Facing The Outer Sanity [Hebi vs Akat] [The Black World Arc Series]
Mon Mar 16, 2015 3:13 pm
-Doctor Kabuto Hebi-
Standing over the crescent hillsides, the being known as the Doctor, Kabuto Hebi, looked straight upwards. He was down on one knee, one hand drawing back his sleeve as he revealed the black watch he always wore, pressing down onto its face as an image of binoculars appeared, before hitting onto it once again as the binoculars appeared in a silent puff of smoke.Slowly, he looked straight upwards, his binoculars attached to his face as his sight was increased exponentially. These binoculars projected spiritual mirrors which could not be observed through visible or spiritual means, allowing for the user's sight to be expontentially increased. He was using this to scout the area that he was currently within. His eyes somberly observed the structure before him, before he stood up, a drop of blood dripping down from the corner of his right eye.
"I summon… the Four Paths." He pronounced, as his hands began to dart into several signs, before placing his palms down onto the ground. As he did so, a burst of smoke cascaded out around his body, his form rising to straighten his spine as the face of the man once known as Nagato appeared by his side. The Animal Path was to his left side, the Consuming, or Hungry Ghost, Path at his back, and the Hell Realm before him. Just as instantly as they had appeared, the four vanished with a Sonido, rapidly gaining distance from the Doctor as they each took up a corner of the super structure.
"...Hmm… if you're like me…" The Doctor muttered to himself as he let out a small smile at the Inverted World around him. The truth was, the Doctor could not allow for such a thing to exist as an 'inverted version' of himself. When he had entered the Inverted World to study it, he had discovered its properties, and immediately went to seek the part of him which had 'escaped'. An aspect which he had long kept hidden, under wraps; the only true 'personality' which he did not allow to surface… ever.
It was something which he loathed; after all, it was the inverse of himself. The Sir Akat, the condescending Eagle. That was the target whom he was now pursuing, and was the one who he would slay and revive as an Edotensei before absorbing him into his own body, stealing from him all that made him himself. The Doctor truly, truly loathed the idea of this man. After all, the man he was targeting had no creativity. He was extremely, extremely prideful. And most of all, he had no honor, looking down on everything else, creating a tower which stared down at everything else, looking down on it and believing itself to be worth so much more.
The Doctor despised it.
And he knew that the being cooped up at the top of that tower, seeking the company of none, felt the same about himself. "Well, that's fine then!" The Doctor called out as he finally threw both hands down into the ground, preparing to launch the Wartime Barrier at last… [End Prologue]

[Part One: The Eagle and the Snake] As his hands pressed down into the ground, the Doctor's body had another person appear before him. This person shot forwards, their right hand cascading forwards as it balled tightly into a fist, smashing it against the Doctor's face as it threw its other hand out to the side, drawing out a longsword as with a flourish it sliced across the Doctor's body, attempting to bifurcate him. The Doctor's own mouth opened wide in surprise before his head vanished, reappearing a few centimeters behind where it had been as he opened his mouth, a tornado of Wind Element firing out as it thrust the fist off course, his hand reaching below his belt for his Aritficial Zanpakutō as he threw it upwards into the slash of his adversary, the clash of metal being heard as the two stared at one another's eyes. The brief moment was paramount. The being known as the Eagle, the Hawk… Sir Akat of the Inverted World. Before him, holding back his attack, was the Doctor, Kabuto Hebi. One was dressed in flowing white armor, shoulder plates, chest plate, and even a belt aligned with various metals adorning his body. The other wore simply a dark red cloak, with black pants on underneath and sandals on his feet. The hair of one was perfectly sculpted, flowing back behind his head in an elegant mane, his face free of blemish. The other's head was like an unruly mop, his hair tossed and whipped about by the flow of pure pressure pushed against him, his round-rimmed glasses pushing into the marred, scaled flesh of his face. And like that, the two broke apart. The Sir moved quickly as his body shot to the right, running in an arc with a flap of his wings as he reached speeds that he himself could not accurately track, his right foot thrusting itself forwards as it shot into the Doctor's back, before following with several stabs into his shoulders. The Doctor's body surged as he let out a breath at the sudden experience of pain as his unprotected back had several holes placed into it, even as another burst of wind, followed by flame, thrust him away from his opponent, wincing as his sandals thrust against the ground, dragging sand and kicking up dust as he was pushed back, his eyes turning up as he obtained the location of his opponent. He saw him perfectly before, but had wanted to know exactly what he would do. Cowardly… One part of his mind told him, even as he thrust his blade forwards. "Slither, Sunēkusunappu~" With that exultation, his blade became absolutely massive, the Sir's eyes following its rotations as he flipped his body around, his majestic white wings allowing him to land his feet perfectly onto its edge as he obtained an extremely high amount of speed, running along its rapidly extending edge as it destroyed a part of his great tower; but that was no concern to the male that was rapidly approaching the Doctor. The Sir then began to rapidly move his own blade, blade-strokes of pure wind leading before his body as they followed the curvature of the blade, his elegant shoes just barely failing to touch onto its surface from the very fragile manipulation of air around his feet. Finally, he reached the Doctor's body as eight different slashes poured straight into the owner of the blade, creating a star-shaped pattern of carved stone in the distance where it smashed into the desert sands. However, the Doctor was not hit by this movement, his body having split in half as he allowed Sunēkusunappu to remain hanging in the air, his body bisecting itself as he rapidly shot around the attack, two of the Doctor's emerging from this action as his focus went completely into his hands, purple energy swirling around them as he leaned forwards to continue his assault, his hands moving quickly as he attempted to neutralize the Sir's body from both sides… Sir Akat saw the emerging attack even as his own hands became a shining white, his eyes narrowing as he observed the purple energy of the two men that were assaulting him. Without pause, he smashed into their wrists, elbows, shoulders, using his hands and feet as his stance lowered to better handle fighting two different enemies, before finally thrusting both hands upwards and smashing them both in the chin. However, his leg suddenly weakened as he looked down, his eyes widening in shock as he realized that they had managed to touch his lower ribs, causing him to shudder as the muscles were ripped and torn, the ligaments severed and the connection with his energy distorted. The two Doctors faced their adversary within the gigantic spiraling blade, before looking at one another, their bodies suddenly turning into pure energy as they recombined, displaying the Doctor once more in his full glory, his cloak being brandished in one hand as he threw it off to the side, allowing the full powers of the Rinnegan to come forth as the mark for 'One' appeared in his left eye, followed by the character for 'Four' appearing in the other, a blazing purple emerging in his right eye as he stood there, staring right at the Sir Akat. Sir Akat looked back, and even as he did so his eyes widened. Surrounding his body on every side were great tentacles emerging from the ground, a terrific pillar of muck. He looked up to the sky to escape, but saw that he was encased within an earthen structure with a very, very low ceiling. His blade rapidly slashed at it, before witnessing with shock that the ceiling merely reformed immediately, and then one of the tentacles began wrapping around his leg… and instantly, his eyes flashed open, regaining awareness as he saw the Doctor in front of his body, the sword held in his hand once more as his center of gravity shot extremely low. The Doctor had performed his Illusionary Art on his opponent, rendering him immobile and unthinking for a few moments, allowing the Doctor to enter within his guard as he removed the ability for his opponent to mentally escape this attack by jumping into the sky. In the last moment before his strike, he could see the Sir's awareness return, but knew that he had already entered into his momentum, causing for the Doctor to slide directly within the man's guard… So Akat had stood there, unblinking, unmoving while the Doctor raced to him. The Doctor got inside of his range, and moved his blade quickly. Akat's eyes became aware in that moment, and attempted to throw himself bodily away. A spray of blood shot out along the ground as the Doctor's blade managed to slide all the way through his opponent's breastplate, causing a spray of blood to emerge. The Sir slid back, his hand clutching at his chest as he let out a strong breath, his teeth biting hard into one another as he raised his head straight upwards, looking directly at his opponent with pure rage, meeting the cold, calculating gaze of the Doctor, whose blade took a defensive stance before him. [Chapter 2: Of Heights and Sights]
"What do you think you are, anyway?!" The Sir demanded, his right hand throwing down his longsword with pure rage as his left hand became consumed with a shining gold, producing another long sword made out of pure energy.
"I think, therefore I am. Unlike you, you mindless barbarian." The Doctor stated in cold reply, his two mismatched eyes staring at Akat as he projected images of ice cream, his family, the weapons he had observed through the years, and even the battle in which he had killed Nagato.
"BULLSHIT!" The Sir exclaimed, roared really, his gaze becoming pure venom as he leered at his enemy. "Those are all lies! You can't trust anything! You're a worthless piece of garbage! AND YOU CUT ME, YOU CHEATING BASTARD!" He yelled out, pushing air through his lungs to get out all of his complaints.
"Oh, you never imagined that, did you? In fact, you can't imagine anything, can you? You uncreative bastard." The Doctor told him in response as all the visions suddenly ceased, his left eye returning to normal as his right remained alight with that bright purple fire, his blade dropping to his side as he slowly walked forwards.
"You can't kill me! You shouldn't even be able to hurt me! You must have cheated… I know, that attack on my ribs! That must be why!" He exclaimed suddenly, causing the Doctor before him to pause his movement.
"...Yes. It's called strategy. But you are incapable of learning as well, aren't you?" The Doctor demanded to know as he suddenly lifted his blade, before pointing it at the grandiose tower, a great ball of Dust Element appearing at the tip of his sword.
"No… you wouldn't… YOU WOULDN'T DARE! STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!" The Sir suddenly screamed out as his body suddenly seemed to warp, his hands gripping the side of his head as a strange white pulsating light emerged around him. Suddenly, a terrific screw appeared in the top of his head, a sight that caused the Doctor to lower his blade, before suddenly his mind returned the result: this was about to become very bad.
And just like that, the Doctor placed his hands around Hebi, a white light encompassing him as his body became adorned with a black undershirt, the cloak at his back becoming white as stitches ran through it. The scales all over his body became aligned with stitches as well, covering over his entire body as a matching screw appeared in his own skull, the pulsations of power that the two were generating able to be felt throughout all of the Inverted Realm of Earth.
"...Suzu…" The word left his mouth as he reflected on the image of his wife, his hand gripping tighter around the scythe that was held in his left hand as he grit his teeth, staring into the emerging well of power…

[Chapter Three: Escalation] The battlefield was filled with slashes, scars, holes. The Great Tower that rose from the ground was filled with gashes, and the sound of moving air and clashes of extreme force were echoing across the now barren plains. Great tears of earth littered around the area, and in the far distance a mountain had lost half of its peak. Within the stewing mess of pure energy, two figures could be seen. Well, not seen. More like felt. One of them was no longer using his eyes to follow his opponent, depending on his combat experience and sensing of reiatsu. The other was using his eyes, and was keeping up largely because of them, using them to ensure that he was not overwhelmed as this stupendous combat continued. There was one large difference between the two men with screws in their heads: one was bleeding more. Minute scratches covered the Doctor's body from his head to his feet, causing quite a volume of blood to drip from every part of the front of his body. His opponent was a bit worse for wear: great slashes had joined the initial one across his chest, and with the addition of each his rage had only grown. As this rage had grown, so had his reliance on his instinct, and thus the marks had began to appear along the Doctor's form. "Damn… it…" The Doctor's panting voice let out between strikes, another two hundred of them passing between the two men in only a series of seconds. The Doctor was well aware how long of a haul that the two were in for. This eternal combat which they had entered into was a dance of who would give out first; who had the stronger endurance. The problem was that as far as the Doctor could tell, they were evenly matched. "JUST… DIE!!!" The choked voice of his opponent called. His voice had gone out hours before, after nearly a day of this intense back and forth combat between the two of them. Several of times he had wished that the man he was fighting would simply run out of energy, quit, and die. He even knew how he would kill him; the gold that was encompassing his body would totally and utterly eradicate his opponent's mind, body, and soul… if only he could kill him! "I… REFUSE!" The Doctor told his opponent, before at last the moment came. The moment which he had been waiting nearly a day for. Akat's mouth began to open, and in that single moment his hand was not moving at its normal speed due to the mental facilities required to both speak and attack. In that moment, the Doctor's left hand suddenly shot out, as he allowed for his striking hand that had not once been used to come forwards. Up until this point, the Doctor had been taking his opponent's ruthless two handed attacks directly by deflecting them with his scythe, thus causing his body to become filled with small scratches as his opponent's intensity of attacking increased. At last, his moment had come to use his other arm, which was still at its prime. As it shot out, the Doctor met the eyes of Akat for an instant, and in that instant a kind of mental grapple occurred, as the Doctor's eyes fired a hypnotic blast. Akat's mind was both entirely engaged in their conflict as well as prepared for any sudden attacks by his opponent; it was why he had been keeping constant awareness of his own body. Especially after all the hits he took; but he did not learn from those attacks. At last, this moment had come, where Akat had planned to take his opponent's feint and use it to cut his head off. However, there was a problem; that blast crippled his mind for a moment, causing all faculties to shut down as his physical mind attempted to process the data it was being sent. It was like a computer which had too many processes running; for an instant, he paused. Inside of that pause, the Doctor's left hand struck. His entire left side of his body went into the attack as speeds that would allow for a space shuttle to leave orbit entered into his left arm, smashing his attack directly into Akat's right side. In that moment, the Doctor launched himself backwards with the returning force, using it to his advantage as he gained distance from his opponent. At last, he took an intensely deep breath. His modified body began reacting as his cells automatically began to replenish the energy that they had been conserving and desperately saving. The Doctor was anticipating victory, having prepared for it meticulously for this point… A splatter of blood appeared in front of his body then, surprising him. ...What…? His strained mental faculties wondered as he looked behind his body, seeing Sir Akat… without a screw in his head… standing behind him. Instantly, the Doctor's left hand came down, faster than the Selve could even see, but the damage was done. His opponent's clone was rapidly dispatched, being rendered into nothing by the blast of pure Dust Element, leaving nothing where once had been an artificial man. "...Damn… you…" The Doctor breathed as he grabbed the back of the weapon, smoke appearing from his hand as he screamed in pure pain, removing it from his body and throwing it to the side, his body falling to its knees as he looked up at the approaching Akat. Akat, for his part, had been horrifically damaged as well. The entire right side of his body had been badly damaged, terrific scarring from the sheer outpouring of force and Dust Element rending it into a horrific appearance, much worse than it had been before. And it hurt. It hurt so incredibly, incredibly badly; Akat had honestly thought that he might have been killed by that attack. But it was not to be. "...Haha… you fool… die there, staring at the ground…" He said, his left foot raising into the air as the Doctor's Stein State began to disperse from his body. ...This… is bad…! The Doctor thought, as in that moment time seemed to stop. The Doctor's body could not move, but in this instant he ramped the mental faculties mind to a near infinite amount, causing a huge expulsion of smoke the next moment from his mind after the burned calories escaped his body in the form of heat. Akat's foot was met by a long tongue, which grabbed him and threw him, hard. His body went flying into the side of a crevice created through the clashing of scythes, his mouth opening wide as his wounded body was furthered damaged. A solemn voice declared, as around the Doctor's body, the four pieces of his 'inheritance' formed a contingent, protecting their master from his assailant. The Animal Path lowered her hands to the ground as a sprawling series of Japanese text swirled around her body, before a colossal beast like a dog with terrific black rods sticking through its body and the white-ringed eyes of the Rinnegan emerged after Akat, smashing into his body as it attempted to bite down hard onto his head…. And in that moment, Akat's blade emerged before his body, the Dog approaching him as he wrote 'characters' in the air. As he finished, a series of earth cracked out of the sky before his writings as a terrific bird, far larger than the tower that was barely standing, emerged from his writings, smashing into the great dog with a terrific cry, grabbing onto its body with its talons, several times greater in size than the prey which it had just secured. As the Doctor witnessed this, his eyes closed, his right hand reaching over the hole in his body as the screw completely left from his skull, allowing him to access his other abilities as he healed the hole in his body, though he could still feel the wound inflicted by that 'purified' attack. Lowering himself onto his knees, more characters like that generated by the Animal Path rapidly appeared, though this one was much larger. Extending several meters around the Doctor's body, a ring the size of a football field emerged, the edges of which touched against the once magnificent tower in the distance. Out of this ring a terrific cloud of smoke emerged, and out of this summoning circle a positively gigantic serpent emerged. Reaching its head out, Victor II shot its head forwards, the Doctor sitting and the Paths standing along its back as it raced towards their opponent, clashing with a tremendous noise, creating so much force from the collision that the Doctor had to be held down by the Hungry Ghost path to prevent from flying away, and Akat's body was thrust several meters farther into the earth. At last, the great snake began to coil its gigantic body around its target, beginning to squeeze the life out of the bird as its head then began to go downwards, wrapping its jaws around its dinner before biting down hard, creating as much force as their initial clash had. The bird flailed against its opponent, causing terrific gashes through its body which spawned fountains of blood, staining the ground all around the battlefield entirely red. "...VICTOR!!" The Doctor suddenly cried out as he felt the sudden sensation of pain in his neck. Pushing his hand, [i]hard[/í], against the body of his beloved pet, it vanished in another terrific expanse of smoke, the blood which had been rapidly and terrifically exploding out from its neck that had been ripped and gashed through like a tunnel splattering over the Doctor's body as he was knocked a bit back, his hands being thrown up in front of his body. However, the Path's couldn't move fast enough to stop it. The Doctor's eyes, the Path's eyes, all of them could see it. They could witness the male that was slamming into the Doctor's body, his hand wrapping around his throat. The Deveta Path threw its right hand out, and that was the only action that they could collectively make as it gripped Akat's right wrist, preventing it from moving forwards as the gravity all around Deveta Path's body thrust away from where the two were flying. The Doctor was being choked by his opponent, feeling his windpipe being objectively crushed as he struggled against the bindings from his opponent, his mind beginning to go white… [End of Chapter 3] |

✧I AM NOW LOCKING THIS THREAD✦
Well, since it seems that Dr.Hebi more or less finished the thread, I'm going to put the final seal in it and lock it out. This is done in an effort to otherwise speed things up in the event and conclude it.
