up like Kisuke Urahara. Though the circumstances and situations were fundamentally different. Somehow the outcome had been virtually the same as those around her began to disappear. Death's cloak had been activated by most of them and all trace disappeared. For a time, the Unabara would go into hiding and act as an unseen blade. They wouldn't operate within the guidelines of the Gotei 13 any further. But that was the way it had to be for now and it seemed the way her father would want it.
Tsubaki would speak with Ibiki on these matters someday as she looked back. Uniforms and outfits making them out to be members of the organization. Laid torn and battered as they had awoken to them. Her vice captain badge lay upon a piece of rubble. It was made to look like a rockslide had finally happened and most people would believe it. Only the skilled would notice that the mountain had been sliced cleanly off. She didn't buy for a second that it was just a simple rockslide because she remembered the gesture. A finger point to her eye and to everyone else as they fell over. She and her kin had been knocked out by her father. It was up to them to make of it what they would. Each was still loyal as if he'd wanted them dead. They would have been so without any doubt in her mind. She stood looking out over the destruction it wouldn't be long before the Gotei 13 sent someone. The execution platform was gone in an instant and so to the home of those people. She softly laid her hand on her chest glancing outwards. So a dream of being heroes ended and reality of being a killer awoke.

”...Destruction, is this your path tsubasa, is this the choice you made?”
That was all inami had to say as she appeared on the scene, her mismatched eyes gazing upon a scene of pure destruction and desolation. A mountain that was mostly destroyed as if a massive storm had slammed into it. Amidst the rubble and the Annihilated execution ground those eyes of hers seemed to gaze. This was more than about removing one’s home, the queen of demon’s knew it better than anyone. This was her area of expertise after all, brutality destruction, annihilation, and ruin, it came with the territory of being the queen of brutes, the queen of a nation founded on pure strength. This was a message to the soul society if she had ever seen one. A message of removing one’s self, of casting off the ties that had been buried here in this monument, and the queen of demons had exhaled slowly thinking about why tsubasa would destroy the legacy of his clan. That gentle soul, what had twisted him to the point that he had to resort to this level of destruction? The queen didn’t know but deep in her soul she felt something stirring, something that caused an entirely different kind of energy to emit from her being. Not literal energy, but instead it would have been a steady pressure as the queen’s eyes seemed to dull and she took in the landscape with a disinterest that was only marred by the underlying anger that flooded and boiled her veins.
Tsubasa, the gentlest being that she knew. That pacifist had been forced to draw his blade with the intent to kill once more, and thus. The knowledge she had learned all that time ago, the way of the sword he had taught her? Something that had forced that to be thrown out the window wouldn’t be forgiven. Instead the queen of demons had quieted her rage and swallowed it under a different emotion. For now she had to see if there was anyone that was surviving from this destruction, and desolation. Picking her way across the rubble she had seen many dead crushed by the weight of buildings, all the blood.. It haunted her and it brought something else to her expression , those lips which had frowned at the thought that someone would have caused so much pain and suffering to tsubasa that he might snap in such a way? Instead found the mess he left behind hilarious, it was just like the gentle types to go off the fucking deep end when they snapped, or when something provoked them.
The scent of blood in the air was delicious, and that primal demonic side of her couldn’t help but let out a whoop of joy. Infact she let out a giggle slowly as she picked up one of the dead bodies and sniffed it to see how old it was, to gauge how likely it was for there to be any individuals who had survived such an attack, or if it was merely a waste and if she should just go home and call it a wrap. The demon queen was pondering this because she knew that shinigami would swarm her in an instant normally because even if it was who she was? She wasn’t welcomed on shinigami soil , no demon was really “Welcomed” in the soul society anymore, at least in the inner regions of the soul society itself. The problem was, Inami just didn’t care not with the energy from her body just buzzing around her lightly without giving off much of a signature. If someone wanted to come after her they could, however she had come to pay respects to tsubasa, her teacher and in many ways one of the few people she had truly opened up to and considered to be a “friend”.
”..I hope that atleast someone survived, otherwise ill just be burying bodies all afternoon”
The queen of brutes had merely raised her hand and then stopped as she had noticed movement in the rubble. Someone was somehow still alive after all it seemed from this carnage. The queen of chaya would slowly have lowered her hand as the demon energy abated from around her being, then from the shadows it seemed more individuals had begun to come from the shadows, first maybe one or two, but then many more began to come out. Individuals who had gathered stuff from within the compound. Individuals who she reasoned since they hadn’t been killed either belonged to the unabara or had been really damned lucky, either she couldn’t pick however for now? Inami had raised her hand and signaled them to stop as she looked at the first individual she had seen which had come from the rubble, Her expression remained regal, but more . . Friendly than it had been before. The cruelty of her smile, and the wickedness in her gaze simmering rather than boiling over, although her dual pink and black colored hair billowed outwards, the queen had said slowly.
”..I am Inami Asthavon. Queen Of Chaya nation. I came here to see my mentor tsubasa, but it seems he isn’t here and it seems you guys are without a home, so seeing as you all either are people who tried to rob tsubasa or are members of his clan, then i extend an invitation to chaya nation, if you wish to come with me, you can, but first i need to know whats going on.”
Her words had been blunt and to the point, there wasn’t neccisarily anything special about what she said but it would be what would happen afterwards that would be interesting. It would be the demon energy that built up and remained contained in a singular area like a miasma. This “Energy” wouldn’t damage anything however what it would do was it would begin the process of ripping open a portal into demon world proper, a one way portal that would be for leaving and not for entering. This of course would be done partially through her hellishly dark threads , which would expand and stitch together the foundation between demon world and the soul society, barring any demons from coming through while giving them a comfortable manner of passage between the two realms. This was the level of power that the demoness had, she could instead of merely teleporting, construct pathways between dimensions through the interweaving of threads. Which would by why for now as the energy crackled, something else would occur.
Several barriers would be constructed throughout the passage, each one filtering out the miasma from demon world, in a manner that would make it possible for none of the corrupting effects of demon worlds energy to permeate into the soul society. The only reason the demoness would do this would be because she still had people that she enjoyed in the soul society. She didn’t see any point in opening a permanent connection, but for having large amounts of people traveling from one point to another, this was merely the easiest route, as instead of utilizing the dangai or some other dimensional gate that the shinigami possessed this would allow her and the unabara’s to leave without much of a problem, beyond this it also meant they could converse as they went along, instead of merely’ vanishing without a trace. That was the intention, because she wanted to get to know these individuals rather than wanting to simply taking them with her, if that’s what they chose to do. However for now? Inami would construct doors made of her threads and solidify them to the ground. These “Doors” would shut the portal for now until she decided to open it. However right now?
Inami was curious as to why the entire resident hadn’t been completely sheared off, knowing tsubasa he would have destroyed the entire thing outright without much problem so. Right now she would sit down on a pile of rubble and wait for either questions or an answer from the group in front of her. As well as atleast for now, she was searching for the reason that the entire estate wasn’t just a flat line scored across the mountain, given this was tsubasa she was talking about. It wouldn’t be that hard for him to seriously wreck the radius around them, however for now? Inami had merely stretched out, opening a curious new object in her attire, which was an umbrella that was made out of a mixture of demon energy, dark energy, hellishly dark threads, and hellfire , all combined into a solidified state.
Now all that was left was to see where this dandy meeting would take her.

I'm being serious here!
Captain of Stealth Corps
~K~u~r~o~O~k~a~m~i~
Someone tripped the alarm… Kuro thought to himself, looking over the shadow that was high in the air. ...He shouldn't be there… I'm supposed to investigate it… The Shadow Captain thought to himself as he flitted between the shadows, moving far faster that a normal Shinigami would, his body finally shooting out of the ground as he rose high up into the air, the shadows dripping like liquid from his body as the Captain emerged high in the sky, stopping at last as he turned his head forwards.
...Tsubasa… Unabara… he should know better… Kuro thought to himself, looking at the one who was this high in the air. Kuro himself was silent, merely looking at Tsubasa. His curiosity was piqued by the person next to Tsubasa, but was not the most important part. Far more important… was the fact that Tsubasa's blade was drawn, and he was looking right at Kuro. Silently, Kuro turned his head to the side, looking at the execution platform behind him. Holy shit… is he really trying…? IDIOT… GET OUT OF HERE! YOU CAN'T STOP THAT!
Kuro merely blinked, before looking back at Tsubasa. "...I can't… just let you do that…" Kuro said softly, his eyes looking uncertain. Kuro's body slowly began to twitch, shadows forming all around him as Tsubasa hefted up his blade, before slashing outwards.
Kuro's eyes opened wide, before the Shadows around his body surged into his muscles. Shunpo…! His mind barely processed the necessary invocation as the black lightning coursed around his arms and legs, his twin swords appearing in his hands as four other blades appeared in his hands. Gripping each of them between his fingers, the Shadow Captain crossed the weapons in front of his body, the shadow force of his Bankai exuding outwards as all around the area, shadows turned to gray, as if they had 'lost' something.
Kuro's body twitched, his teeth clenched as he finally surged forwards, Piero's disturbed energies pushing through as Kuro's body became adorned with a white mantle, a masquerade mask appearing around his eyes. "You.. Should not do this…" Kuro said, even though one of his blades had nearly broken, and his panting had grown heavy.
"Nice form… but we've got to cut out now. Farewell, Captain Kuro!"
Kuro's eyes widened at this words, before seeing the power of the next incoming slash. His eyes widened further as the impact of the blow smashed into his body, his shadows forcing themselves to the max as he held the blow back, keeping his ground… even as the front of his mantle became shredded, a large line beginning to appear around his body. Oh… no… I can't… stop it…! Kuro thought, his eyes wide as his arms folded back around his body, the blades curving inwards as Kuro gave one final push…
But was overwhelmed.
The world seemed to pass by quickly after that. A gigantic pain in his chest caused a red blossoming all along his torso, covering his captain's Haori with crimson as the blow sent him flying… before he felt the force of earth at his back. DAMNIT BOY! His spirit cried out in desperation… even as Kuro's consciousness began to fade, still being crashed and dashed across the earth. His left arm shot out around him, expanding tremendously as Kuro's shadow shunpo finally faded, his body tipping backwards as the slash finally went past him, his consciousness gone as a massive wound appeared along that peculiar arm of his…
"Kuro? Are you awake?"
The male blinked, unsure of what was happening.. He was in a room. A small, unassuming room. There was a bottle of instant pancake mix on a small stove, the traditional Japanese style used for the walls and ceiling. His body seemed to be in perfect condition, and someone's hand was on his forehead. Slowly, his eyes trailed over to them… but he could not make out their face. "Oh, I'm so glad… I get so worried when you do these dangerous things… but you have to come back to me, do you understand…? After all… that's what this is for, isn't it…?"
The hand slowly drew back, and Kuro's eyes widened. From the index finger of the person's hand… a strange void had emerged. That shadowy void pushed outwards, slowly consuming the entirety of the individual's arm. "N...no…!" Kuro exclaimed, tears appearing on the edge of his vision, completely unbidden. He did not know what was happening, the void extending as it now began to consume his body. "NO!" He shouted in defiance, though it continued to consume him completely…
"...up! Wake UP, YOU DISABLED MORON!"
A hand smacked across Kuro's face… and the entirety of it hurt. He blinked, suddenly alert. "What happened…?" He asked, trying to move.. But feeling that he was completely covered by rubble. "The sleeping idiot-prince FINALLY wakes up! Hell, did you even REALIZE how STUPID that was?" His spirit asked him through his mouth, causing Kuro's eyes to gently close once again. …but… I guess I can't die yet… after all, the new Gotei… needs me… to watch over it…… to make sure…
Kuro was suddenly jarred awake, his left arm pushing against the rubble… but a sharp pain caused for him to stop. His breath caught, before… "Aa...graah…." The pressure he had put on it caused the wound to burst, blood gushing along his large appendage. "...damn I'm stupid…" Kuro muttered to himself, before gently laying back against the ground once again. No light… no light at all… ah well… His eyes closed completely… before the ground itself seemed to consume him, the shadows reclaiming their master…
The body of Kuro Okami slowly began to appear out of the nearest shadow: that of Tsubaki Unabara. Perhaps it was fate that hers was the one which he extended out of… but to him, it was just something that felt familiar. So… he had gone with it.
What came out of the ground would likely shock those present. The amount of blood pouring out of his arm, and the size of the wound in his chest… both were far beyond what a normal person would be able to survive from. Most people would have fallen to the pain, long before. His six blades appeared around his body, as if keeping a kind of 'barrier' around his body. His right arm reached forwards, pushing into the ground as he coughed. Blood dripped from between his teeth, falling down his teeth. The taste of iron awoke him, feeling his black arm extending as it wrapped around his torso, trying to slow the blood loss with a gigantic 'bandage'.
"Tsu...baki…" Kuro got out, before coughing again. Damn, this hurts…! Within him, Piero looked on disapprovingly. At last, the Laughing Gray relented, as chaotic energies shifted around Kuro's lungs, causing his blood to circulate properly instead of going out of him as it should. Damn is right…
Kuro rose on unsteady feet, his right hand gripping onto one of the blades as he breathed hard. He was dishelved, his white mantle destroyed and his Haori in pieces, half of his bloody torso showing. His flesh was pale as a ghost, and his raggedy panting was far louder than he would have liked normally.
"haa.. Haaaa…. Aahhha.." Kuro grit his teeth, finally tilting his head up towards the sky as he continued to pant. "...Are you leaving…?" He asked the people around him, his cracked mask falling onto the ground. He understood to some extent what was happening… or rather, Piero figured out what was happening, and shared it with Kuro.
"...there's…….a demon…." That was Kuro's second thought, as… something changed. Where there was before only a miserable boy covered in pain… the presence shifted. Even beaten, battered, and critically injured… Kuro released a killing intent which could be felt for half a mile. His right hand slowly gripped around one of his blades, clumsily pulling it out of the ground as his black sandals clacked against the ground.
Stumbling about, the male finally hefted up the blade, one armed and unable to defend himself at this point. The pain in my legs… He was silent for a moment, looking at the woman. "… Demons… It's always... Fucking... demons. Why can't you leave us alone...? Why can't you stay in your own… fucking... house? Why can't you just… keep out of our affairs? Did you never learn… to keep… your hands… to yourselves…?" The shadows of the rubble began to flood outwards, surges and splinters of its presence coming over to Kuro as he felt… something. His emotions were beginning to spiral out of control, his rage overflowing as he began to feel himself becoming lost in that primal instinct...
That single word shot through his mind, his right hand coming back as it crashed against his forehead, the hilt of his blade creating a large bruise. "NO, PIERO! THIS IS MY BODY!" With that exclamation, Kuro's form fell forwards, the sword clattering on the ground as his eyes unfocused, his mouth opening wide as hematetis overcame him. Bloody bile surged onto the ground, along with fragments of some black substance.
Kuro looked at the ground, dazed. He was in no shape to do much else, and if much more time passed, he would fall completely unconscious, until someone found him...
Who should I pray to... to straighten out this... Crooked Tongue?
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

She watched the distance for a moment before she reached a hand towards some rubble. Slowly it came into her body as the reishi of the structure was eaten whole. Her eyes widened as she saw the shackles laying on the ground. Those were Muramasa's shackles her father's other child. Muramasa was like her but they were fundamentally different. She was a normal person who had developed into an independent woman. Muramasa was the Unabara Weapon project designed to the be the ultimate weapon of war. Him not being here in the rubble meant a war would start. But who did her father have a bone to pick with? What pushed him to go to war as she ran a hand through her messy hair. Frowning as she straightened it a bit before seeing the figure arrive. Her eyes caught the sign of the hand waving as she calmly evaluated the female. Inami the second pupil he taught the way of things. Her name was stored in the databanks so it was easy to pull information on her. But she didn't really need to do so considering her father had told her about her. Just as Inami asked the question of what was going on her gaze shifted seeing the man emerge from the shadow. It was the Shadow Captain Kuro her eyes met his for a moment. She studied it closely the expression and the injury. This wasn't a killing blow and she could easily mend this injury. He knew it too so was that why he swung with more power? She shook her head questions would wait for now. " Let me mend him real quick and I will explain for both of you.I suspect father took Muramasa with him." She said feeling a cold feeling on her skin. She had taken the reishi before and injected it inside of the male's body now. The particles were easy to control as she reconstructed the damaged tissue effectively. She went to go to the arm and noticed the injury appearing on her arm and stopped within a mil-second. She backed up a bit as she spoke firmly having finished her job healing him. Her own body had been fine as were most her father protected.
"Alright first no fighting with his student Kuro she came here to get council and did try to help us. As for leaving it's most likely the case that we are as our services are no longer needed. Though I think we should be an unseen blade in the darkness. The new Gotei 13 is soft and I think he knew it...Father took Muramasa with him, you saw it right Captain Kuro?" She paused looking at him for acknowledgement of a second person. She knew those shackles would come off and the only reason they were. Meant a battle of proportions unlike anything that could be fathomed were about to come. Muramasa was a ruthless killer who only was only matched by history's worst people. "We always kept Muramasa locked up due to his nature being dangerous. It was far too dangerous to even put him in the Maggots Nest. His shackles lay removed along with whatever suppressor he had. " She pointed to the shackles on the ground where she'd discovered them laying. " Papa intends to go to war with someone or something. Muramasa being freed means a bloodbath is coming. Masamune is the Blade of Peace, whereas his brother is the Blade of War. I have seen father spar with both of them at the same time. Muramasa has the eyes of a killer. Someone who will fight over and over without end till the bodies pile as high as the skies. He was designed to be the ultimate weapon for our clan by Papa. Muramasa was an insurance policy Papa told me before. " She paused as she turned a bit to look at the Seireitei. She sighed softly and shook her head as she looked on. "I guess the day final came and not one of us was prepared for the burden to come. Or maybe he hopes to carry it alone without help from us. You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a villain. I believe that's what he used to say around Tetsuya often enough. So I am guessing that father isn't content with the Gotei 13's direction as he senses they will fall further and further."
She said giving her opinion on the matter as she walked over picking up her old Lieutenant's badge. She dusted it off and smiled faintly her old Captain was going to be unhappy with this. But it seemed the Unabara's time here was at an end. And the next time it was hard to say if they would be friends or foes. "Ibiki Suika is likely the best one to explain my father if any of them. She's always had a good understanding of him and his nature. Though I think the Gotei 13 and everything it is has moved away from my father. Once he was a pillar of strength here in this world. We were tasked with showing people the way to unlocking the inner strength. But in the end, we are discarded to the side once again. I wonder who he will let Muramasa loose against this time." She walked over to Kuro taking the other arm softly and putting her badge in it. "I guess in the end our service will be forgotten here. The pillars that once stood will vanish with the passage of time. I am going to leave and seek out my father I want to help him bear this burden. As his daughter, I can't let him go half-cocked into a war without me present. Who knows maybe I can convince him to sheath his blade again. That's all I have figured out at this point anything else is conjecture really." She said finishing finally speaking to the two people as she put her Zanpakutō's loop over her head. She smiled somewhat as she thought about the fact he suffered much greater than she did. Her eyes looked back at her home letting a huffing sound out slowly. She stretched her arms a bit as she walked off towards the direction the others had begun disappearing too. She paused for a moment as she looked back at Captain Kuro. "I won't tell you not to report this as I don't know his intention. It could be a battle to wake the Gotei 13 from its childish slumber. I wonder how Iriko-san would react to this all if he were here?"
She could only imagine the former Captain lecturing her father began laughing for a moment. " Anyways it was a fun place to live I guess I'll see you around the doughnut hour Captain Kuro-kun." She glanced at the woman Queen of the demons now. Her orbs looking at the female for a moment as she stared at her."You know Papa, as well as I, do at most now I can roughly guess his intentions are far from kind since he took him along. Had it been Masamune it wouldn't have been so bad. Anyways I thank you for your kind concern, your majesty."

”Lets get something straight, i don’t know why he has drawn his sword but, i know that you alone will not be enough to stop him. That sword had been sealed because he wished it, and i thought that the heavens and the earth themselves couldn’t make him draw it again with the intent to kill. Now that he has been forced, there will be blood. It’s not an avoidable sitaution, it’s an inevitability Tsubaki.”
Inami’s voice was clear as it cut through the rubble and the crumbling infrastructure of the unabara’s old estate. The execution ground of the gotei crumbling with a dull roar, debri falling all around them as the queen merely stood there. Her gaze shifting from tsubaki towards the man who had blocked and kept this execution ground from becoming a mere clean slice, her expression remaining bland before a soft smile seemed to perk up on her features. Maybe it was that Inami found this to be amusing, the thought that someone would try to block tsubasa’s slash outright when he had the intent to destroy was rather. . Ludicrous in it’s own right. This was coming from someone who of course had seen tsubasa at the very pinnacle of his power, and seen the true damage that he could inflict if he wanted to. So yes she softly let out a demented laugh in the case of kuro’s situation.
Next though she would listen to the one known as tsubaki. Her pink gaze lingering on the ruined landscape around her. She absorbed first the knowledge about the one known as murmasa, and the one known as masamune. Filing away their purposes and more importantly what their uses had been. Now the thought that Tsubasa would take such a destructive creature with him worried her, and she knew then she had no choice. To protect the teachings of her late mentor she would crush tsubasa if need be, head him off before he did something truly stupid, as that was what friends did for one another, stopped them from being dumb, stopped them from making decisions that would ultimately lead to them losing their life, or reputation. As such the queen of chaya nation would slowly have shaken her head and spoke then to tsubaki, not as a queen to a person but as a person to a person who shared her concerns.
”I will be joining you in the search for tsubasa.”
With that statement she had deliberated if she was going to nudge kuro with her foot to see if he really was still alive, however elected not too, seeing as it was considered in many culture’s rude to desecrate a corpse. So she didn’t do it, however the demon queen had shifted and begun to move her attention back to tsubaki. Raising a single brow at her usage of the term “Majesty” and in return let out an unladylike snort. Even if she was a queen she wasn’t here on royal capacity, instead she was here to meet a friend and a mentor, or atleast was. So all those formalities? They flew right out the window with her decency and sense of regality. ..
“Second.. Don’t think just because im royalty you have to treat me as such, i am still just a friend of ur fathers aswell.”

I'm being serious here!
Captain of Stealth Corps
~K~u~r~o~O~k~a~m~i~
Kuro's eyes widened as the foreign energy slid into and along his body, before a stabbing pain ripped through his chest, knocking him off of his feet and onto the ground, an expression of shock and pain on his face from the Unstable Energy's reaction to her healing him. While the healing was successful, it was not allowed to be a pleasant experience. It was painful, and it hurt. It hurt because of the chaos in Kuro's heart, and the lack of control that he was experiencing.
"...If you wanted… to tell me that…" He choked out, his right hand digging into the dirt as he forced his body upwards. "You shouldn't've… tossed away…. That badge…!" Kuro choked out, returning to his feet once more, his arm laying limp at his side now as the one that still was together gripped onto his sword. Kuro was still breathing hard, and the pain was now nonstop in his chest. "Yeah… there was someone else… his killing intent… I thought it was Tsubasa's…" Kuro let out, before finally steadying himself again.
It was not Kuro's place to question whether or not the Gotei was doing the right thing. To him… this was his home. It was his home, and he would fight for it. He would always fight for it. That was his simple truth. It was the only truth he had, and the only one he would fight for.
"...He'd probably… be really sad…" Was all that Kuro said, when she mentioned how Iriko would react to all of this. "He always just… wanted to unify us…" He said, before blinking as she said he would see her around.
"No one forced him to….. Ugh…" Kuro was finally reaching his physical limit, his eyes bugging out of his head as he took deep breaths. Physically, there was no longer anything wrong with him, but mentally he was absolutely exhausted. "Just… get out of here…" He said, his body falling forwards as his eyes closed, landing with a thud on the ground…
Sleeping. Sleeping his days away. Laying there upon the ground, his small chest going up and down. The warmth of a bed enveloped him, and for some reason it felt as if his arms were wrapped another form. And while asleep… he did not question it. Even if the thing that he was holding was a corpse…
It was all he could cling to, in that peculiar hallucination known as dreams…
Who should I pray to... to straighten out this... Crooked Tongue?
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.
