The New Right Hand

The Vizard Yuudeshi rubbed his neck as his feet smacked against the solid earth of the newly reformed Gotei. His body ached of tiredness and laziness, his eyes darting to those that stood around him. They were simple soldiers of the Shinigami forces, focused intently on this odd brown haired male that seemingly showed up within the Gotei. The Yuudeshis were known here due to his brother, Shadin, but for someone like Kakine to step forth? It was an oddity, the secluded man that stayed to himself no matter what arriving in a place of such importance. Could it have been destiny for the Shinigami people that Kakine would be arriving now of all times, or was it calculated? Maybe the Yuudeshi had planned on coming eventually, now just being the time.

Kicking at the dirt, Kakine smirked as he continued to walk forth. Destiny was nothing the man believed, otherwise he would have had to be fine with his wife's death so many years ago. No, he was here of his own volition. The male made his way up a large set of steps leading to a large barracks, a symbol above his head passing by as he made his way through its entrance. The sign specified that the building he stepped forth into was that of the Command post, the newly reformed Division One. It seemed that the Yuudeshi already had plans for his arrival here in the Gotei.

With haste, Kakine sped his way through the large corridors of the Command Post in order to emerge outside of a large balcony, leading to a post that the Captain Commander and Right Hand of the Soul King were to reside. The Captain wasn't here, but it seemed that the Right Hand had just arrived, taking their stand over by the balcony railing. Clearing their throat, the Right Hand spoke at an amplified state, their powers allowing them to echo their voice among the barracks and "streets" of the Seireitei.

"Alrighty then. It seems that I'm around, finally. Names Kakine, Kakine Yuudeshi. I'll be taking over as the leader of Zero Division from here on out, their head position being listed as The Right Hand of the Soul King. If for some reason you need to speak to me, I'll be with the Captain Commander. Otherwise, leave me be."

The empty Yuudeshi pushed his voice out loudly as he turned back to the room, smacking his hands against his thighs as he sighed. He never spent most of his time doing things for others, not unless they were family. The Kakine that the Yuudeshi's knew was a man that protected his people and took care of those that needed help. The Kakine that those of the world knew was a man of assholeishness, an arrogant man that thought he was one of the strongest alive. It was seldom that he forced his opinion on others, but due to this it was rare for him to truly be nice. He was a passive aggressive man, that couldn't be helped. He wasn't going to turn a blind eye to terror anymore, that was a definite in his life now.

Moving towards the head chair of the Captain Commander, Kakine placed his hands against its long back. Psychometry set in, an ability that allowed him to register past events that have occurred with an object or area. With the area around him growing still, visions flooded the man's mind as he smiled. The past Captain Commanders, Zero Division members and Gotei members alike, coming together to take care of those around them. They were a great force, at least, they were. Taking in the importance of both his position and whatever the Captain Commander's was was of great power. They were men and or women that were meant to place themselves above the rest here.

Kakine didn't have experience in the ways of protecting everyone, he only cared for his family. It would be a long time before he would be able to value the lives of those around him as he does the Yuudeshi, but it would be the same eventually. Eventually, the Gotei would be the Yuudeshi to Kakine, but would Kakine be family to those here in the Seireitei? Time would tell as soon as it could, something Kakine had far too much of.
