Platinum Hearts: Abridged Timeline And Series Special signups and rules

Hello all and welcome to Platinum Hearts Abrided Timeline And Series Special, or PHATASS for short.

In this Realm, there are several important things to note before even getting started.

1. Anything that happens to your characters here becomes either a meme or running joke. Deaths and injuries do not happen but, vague moments of deja vu and subliminal messaging will. Simply put, you're characters won't know why but they will have these running jokes and memes potentially available to them in their real IC timelines.

2. Most importantly, death is encouraged. Alot. There will even be a counter. Most deaths gets a Panda. Or something.

3. Everyone that signups up is both RPing and an Event Manager, meaning at times they will be asked to do something in threads they aren't RPing in.


Now, onto the real rules, guidelines, and details of this event!

You are not you but, somewhat like you.

Simply put, in this event, all characters RP'd will be RP'd as caricatures of themselves or, more simply stated, joke versions of themselves. What joke you decide to have them embody, is completely up to you. But, how do we get this to happen accurately and fairly so people don't hold back on the joke? That brings me to the next segment.

The Buddy System!

To ensure that everyone is in fact, Abridged to their maximum content, you will not be RPing your own character. Instead, when all characters are signed up, they will be randomly assigned to others in the event. It is your job to then give them Important links so they can learn about your dude/dudette and proceed to troll about as you, while you do the same with the character you are assigned! Exciting, I know

A New Challenger has appeared!

This unique rule has a separate area of signups. There will be a list of God Powers and God Weaknesses, Random Events and Memedoukens that will be listed and then, randomly assigned to everyone. These will be more thoroughly explained below however, when these are assigned, they must be obeyed in the event, even if it sucks. These are special little tidbits to ensure things don't get monotonous. Monotony is for scrubs.

A Wild Vegeta has appeared!

In addition to these characters listed, there will be a Randomite Generator run by a nonparticipating staff or event manager for random individuals to enter the thread. These will then be RP'd in their known abridged form or if none, create an abridged form.

Points for everyone!

In this unique turn of events, points and monies will be awarded on a per post basis. 500 AWP per post and 10,000 Yen per post and will be awarded to the individual upon their exiting the event. TWIST TIME! You earn the points for the owner of the character you are RPing, instead of yourself, and vice versa for someone RPing your character. This should encourage some posting I imagine

The ultimate nemesis and rival

One last note, each person will be assigned a nemesis/rival from the character list. All encounters with this individual are extra intense and can have special rules.

GOD POWERS!

• OVER 9000!: This God Power triggers anytime someone questions how strong you are or says they are stronger than you. Increase the power of your next attack by 9000 times.
  
  
• THIS IS SPARTA!: Triggered whenever someone calls you or your friends crazy or stupid. Kick accuser down an infinite well where they can't attempt to fly out for at least one post.
  
  
• Screw the rules, I have money: Triggered anytime someone calls you a cheater or accuses you of doing something the sneaky way. Instantly generate a large, Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon to attack your opponent.
  
  
• The Goku Button: Triggered anytime someone says your rival /nemesis is stronger than you. Instantly KO them with a gut punch.
  
  
• Pun Attack: Triggered freely anytime the opportunity for a bad pun arises. Is activated by starting a sentence, pausing before the pun to put on shades, and then say the pun while a scream sound effect triggers in the background. Others are momentarily facepalmed by this attack.
  
  
• SHARK ATTACK: Triggered anytime nothing at all is going on. Attack everyone with a giant shark out of nowhere biting and screaming in their faces.
  
  
• PH Science: Triggered anytime someone tries to explain or use a convoluted power. Causes everyone to attack the user of the power for no known reason.
  
  
• THIS ISN'T EVEN MY FINAL FORM!: Triggered anytime you are transformed, but not fully transformed into your ultimate state. Immediately transform into your ultimate form, even if you're character doesn't have access to it.
  
  
• Claire Time!: Triggered anytime someone tries to use their strongest attack against you. Negate it and then proceed to do the choreography for Can't Touch This.
  
  
• SHORYUKEN!: Triggered anytime someone tries to attack you from Above. Counter with a super powerful flying uppercut that knocks them into space while yelling Shoryuken.
  
  
• Charging my Lazors: Triggered anytime you try to use an incredibly strong attack that takes time to charge. Everyone must watch you do this without interrupting until the technique is complete. You must be yelling "HAAAAA!" the entire time while charging.
  
  
• I AM THE WHITE MAGE!:Triggered anytime you try to heal someone. Instantly brings them back to full power and life, even if they are dead. While healing you are invincible to everything.
  
  
• I WANNA BE THE VERY BEST/Legendary Super Saiyan!: Triggered anytime you try to make a grand speech about your goals or about what you represent. Doing this, music will cue and everyone will facepalm as they are forced to listen without interrupting.
  
  
• Kaioken!: Triggered anytime you are stuck in a technique deadlock or grappling deadlock. Immediately Yell Kaioken and immediately overpower the opponent even if you are out of power. Can be used multiple times up to Kaioken times 5. Must yell out what Kaoiken you are using while doing this.
  
  
• Super Long Attack Go!: Triggered anytime you have a multiple syllable or very long technique name. Opponent must listen to you use it while you use it very slowly. Techniques power is increased further for each post it takes you to use it.
  
  
• GO EXODIA!: Triggered anytime you lock your opponent into a planned out, convoluted trap. Instantly KO them with a giant Exodia, The Forbidden One while explaining the trap in detail.
  

GOD WEAKNESSES

• The Owned Counter: Triggered anytime you lose a fight. A number will forever be held above your head of the number of times you have been owned.
  
  
• Say You're Sorry: Triggered anytime you defeat an opponent. You will ask them if they are sorry for what they done. If they are, you must let them retreat or sucker punch you.
  
  
• Speech Interrupted: Triggered anytime you try to make a long speech. You will be interrupted by a flying pie to the face.
  
  
• Yamcha Syndrome: Triggered anytime you are in a fight. You will be the first to die. No matter what. Even if a technique kills someone else, it will kill you first for no reason.
  
  
• Evil Villain Reverse Victory! Triggered anytime you are about to win a fight. You will stop and give your opponent time to power up and hit you with their strongest attack.
  
  
• Nosebleed of death: Triggered anytime you see a hot chic/dude shirtless or wearing revealing clothing or flaunting body parts. You will bee rocketed away via a jet stream of blood coming out of your nose.
  
  
• Blasting Off Again!: Triggered anytime you are hit by an explosive technique. You are immediately rocketed into space.
  
  
• Believe it!: Triggered anytime you try to do a nice guy pose or say something epic, it will be hated and thought of as annoying and cause facepalms.
  
  
• Go Clucky!: Triggered anytime you try to someone something. Instead, it will just be a chicken.
  
  
• Overpower: Triggered anytime you try to charge up a strong attack. You will explode, violently.
  
  
• You activated my Trap Card: Triggered anytime you try to attack someone before they attack you. Their next attack will succeed and yours will fail, no matter what.
  
  
• Crickets: Triggered anytime you try to make a clever joke. Crickets will flood the area all over you, chirping incessantly.
  
  
• Baby Rukia: Triggered anytime someone hits you with a technique that hurts. You immediately transform into Baby Rukia for one post.
  
  
• Grape Flavored: Triggered anytime someone tries to heal you. Because it tastes grape flavored, your body rejects it.
  

Random Events

All Random Events are triggered when a Manager or Staff posts saying as such in a thread.

• Distraction: Immediately, a unicorn appears. It is pretty and you immediately jump on it and try to ride it.
  
  
• Cake: For once, the Cake is real. It appears before you and you must eat it.
  
  
• Sneak Attack: A random individual sucker punches you yelling SNEAK ATTACK
  
  
• Ginyu Force: You immediately break out into a dramatic, choreographed dance and pose while stating who you are.
  
  
• I Choose You: Immediately summon a random Pokemon.
  
  
• Hype Man: You immediately start bragging about someone else in the thread and how badass they are.
  
  
• Brodown: Immediately challenge someone else to a Bro Down by constantly chest pumping them and yelling "You wanna Go Bro? Let's Go Bro!"
  
  
• Magic Mike/Michelle: Strip down to nothing but a thong(And bra if female) and begin grinding on everyone.
  
  
• I Banish you to the Shadow Realm!: For no reason at all, you are banished. To the, umm. Shadow Realm. Yea. You return after 3 other posts from others.
  

MEMEDOUKEN!

Memedoukens are, in addition to you playing the character as they are, you apply this overly exaggerated meme to one of their traits or themselves and RP as this the whole time.

• Big Eater: You are obsessed with food. As such, you will eat inhuman portions, always make food metaphors and analogies, and most of you're general conversation will reference or mention food in some way.
  
  
• Big Idiot: Your intelligence is stupidly low. You have a hard time pronouncing basic things, forming solid sentences, and understanding most things.
  
  
• Saiyan Prince: You are a big asshole because of your belief in your noble blood. Whatever it is, you believe because of your noble upbringing that everyone else is beneath you. You are also the prince of all, whatever your race is.
  
  
• Yami/Yugi: You have two personalities. One that is completely oblivious and childlike, known as the Yugi state. And one that is incredibly dashing, intelligent, sophisticated, and a brilliant tactician. This is your Yami State.
  
  
• I pick things up and put them down: You are obsessed with your ginormous muscles. Everyone else is is a little Girly Man. And you always ask if they even lift. No matter what. Your Pecs size is tripled.
  
  
• Spoiled little princess: You do nothing for yourself and expect everyone to do things for you and to get you nice things.
  
  
• The Loner: You hate people and prefer the company of no one. You're favorite hangouts are abandoned plains, forests, and other places where you stand by yourself ominously.
  
  
• DODGE!: Simply put, you are unable to dodge any attack. N o matter what, but will always brag about how nothing can hurt you.
  
  
• True Hero: You are overly heroic. You make big speeches, you are the hope of the universe and you protect the weak.
  
  
• Bad attacks: You will always use your attacks in the worst ways or give them horrible names but act like your a badass when you 'I intended to miss'.
  
  
• Save Me: You are the ultimate coward. You will always hide behind someone and are only brave and try to fight when others are around.
  
  
• But mom!: You are overly motherly and protective of a random character in every thread you are in, even if you don't know them.
