The time is currently 4:50 PM in Árborg, Iceland. The temperature is currently forty three degrees, it is beginning to rain, the skies are turning scarlet and a crimson dome is covering the city of Árborg itself to prevent Vanguard operatives from breaking in. Their objective is to get pass the line of tens of thousands of Shadow Fall Troops that are now guarding the borders starting through a wide field of grass, dirt and rock. And, for antags, their goal is to otherwise prevent them from breaking through this line. The thread will begin in the out lands of the city within a flat land filled with dirt, rock and grass.

He wasn't too sure where he was at, his jet black hair blew under his hoody as the forty five degree whether attempted to push through and send chills down his super heated body. The sky was an odd color of crimson and not too far off you could see a dome like structure. As he began to walk closer to the dome Hizazel could sense the heat rising from the bodies that surrounded the dome. Something was guarding the dome, a lot of somethings. Rain dropped from the sky little by little making the crimson color look that much more ominous than it already was. Hizazel began to wonder what kind of fight laid for him up ahead. He knew that he had just jumped into a war that really wasn't any of his business, but his grandparents, on his mother's side, lived here and that was reason enough to protect them, but was he even in the right place?
Hizazel just heard that a war was going to be waged in Iceland and his mother was crying in the house when he found out she had family her in Arborg. With no hesitation the next day he told them he would be going to Iceland and vanished before they could tell him otherwise. Within the next few hours he was flying to Iceland and the plan was shot down a few minutes after telling the small amount of daring passengers that it had crossed into Iceland. Since then Hizazel had been walking/running. Along the way he found a map which helped point him in the general direction of his target.
"What the hell kind of war is this?" He asked himself as he neared the source of all of the heat he felt. Standing a few blocks from him was an overkill of guards for the dome behind them that now seemed to tower into the sky. Hizazel looked at the masses of people and smirked as he knew this was going to be a long fight if one should so occur. He cracked his knuckles and stretched out his arms. His snake like eyes began to search for the leader of this large band of misfits. "Well this just got a lot more dangerous huh?" He said calmly as he waited for their move. He wasn't too sure if they noticed him just yet and didn't want to do anything to hasty just yet.

The rain was pouring hard and fast as the atmosphere grew cold and quiet. There was a sense of dread to be had for most soldiers and unauthorized beings whom trespassed into Iceland during this time of war. In a matter of moments, screams echoed out and their energy was quickly silenced soon there after. Sure, this was a war, but this scene was entirely was off. People were dying in droves, blood was dripping on to the earth-floor and the smell of iron was permeating the entire landscape.
Something wicked was on the horizon.
No. To be more precise -- something demonic. A cluster of them, in fact. They killed, destroyed and utterly annihialted anything that got in the way of their march towards the city of Arborg.
They were -- absolute monsters.
Indeed, those brief words could be used to describe the amount of crazed animals of demon blood peering their silver eyes upon the new meat whom entered their domain. They were given orders by their master, The Princess of Demon's, to ensure that this city stays protected and kept together. So, by the word of their satanic mistress, they would attack any and all opposing forces whom dared to step foot near this place of sanctuary; a place where they did not belong.
Bodies as black as night, hair as bright as neon and teeth as sharp as razor; these beast were ripped and adjusted to maneuver the landscape with ease and little detection. Mending into the night and shifting through perilous terrain, they marched and made their where way to the scent of human. What was on their simplistic and animal based mind? One thing and one thing only: meat to devour.
Therefore, their glowing orbs for eyes were focused and centered on the likes of the spiritual human before them. He smelled of sweet meat and they wanted to have their cut of them. Henceforth, The time to dine into his flesh and make this lost sack of meat regret ever coming to Iceland was upon them.
Bodies set.
Minds adjusted.
ATTACK! ATTACK! ATTACK!
In the sounds of numerous of creatures hissing, howling and roaring; a pack of seven demonic familiars broke out from the earth beneath Hizazel, the air above him and on all sides. In this way, one would sink it's claws into his skin to hold him place; while the others would screech and begin holding him down and attempt to consume flesh, bone and blood. They were out for blood and they weren't going to allow him to so easily leave this area without a fight.
Hence, many of them started to gather around in the distance and all of their eager and greedy eyes were set upon the walking chow toy. As explosions and screams were echoed in the distance, it seemed that this monsters were making quick work of Vanguard operatives in the area and disposing of any and all resistance. Should this human fail to identify himself or defend adequately against them, then he may very well meet a gruesome fate at the ends of these devilish creatures of demonic servitude.
On this dark eve of war and bloodshed, it appeared that mother fate did not shine brightly upon this unsuspecting man.

Hizazel was left in shock as he watched creatures only to be described as demonic in appearance appear and begin slaughtering the people guarding the barrier. It caused confusion for a brief period as he didn't know who was the bad guy in the situation, at least not until several demons appeared and grabbed him with there jagged teeth. Hizazel yelled in pain and his body dissipated into smoke. He quickly reformed above the creatures and sent a ball of fire hurtling towards them. Blood dripped from his sleeves as holes showed wounds in his skin. Thankfully the creatures hadn't gotten too deep for the wound to be considered serious but it was a wound none the less. They could inflict one they could inflict more.
Hizazel transformed and his tail lit in flames as he landed on a small platform of fire. He hovered over them as his hair began to blow in an upwind. "Scared me there." He called below as he jumped I the air. "NOW it's my turn to scare YOU." He said as a dark energy pulsed from him. He landed on the ground in front of the creatures who had attempted to grab him. He was beginning to get surrounded by others which posed a problem in the future. He pushed out a dark energy that sleeved no purpose than to influence all things nearby to avoid him. The influence would be stronger on those closest to him.

Snarl. Hiss. MOAN.
These were the three sounds that echoed from the pack of hungry animalistic monsters that surrounded the human. Indeed, he managed to escape being eaten alive. But -- for how long? How long could just a mere human would little power last against a pack of empowered beast? Not very according to their estimates.
Burn. Fizzle. FOMP.
Those three words would describe what would occur to those whom were injured by the males combustive burst of pure fire power. Two of the creatures were hit with it and seemed to be taken out of the fight for the moment. Their skin was devoured in burning red flames, the bodies began to melt and they let out a god awful scream that made it sounds as if some sort of banshee dying.
It was enough to save him for the moment, but only enraged the ravished creatures further.
Since, due to these cries of distress, it attracted the attention of other Demiveta to the area. And, since they operated like a network of animals, it would only be a matter of time before reinforcements from the satanic tribe would come to find out why their own kind was in such pain.
Ergo, as he would come back to the ground, three of the seven creatures would then move on in order to hurl chunks of darkness towards the male. The blast of erupting shadows before him were, in fact, demonic burst of energy meant to send the male hurdling backwards into a tree nearby. They fired roughly a dozen of these each and the intention was to scorch, burn and injure him.
Hissing and moaning for joy, the others would soon join in and attempt to push him into the blast. For, while they were busy attacking from the front, two emerged from the shadow behind the human and aimed to maul into his shoulder blades while this conjoined attack was taking place. There was, of course, a small surge of fear pulsating within their hearts -- but it wasn't enough to stop them. After all, they were nearly brainless.
So, while The Demiveta weren't entirely too sure what this influence was, they didn't care. After all -- what could harm them? They were savages forged by a semi-divine creature. Through her blessing, they'd be able to tank anything that came. Therefore, all they were concerned about were two things: either turning this guy into their next five course meal, or getting him clear out of dodge and away from the city as apart of the effort of the on-going war taking place.
Hence, the choice of his future would be up to him. Even if he could somehow destroy these pest of hell, more would surely fill his place. And without proper back-up? This could turn into quite the dim aware for the lone, protag hero. Could he arise to the challenge and defeat them? Mother fate only knows.
Clap, strike -- BOOM!
As another surge of thunder and lightning filled the area, the backdrop for the males demise would at least be a glum and cold one -- at least should he not gather the with to properly cope with this situation he was under now.

Hizazel was proud of his attack but that feeling would be short lived as the creatures continued to attack him as if nothing happened. In fact more seemed to be fixated on his appearance than before which would continue to worsen his situation. He let out a deep sigh and looked around at the creatures. Blasts of black fire like energy would shoot towards him in large waves. He was able to dodge a few dozen of them as he shot back at the creatures, however two demons bit into his shoulders as he landed and prepared to create a large wall of fire.
He cried out in pain, which was quickly drowned out by the sounds of explosions from the impacts of the other demons attacks. The attack sent him hurtling towards the tree line and blood spilled from his shoulders as he was torn from the grip of the two demons. His mind set began to change as the feeling of pain filled his mind. Something he didn't like. The burst of terror continued to disperse around the area growing stronger in the bodies of the creatures as they continued to draw themselves closer.
Hizazel looked up with his snake like eyes and his tail erupted into an extremely large amount of flames as a giant axe formed and slammed into the ground hoping to cut a gap into the wave of creatures. The fire in his spilled to the ground and began to creep around him as if it was setting up a defense. "Staying on the ground is going to get me killed." He said to himself, but for now that was what he thought to be the best course of action for dealing with the creatures until he knew for sure what all they were capable of, didn't seem like much at the moment for if it was just one of them he'd have one already, but the sheer number of them was a nightmare like no other.
He slapped himself a bit as he began to refocus on the task. Thunder boomed behind him as the outcome of the fight seemed to come into view. The fight looked hopeless for Hizazel and it was likely that if anyone could see this people were already making preparations for his death, but this was the kind of fight he was waiting for. A fight where he would have to push himself past what he already is capable of in order to attain victory. A fight where no one was holding back on him. The fire on his hands and tail turned black as he punched his palm. "Don't think you've won already just because you've got in a couple of sneak attacks." He called as black chains began to spill from his hands and wrap around him.

In the gray predawn light chilling droplets of rain splattered Carter's hair. The past year or so he had been in hiding trying to figure out his purpose after his defeat in Malaysia. A surge of energy rippled through the air as the skies flashed a scarlet hue and the city before him became encased in a deep red dome, almost the color of blood. One would think it was protection from the demons sent to besiege the city, but not Carter. He had seen this before and knew that this meant one thing, the cattle had been round up and were ready for slaughter, each drop of blood leading to something horrific.
The short man stepped forward from the tree line just in time to watch a figure dart past him and race toward the city. The being wasn't hiding its presence at all and in Carter's angelic blue eyes he saw no evil in it, not at least in the demonic sense. All balls and no brains was the entity attacking the horde, rushing in with no thought of itself or how to sustain blow after blow it would receive from a fight with this many opponents. Carter himself couldn't judge being that he wasn't the most powerful gun in the armory, out of seven he was in fact the weakest, the thought alone causing a smirk to cross his face. seven angels and the weakest one shows up to fight, guess the others are on holiday he jested silently to himself, trying to remain calm but the small beads of sweat on the back of his neck reminding him of the fear inside.
The red lighting glinted off of his haidate, a lower section Japanese styled armor, the thigh guards tied around his waist and covering his thighs. These were made from rich white and gold cloth with small steel and leather plates of various size and shape, most either in a square pattern but dyed an amber and rose coloring with the white cloth under showing through, the other shapes being circles with seven stars set inside them in the gold and white coloring mentioned before. They were connected to each other by golden hexagonal chain and sewn to the cloth.
A long white robe the shifted in the wind as if it was made from the air itself played across his arms and shoulders covering his arm protection, the white fabric almost seeming to glow like a dim light, a beacon almost. His left hand resting on the hilt of his Zanpakutō Nacuto, he watched the creature, which he had no words for at the moment, be lit in black flame and come flying back into the tree line, rocks and dirt whipping up in the air in his wake. He wanted to wince for it but almost like and animal enraged it got back up without thinking and charged again. This was enough for him to step in, the creature was going to lose and in a very brutal way if it kept up this lone wolf style attack against a horde.
He followed in the thing's path forward keeping distance and his spirit pressure capped as best as he could, when the thing stopped and black chains manifested, wrapping themselves around its fore arms, Carter unleashed his spirit pressure directly behind the thing to throw the demons off, to make them in their dim wit think the lone fighter had suddenly become stronger instead of weaker before Carter himself leaped into the air, hanging for just a split second fifteen feet over the thing while unleashing Nacuto and roaring, "Malum Occidere, Expurgate Ferro." Before releasing the blade, white fissures appearing all down the viceroy styled long sword before shattering into innumerable fragments and vanishing. Carter landing lightly on his feet in the midst of the fight by the thing, his hands open but weaponless. "Do you understand how screwed we both are now?!" he asked it jokingly, already at peace with his fate while he waited for the onslaught to begin.

Hizazel took severeal deep breaths and began to except that he was more than likely going to die fighting these things. As they continued to charge him he was able to burn away a coupe of other demons, but there were too many of them to kill off. He fell to his knees and closed his eyes as the creatures closed in ever closer to him. Blood leaked from his entire body as wounds were scattered all across his body. He took a deep breath and released his superheated energy as his flames erupted outwards stretching out to burn the demons as much as possible before they fell upon him. He wasn't going to just go, these things were going to feel his anger.
Suddenly the demons began to scream as multiple were sawed and cut into pieces. Hizazel looked at the culprit as he fell before him as if it was nothing. "Whatever fate you're talking about." He said as he slowly stood up as he caught a second wind now that he obtained an ally. He took a fighting stance as he looked around his tail lazily waving behind him. Just as he was about to begin his retaliation a wave of butterflies appeared and began to float through the masses of demons. For a moment it was confusing and oddly peaceful, but that quickly changed when a chain of explosions began to ripple through the lines of demons heading towards the two in the center of their frenzy.
His white hair fell elegantly as he landed on the ground retracting his wings. A black cloak blew in the updraft caused by the waves of explosions. In his left hand he held a large paper cutter like blade with an extended blade. His yellow eyes scanning the large masses of demons as they continued to head in their direction. "What is going on if I may ask?" Sijel would speak positively as he continued to look at the demons around him. A chain of explosions went off once again as he continued to impare if not kill the creatures that towered before him.

THE FAMILIAR FORCE OF SHADOW FALL
DEMIVETA ASTHAVON
Song: Belladonna - Artist: Dojin Music - Words: 622
The wrath of an angel could be quite the fierce thing, could it not?
With the entrance of Carter on to the battlefield, most of the lower ranking Demiveta were dropping off like flies. Combined with the assistance Hizazel's efforts, the two were certainly beginning to make pathway in this cursed city. But, as their numbers dwindled, a negative effect became induced in the atmosphere around them. They were attracting attention and it was clear that Shadow Fall was going to send something foul their way in order to counteract this.
Thus, despite the wind and the air calming, there was a sense of ill nature stepping afoot upon this grave battlefield. For, as the sounds of clawed footsteps echoed in the distance, the approaching of a cluster of energy soon weighed itself down on the area where the two rebels stood. It was filled to the brim with ugly, foul and demonic aura behind it. The kind which rotted the earth around it, killed those too weak to resist it and tainted all which came into the contact with this wicked power.
Indeed, what was coming their way was a totally different beast than what the two had encountered earlier. (1-5) As, in this operation, it was considered the commander and leader of sorts due to it's barbaric prowess. And, after sensing and being informed of his lesser brethren being killed off -- it was clear what his objective was. This demonic spawn was here to extract vengeance and give these two a run for their money.
Thus, the sounds of footsteps increased and there was a sense of primal rage behind them. As, when they accelerated, the earth itself seemed to quake and trees were seen being obliterated in the distance as his eruption of power skyrocketed like a raging volcano. And, in the distance, flares of crimson and indigo light lit up the night sky to signify the rage of a powerful Demiveta.
With a thrust of his legs, this beast leaped forth into the air and came crashing back down to the earth with a hellish roar as he sought to smash the whole area where Hizazel and Carter stood. For, with his raw physical might, the monster could undoubtedly shatter and destroy an area comparable to three city blocks or so. Therefore, during the time it took for him to approach their vicinity, the two were instilled with the unspoken task of prepping for this beast. What they chose to do with this precious time would either make or break their encounter with this beast.
Since, as soon as he was finished with his introductory attack, the beast followed it up with numerous spires of darkness extended from his back. These spires vibrated at a high frequency and sought to be used as chainsaws meant to slash through the combatants bodies like freshly cut meat. If they were anywhere within a ten meter range, they would feel the slashing power of this attack and they would need to be fast on their feet in order to avoid it; or have some means to defend themselves if they intended to block this attack.
As, with these two actions, the second round of this war was on and their commander was more than a little enraged to find the sight of his fellow siblings dead by these two vermin. He was out for blood and he was going to do what he could to extract it.
