Oh what an exciting day!
The child that was the Queen of the Eastern Kingdom was more than excited for the events to come, as she normally didn't have friends, or family to share time with. As the young 7 year old Queen ran around her garden in anticipation for the events to come, she watched as butlers and maids set up a small table in the middle of a courtyard, near the fountain, and not far from Sanctuary. The garden was lined in many beautiful colors, as the Eastern Kingdom had a climate of warm temperatures, and the culture was all about nature there. Their flowers even glowed and radiated a welcoming aura about them, as those foreign to their beauty were mostly captivated by it. The fountain was a simple one that displayed many layers of marble and granite, flowing water in colors of blue and crystal, spouted from the top and poured in a relaxing tone, giving off a complete setting of welcoming and relaxation.
The reason for this?
The Queen of the North, Sidera Cruor was coming for a visit to the East in which to talk peace, and ensure that the diplomatic ties remained in check so that the people of the Sugiuran race would remain prosperous. Additionally, it was to discuss trade and whatnot, but to Mikoto, this was something different. To the young Queen of the East, she was seeing this as a Tea Party to talk about her experience and time within the Palace, as she was so bored, and didn't like to share much with Sabel or the other staff of the Kingdom. Additionally, Kasha, the Demon that resided within Mikoto and would come out from time to time, was currently making Mikoto feel bored, thus she and Kasha decided to go ahead and do their own thing for the day. Kasha ran off and decided to go terrorize the animals in the forrests surrounding the Eastern Kingdom, while Mikoto looked forward to this little tea party all day.
"Now now my Queen, you need to calm yourself, or you'll mess up your dress. Also you must remember the importance of this little meeting you're going to have with Her Grace from the North."
Sabel, the Head Adviser of the Queen, as well as Former General to the late Queen Misaiko, approached Mikoto while wearing the proper attire to look presentable. Mikoto was wearing a lovely spring dress, surrounded in frills and jewels, making her look as though she were a real beauty of the Kingdom. Jade and Emerald gems were the core attention of the outfit, as the green really went well with her violet eyes. Her hair was all in braids and looking very official of a young Queen, but since Mikoto was a young energetic and rambunctious child, she hated feeling confined within clothing very much.
Turning from hiding behind the bushes of watching the butlers and maids set up the table for the tea, she looked at Sabel there with a smile on his face. She never usually sees him smile at her, but it was because he was proud of her deciding to do this meeting. Normally Mikoto hated having official duties as a Queen, but the fact she volunteered her time to do so, really made Sabel believe that Mikoto was beginning to mature. This was also a great time for their relations to strengthen between the Kingdoms, and he was excited to see Mikoto's innocence prove that the East was beyond non-threatening.
"Do I really need to wear this? I mean, it's too tight... And too... Frilly..."
The young girl looked upset with the fact she was wearing such a beautiful dress that many would die to wear, yet to her, a good enough outfit was her white spring dress that she was notorious for wearing whenever she had free time. As she bowed her head a little in slight disappointment, Sabel couldn't help but chuckle as he responded to his Queen in kind.
"My Queen, do not worry. The Queen of the North would have no debate against your attire. Instead, I'm sure she'll be impressed by your appearance, and honored that you went through the trouble in which to look so proper for her appearance! I'm sure she'll be happy for it."
Mikoto was still disappointed in her attire selection, but for a moment she thought to herself. Would Sidera really be impressed with this? If she was, would she perhaps become a friend? Neviah didn't really know what to think for a moment as she was busy in her own mind, blushing at the thought of being complimented by someone who would be a friend to her. If anything, what she really wished was for the Tea Party to be fun, and for nothing to go wrong and make the nobles of the North despise her. Sabel just watched his young Queen act as cute as she always does as a little 7 year old, but just as Mikoto remained silent for a moment, thinking of what she should do in certain situations with Sidera, and informant arrived to share information with Sabel.
"Sir! The Guest has arrived!"
Sabel thanked the informant and turned to Mikoto, whos expression of disappointment shifted into excitement in a heartbeat. There were stars in her eyes, as she was so excited, she ran over to the table where the tea was to be presented, and awaited for her guest to arrive. All Maids and Butlers lining up on the side, ready to show respect and courtesy to the arriving Guest of Honor, and Mikoto standing at the end, with Sabel behind her, excited and ready for their guest to arrive, this was the day that Mikoto finally got to have her Tea Party.
