A Familial Stroll [Karakura Fall/Winter Festival, OPEN]
Sun Nov 01, 2015 3:45 pm
A SIMPLE, BROKEN SOUL
AZURE IRAMASHA
壊れた魂
壊れた魂
Song: UNKNOWN - Artist: UNKNOWN - Words: 626
The cold winter day flew by as icy air spread throughout the created world of Karakura's grand festival. Azure, as per the usual, seemed to be wrapped up in a scarf and tight clothing. A thick jacket covering his upper body only seemed to bleed into the dark black pants that stretched downward. He was without chill, surprisingly. The clothing he wore was far from the natural winter get up that most people wore, but it wasn't just himself that wore clothing like this. Others that could keep themselves warm would do so, Azure only did so by vibrating the air around him. The molecules moved quickly, bouncing back and forth as the air heated to natural room temperatures. It was convenient, but lazy. Letting a soft yawn escape his lips, the broken man watched the world around him as he strolled.
Streaks of blue, white, orange and red ran through the leaves and daylight, the sky only shining brightly against the bright sun. The festival only seemed to grow in size as the man walked the streets of the newly reopened festival city. It was an area that had been created before, but removed after each festival is concluded. The festival itself usually lasted a few months to incorporate both the winter and fall time. This however, was Azure's first time attending the festival. As the now leader of the Vanguard, he thought it was due time that he were to come, despite his current state. With that being said, the man lazed around the area, constantly playing tricks on himself as he and Husk bickered back and forth.
"You don't ever shut up, do you?"
Azure's voice was low as he came to the fringes of a nearby park, his eyes jerking from left to write as he spoke. It was weird for a man to speak to himself, let alone have a response. The Husk was something many knew nothing of, only few had seen or came into contact with his idiocy. It was saddening to the male, but with his broken innards there was nothing he could truly do about it. it was one of his very reasons to come to the festival, to try to mend what seemed to be forever broken to him.
Why would I ever shut up? I get to finally talk and all you can do is bitch about it? What an idiot, shut up man. I like having freedom. I don't need your ass fucking it over.
Annoying. Azure felt nothing but annoyance for the asshat that resided in his skull. Taking that into consideration, Azure flopped against a nearby oak bench, watching as the children ran around with their parents. A small, frozen pond seemed to be frozen fully through, allowing them to slide around however they wished. It was a joyous thing to watch, such happiness being made in memories that these kids would never forget. The smile that wrapped along Azure's lips was short lived as the Husk spoke up once more, ruining the moment entirely.
They all look so stupid running around like that, hahaehahaha.
As usual, the man had nothing important to say. The day seemed to only drag on from there on out, Azure and The Husk waiting for whoever may happen by. Sliding his hands through the thick, woven pockets of his jacket, the Hybrid Iramasha smiled once more, trying to let the warmth of the sun ease his pains. The bandages that previously sat against his skin were now removed, however, the scarring against the right side of his face and his entire right hand hadn't disappeared. Hopefully, whoever did happen to stop by, wouldn't be too agitated from his appearance. It's something he'd have to deal with for quite some time, given his current state.

It was finally time. This atrocious date which James abhorred.
The Festival.
Honestly, it wasn't so much the festival itself he abhorred as the sheer amount of people that would be attending. He of course, was here on business. Otherwise, he couldn't be bothered to even attempt. Azure Iramasha, or so his network informed him, would be here today. James decided, of course, it was finally time to catch up with this man.
James, having been completely caught off guard by the war they were evidently in, even rushed to go support Azure in the fight. Now, he had some serious questions.
As the Lord of Whispers, he could often be found at public events, under the spotlight, and even on cameras discussing things which Azure couldn't be bothered to. However, in this case, he was stopped and questioned about a war which he knew nothing about, making himself look royally stupid on television. Not that he cared, it was only one time... but the fact that Azure went running off to war while James was in a medically induced coma appalled him. Upset him. James was not a person to easily be upset. He was not so short-tempered that every little thing had his blood at a boil, but this... this was out of line.
Perhaps it mainly because James saw Azure as a man after his own heart. Perhaps it was because somewhere, somehow, he looked up to his ideals. James was not one to so easily make friends, but Azure had become something approaching one. The Vanguard Leader was someone James looked up to, and it was in fact the very reason he remained "protecting the earth". James didn't give a rat's ass about people, but the thought of peace was a sentiment which he enjoyed. What could make this man do such a thing after telling him personally that war was not the only way?
Then, he saw him. Or at least someone who registered as him. His body language was completely different, his posture was off, a closer look proved scars down his entire right side, whether burn marks or actual physical scars... Signs of battle. Difficult battle. No doubt from Iceland. James himself would have scars, if he didn't have his intensive healing pod at his lab. Hell, James might have even died.
Approaching the man, eyes weary from battle and constant social interaction, he reached a hand out to place on the man's shoulder. "Was it worth it in the end," He half-whispered, a slight rasping in his voice from the pain he had suffered in combat. Though his pod could heal scars, it couldn't heal the hoarseness in his voice he suffered from screaming in agony. They were both broken.
"Azure Iramasha?"
