The Kora A'ina of Yina was a weapon of great destructive power and spiritual energy. It was created from the instability of the embers of hell itself following Demonic Incursion; and it nearly caused the corruption of the Soul Society. Therefore, it goes without saying that this sphere possessed a great deal of power within its contents. Ergo, one can assume that this strength would greatly bolster the capacities of Reigen to otherwise help him unlock more of his potential.

By harmonizing with his frequency for greed and power, The Kora A'ina has developed the following techniques and abilities for Reigen to use:

» Tier Boost: One of the initial benefits will see from the Kora A'ina of Yina is that its wealth of energy will exceed his capacities to new heights. Since its wealth of power is being merged with his own, it isn't out of the question that he'll see a tier increase from 1-1 to 0-5. Therefore, this will take all of his skills and attributes to a new level following the complete infusion of this equipment.

» Sustaining Hunger: This is considered to be a passive ability of Reigen's core of greed. Sustaining Hunger allows Reigen to otherwise forgo the need to feast on physical meals, water or other means of subsistence. Instead, The Essence of Avarice provides his lifeline and has granted him a form of Semi-immortality. As long as its energy is pumping within the veins of Reigen, it can allow him to live for an eternity on his own source of greed. This doesn't mean that he cannot be killed in combat, but it is possible for him to have an infinite lifespan if he is not murdered.

» Greed's Call: Another passive ability, this one allows Reigen to otherwise pick up on the frequency of greed, gluttony and hunger within a range of one to two miles when pushed. It works similar to an Arrancar's Pesquisa, but works more so on perceiving instances of greed within a persons actions or aura. Hence, this Core of Greed is able to send out a pulse into the area and then a returning pulse is given back to Reigen to otherwise alert him of such occurrences in the environment around him.

» Essence Of Avarice: The Kora A'ina Of Yina, by this point, has uncovered a plethora of understanding when it comes to the spiritual frequency of Reigen's body. Through this comprehension, The Kora A'ina was able to otherwise lock on to his affinity for greed and take it a step further. By merging itself with The Immoral Dealer, the sphere has unlocked an ability that allows him to otherwise feast off his greed and others.

The way this ability works is similar to how a human would absorb vitamin D in the sun. Whenever there are large volumes of greed assembling within a space of one thousand meters, The Essence Of Avarice will pick up on it and attempt to absorb the quantities of greed into its core. This can be determined by honing in on the emotions of desire or the actions of gluttony. One such example would be if there was an instance where one was taking more power than they needed. This case would prove true when dealing with augmentation abilities, as The Essence Of Avarice would pickup on that desire for more power and mimic it to feed Reigen.

This then follows the active stage of the consumption process. After soaking up the aura of greed over a duration of one post, for a period of five post, Reigen can see improvements of his physical and spiritual abilities improve two fold. This can spread down to his racial attributes, unique powers and things such as speed, durability or physical strength.

Furthermore, bits of excess energy is also stored passively into his body to activate other attributes and abilities associated with The Kora A'ina.

» Armor Of Greed: This is a defensive ability that is fueled by The Essence of Avarice and feeds off its greed energy. Essentially, The Armor Of Greed is an energized construct that is forged from Reigen's Inner Core of Greed. It can be summoned in any length, width or area expanding upwards of three hundred meters on average and five hundred when pushing it. It will often have some sort of green glow to it as it is called for by Reigen. Then when it is summoned, its unique ability will allow Reigen to shield himself from attacks that are fueled by excess desire.

For instance, if Reigen were to encounter a massive energy attack that was empowered by a user with profound ambition, there would be a high chance that he could otherwise negate a good deal of damage from the opponent. This is because The Essence of Avarice can pick up on the wavelength of greed within a persons energy frequency and create its own metaphysical wall to block that greed from harming Reigen.

Now, this isn't an absolute-type of ability. The reason for this is that there may be cases where Reigen will be able to block a great deal of an attack, but bits and pieces of its effect will seep pass the barrier anyway. Such as taking a powerful Grand Ray blast and nulling around sixty to seventy percent of its damage. Which, in turn, would result in minor to noticeable injuries to Reigen.

Furthermore, physical attacks have a much better chance of penetrating this shield than energy, magic or other types of supernatural attacks. The reason for this is because it is more natural in origin and much harder for The Essence of Avarice to really fixate on. So, hand-to-hand negations will be minimally effected by this; if not outright improbable for more advanced physical-based combatants.

Other limitations include the fact that it can only be used two times per post. This is because it will always take a fair amount of energy from Reigen and it isn't an ability meant to be spammed. Rather, its to get out of critical situations or at least attempt to alleviate them.

» Vest Of Greed: This is an offshoot technique of the abilities associated with Armor of Greed. By directing the ember aura of his greed energy, Reigen can engulf himself with a burning emerald fire and use it as a full-body shield to protect himself from various energized, magical and other supernatural attacks. This can be activated for a period of three to five post, but it will create a three post cooldown. This is often used if he wants to maintain an active usage of Armor of Greed.

» Snatching Desire: Snatching Desire is classified as an offensive means of attack from The Essence of Avarice. This attribute awakened when The Kora A'ina detected the wavelengths attached to Reigen's Chain of Greed power. When becoming aware of this possessive element, it created a version of that ability which took The Chain of Greed's effect into a more incorporeal form. Therefore, this Snatching Desire It is associated with the concept of theft and its connection to greed. For one who steals may be one whose greed desires more for themselves and less for others.

So, this ability allows Reigen to mark upwards of a three hundred to six hundred meter radius with his energy. Once the area has been marked, it is then subjected to Reigen's Greed Aura and his excess desire can take various concepts and elements from the area. When this occurs, there is a two post duration where Snatching Desire is able to mimic these construct for The Demon to use as he sees fit.

For instance, Reigen can use Snatching Desire to mark the earth beneath him and use it against his opponent. He'd be able to adjust the terrain around them, generate earthquakes, form massive rocky shields from the ground and other varying elements associated with earth-based techniques. Or, in another example, he can influence his desire to the heavens themselves and produce hurricane force winds, lightning strikes from the sky and adjustments to the temperatures in the area.

So, due to this being quite the heavy ability, Reigen would only be able to use two applications of this when Snatching Desire is in effect. So, for that two post duration, he could use these mimicking elements of Earth and Wind, but that is it. Additionally, there is often a one post cool down period before he can use it again. Ergo, this is a power to use when he wants to strike with iron and confuse the opponent by utilizing unforeseen techniques from the land around him.
