Each step was a thrill to the weaker kind.
Yukiko however, was simply bored. Perhaps, if she wandered in the forest, something would attack her and relieve her of her boredom. But that, so far, had not come to pass. It was perhaps a fear - the fear of never ending boredom, of losing so much that boredom becomes the eternal state of being, that fear of never being able to feel again - that was driving her to do this. But Yukiko would never admit such tripe to people. She would rather taunt them on their own weakness then even think of uncovering her own. She was not some creature to be put on display, so there was no reason to create an exposé of herself.
But whatever the case was, she was in the forest.
Something was going to grab her attention eventually. Of that she was sure. After all, attention did not soothe boredom, but rather put it away for a moment. For a moment, she stilled, listening. And then she began to move once more, letting her steps move her across the forest floor with natural elegance. She wasn't quite sure what she was looking for, but she kept hearing snatches of something. A song, a melody - whatever that something was, she wanted to seek it. With a flashed smile, the arrancar moved carefully, slowly making her way to the sound. And before, where it was disjointed and full of echo, it was refining. Surely, and definitely, the sounds became a melody.
Someone was singing in this forest, and Yukiko intended to find them.

The Moon Above
...........................................................................................
A calm melody danced from the woman's lips as she moved quietly through lands which she had not visited in far too long. Her eyes falling shut as she moved with careful steps, exact not to make too much noise as she moved besides the light echo of her voice, singing a melody tot he moon above for it's entertainment. Her body moved calm and quietly with no sense of urgency but one of leisure. It was an odd state for her, not having a purpose or reason. After so long in an isolated and entrapped state, one would expect that she would have changed by far much more but instead, the young Arrancar couldn't find herself to change beyond how she was in the instance. Wandering without purpose, seeking purpose and finding solace with her constant companion, The Moon.
The woman's long strands of black swayed behind her as she found herself tired of the land below her feet and glancing about before bending her legs at the knees and pressing off, using the pressure to send her up towards the trees and grabbing hold of a branch. The momentum not slowing just yet as she swung her body forward to launch herself slightly higher and onto a thick, sturdy branch. Her body planting itself as she bent her knees in landing to keep herself from falling off. As she glanced up, she took note of a better view of the moon from this point and couldn't help but lightly grin before sitting against the branch. Her singing continuing once more, in slight hopes to quell her boredom. Either her song will lull her into slumber of it will attract something to keep her occupied. No matter the outcome, she was content.
After some time of her melody, the woman took note of movement off in the distance. She slowly stood up and continued to sing, her back against the trunk of the tree, remaining on the branch as she began singing a bit louder and letting her eyes fall shut. Her body calming as she tried to pinpoint the person's location through their spiritual pressure. She wasn't entirely sure as of what it was just yet but it didn't seem too aggressive, nor mindless. She continued to sing until the person was within fifteen feet of the tree which she remained perched upon. Her song coming to a calm end before she spoke loud enough to be heard."Beautiful night, isn't it?"...........................................................................................

What was she going to do?
She had not expected to actually find the source of the singing, expecting it to end long before she arrived. To be a mystery that she would push away, and seek something else to fill her time, to fill her cycle. The dual haired woman found herself at a great tree - very few of these were remaining, years of abuse in the forest thinning down it's populace - the song now strongest. It wasn't a siren song, but in her own apathetic boredom, Yukiko had found it irresistible. Perhaps in a way, she would have been better off if it had become a mystery of some sort or the other. Well, here she was, and her gaze went up the tree.
She found something that surprised her.
It was easy to tell at first sight that this person was an arrancar - the bone was so clean and visible. Yukiko wondered if she knew such a person, but pushed it away, as the female spoke to her. Not answering immediately, the ice wielder took a moment to think. How curious, that she would meet someone new like this. ''Yes.'' she ended up answering. ''Night always ends up rather beautiful here.'' Her voice was not monotone, but it was rather bland at the same time. Rather, there was a small note of fondness in her voice, as in her mind's eye, she could see her kingdom, the crystals glittering in the deep night, the moon causing them to shine.
Although, she wasn't much of a social talker to be fairly honest. Her fingers touched the trunk, and then she slowly leaned her back against it, settling herself. It would probably make for an odd duo - and she knew for a fact that a lot of media sources loved the shit out of this sort of position for plot reasons - if anyone were to stumble onto this. Yukiko slowly crossed her arms, and rested her head against the trunk, before letting out a breath. ''So, did you have a purpose here tonight, or was it just a wandering walk like me?'' she decided to ask, taking the first overture. It wasn't often she would do something like that, but right now, perhaps, she could.
And maybe she would become pleasantly surprised this night.
