Primary Energy Reserves

Energy Grid:

The Aegis’s energy grid is a brainchild of Animum Desponde’s and utilizes the energy run off from colliding molecules at high rates of speed, This energy is then for the most part fully immersed into the many wires and cables that are running throughout the Aegis stronghold after which the energy is converted into a dense form of “electricity” , each “wire” has then a secondary system which soaks up any excess run-off and pushes it into a secondary energy system for the sole purpose of energy containment and energy storage, in this way? The grid which expands throughout the entirety of these tunnels are specifically able to be utilized for multiple purposes, such as linking to other wires that have become damaged or even utilizing this method the energy grid itself is able to shut off area’s in times of need entirely, making this energy grid for the most part a highly versatile part of the Aegis stronghold.

Primary Core: The Primary core of Aegis is found in the shape of a concentrated mass of energy which essentially is immersed in a high density gravity field, Now what the “core” is essentially thousands of terrawatts if not hundreds of thousands of terrawatts of raw latent energy which is constantly being pumped out from the Aegis Energy grid. Because of this the Primary core isn’t very big, but for example it has enough energy to easily power every single item which is found in Aegis and beyond that power the defenses that comprise Aegis and make it as it’s name suggests a fortress in its own right.

Run-off Core: The Run-Off Core is essentially the secondary core that is built specifically to handle any overflow from the primary core. This “core” generally is built so that while it is only a secondary core it can handle up to 1.5x the max energy of the primary in case for some reason the primary core itself goes off-line and the secondary core is all that is presently viable. So for all intents and purposes this Run-Off Core is built and condensed by gravity as well, but the only difference being it has a hardened alloy shell around it made to further compress and at the same time completely regulate the energy that is run off and stored into the base itself.

Super Alloy Compounds: The Base itself has been refurbished with a super-alloy compound that allows for the entirety of the base to be able to withstand easily up to three point-blank nuclear blasts without much damage other than circuitry and other fried wirings that might occur from the concussive blast and radiation. This “Super Alloy” itself was created when Animum Manipulated the durability of multiple metals such as steel, carbon, and iron. Intermixing them and then increasing the strength of these alloys by at least 100x the original durability itself. Because of this the base itself is built to be able to take immense strain and multiple beating from high-tiered individuals without getting much more than a dent or two.


Blast Doors: The Base Also is equipped with several thousand different blast doors, each being made with specification to be able withstand abuse from high tiered individuals. Of course these doors run on a system that is specifically encased within anti-emp grade insulation so that incase an electrical user gets in there won’t be any real damages to these doors, however in times of attack these doors themselves are made so that they will shut automatically making it so that to actually get into the base you will have to smash through each one of these doors which also are made of a reinforced variety of the super-alloy compound that the base itself is made of.


Underground: Another physical defense is that this base is located upwards of a mile underneath the earth, as such the base itself is generally immune to most of the damage that occurs on the surface as attacks that take place essentially have to not only get TO the base itself but they also have to get through the mountains of dirt, and rock that are found on top of the base itself in general, making it even more so protected from individual’s than any of the previous bases given the fact of the matter being that this base is at it’s shallowest roughly 1 mile underground, and at it’s deepest is could be considered to be 3 miles or so underneath the surface of the earth.

The primary energy defense is known as the Aegis System, this system is comprised of energy particles that super-saturate the air throughout the base, this “energy” is made specifically with defense in mind and ran off from the Primary generator. Now if the base itself is ever under attack the Aegis System will for the most part activate, generating multi-layered barriers that will coat the blast doors as well as the exterior of the base in general. These “Barriers” Are made specifically with absolute defense in mind, they cannot block every single attack, but each of the barriers is made specifically to take immense damage even from those in the high 0 tier range, meaning that these “barriers” once they go online will be able to for the most part stop a decent amount of damage throughout the base even without the alloys and the blast doors.
