Warmth. That was the first thing that the duo of young girls would notice as they made their dimensional jump between Karakura Central to the Iramasha Settlement. It was much more humid, hot and oh-so summer like in these lands as compared to the city. Which, ironically, was just fine to The Angel of the Ice. For as she appeared out of the cluster of crystal blue light, the frozen fairy 'gal truly didn't seem to mind the heat much. And -- you wouldn't either if you were able to constantly generate a field of frigid air around yourself. It was like having mobile air conditioning; one of the perks of possessing winter-esque abilities!
Regardless, as soon as the light faded from their vision, they'd come to realize that they had otherwise transported themselves to a sandy beach. There were nothing but palm trees, clear skies, ocean blue waters and small island homes for as far as they could see. And -- this was perfect! The reason why this location was ideal was because it was more isolated and away from the denser populations of the isle. So, that otherwise meant that Cirno could train her to her hearts content with a high chance of being interrupted. While, at the same time, being able to enjoy the summer sights of the beach and amuse herself with mother nature!
Seriously, again, you'd think this child would loathe the heat, but you'd be dead wrong. Digressing, The Angel of The Ice would let go of Kazumi's hand at this point. As, it can be assumed they safely made the jump and she would leap into the air with joy as she soaked up the UV rays.
"=w= Welcome to Iramasha Island. This is where your training will begin, Miss Kazumi!"
With a shout of pure of excitement, Cirno seemed rather happy to be here as she did her stretches to get the blood flowing in her body. After she was done with that, The Iramasha would turn her blue stare back to the likes of her golden haired friend and smile.
"I suppose the first thing I should do is give you some fire to work with. Right now? Yeah, you've got no flare in ya. Once I share a bit of my energy with you, you'll have a good power source to work from to build yourself up with! =w="
Of course, Cirno assumed a lot of this would go over her new student's head, so she would simply form a sphere of white light in her hands. This would contain a small sum of power in comparison to the volumes of energy that Cirno possessed in her body, but it would be more than enough to at least boost Kazumi's tier from 5-5 to 4-5 rather easily. Of course, she may feel like a freight train just railed her over, but The Angel of The Ice was willing to have her endure those side effects.
"Now, you may feel a little weird, but I promise everything is under control. I'm just giving you some of my energy to help make you a tad bit stronger. I'm scared to put too much into it, so I can assure that ya' be overcooked. =w="
Having said those oh-so-assuring words, The Angel of The Ice would then walk towards Kazumi and attempt to infuse this light into her body. While looking up at her, she'd then state one more important detail:
"Oh, I also won't force it on ya. So if you aren't comfortable with this, then all you have to do is use your willpower to reject it and it will go away. I won't put you through anything uncomfortable unless I felt like it could help ya, you know?"
Sounding a bit more serious then before, The Angel of The Ice was more straight-forward with her intents because she wanted to live up to the title of a heroine and heroines don't allow those under their watch to get hurt or killed. So, depending on the response Kazumi gave, she would either return it or go forward with the first phase of their training. The choice was entirely up to the human girl to decide.

Kazumi had unconsciously planted the thought in her head that the two would disembark from the crowded street and head for a quieter part of town. Teleportation never entered her mind though it should’ve been a possibility present in her mind given the nature of Cirno Iramasha. Though, to be fair she knew nothing about her saviour beyond what she had displayed during their short interaction. She no doubt believed that she would get to know the century old angel some more since she was her self-defense teacher, but that really didn’t help her in this present moment.
Cirno had stated that she would be taking her to an island named after those spiritual beings she knew nothing about after claiming her right hand. She really hadn’t the time to protest or question where this settlement was as she was engulfed by blue light along with the angel. Kazumi wasn’t sure what the angel was doing, but she could ask later if she was capable of remembering that upon reaching the settlement. There was actually a whole lot of questions the high-school student needed to ask Cirno, but such questions would need to wait for a perfect time before they were asked. Again, that’s if she could remember them.
She wasn’t sure how long it had taken Cirno to transport them from one area to another, but she did take note of several things upon the dimensional jump - she didn’t know they jumped dimensions, yet - such as the warmth and the fact they had gone from the slums to a beach. Kazumi blinked several times as she took in the new scenery. She was, obviously, awestruck by the entire area for this had been her first time at a beach. She had seen pictures of the place and even imagined going to one when she was younger, but she never imagined it could look so beautiful. Despite being use to the city and nothing but the city, she wasn’t counting the several occasions she had been to the slums, Kazumi could envision herself living in a place like this. Too bad her father would never allow it and that thought definitely put a damper on her mood.
Kazumi noted that she was thinking more and more of how unfair and controlling her father was with each passing day. It wasn’t something she was use to doing since she was the daughter that strived to maintain the family reputation and she wasn’t really sure she liked the feeling or not. So, she decided to shove those thoughts to the back of her mind and focus on attention on Cirno instead. Though the awed expression had been wiped from her face, she maintained a smile as her eyes drifted over to the clearly excited angel. She believed she had missed several things whilst she had been lost in thought and she hoped Cirno didn’t think she was being ignored since that wasn’t her intentions. She made another mental note to pay attention to her teacher as she listened to the blue-haired angel speak.
She didn’t really understand what Cirno meant by give her some fire, but the angel would clear up any confusion the teen had rather quickly. Her eyes would drift over to the white light the child formed, her mind quickly figuring out what the light was based on the words of the blue-haired child. Kazumi raised an eyebrow as she continued to examine the white sphere, though her eyes would quickly snap back to Cirno’s face the moment she started speaking again. She wished to ask how weird, but she felt like that was a stupid question to ask given how subjective the answer would be. So, she simply decided to allow the energy to be inserted into her body and if she didn’t like the feeling, she would request Cirno to remove it if possible. The angel’s words did well to ease any lingering reservations she had and so she continued to smile at the angel.
“You’ll be the first to know.”
With those words having come from her mouth, the energy had been inserted into her body and boy she wasn’t ready for it. She immediately felt heavier than she had ever been in her life and her mind tried to figure out how energy could do that. She did note that despite feeling like someone had thrown weights her way, she did feel stronger than she was a second ago. Kazumi wasn’t really sure how she would apply this new strength since felt like it would be a harder to move until her body got use to it, but it did feel nice. She could see why some people actively sought this sort of power. “Amazing.”

Great relief. That was the first sentiment that eased on into the Angel Iramasha as she witnessed the sphere of light press on into Kazumi. This is because it meant that the first phase of their training and self-defense lessons could fully begin. And, to not see her new friend a bloodied mess was also a bonus. After all, there was always that chance that her body could have rejected the energy.
So, after counting her lucky stars, Cirno would give a congratulatory thumbs up the sight of Kazumi still standing and breathing before her. Sure, things must've been moving way too fast for the girl to keep up with, but that's just the nature of The Ice Fairy. Always in a hurry, always moving fast and always rushing towards the next thing. It was hard for her to sometimes sit still, enjoy the scenery and let things flow slowly.
For this reason is why she then started to reflect a bit her hastiness and tried to allow time for the energy to further acclimate to her body. There was no doubt that there was at least some minor side effects plaguing the girl. As, more than anything else, Cirno could tell when someone was in pain and it looked as if her facial expression screamed: "HELP, I JUST HIT BY A TWO TON TRUCK!"
Even a naive child like Cirno could read that body language.
But, alas, she must've felt entirely empowered by all of that. So, Cirno would then begin walking towards the ocean and motioned for Kazumi to follow.
"You should follow me, Track-Rack. You are gonna need a little bit for that energy to make sense to your body. As right now, ya' body is most likely freaking out due to how much of a boost I gave it."
With that having been said in a whimsical tone, as if it were another day on the Beach, The Angel Of The Ice would then plop down on the sand in a gentle thud. Then she remember: oh yeah -- they were on a beach. So, she'd let out a small chuckle at this internal joke that passed over before looking over towards the shining sea with a smile.
"Hmmmm, Kazumi, I think this will help bring out whatever superpower your body has. Everyone in the world who has cool powers often starts by having energy."
Closing with a rosy smile and a cherry soft laugh, the Angel of The Ice seemed rather positive and assured that this pathway to strength and self-defense was the right way to go. So, she would provide a demonstration of what she meant by summoning a trace amount of her own energy to the surface. In the lands beneath her feet -- light started to emerge. It was a silver light and soon it started to levitate small chunks of sand no greater than a handful at best.
"I feel the reason a lot of people seek power is because it allows for miracles to take place. And in this world...many spirits look for that because things are pretty horrible."
Bit by bit, the over hyperactive eyes of the Iramasha dimmed and a softer look eased on into them. It was if she seemed at peace with something, but there was still a dull melancholy behind those expressions. Curling her legs up to her chest, The Iramasha let out a relaxed sigh and continued on as the specs of beach sand started to form floating beige castles around them.
"People want to feel safe. They want to feel....strong. Many of them....just want happiness. If power it is what it takes to get that happiness...then they will get it no matter what. And to me...I feel that is right...and wrong. It is why I decided to help you because I could sense that maybe you wanted that happiness to. But...if only to protect yourself from those who would use it in the wrong way."
There were pauses in the girls speech as she tried to learn how to better form these words. It wasn't that she didn't know what was on her mind, but it seemed difficult to express them properly with words. So, she formed another plot of sand above their castles and it was black in color due to her energy dying it in that shade with a simple magical spell. In this sand of darkness, Cirno formed it into a ball and had it crash into the sand castles before them and crush it.
"Just like many of the people of this planet and many others have done. Power is suppose to be a miracle that makes people happy, but I've learned that it can also cause great sadness and fear."
Blinking for a moment, the Angel would cease in her speaking and flash back to some of the conflicts she herself had been apart on Earth. Remembering all those burning buildings, ruined lives and corpses that littered the streets in endless war; Cirno sighed and knew that it wasn't right. It -- just wasn't. And she certainly wasn't helping matters. So maybe, just maybe, if she could make it up bit by bit by helping the people of this planet -- maybe she could atone for that.
Hence, it is with a easy going and relaxed smile that The Angel of The Ice would turn around and look at Kazumi.
"So, it is up to people like myself who fight for justice to help protect that. And that is why I wanted to help you. Maybe you can become a protector justice...even if it is just protecting yourself at school and making sure the people you care about are safe. That is what Angel's are suppose to do for mankind."
And with that, a big teeth smiled appeared across the child's lips as she finished her statements and hoped Kazumi would understand why she gave her this new start.
