Angelic Meet and Greet [Blade]

Artist: Poets Of The fall - Song: Carnival of Rust - Word Count:657
His training with Cirno had ended a few days back but he couldn't find the will to leave the island just yet. He had received word that Azure was here on this island and being that he had never actually met any of the other angels the opportunity to meet The Angel of Humanitas was one he couldn't pass up. The young Shinigami had decided to take his time and look for the man, he had asked around the settlement at any and all people so maybe it would get back to the man that he was being looked for by a fellow angel.Carter was nervous though, he had heard of how powerful this man was, just like the other angel Shadin. They were both men of immense power and Carter, well he wasn't. he was a young shinigami that had basically stumbled into becoming The Angel of Temperantia. That being said he did everything in his power to use his abilities for good, taking as many fights as he could to the demonic forces who were making themselves comfortable on earth. He had advanced in power too, becoming a Gotei Captain at his young age and even managing to unlock his release state while training with his elder sister Cirno. Before he went to train with her his power wasn't small but it wasn't large, he wasn't a force that could change the tide of battle but now he could feel power of his Radiance coursing through him.
The young shinigami stopped walking and looked out over the ocean from the board walk. He had been thinking about it and he could afford himself one more day of looking for the Angel of Humanitas before he had to call it a lost cause and return to Soul Society to return to his duties. He couldn't leave his hot headed Vice Captain in charge forever.
With a yawn he pushed a lock of his snow white hair out of his face and leaned forward on the railing of the board walk, the light that glistened off of the ocean waves reflecting off of his golden eyes and warming his body. This settlement was so huge that you could walk up a mountain and experience one of the coldest snow storms you had ever found yourself in and then walk down onto a tropical beach where the salty spray of the ocean chilled your skin, contrasting to the warm sands beneath your feet. He wouldn't lie and say he had just stayed here to look for Azure, he had been reluctant to leave. His mind thinking back to Cirno's offer to make him an Angel Iramasha and make him even more attuned to his inner light, the holy force that he pulled his true power from. He had declined his sister's offer for fear of losing his Zanpakutō Nacuto. The spirit had guided him this far and she was going to get him as far as he was willing to go and he couldn't risk losing her.
Turning back to the island he would whisper to himself, "Where are you?" Trying to hope the man would just step out of the mass of people as they went about their business but he knew it might not happen so he would try something he hadn't thought of until juts now, his eyes locking onto a distant light house. He released his angelic Reiatsu, the golden beam shooting up into the night before fading. He hadn't thought of it because he was used to not having to stick out, his angelic side made him appear to be a normal human but he forgot how sometimes spiritual beings used their energy as a beacon for others to come to them. If not for the Light House he wouldn't have ever thought of it.

A KING'S REQUIEM
AZURE IRAMASHA
忘れっぽいです
忘れっぽいです
As per the usual, Azure Iramasha was taking his trip to the Iramasha cove, an Island within the Soul Society's reaches. Visits were far and few when it came to visiting his people. Normally, the Hybrid Iramasha was constantly busy with Vanguard affairs and helping others on the Human World side of things. However, despite the constant work that the Vanguard usually find with the actions of Earth, sometimes Azure takes these moments and bring himself back down and ground himself in real life. This meant that the Vanguard Leader was going to spend a day off, at his home. A place that he hasn't seen for what, nearly four months now?
Taking a deep breath, Azure Iramasha walked through the streets of his childhood region once again. Unlike a few times prior, the people that were on the streets and outside working were happy this time around. Smiles and greetings from those that Azure knew as a child came willingly and quickly. It was nice, compared to a few times prior. Its as if Azure lived on the island non-stop again. The sun was disturbingly bright that day, shining down on the greens of the Island as if it had become a thick jungle. The number one thing that Azure had always loved as a child was that the Island truly was gorgeous. It was beautiful, no matter how you looked at its surface.
Hours had passed, the sun glowing as it slowly set against the horizon as Azure spent the majority of his time on the Island in a tavern at its center. The drinks came quickly and harshly, alcohol of the Iramasha being a tad strong for those who haven't experienced it in the past. Lucky for Azure, he had a father that was a bit obssesed with Wine as a hobby. This led to him, and his siblings, understanding the strength and potency of the alcohol at an early age. Nevertheless, Azure had become a bit tipsy, something the male didn't normally do. A stumble here, a stumble there, the Hybrid emerged from yells and laughter to the outside world. The night air filled the young Iramasha's lungs as he blinked, quietly taking in the night life of Iramasha Island. Things seemed to be going well for the Iramasha, something Azure couldn't actually attest to. It was the first time in years that he felt happy for his actions in the past, helping his people before he left to the Human World.
The road slowly moved its way forward, Azure seemingly taking a path that he didn't understand would lead to things unknown. Step after step, the slightly buzzed male kept his radiant smile that he shared as a child with these people. The night was growing long and tiredsome, the cold air only intesifying as a bright flash warped its way to the sky. Colors of gold and yellow swirling from left to right in a high beam reached the sky's limit, only dissipating before Azure could register what he had been. Heh... It was easy to see, other Iramasha were slowly beginning to fade to sleep in the night time while the freaks and idiots stayed to play. It wasn't surprising, especially with Azure being on the Island that night. Taking a single step forward, the Vanguard Leader's body began to become enveloped in Chaos Energy as he completely dissappeared from view of the tavern and streets, body morphing as it did so.
As the Chaos energy flew through the air, Azure's body nearly instantly reformed into a physical being as he dropped to the ground, stumbling forward only a tiny bit as he looked around. A board walk, one frequently used during the day but seldom used at dusk. Looking around, the emptiness of the area hit the man like a cement truck, his eyes focusing on a single induvidual that stood in the clearing. Letting a deep sigh release from his throat, Azure stepped forward, sliding his hands within his pockets.
"Kids these days. You shouldn't do things like that here at night, it'll only get you killed by our people"
As if Azure had met the man before, he looked upward, leaned back and smiled. The buzzed feeling that had previously enveloped the Iramasha slowly dissipated as his eyes watched the Shinigami.
"Azure Iramasha. Nice to meet you."

A smile came to his face as the man he had been searching for came forward and greeted him like an old friend. it was a long shot in releasing his energy to get his attention but it had worked and the small shinigami wanted to do a dance of excitement. he had never met another angel before and it was almost awe inspiring to see another one of his kind, sure they were not the same race, being he was a Shinigami and the man before him was the Iramasha leader of the vanguard but already he felt as if he was looking at a long lost sibling, they even both had the same hair and if nobody knew better Carter might be able to pass as his younger brother based off of their similar features, it was almost eerie. The main difference though was in their eyes, not the vastly different coloring but the looks deep in the eyes, like a window to their souls. Azure held a much deeper more mature look in his eyes, they seemed more focused and sharpened to the world, while Carter's held a youthful optimistic shine. Like a dumb puppy who knew no better.
"Nice to meet you Azure, I'm Carter Zenaki. I've been looking for one of us for a while.." he said, sounding slightly confused as if he didn't know what to say next, it was true he had been looking for the other angels for a while but he never thought about what he would do when he met one, he assumed he would just join forces with them and destroy the darkness in the world but that was childish, he also hoped that meeting one would offer him insight to the god who bestowed them their powers more because truthfully he could hardly feel Truth.
When he first set out he thought well maybe they will train me to be strong like them, looking back on that thought his golden eyes switched from looking at the angel in front of him to the mountain he had just come from which housed his adoptive sister Cirno. She was a powerful mentor and due to her training he didn't feel the need anymore to have to ask to be trained, he knew he still couldn't hold a candle to the man in front of him but at the same time he was no longer the weakling he had been before he trekked up the mountain. A profound change ad taken place when he had trained with Cirno and entered the realm of heaven.
His eyes turned dark and he spoke without even thinking, forgetting his filter he was so careful to maintain at all times, "The world's going to hell in a hand basket Azure, the demons have been running rampant, other realities keep trying to exist here, The Gotei is in shambles, and I'm having trouble finding my purpose anymore. Evil can't be allowed to flourish but it needs to exist for Good to have a place in this world, but the balance is out of whacked though. "
Lately his mind had been full of just how messed up the world was, he had had an idea to train with Cirno to become stronger and become a light in this dark world and if he could to gather all the heroes she had trained to form a crusade against the demons and evil beings of the world. " I'm a young fool that has such high hopes for this world, a grand idea to gather all the forces of good in a desperate attempt to balance the scales but the fact is I think I'm looking at the last true good force in this world if what I've heard is true. Cirno is powerful and her heart is in the right place but she can't win this alone and I'm afraid if my sister actually tried to fight the darkness her light would be lost. You though, you've come out of many battles with your light still intact and I want to learn how from you..."
The young boy looked back to the powerful angel, his golden eyes almost begging for answers to questions he had, words to soothe his doubt in the world, something to help him cling to his dying hope for this world.
