The Silver Lining[Closed W/ Blade]
Thu May 14, 2015 4:52 pm
After exiting a certain white building giving his application to a young women with pity in her eyes he wanted to do whatever he could to help, but Shinwoo was saddened and vexed. As he had seen previously his strength was no where to being close enough to deal with the evil that infected his world. He could defeat thugs, gangsters and maybe even military, but he had finally realized that his strength wasn't enough. His last true fight showed him exactly that. Compared to the overwhelming opposition compared to a tsunami that was the evil in this world all he can be is a pebble sized wave, and that put him at a loss. His entire life he worked on his martial arts and building his body physically, but it all wasn't enough. The only time he ever had a glimmer of hope a powerful women attempted to reach out for him in order to help him get training. It only ended in disappointment. It ended with him being looked over and discarded as trash.
Now he had attempted to formally become something that could defend everyone and looking into the eyes of that young women the sympathy was really just twin spears that slowly and grotesquely impaled him. The end result was obvious to him and at this point he had no idea what he could do. He could join a normal army, but it would never be enough to make a real difference. He slowly strut to the perimeter of the building's land and at this point all he could do is return to Karkura Central. He was at a loss of direction, but still held a glimmer of hope. A silver lining to an overbearingly depressing outlook to it all. That women who saved his life opened his eyes to what is possible and even near death he still saw what she was capable of. Some day he would be capable of the same and he would return the favor
Just barely going outside of the perimeter of the area surrounding the white building with his hands in his pockets he looked up at what he just realized was the bluest sky he had ever seen, and probably the closest he had ever been to it.
*What a beautiful sky*
He thought to himself. Knowing that even if this trip was a wasted one in the context of joining the Vanguard then he would have at least seen the most beautiful sky. So he took a seat locked his hands and just stared above at the vast and beautiful sky.
