The Radioactive Shark Versus The Hybrid King [PLATINUM HEART TOURNAMENT ARC]
Fri Jun 19, 2015 8:47 pm
The Stage Has Been Set! Azure Iramasha and Radioactive are going to go toe to toe in an Arena fit for the gods. In the first phase of the fight, the two will be facing off in a Barren Wasteland of sand and cement. Long roads of asphalt and parking lots as far as the eye can see. No buildings, no weapons to pick up, simply their own bodies to go at with. The 2nd phase of the fight will consist of an ocean biome and a large beach surrounded by pine trees. The ocean is nearly endless to the naked eye while the other side of the beach is surrounded by what could be explained as a tropical rain forest. The 3rd phase of this face off will be taking on what could only be described as an expansive city area. Skyscrapers, mom and pop shops, and just about anything the a normal city could contain could be within the outskirts of this empty metropolis. The 4th and final phase will be within a large stadium. Thousands of rows of chairs, large light posts and a huge stadium built with nothing but cement and stone. These areas can be altered by any staff that deem it acceptable and will thus decide when the phases are active. Each phase can be activated whenever a staff member likes and each one can be repeated if wanted. With that being said, let a Clash of The Gods begin. Azure Versus Radioactive now commences!

Today was a grand day, was it not? This tournament was a gathering of the strong and it would prove to serve as an opportunity for the primal nature of the beast to awaken once more. Therefore, when word spread of it, The Nuclear Hulk of Russia had no choice but to put his foot into the ring and do what he can in order bring out this nature of primordial spirit in both himself and any foe he comes across.
So it is with those thoughts that the Platinum Heart listened to his desires and gave him a battleground befitting such a berserker. After he had accepted this challenge, the Platinum Heart had transported him to a vast and endless desert of sand, concrete and -- parking lots. What? The Nuclear Giant could only let off a hard laugh at the sight he was met with. You'd figure with all the power this thing was fabled to had that it could have produced a more wondrous scenery or something.
Ah well. It wasn't like Radioactive was going to complain and whine about the setting of his fight. No. What mattered more to him was going to be the nature of his opponent and what they could bring to the table. And, if they possessed something variant, he'd need to put his own gifts to the forefront and grant them the same release they would give him. That was simply the code Radioactive personally fought by -- at least with opponents that were worth his time.
Should this foe prove to be a coward, manipulative or otherwise deceitful? Well, he'd get this fight over with as soon as he could possibly do it. And, for someone with enough power to bring an entire race nearly to extinction? That's a very credible and plausible reality. Radioactive had no patience for fights that would not result in something being gained, a force being awakened or his opponent and himself being brought to a level of spiritual, physical or mental evolution. If this next opponent could not bring their full selves to the battle and commit to the fight? Then he would simply decimate them and move on to the next match.
At any rate, there wasn't much to do here but prep for the battle. Therefore, as a harsh and hot wind blew over the air, the golden and unkempt locks of The Giant's hair flapped against the gusty current of air as he breathed in and out slowly. Despite being known for his savage and hulk-like battle style, a sense of control and calmness still existed within the berserker. This was seen in the way he remained immensely still as the winds around him accelerated, the heat intensified to smothering amounts and numerous strikes of deadly lightning struck down in the arena around him.
In spite of this savage storm brewing around him, the male remained completely still and in control. Soon, after a few moments had passed, the harsh pressure of an oppressive gravity still surged in the area, but it was far more serene than before as a glow of golden light emerged from the overcast skies. This wasn't a freak act of nature as opposed to it being produced by the unstable energies that lay within Radioactive's body. While he reveled in the aura of the primal beast, he could not let such an unleashed creature actively maintain his senses. Therefore, he needed to control it and become one with the beast; as opposed to letting his powers control him.
So as the rays of sunlight flowed down upon the scarred and bare chest of Radioactive, he felt that sense of warmth and security ooze over himself. Regardless of how thoughtless others believed his fighting style to be, there was a great sense of discipline and command to it than one would assume could come from such a barbaric fighter. Due to the unnatural way his powers developed in forming an artificial shikai and bankai, he has always had to fight to keep this grotesque power from consuming him alive. It took many years of practice to properly wield and manage his powers before he could reach this point of superb mastery.
Yet, even with that being the case, the primal spirit of the shark always lurked behind every corner. Waiting, anticipating and willing to devour his spirit whole should he slip and lose his will to fight. Therefore, to combat this force, Radioactive became not only more savage than the beast he tamed, but more resolved and understanding of both his own and the inner-shark's abilities. Thus, as he spread his bare feet across the flaming hot pavement, another content sigh escaped his lips and that toothy grin of his slowly started to emerge.
He seemed to be in quite the good mood because the activation of his nuclear core was cleared to go. All instabilities were locked and a surge of great power roared across the plains like a rocket taking off into space. It caused his raven shaded pants to flare up and flail against this strong and blazing hot wind. With his golden eyes locked on the sights before him, all that he needed now was for his opponent to arrive. Once that person was ready to unveil themselves to him, The Nuclear Giant would be set to take that explosive energy which lays within his soul to the surface to give yet another dynamic performance for all those watching.
Taking a glance upwards, a holographic screen emerged and the name of this character came to life in neon white text:
"Azure Iramasha VS Radioactive: MATCH BEGINNING...."
So -- that was the name of his foe, huh? He had heard it somewhere before during his travels of earth. Something about that Vanguard organization surface, but he never paid them much mind. Those people seemed gungho about bringing radical change to the living realm, but Radioactive didn't care much about protecting anything besides his beloved motherland of Russia.
Digressing, if this foe was strong enough to lead an organization of that caliber, then he had high expectations off the bat and expected to be entertained greatly if this person possessed the correct spirit to fight him. So, all that was required now was to wait and hope that the gods themselves gave him a worthy battle.
"Come forth, Iramasha...."
