THE EMPTY YUUDESHI
KAKINE YUUDESHI
何もないのキング
何もないのキング
The Seireitei took a deep breath, the compounds within aching as the dark twilight of the Soul Society casting over its buildings. Kakine Yuudeshi looked to the sky, the light slowly cascading towards the horizon in order to escape the day's time, pushing its way to the next morning. The night fully set in as the Vizard male turned his body towards a large table that resided in the main room he stood within. Damien Crow was meant to be here relatively soon, the Captain Commander coming to meet the Right Hand in order to start a meeting of minds.
The Meeting that would soon initiate would be of each captain or highest ranking member of each division. There were seven divisions now due to the reformation of their groups, each one of them having a new captain or members under their ranks. Each one of those would be expected to arrive to the meeting and to listen to Damien and, possibly, Kakine. He wasn't planning on making his own two cents present but if need be, he would speak aloud. He simply wanted to make it clear that the Zero Division were to be respected once again, a group within the Gotei that would soon debut in the future once more.
Taking a single look towards the sky, Kakine brought his hand up as a blast of energy escaped from his hand. The energy was near invisible, a colorless substance jolting its way to the dark sky above the Seireitei. In a matter of moments, it exploded into a ray of bright light, lighting the surface of the roofs among the scattered buildings of the Gotei. The light dissipated revealing a woman, her figure being amplified due to it being a simple hologram. To Kakine, she was know as Benkei, to others she was entirely unknown. Without a moment's notice, the loose haired woman giggled and smiled at those below. Shifting her stance, the woman spoke aloud.
"Well then. Kakine Yuudeshi, Leader of Zero Division alongside Damien Crow are requesting the presence of all captains currently enlisted with the Reformed Gotei. Please, make your way to the building adjacent from the Command Post and take a seat in the large room located in the back. Don't be late~."
With the last words escaping her mouth, Benkei winked at the Shinigami below and thus disappeared. It was instant, the light fading from the night sky once more as Kakine kicked at the hard oak beneath him. The Gotei had just recently came through with their reworkings of their system, trying their best to get others moving forward. The Captains were the first step in getting the Gotei back to their former greatness. They were to be the sheep that Damien Crow and Kakine Yuudeshi sheperd forward in order to bring the Gotei into play with those that were meant to help the world. It seemed that they had stepped away from this aspect of their people, so Kakine and Damien would once again make it a focus.
Turning back to the table, the Yuudeshi flopped in the chair beside the Captain Commanders, bringing his hand to his chest as the same tendril like energy oozed from his finger tips. The energy this time formed into a small hand that danced its way to his shoulders, kneading and pushing as the knots that sat within his shoulders. The stress of the Gotei was far greater than Kakine thought it would be, given the Yuudeshi were usually self sufficient in their own aspects as a people. With the new position he had undertaken came many, many piles of paperwork. The Zero Division weren't going to be mysterious and elusive any longer, their uselessness has grown far too strong in recent years. With that came Kakine's constant push for finding members to join him and movements to be made in order to make their role importance once again.
Taking a final look at the large window to the left a final time, the Vizard smiled and closed his eyes once more.
"Well, it seems like shit has to be taken care of now, huh Benkei? Sure wasn't expecting an asshole like me somewhere like here..."

THE MENACING DEVIL GIRL
Too.
Much.
LIGHT!
Much.
LIGHT!
Holy crap on a stick, you'd think they were celebrating the fourth of July with how bright the skies became above the former division eleven barracks. Just when Miss Suika Ibiki was about to get nice and snug in her liquor induced sleep -- MEETING! C'mon. This blew big time. They could have at least had some sort of warning so she could prepare her bummy-rum for this sort of thing.
Fine. If they wanted an on-the-spot meeting -- they'd get on the spot results! Under grumbles and mumbles, The Oni Shinigami pulled herself out of her birthday suit and strapped on numerous bandages across her chest. After that, she slipped on some white bloomers and threw on a black kimono with the Gotei Reformed's emblem engraved in white on the back.
"Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh~"
With an audible whine, The Devil Girl threw a pair of black shades on her face and fastened a belt with many chains and shapes attached to it across her waist. After adorning herself in some semi-decent clothing, Miss Ibuki felt that she was more than ready to come in the meeting. So, like a wrecking ball, she hurled herself across the numerous barracks of The Gotei Reformed until she came crashing through the window and straight into the table with a loud THUD.
However -- she was good with improvising! So, as Kakine most likely gathered himself together during this time, he'd witness The Oni Shinigami laying peacefully on the table with her hands behind her bed and using the meeting table as her personal bed. Then, with a swig of her purple gourd, The Suika Child would feel her alcoholic elixir kick in and become filled with life, light and the warm beautiful glow of a good buzz.
And -- WITH THIS GREAT ENERGY -- she'd use it to roll over on her sides. THEN -- flick Kakine across the nose with a drunken snicker. As her face turned beat red, The Suika Child pouted and wagged her finger at him:
"Calling a meeting this late and without warning? Shame on you, Mr.Vizard Yuudeshi. Heheheheehe~"
She'd turn on her stomach, stick her behind face Kakine and poke his face with her foot before crawling like a slug into her chair. Once there, The Menacing Drunk would place those lovely black shades across her face and wave gingerly towards Mr.Big-Hotshot!
Things were moving so fast in the Gotei these days that there wasn't a chance to catch-up. In two blinks of the eye, the thirteen divisions were seven, many people vanished, her former VC was the new Captain Commander and apparently someone from the outside world was the right hand of the Soul King and trying to have the Zero Division come back.
Change -- change was everywhere! She just wasn't sure if she was for it or against it. So, there was only one thing she could do -- relax, drink and observe! Thus, she'd take another glass of her spiritual liquor, let out a content sigh and utter these joyful words back at The Yuudeshi
"Mmmm, I can't wait to see the other new Captains, Mr.Kakine~ Hic."
Then, with a slight hiccup, Miss Ibiki would rest her hand on the table and snicker wildly to herself as she nuzzled her head against the table and awaited for this dog and pony show begin.

Artist: Poets Of The fall - Song: Carnival of Rust - Word Count: 615
The young boy moved his black marble horse figurine to topple the white's queen, his golden eyes scanning the checkered board he looked at the man and smiled, "Check mate." He proclaimed, looking at how his rooks and queen had his king boxed into three rows and in the fourth the only place he could move to due to how his bishops were positioned left him moving right to his knight's killing field. The old man scowled before sighing and letting out a laugh, Carter didn't know the man but he loved chess and often found himself looking for opponents who weren't too busy playing monjon. The small captain stood up and adjusted his Zanpakutō while a hell butterfly found its way onto his shoulders, he listened quietly to the message before nodding, "Sorry, impromptu meeting has sprung up, I'll have to decline that drink. Let me buy your first round though for playing a good match with me." He said, his right hand digging into his pocket and producing the cash to get this man drunk for the night before he vanished, shunpoing toward the commanders meeting hall.
There was no reason to act with so much haste but given everything lately that had befallen he was on edge, his left hand sliding over his robes, where a scar rested on his chest underneath. As he hustled to the meeting hall his mind played back the battle he had against Manna, well the ass kicking. She had appeared in this realm without any notice, kicked his ass and moved on but if she wanted to she could have destroyed the entire soul society in the Gotei's weakened state.
Clearing the dark thoughts from his mind his feet touched the polished marble ground outside of the meeting hall and he sighed before adjusting his captain robes. He could only sense two presences in the hall so he was far from the last to arrive. The door opened and he found his way inside, walking over to the captain of the former eleventh squad, the two appearing to be children in the wrong place. he hadn't shared many conversations with her but he knew she liked a hard drink and was an excellent hand to hand fighter and he figured he'd take the time to ask for a few pointers while waiting for everyone else.
" I don't think we've met but I'm Carter Zenaki, captain of Internal Affairs. I've heard a good deal about your hand to hand combat prowess and was hoping one day we could train." His right hand coming out in a gesture of friendship before he scolded himself inwardly for ignoring the other person here, the newly elected Right Hand. Blood rushed to his face in embarrassment as he turned before the tipsy girl could respond and he bowed stiffly to the Right Hand and reintroduced himself, "Carter Zenaki, Captain of Internal Affairs, please forgive my crass behavior." With it finished he stood up again and actually managed to take this man in a bit before he realized why he felt familiar. Vizard. He had the same type of pressure as hi best friend Landen and because of it he knew before the man said it that he was a Vizard.
Carter though, he was odd and gave off no spirit pressure so if the two sent out a probe on him they would think a pulse had managed to stumble in wearing a captain's robe. That was one of his angelic properties, no noticeable spirit pressure.

In the early ours the Genji household was busy. Silent in most things they did, the 3 servants made the morning preparations along with the masters of the house. The youngest of them all would make the beds while the slightly older kids would see to fetching wood, opening windows and retrieving the morning paper and milk from the front door. The adults had their own agenda, the matrons of the house and the servants would see to the preparations of the morning meal as well as getting the bath water ready. After the morning choirs the family would be able to wash the filth of the night.
Takiya, the supposed head of the household awoke before all this would happen. In the earliest of hours he would be gazing into the night sky. In the far distance the celebration of a single soul could be heard. Yes, things were better. Takiya's green eyes tracked the night sky as a slender woman disturbed the slumber and silence of all the captains. For a moment his right hands had swayed towards his left but after realizing what the woman was (a message) his hands had returned to their sides.
A meeting for all captains. There was no captain in his division. The diplomatic division had lost their captain in the recent war. It had been Takiya who had taken the jobs and responsibilities and saw to the well being of the whittled division. With no captain it would be his duty to attend this meeting. In silence he returned to his room to dress himself. White undergarments, black Gi and Hakama, His Zanpakutō on his let side and finally the golden Lieutenants badge on his left arm.
As the household of the Genji family began to wake up he would leave for the meeting place. Soon he would find himself outside the ajar wooden doors. With one two knocks, he would enter, his blue-ish green eyes looking blind as ever. He would do a formal bow 35 degrees and as he did the black hair piece shifted and returned as so did he.
"Serizawa Genji, Lieutenant of the Diplomatic division attends the meeting on behalf of the Captain."
Inside were 3 monsters in their own right. All were (if he remembered correctly) younger than he was, but already had the mantle of captain and some even more. Takiya walked over towards the designated seat for his division and stood behind it. He did not have the right to sit there. He had not achieved it.

I'm being serious here!
Captain of Stealth
~K~u~r~o~O~k~a~m~i~
One Captain sat in his office, staring blankly at his table. "…" The male was silent, still. The night had come, and soon he would be about to go on patrol. Black cloak, white haori… white hair, black star-shaped scar… peculiar black arm, normal white arm… an empty look in his eyes, and no presence at all from his body… it was if, in his heart, he had truly become a shadow of someone else…
Already, his shadows had spread throughout the Gotei, monitoring hundreds of movements and feeling as the shadows shifted and changed. "…" Something soon disturbed him, however, as a shadow appeared with an angle that meant that someone was in the air.
"… haha…" The captain gently laughed, laughed at the silliness of the one standing in the air. He had no idea what they were saying, but it would not take long for one of his division members to report back. "If they want me there, I guess I don't got a choice…" The male spoke after the messenger vanished, his body standing up. Looking forwards without any kind of dramatic movement whatsoever, Kuro Okami fell backwards, his eyes looking up at the ceiling as he… smashed into the floor.
"O...OOOooow!" He let out, gripping his head. "Atatata…" His teeth were clenched as he slowly breathed, standing back up again. "Right… I wasn't… thinking about… atata owwww…" Kuro then threw himself backwards, and this time fell straight downwards, going down below the floor as his body was absorbed into the darkness… after all, the room he was in had no light whatsoever…
Kuro was just beginning to walk through the shadows that had been created from the window's presence, just behind it, the Shadow Captain slowly stepping forwards out the darkness… before the window exploded behind him with a loud 'CRASH'. Kuro barely had the time to turn around before he was rudely smashed away, his body sent flying and tumbling through the air before finally crashing into the roof, his world losing consciousness for a moment before slowly coming back to life.
Kuro looked at his place in the roof, and after a few moments… decided that this was fine. It let him lay down, and let him be a part of the meeting, or as much a part as he wanted to. "Kuro Okami… reporting in… for Stealth…" The boy-sized Captain reported, his eyes trailing around the place. There was the one who had caused his dramatic flight, Ibiki Suika. On the other side was someone Kuro did not recognize. His eyes slowly narrowed, and for an instant a killing intent without any hope… or fear… permeated outwards from his body. However, after hearing what Ibiki said, that silent presence vanished as quickly as it emerged, Kuro's features relaxing completely once again as he slowly rolled onto his back, his head lowering as it stuck out from the ceiling and watched the procedures.
"Huh… Zero Division… you guys are noisy when you run around… always setting off my alarms… You're lucky I double check…" That was all Kuro said, although the manner in which he expressed it was lighthearted. There was not a hint of aggression or any other emotion, really, within the male's pitch. It was empty, as empty as the gaze which now looked to Kakine as Kuro awaited whatever fate he was now attached to.
The other two that had appeared did not get much of Kuro's attention. Something about the pretty boy reminded him of Tsubasa, in a way. Oh come ON, Kuro! Just look at his face! Is that EYELINER? WAHA HAHAHA HAH!!! The Laughing Gray, Piero released a huge raucous laughter inside of Kuro's head, and it did actually cause a small smile to appear on Kuro's lips, though his heart was not within it.
Then there was the last man who had appeared, the Lieutenant of the Diplomatic Division. "…" Kuro slowly reached out his right hand, the shadows of the night outside the building slowly bleeding in as a chair slowly began to appear behind the male, a wicker chair that was perfectly presentable, though it was black as ebony. ...I remember… being a lieutenant… it sucks… have a chair… you deserve it… That was the last thing that Kuro thought, and the only definitive thought he had had since arriving other than the part about the Zero Division...
Other than one more thing.
I should have brought pancakes... The male thought to himself, a tiny scowl crossing his face.
Pancake Meet & Greet? No?
Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

A captain's job was never done. Zen was getting ready to begin going through some of the new paperwork that he had gotten today. The new Kido Corps captain was dressed sharply as ever, even during the night. Pressed, long sleeve white shirt. Smooth, ironed, black pants. Polished, black dress shoes, though he wasnt wearing those right now, gotta keep those floors clean.
He stood as he made a kettle of green tea. While always pleasant, long, paperwork filled nights were always a bit chilly in the Seretei. As the kettle hissed and whistled he heard the announcement. All captains were going to have a meeting. It felt strange, yet familiar. IT had been so long since he was last called to any captain business, we he used to be the 3rd chair of a squad until recently, but with no captain he was the acting captain.
He was obviously needed there quickly, but he didnt want the tea to go to waste. He sighed as he picked up a bamboo tray and put the kettle on it. He used a bit of sound waves to cool it off as to not scorch the tray. He grabbed a few cups an placed the on the tray, in case others wanted some tea.
He made it rather quickly to the entrance of the meeting room, he was quite fast, but he didnt shunpo into the room. That would be rude. As he walked in through the doors he was slightly surprised it was a little bit...... circus like. The window was broken, a man was laughing, other seemed upset, Kakine seemed as empty as ever. He looked around and recognized pretty much everyone. When his eyes fell on Ibiki they lingered a while. Good grief they made the former captain of the 11th squad a bigger captain now. Well that would explain the broken window.
Zen wasn't dressed in the more traditional clothes that others were wearing, so he stuck out a bit. He sat down at his specified chair which was next to....... Ibiki. The Kido using squads and the physical combat squads were never really.... the best of friends you could say. He let out a small groan as he made it over to his seat and placed down his tea kettle and cups. It was going to be a long meeting.

THE LOST LEADER
DAMIEN CROW
ブラックキング
ブラックキング
The lingering noise never seemed to cease, light never faded and sleep seemed to be near impossible in this place. His eyes stared at the white encompassing fate, "People are just like walls", the daunting reality was that he didn't know if he was a wall that would hold the foundation for those he considered his family. The man didn't know weather he was just broken and crumbling or trying to simply retain what he was, it all seemed to impetuous to question sometimes ... one that touching on was all to depressing to wonder.
The voices trailed in of meetings and captains moving but all Damien did was sit upon that bed staring at this white washed wall. So many others had taken this mantle to only end up walking down a starved path, how could one walk the same road. His hand ran over his missing limb, a 1 armed man at the helm of a massive organisation and trying to protect those around him? not even he believed in himself. the eyes that lingered however were nothing but on the scars of past transgressions, he had to be strong enough he had to be there leader, cause he wouldn't let them fall. It was the mettle of the men beside him that drove him, captains and members alike made this place home for them and they all strove for something bigger ... they would achieve it.
His arm reached down fingers clasping onto a half empty bottle of what seemed to be bourbon by its label .. though by its stench was just pure ethanol bottled. He was born on drink and lived by it like some lived by the sword, it was surprising he hadn't died of alcohol poisoning yet. He took a swig of it some pouring over his mouth to his scruffy small patches of beard as he gulped it down, missing only small droplets that spilled over dropping from beard to torso coating him in the smell of liquor. and as he finished it he lay back a second sighing as he realized that truly he should take his leave.
The only thing keeping him from crawling away however was the hand now trailing across his bare chest as he turned seeing the exposed woman who lay beside him. His sight trailed over her before smiling a little, the simple pleasures were always good. but with a sigh he rose up collecting his pants struggling to get them on jumping in place as he tried to fit his legs into them. He collected his Zanpakutō before looking back once more to the woman a shake of his head as he exited her small abode. The gotei reformed was different to as he remembered he'd been to this house so many times back when he and his consort here were both apart of the 11th but now he didn't know where he was.. be it the lay of the land escaping him ... or just losing site of his home a little now it was changing, he could only hope the change was for the better.
"well isn't it nice to see everyone getting well acquainted. "
his arm stretched out a new bottle in hand as he entered these walls. Still lacking half his clothes and reeking the nights endeavors he joined them where he had taken this bottle from ... who the fuck knew with Damien. His joyous grin presented itself as he walked in looking over the structure of the building giving a sort of low whistle, it was no central 46 chambers but it would serve their purpose well enough. It was relieving to see that all the revisions had made their presence here known and all had shown up. Many would know this man he was one of the longest serving captains here perhaps the longest...and oldest at that, even compared to ibiki who he had become the vice captain to whilst in his complacency.
But everything about the man didn't even allow the ideal to sink in that he was their new Captain commander. He was brash, loud, happy, a drunkard... and even his power was so low it made question of how he got here, compared to his predecessors he was their polar opposite. His drink swashed to the back of his throat a the shirtless male walked forth looking over his comrades as he came to sit upon his brand new chair next to kakine, he knew of the man and the strength and resolve backing him it was just the question of how he fared as the man heading a table of a family like this ... a family Damien had truly come to love.
"I'm Damien, some of you know me some may not. its good to see everyone here, guess we can start then? also Ibiki ... that's coming out of your pay ... don't damage my home unless your willing to piece it back with your own hands."
His stark greeting seemed only to be callously dismissed as he approached the topic of ibiki he raised no power no attention was needed to be drawn for he already commanded it with his words and if they were ignored it would be not be a stupid attempt of making fear breed ...his words were clear and if she didn't listen he would give her no qualm, simply he conveyed the words as they were... a warning, his stark prescience shifting in tone as he gave it. Each word waited not for her reply almost less of a threat more of a promise followed by a sway of dismal proportion, it was no question no room for explanation ...it was a parent telling his child "don't"
his body rose up as he sat with in his chair his hand placing his bottle upon the table before him as his smile returned contorting his face once more. He thought to the days of the past some of the men he once sat here with were legends and soon he could see every person at this table taking such a mantle in the future... what an interesting ride it would be. his eyes focused ahead as he cleared his throat a little, rubbing his hand through his crimson hair as he spoke once more.
"allow me to establish a simple few rules, powers of certain nature and deadly intent will not be tolerated, we are a family here and i expect you all to state your mind but please shouting at a problem can never resolve it. that's about it though anything you all wish to state or ideals for further endeavors, questions please state them. Anything you wish to add right hand?"
His eyes turned to Kakine awaiting the man to begin but soon they were taken, drawn by his peripheral vision, a sight that made him turn with a bit of joy as he did,his smile growing even larger. The target of his copious happiness... zen and his tea. He would speak once more this time however it lacked the brash formality of before .... a question that Damien need relay
"sorry.... could i try some of that tea, it looks absolutely delicious."

THE EMPTY YUUDESHI
KAKINE YUUDESHI
何もないのキング
何もないのキング
The Yuudeshi was nodding off, the night finally setting as he leaned back in the chair he sat within. Kakine was waiting for his fellow comrades, the captains of the Gotei Reformed, to arrive for the night meeting he and Damien had requested. The man's breath became shallow as his body began to slip into a quiet sleep. At least, this is what he had hoped would have happened. In a split second Kakine's body jolted to life, his eyes wide like a fox as a large thud smacked against the large table before him. Shaking off the groginess that he had from the few seconds his body entered slumber, the Yuudeshi's eyes squinted as he grew rather somber.
A tiny girl of blonde hair and crimson eyes sprawled herself along the table, her nonchalant entrance fully setting in as he took a deep sigh. Hanging his head in sadness, Kakine registered that this must be the Ibiki Suika he had heard so much of. Devil Girl Shinigami, a hot headed drunkard that spent her time fighting nearly twenty four seven. Before the Yuudeshi could speak, he had been attacked so quickly. With a sharp pain shooting through his nose, his vision filled once again with the red faced devil. She was complaining, stating that the meeting was messing with her sleep and that the "Vizard Yuudeshi" should know better.
"You sure about that, shortie? You know about yo-"
Yet again, Kakine Yuudeshi was stupified as the Devil girl went about her own devices. If only these devices didnt include her small behind to be shoved directly in his face. With a slight turn of the head, Kakine sighed as the little toes of Ibiki pushed against his cheek. Jesus, if this one a single captain among the Gotei, who else could be stationed within? Watching the drunkard slink her way into her chair, he eased back into his own chair as he quieted once more.
The man wasn't used to everything that was going on within the Gotei. He was used to his family and the lonliness that he usually took pride in. There was always someone around in the bustling Seireitei, one could almost never find a quiet time to rest. It was a nice change of pace, but it didn't change the fact that he was utterly confused. Moving on entirely from the little girl that spent her time teasing the male, he watched as yet another captain walked his way through the entance.
Carter Zenaki, an Angel from what he knew from the Yuudeshi Network. He was somewhat like his younger brother, Shadin, but it didn't stick out very much. As he interacted with Ibiki it was obvious how he felt of the Gotei. He was a respectful boy, Kakine could comend him for that. Nodding his head towards Carter after he introduced himself, he stood and walked to the wall adjacent from the entrance. One by one the highest ranks of each squad shuffled in.
Quiet knocks could be heard from the entrance, yet another member of the Gotei filtering in to bow and speak aloud. Serizawa Genji, from his worlds he was the Vice Captain of Diplomatic Affairs. Moving towards his designated chair, the man stood as if he were stone. Turning his head from the map in front of him, Kakine eyed the Vice Captain before speaking up.
"I'm new around here, but if this were back home I'd ask you to sit. You wouldn't be here without representing your people, so I would represent them at your fullest. That means sitting as a whole, not standing as one."
The arrogant Vizard turned back to the map, rubbing his neck as he sighed. He hoped he didn't speak out of line. Of course he was new, but he would want someone to respect those that came before in the Yuudeshi family. It was just something he believed in, something he hoped he could make clear to the wall of a man.
With a sniffle, the Yuudeshi yawned as the window of the meeting room exploded into what seemed a million pieces. With that, a quiet voice could be heard coming from who knows where. Kuro Okami. He was a weird kid from what he could recall learning from Damien. To make that statement even more apparent was his comments on the Zero Division. Of course, they were different now but still. Was there a reason to talk about it? Shaking his head, the Yuudeshi turned to face the entrance once more as yet another companion came.
The man went by Zen, captain of the Kido Corps. It seemed from his actions and focus on the little miss devil, it was obvious the two of them didn't care for each other. Well, things would have to change somewhat soon, otherwise things like that would grow out of hand. They were a family, something that were all going to need to stick to here in the near future for the Gotei to thrive yet again.
Moving back towards his chair, the man of the meeting finally arrived. Damien Crow. Dick head drunkard. Not that that was a bad thing, it was just something that could be assumed. Kakine had little room to talk, rubbing his nose as he flopped back to his seat once more. With that, the half naked male went along his way. From one thing to the next, Damien went from speech to movement repeatedly. As his conversation came to a head, Kakine leaned forward in his chair as he raised his hand. Doing so, near colorless energy flowed from his hands as an image of a dancing Benkei arrived. The tiny image projected the Zanpakutō spirit as Kakine lazily spoke up.
"All I can say is that I'm new around here. Kakine Yuudeshi, leader of Zero Division and Right Hand of the Soul King. Excuse me, I'll end up being a dick eventually. I'd grow used to it before it gets annoying."
Turning his head to Damien, the Yuudeshi smiled as he turned back to Benkei. His empty eyes focused on his dear Zapakuto spirit as he spoke for a final time.
"I just want to make one thing clear. I'm here to help, not to attack one another. No bull shit, we're a family. That's about it. I know about procedures, I know my job and I know what I'll be doing around here. It's whoever's turn next to chirp up, otherwise I'll be here."
With his final words coming to life, Kakine Yuudeshi leaned back and closed his eyes once more, leaving the floating woman to her own devices.

THE MENACING DEVIL GIRL
Woo-hoo! Things were getting off to an ecstatic start. Sure, Mr.Grumpy Pants over there wouldn't be happy, but he'd learn to loosen up over time! As Miss Suika's goal for The Yuudeshi was to help him relax, ease and become one with his comfortable side. She could tell from his tense shoulders, scowl and stern attitude that he needed someone to help him break out of his shell and find his inner easy-going side!
However, before she could go too much into detail about that, one of the other Captains stepped forth into the room!
Hmmmmmmm -- he was super pale! Like -- really pale! So pale she thought he was sick! That guy needed more sun and Ibiki was already making plans for him to sunbathe or something. Aside from that distracting thought, though, she was happy to see another strong ally reach the ranks of Captainhood. And, from the looks of it, he was of the same feeling.
As right next to The Menacing Devil Girl did The Angel Shinigami decide to sit and speak his intentions of wanting to seek training from her. To that? She could only giggle and nod her head affirmately. Of course she'd be willing to train a comrade! It would prove the perfect oppoturnity to get to know her new friend, learn his secrets and mold him into being the best drinking bud she could find.
Oh -- she was getting ahead of herself! It must've been the liquor, or lack of sleep, but her mind was moving a millions per second and she could only snicker and grin before shaking his hand. As her face turned flush red, she'd breathe a breath of alcohol in his face and speak these words with drunk filled glee:
"Hehehe, sure thing, Sick Captain! I look forward to sharing a drink and punch with chu!"
Then, after another jovial giggle, The Suika Child would then rub her right palm all over his face before pushing him away and having her ears perk up at the sound of Genji entering the room. From what she heard, this guy wasn't a Captain, but who cares? For the time being, he was acting as one and she'd treat him as an ally none the less. So, she'd wave wildly at him, as if he were an old friend, and toss him a drink on a white saucer that seemed to form out of nowhere. (Though -- it was formed by her supah basic kido!)
"Hello, hello Genji-Genji! It's nice to...."
Before she could finish -- a hiccup escaped her mouth! She'd giggle, wipe her lips and continue on with her words
"...meet ya! Let's be friends~! Please drink up and relax <3"
Then, with that, she'd rock back and forth in her chair like an infant before ceasing that momvent. As, with her keen supernatural detection skills, her sharp senses picked up Mr.Boogy-Man-Shadow over there! Yeah, that weird Kuro guy -- he was hiding in the darkness like a text-book creepy stalker! Gross~!
"Stop being so creepy, Captain Stealth! I like you better when you aren't sneaking around like a rat!"
Of course, these words were said in good jest, but it was up to Kuro to determine how he'd respond to them. All Ibiki could do after was snicker and massage his shoulders as he started getting up and arms about the presence of Kakine in the room. She could tell he was only trying to do his job and protect against invaders, but this time -- it wasn't needed! Thus, she'd let him know and whisper into his ears these words:
"Shh~ Shh~ No need to be upset! He's on our side. Down, boy!"
With that, The Devil Girl would pat Kuro's head and place a bottle of 20 proof alcohol produced from her essence in his hands! It would get him less tight, more open and prevent him from being an antsy dog ready to attack anything that moves! After all, it's why she referred to him as a dog as he reminded her as one of those jumpy guard mutts ready to maul anything that gets near to them!
No, no, no, no!
She wanted him human, loosened and free to relax! So, she'd wag her finger at him, snicker and then turn on her heels to return back to her seat.
...WHICH IS WHEN ANOTHER CAPTAIN CAME IN!
Geez! It was like clockwork! Ibiki would sit down, another Captain would come in. Ibiki would come up, another Captain would come in! Yeesh! Whatever, this one seemed to be more on edge than the others. Apparently, from the rumors she heard, there was a grudge to be had as this guy must've had it in for the combat corps given the Zaraki's history with them.
However -- Ibiki didn't care one way or the other about his grudge or whatever bias he had for her and the division. No. They were in times of crisis -- and they had no time to bicker among themselves! So, she'd make sure to let him know that by nuzzling his face, placing a cup of booze next to his tea and snickering with too much happiness behind her rosy cheeks!
"Hi, hi! Welcome Captain Zen! Have a complimentary drink on yours truly! ;D"
With that, she'd once again dance to her chair and hope no one else would enter. As, when she did, she pointed her index finger at the Kido Leader and winked playfully.
"I hope we can be good friends! Captains gotta stick together now more than ever! ;3"
On that concluding note, Ibiki would cease her action with the magical commander and shift her sights to the final entry into this cramped meeting: Damien Crow himself! Oh my~! She was proud of her Vice Captain for somehow being able to become Captain Commander. It boggled her mind, but she wasn't upset one bit! If he was up for the task of managing that hecktive position, The Menacing Devil Girl would support it 100% as they were good friends the last she recalled!
"Hi, hi Damien~! Nice to see ya Mr.Big And Important~"
Twas another playful swipe as she snickered and waved back at him. However, once she had time to gauge his reaction, she could tell he was trying to discipline her for something so trivial. To which, The Suika Child could only casually shrug off. Why? Because a wall was a thing so basic and simple to patch-up that even the brutes of her squad could easily patch up. Honestly, who cared about something dumb like that? Hehehe.
Ergo, as a show of good faith, she'd hum a tune, jump up form her chair, dance over to the wall and wink back at him. With a clap of her hands, The Suika Child placed her right hand out and briefly activated a weakened version of Shikai. By doing so, she utilized it's Resolve Force in order to forge a blob of purple energy. This gunk filled the hole in the wall and started mending together a suitable replacement. Pretty soon, it was patched up, colored and made to seem as if nothing had ever destroyed it in the first place!
With plum light still emitting from Ibiki's body, she'd giggle again, clap her hands and power back down to her base. After which, she'd hum, skip and jump back to her Damien's with the problem all but fixed.
"See? No problem! Ya got no reason to get so tense. Relax."
After having said that, The Menacing Devil Girl hugged him and leaped back into her chair as she swung her legs around and listened cheerfully to the words he was uttering. From the gist of it, the man wanted to know where they all stood on things and Ibiki decided to take the first crack at it! So, she rose her hand and spoke these words out loud:
"Yessums, we are a family through and through! I feel pretty good about where things are going, hehe. I started that whole process with the eleventh division and I'd be happy to continue it with the combat squad!"
Rubbing her nose, she'd then seem a bit more somber for a few seconds after reflecting a bit on some of the events that transpired from many months that made up the past year. While she was doing her best to remain peppy and open, there was a hole left in her heart from all the stress which came from her trials. Everything from defending the Seireitei from being destroyed by numerous invaders, attempting to keep her squadron afloat, the absence of both Iriko and Tsubasa and attempting to keep peace in the Soul Society was so tiring on top of all the many supernatural disasters which happened in 2415.
So, she'd let out a sigh, wipe away those worries with a smile and just remained optimistic that perhaps this turn around in the Gotei could help change things. No use in getting stressed! Henceforth, she had another drink and pleaded her case:
"I'd just ask that everyone try and remain open and motivational! Things are pretty tough, but that doesn't mean we can't be uplifting, right? All of us and the people we lead are counting on us to be figureheads that inspire confidence, safety and hope! So I say we continue that by being good friends ourselves and remaining whole as a family! As the past year has been incredibly hard on myself, but I have faith things can improve if we unite!"
Ending a chipper note, The Suika Child would stuff her sorrows down with another drink and let out a content sigh before turning her amber gaze back to Kakine. Rolling over to him, she'd appear on top of his shoulder, poke his head and smile. Seriously, this chick moved in blinks of the eye! None the less, she did have something to say to The Yuudeshi:
"And I'll be sure to make ya loosen up! You look like you could use a good friend to, Kakine Yuudeshi! So I welcome ya into our family."
With a nuzzling of the cheek, she'd giggle, and in two blinks of the eye, appear back in her chair before letting the others have their turn to speak~!
However, before she could go too much into detail about that, one of the other Captains stepped forth into the room!
