He had finally given in.
He was bringing Toki with him to the markets. It was where he bought most of his stuff - shops in Karakura tended to be expensive - and basically it was a place he liked to frequent. Generally, it was easy to pick up a lot of things here, so he was taking his add-on to the place. Not that he was particularly pleased, but perhaps he'd see some interesting people there. Then again, that was pretty much always bothersome - interesting people meant that he had to make effort, and efforts were not his things. Unless they were a girl or a child. Men could and would handle themselves, right? And a lot of women too. But he still remembered one of the few lessons he ever got from a parental figure.
Treat the women right, and you'll be fine.
''Just a word to the wise - causing trouble here gets us kicked out okay. So behave.'' he said, giving her a look. He knew how she could be - how could he not, considering the hole she had made in his apartment - so he figured a warning wouldn't be something that he could do without. With a final card through his hair, he entered the place, welcoming a familiar feeling. The feeling of freedom - there was always a pressure when you walked in Karakura. Either from powerful reiatsu, or just the undercurrent of so many supernatural prescences at once. But here, Takeshi could feel that weight fall off, as abilities were sealed.
It was no wonder he liked it here.
The male was wandering aimlessly, taking looks here and there, when something familiar happened. He wasn't watching, and ended up bumping into a figure. Before said figure fell down, Takeshi grabbed onto them. ''Sorry I didn't mean to - wait, it's you!'' he said, his apologetic expression falling as he realized who it was. It wasn't only a familiar situation, but a familiar face too - and then Takeshi had a sudden realization. This could end very, very bad. He knew Toki would catch up any second - and when she did, something might happen. Oh he knew of his nearly roommate's crush on him. It was obvious in the way she acted to be honest.
Although, he kind of didn't fancy an explosion or something right now, the male thinking of a plan to make a clean escape.
Of course, that wasn't going to happen.

When Toki heard a knock on her door for the first time since she had moved into that rickety old flat, she was almost surprised to see that it wasn't management. When she had opened her sleepy eyes in her pink pajamas, and seen who it really was, she blushed heavily-- immediately turning tail to get changed, and leaving her door open. When Takeshi had asked her to go out with him, and she overreacted, misunderstanding his meaning, she said yes, half asleep and half in her fantasies.
Now she was just pissed. Walking through a market? Seriously? This was his idea for a date?
Well, granted he had only been asking her to go with him, and not necessarily on a date at all, but goddammit she got her hopes up for nothing!
As she tagged behind him lazily, she looked around at all the different market stalls, taking note of every single cute item she saw, and making sure Kimura-chan had seen them. Although now, she was just getting tired of the monotony of it all. Obviously, she thought to herself, messing around in a market is a no-go... Then, it happened.
She had fallen quite a ways behind Takeshi in her desperate search for something, anything of interest, so it came as a shock to her when she saw him there. Bumping into a girl.
A girl!
Her jealousy was both immediate and obvious, her face scrunching up as one of her cheeks inflated. She would shoot at the ground between them if it wouldn't get her immediately arrested. So she did what any jealous teenage girl when faced with someone encroaching on their territory would do. She immediately clutched to Takeshi's arm, squeezing it hard enough to put him in some amount of pain. Though she smiled, she knew Takeshi would be able to at least read the mood.
"Oh, Take-chan~!" She said, squeezing his arm even tighter. "I didn't realize you were making friends so easily without me!" She would say, looking up at him and closing her eyes, much like he did. Only difference was, behind her eyelids were the eyes of a killer. A hunter. And Takeshi Kimura was her prey.
She wouldn't do anything stupid, but she sure as hell wasn't going to let this slide...
