Pale Parley [Nozomi, Shadin, Private] Empty Pale Parley [Nozomi, Shadin, Private]

Artist: Accel World - Song: Children's Domain

While breaking and entering was against the law and punishable through a jail sentence of up to a year's worth of time on top of a hefty fine, there were those who enjoyed to find loopholes in these crimes, and test them. There were some—such as Nozomi Sumashuu—who could twist definitions to her advantage so that she came up on top in the end. Was it truly breaking and entering if you never broke a single object, and managed to find your way into the house without technically entering it? For someone who distorted reality, it was no issue to place herself inside of the estate as if she'd always been there. It was a nice place Shadin had, though humbling for someone of his stature. After a cursory survey, Nozomi could tell that the place had a history with the Beast, and yet was not often utilized. Shadin traveled often, going from place and place and never sticking in one for too long. Hah... how adorable it was to seem him so comfy on the sofa like this. If she had to guess, it was to get away from all the noise that the world provided especially for someone on the forefront of it all. Leading was no easy task, and Nozomi knew that when she herself had taken up the mantle. But then again... immortals didn't really need a break.

Dispensing of her own qualms, she strode into the living room where the snowy-haired male lied, dressed in her usual attire of black and white. Her hair was an unusual dark blue, voluminous as it flowed like a water fall down past her backside. Crimson eyes greatly contrasted that; vibrant; beyond energetic. Then the last defining feature of the woman was the incredibly pale skin, like flawless marble. She had the clear traits of someone beyond human even though she assumed the form. Hopefully it would not be too terrifying for Shadin to wake up to, for Nozomi had finished waltzing around his place. It was now that she unveiled her spiritual presence, which even amongst other people of her caliber was rather daunting. Even should that not be enough, the woman would slam a ceramic plate on the table next to the couch, the loud noise hopefully waking him. Upon the plate were two layers of luxuriously fluffy pancakes, drenched in maple syrup and steaming with the delightful scent of breakfast. Beside that, a glass a milk cold and refreshing enough to counter the copious meal. ''Hey sleepy head, let's not sleep in. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaake uuuuuuuuuuup.''

Nozomi planted her self on the cushion of the adjacent chair, placing her elbows on her legs and leaning on them. She folded her hands together and relaxed her chin on top of it to watch, the arduous process of waking up. She was unarmed and meant no hostility to him, and tried to manipulate her aura to give off a soothing effect. She'd be patient with the man, mindful of the trials he's had to endure up until now, and the fact that he was capable of weariness. By no means was she here today to rob a day off from him, but a gentle discussion couldn't hurt. It would not take long. Hopefully the pancakes would please him. She didn't know, for perhaps he was allergic to one of the ingredients. She spoke softly, like an adult to a child; and she spoke cautiously, as if unsure of his reaction. One thing, that Nozomi hoped she could resolve with this meeting, is just how little these two knew each other despite being such significant individuals. ''Hopefully this isn't a bad time, Shadin... I made breakfast?''

Pale Parley [Nozomi, Shadin, Private] Empty Re: Pale Parley [Nozomi, Shadin, Private]

Artist: Shiro Sagisu - Song: Quelconque 56 avec A4 - Word Count: 1705

Everything was dark and there was not a single soul to be found. Shadows drowned the heavens and the earth below until nothing but an abyss was left. And in this void of life? The Beast of Karakura's figure stood alone in the vast nothingness of the universes end. Motionless and frozen, he was helpless and unable to do anything with the events that occurred. In this place of slumber and dream, the visions of his beloved wife, Midori Sugiura, being slain had played. In a lake of blackened blood, the figure of a red haired woman began to sake as she cried out for Shadin. Despite having all the power in the world, yet again he was unable to do a thing as his beloved signify other had descended into the cold depths of oblivion; never again to see the light of day or feel the warmth of her love.

SCREAM.

That was the first pain in this maddening world.

What came next was the systematic destruction of all his family, friends and the civilians whom called this planet home. Lifeless bodies fell from the sky and this pool became thicker, deeper and heavier. And once again? He was unable to do anything. Even with all his strength, he could do nothing with it and could change nothing.

SCREAM.

More pain.

Try as he might, the activation of his powers simply would not come as the world he cherished decayed and rotted out. Yet, what was more terrifying was what the male saw in the sky that was now alit with a slade and crimson blaze. Deep within the atmosphere is where a contorted version of The Beast of Karakura lay. Skin was white as marble, eyes as black as dark and power as mighty as the gods; this cloaked figure of Shadin was the self-reflected image of his days as The Beast.

Indeed, this entity was the sum-total of his failures and blood-soaked hands. The stains of numerous souls tainted his hands, infected the world with death and rotted out everything until not a single damn thing was left. This was, for all intents and purposes, his hell. A hell paved by his own hands and devised by his mind to punish him for the sins he had indeed committed; no matter how much he yearned for them to flourish his most honest and pure of intentions. Intentions that wanted to take the love his wife once had and morph back the planet to the world they shared, the life they lived and revert this ugly hell the Earth has endured for so long following the nightmare of World War Three.

Thus, this lonely prison is where the tomb of The Beast would lay, fill and devour The Yuudeshi until he was killed by his own mistakes, lack of power and outright isolation.

SCREAM -- and wake up.

[CHANGE THE TRACK HERE]

The body of The Yuudeshi, moments prior to Nozomi arriving, appeared to have gone into a cold sweat. Turned inwards towards the wall of the sofa so that The Quincy did not perceive the pained expression the male was under, The Beast of Karakura let out hushed cries and whimpers as these nightmares plagued his mind. And from this terror, the horrors of Shadin's mind may have become an actualized reality -- if it weren't for the safety mechanisms put in place by his body to prevent nocturnal outburst. For this entire city would have indeed suffered the effects of eradication being brought to life by Imaginary Computation under Shadin's subconscious mind. But, instead, the restraints he put on himself by the modifications done in his body suppressed and held them back until Shadin's mind was ready to tame them.

Hence, it is the reason why Nozomi herself did not come under gunfire; despite the natural reaction within The Beast's body being so close to pulling the trigger. Furthermore, the second she materialized into the city, The Yuudeshi Network already understood who this woman was. Gathering samples of her energys frequency from her battle in the depths of the Australian Conflict, the intricate system ran through a sample list of patterns until the detection of Nozomi Sumashu came up to the screen.

Registering her as a neutral party due to her status in the world as a diplomatic, The Will of The Yuudeshi Network did not seek to reject her yet. Instead, it was rather curious to see why a person such as herself would be allured and pulled towards The Yuudeshi. After all, The Network deduced that it would not be in her interest to start a battle or war here; not when there was so much to lose from her image. Thus, it granted her clearance and did not interfere with her entrance into the male's humble abode.

So, as the light of Nozomi's glared down on the room, the attire of the male became clear. With his modernized cane, Heaven's Walker, by the right wayside of the couch, it would prove to be a surreal sight to see the infamous figure without his signature cane by his arm. Although, this was the first of many relaxed mannerisms that are not often seen by the public of their leader.

Long, unkempt and almost dirtied; the silver hair of the albino male shielded the view of a black collar dubbed "Project Accelerator" across his neck. Under intense stress, the male seemed to have foregone the desire to clean himself much or tend to his bodies needs. Thus, the sight of bags under his eyes would be noted by the time he did turn around to face Nozomi upon his awakening.

And it was the reason why his clothing seemed so simplistic and minimalist in nature as well. Wearing nothing more than a pair of ash shaded jeans and a white shirt with vertical stripes in a gray hue; the man was clearly dressed for the casual, as he had every right to be within the confines of the house he and his wife built so long ago.

But alas, the time for all of this reflection had been long past due. The slamming of the ceramic plate on the table next to the couch was what jolted his senses awake. The aura that Nozomi produced was indeed a formidable one, but even in his stupor, The Beast's body was not disturbed much by it. The man had been hunted by countless scientist, made endless enemies and had been hunted down his entire life; so he learned to leave the reflective abilities of Imaginary Computation activated in an idle state while he rested. Thus, the sound of a low hum around the males body could be heard -- before a "SCREECHING" sound signifying this invisible fields dispersion echoed throughout the room.

For when this shrieking sound came to a close, the eyes of Shadin Yuudeshi came to life and his crimson orbs analyzed the situation. At first, he woke up with a terrified gasp of air, but the mechanisms in his body calmed him down before he could react much to it. It is then, within nanoseconds, that The Yuudeshi had injected knowledge within The Beast's Cybernetic mind of the current circumstance he was now in with The First Quincy. So, he'd relax, ease and let out a hardened and gruff sigh as he pulled himself to his feet and phased back into real-time.

The smell of pancakes was the first thing he noted as unusual. It had been decades, if not centuries, since he had arisen to the aroma of freshly made pancakes at his bedside. It brought forth a somewhat agitated, but perplexed expression to the males face. It reminded him of the bitter-taste of Midori's love and he wasn't too keen on focusing on that right now. Not after those nightmares.

So, he'd wipe the sweat from his hand and drag his body to face Nozomi with a deadened stare. Mixed with tiredness, irritability, stress and hints of sorrow intermixed with anguish; the look he gave off could give the impression of many things, but words nor physical body language could do the man justice to convey what he felt in his mind and heart.

Thus, a sigh would escape his lips and the facial expression would ease before he decided to engage in conversation with the woman.

"I've all the time I need with the perception of my mind; so now is as good as any other second in time." Voice dour and deepened, it seemed that, at least for the moment, the male was rather indifferent and neutral towards the woman. There was no point in flying off the handle if she hadn't made a mess of the place; which was more than he could say when compared vandals who had attempted to deface this sacred place before he cleaned up this area in Karakura Central.

That, and sensing the aura of her energy, the soothing effect it gave off did appear to at least calm The Beast for the time being. It felt uncomfortable to accept, but he'd allow it. Although, he was still confounded on one thing...

"So tell me: why are you here?"

Question simple and to the point, Shadin watched Nozomi carefully and awaited to see what would come of this meeting. Although, despite how urgent this gathering could potentially be, the man still found his mind wandering somewhat. Wandering back -- to those pancakes. Those had to have been made by her power; as a quick turn of the head to the kitchen would unveil nothing but endless cans of coffee filling up the cabinets of Shadin's living space, while fruit juices and vegetables took up the rest of the space intermixed with jars of white pills.

So, his mind was rather cautious of taking a bite from them to say the least. As, in his point of mind, it was somewhat bizarre to take the food that was generated from the soul of another. For, he pictured it as consuming apart of The Quincy herself and that -- unnerved him. Thus, he'd follow up with another question with a somewhat uneased, but almost comical tone.

"And...why on earth did you make those pancakes?"

Artist: Accel World - Song: Children's Domain

The clattering of the plate was all the noise that was needed, and as soon as it resounded, she would watch as the male's automated defenses sparked up to defend him from any sudden attacks, of which there were none to see. He was wide awake in a hot minute, clearly surprised, though not groundlessly considering the circumstances. Still, with such a knee-jerk reaction to the sound, Nozomi could only snicker under her breathe, before letting out a fit of giggles. It was like having pulled a prank on the young man without having even intended to do so, and she couldn't help but laugh a little at the result. Here the ruler of the new Eldrazi regime was, like a silly little girl poking fun at the leader of Karakura; it was out of the ordinary for sure. The explanation for this would be that the blue-haired Quincy was planted firmly in her Ernst frame of mind, the less mature of her two split personalities. Not that he'd know, of course, but it was one of her quirks. She wasn't serious-face all the time—she had a fun side to her too.

She plopped down onto the chair as intended, but more relaxed into the back of it. There wasn't much to watch, as he adjusted to full awareness slightly faster than she'd expected. The cybernetic enhancements he possessed seemed to be doing a lot of that work, as opposed to Nozomi's more natural capacity. Still, whatever parts machine he was made out of, his humanity vastly eclipsed that. Seeing the wear in his expression added ten years onto his appearance, while the fresh sweat that clung to his uncovered skin spoke volumes of his state of mind. Compared to Nozomi's rather statuesque appearance, free of a single mar, he was an absolute wreck. Any worse and she'd feel guilty about laughing at him. As it was, the poor state bothered her, having only recently come from a land where everything was happy and perfect; utopia. From that disturbance arose a desire to help, given that she was also in a pleasant mood. The spiritual pressure that soothed him now, was also a great many other things at Nozomi's command.

Her Esper was given a single mental word by the First Quincy to improve the young man's state, and it was to work. Within a split second, the sweat had evaporated away and had its foul smell obliterated to be replaced with a nice strawberry one instead. Not only that but the various vestiges of dirt and grime on his body would have been erased as though he'd just recently came out of a shower and dried off; this did not exclude his hair, which was mystically treated to simulate shampoo, conditioner, and a bit of brushing to fix it right up. To round it all up, her energies would deliver onto him an ease of the tensions in his muscles and bones, like giving him a full body massage. All of this, within the time one could blink—the effects were immediate. Nozomi knew what she did, but she'd make no comment on it after it was done, wondering just how he'd react to it. She'd be fine with the thankless task, but just as pleased with another reaction of surprise. Perhaps the fact that she didn't ask permission would disturb him.

It was clear even more than before now that he was awake, that Shadin was going through a rough time. Something was eating away at him, but the aloofness she felt suggested that that issue was far and away from anything having to do with her presence. Compared to whatever was bothering him, her 'break-in' was just another walk in the park. Then there was Nozomi, who understood that a man could deal with the weight of the world on his shoulders, but would not be put down herself. She was clearly happy with her current state of affairs; how Eldrazi had turned out to be in its infancy. Already the foundation was laid for a strong dominion for years to come, especially with her at the head. Crime rates plummeted, standards of living surged, and her dreams became realized. These two were like the opposite sides of a coin, with one of them having been face down in the mud for a long long while. She could only hope he somehow was able to scavenge off of her aura of pleasantry.

''Everybody loves pancakes,'' she responded simply, as if the question he asked was utterly preposterous. ''I'm in a good mood, felt like breaking the tension, and decided to do it by making you pancakes. Don't ruin this for me. Eat, I insist. You may even scan it for impurities if you must.'' Despite her forwardness, she spoke softly. With her soothing musical voice, again, he'd be reminded of her otherworldliness. She would give him a moment to get comfortable, maybe take a bite or two out of his meal, before commencing with the business side of this meeting. Believe it or not, Nozomi was not here to just pamper him, she had a goal in mind. Not too long ago an assault had been made on the organization known as Monsuta, deep within the heart of their dealings in Australia. It had been a crushing victory as parties of all different kinds joined the fight against them, wiping out the majority of their influence and leaving only scattered remains. Therein lied the problem, in that there was a remainder at all. They still had a leader after all was said and done, and they represented something the Quincy did not want to see. She wanted to finish the job.

''Well, to business, anyhow, I'll try to make this relatively simple since there's really no need to spruce it up. I am going to lead a team to eliminate what is left of the Monsuta, and I'm extending an offer to you to come join me on this little escapade. Since you were the one who originally began it all... I figured you might just have a little fun with it.'' With that out, she kicked back, putting her feet on the table before her, crossing her legs and all. She smiled warmly at him, looking as relaxed as could be. She was an odd one all right, but weren't we all now?

Pale Parley [Nozomi, Shadin, Private] Empty Re: Pale Parley [Nozomi, Shadin, Private]

Artist: Chill Carrier - Song: Raster - Word Count: 1192

The sensory skills of The Yuudeshi became alit with activity as it noticed a value shift in the aura of The First Quincy. Focusing his sight and metaphysical eye to the world around him, the constructs of what the women's energy made became apparent to The Beast soon enough. Within a timespan that passed less than a blink of the eye; the male deduced the general makeup of energy particles beginning to contort towards his body were that of a cleansing aura. This is because the molecules in the air where Nozomi's influence did spread seemed to be -- fresh. Yes. Fresh smelling and eradicated of grime, odor and filth.

So due to the fact the observations of the woman's ambience appeared to have lacked hostility, nor any sign of tampering priorities, he'd not activate his first-line of defenses and reflect the essence of the power away from him. Thus, he'd feel the sensation of more or less being put through a showering process. The damp terrors of the nights eve were washed away from him; being replaced with a strawberry scent instead. In this act, The Beast rose a questionable eyebrow as to what she was doing. For, what followed after that, had been the eradication of dirt from his body and hair brought back to the peakest of clean states.

All of this being topped off with the sense of a full body massage led The Yuudeshi to wonder just this woman was up to. The spirit he bathed in was indeed one of good nature; The Beast could literally feel it in his bones in this case. However, there was something unnerving behind it as well. It had little to do with her power and more to do with the pulsation of her spirit. As, for one reason or another, the male could not comprehend why the female would subject herself through this if this wasn't some form of ulterior motive. The act, the mannerisms; it appeared almost too naive, too carefree and too jovial to be her true face.

But, there wasn't a pressure to dig deeper than what needed to be. After all, what difference did it make to him? The Quincy may of had her reasons for putting forth such a facade; or maybe his broad mind had been over analyzing the circumstances, but it wasn't necessarily his problem -- just yet, anyway. So The Yuudeshi let out a gruff sigh and nodded his head to acknowledge that he was aware of the act the female had committed; but wasn't too pressed to do anything about it as it soothed and loosed his own spirit up.

"First you break into my house, then you serve me pancakes and now you are bathing me?"

The tone in Shadin's voice had been a mixture between sarcasm, gruffness and baffled nature. There wasn't any sign of real irritation, hate or anything that would otherwise set The Beast off his chain. As this was all much better than waking up to the sounds of a bullet hitting I.E. Field or an explosion attempting to claim his life. But still -- it was quite bizarre.

"Just what is your deal anyway? Are you trying to drown me in goodwill or something, woman?" This question seemed more sincere, as his suspicions urged him to make that inquiry. Yet, for now, he'd play along as there was nothing that really bothered him.

"..."

There was silence for a few moments as he sat in the couch and gazed absent-mindedly at what the female uttered out. Everybody loved pancakes? How absurd. What about those who had no sweet-tooth? He'd shake his head and reply to that lunacy: "Everyone loves pancakes...except for those who lack the taste for it." Raising one finger in the air, this would come off as his first point as he closed his eyes and exhaled another sigh. "And wouldn't you know it, I happen to fall under that latter category." Then he'd raise his middle finger as his second point was declared to the audience of Nozomi. "So if you want me to eat such a thing, modify the values of it to taste like spinach." Ring finger now in the air, the exchange of crimson stares would commence as the scarlet eyes of The Yuudeshi and The First Quincy now met.

"Otherwise, you can trash it, woman."

Now making his final point, Shadin lowered his fingers and observed if there would be a change in the make-up of the pancakes before him. In this pausing of his own words, he'd allow for her to begin speaking of her true intent -- and a slight glare eased itself over his face following it. It brought back memories of the conflict for Australia and made him unnerved. That battlefield, that war, is where his entire prospective had morphed, altered and ascended into something else at the cost of thrusting the planet into the hells of combat once more.

Despite some time having passed, that war was still as fresh in his mind as ever. From the blood of his comrades being spilled, to the sights of his descendants crying before his feet seeking guidance and the earnest battle between him and his brother hollowfied form brought about by The Yuudeshi's actions. Yeah, there were so many more livid memories from that day that he had to block out his recollections, numb his mind and exhale another deep breathe of air to cleanse himself of those tensions.

"Now I get what this is about..." Closing his eyes and curling his face into a further frown, the voice of The Beast became crabbed and sucked his teeth out of distaste for the situation they were in now. As, after all, sooner or later he'd have to clean up the the garbage that was lingering from that distasteful organization whom were marked as his foe. "...you want to pave the streets with blood and ignite the second half of the Australian War with me at your side, eh?" In that moment, something seemed to ignite within him and the understanding that he'd need to fight once more had came to the surface. So, there was a confliction between his desires of non-conflict, and the natural persona of The Beast to want to raise hell.

Thus -- a grimace -- and then grin came to view across the male's face; hair hanging low over his head as to produce a shadow over the man's eyes.

"As much as I loathe those bastards, I figure it is time I clean the last of my mess up. So tell me, woman, what are your intentions and motives? Lend me that and I, The Beast of Karakura, will assist in this tango with death once more."

With that uttered out, he'd observe her. But not before one more snip of the tongue:

"And don't kid yourself, woman. There isn't time for fun or pleasure in this life of mine, heh. I've incurred too much debt to warrant such goodwill."

Cracking a slight smirk, the male would then raise his head to meet hers once more and stare.

Artist: Accel World - Song: Children's Domain

Nozomi's already amiable expression seemed to brighten just one smidgen more, glad to see that her presence was not all too disagreeable. She knew very well that others would see her action as unorthodox and perhaps a little bit hostile, but she applauded the Yuudeshi's composure regarding the matter even despite his aversions. After all, she showed utter disrespect for the man's privacy and personal space; not so much as a pat on the back. One could say that his reaction was just as odd as Nozomi's behavior, simply because he was accepting it. And you know? She could get along with that. This translated through the ever-present aura she exuded—her laxness and her approval could be... sensed. To Shadin, it would be something like a new language he was hearing for the first time, and yet it was simple and intuitive. Not a word was spoken but feelings and thoughts were being communicated to him at a very base level. It was very comparable to reading the emotions on a face, even, but on a much more comprehensible level. Nozomi's spiritual presence was a dimension beyond the mere scale of power. It spoke to those around her.

It made her special. This was one of her ways in standing out from the rest. Most people possessed something like that, and Shadin was no exception. He rang familiarly of a machine or computer, even though the majority of his make-up was organic. Yet, the surges of electricity going through his body, and the machines that were integrated into his person, and even the manner with which thoughts moved throughout his mind resembled those of a synthetic, albeit a highly advanced one. He didn't function like a living being really should have, though it could be said to be approximate. Perhaps it explained his distaste for pancakes; it was an inhuman preference as far as the girl was concerned, turning down such a delicacy in turn for spinach. What's worse is that it had to be because of taste, because humanity had long ago evolved beyond the realm of health issues due to choice of food. The previous goal of living to a hundred was easily achievable in this day and age, the new one set above two hundred. The fact that he wanted her to make the pancakes taste like a plant... gross and abhorrent.

It was only through an overwhelming generosity that she delivered his request, altering the basest properties of the pancakes to defy the restraints of science and simply taste like spinach. She didn't even wave her hand for that one, but he would be able to determine what had happened all the same. As she performed the cuisine surgery, there would be a concrete shift in her aura originating from the pancakes. Despite retaining their shape and substance, the alterations had taken place to taste just as he'd like it. The process was difficult to understand, seeming impossible, and yet it was done without the slightest hassle. She merely had to think something for it to take place, and her ample energies were more than enough to carry it out. It was the primary reason she bequeathed upon him these acts of charity, for they were as effortless as breathing to her.

''It must be hard to understand at first,'' she replied to his incredulousness, the ebb and flow of her aura in a calm state, coloring her words in a way that no facial expression could imitate. ''You probably think it's all to butter you up? I would be lying if that wasn't part of it, but I would also be lying if I said it was more than only a small part. Primarily, it's just an act of good will. You may not see it, but I can tell that you are under a terrifying amount of stress; in agony. Who would I be if I were to turn a blind eye to that when I could help in these little ways. And trust me, they're no trouble at all.'' A narcissistic, heartless creature too far estranged from empathy; that's who. For as far as Nozomi reached for the heavens, a part of her was fighting to stay down to Earth just as well. Humanity was an aspect of herself that she wanted to keep. She would not have the dignity to claim that heritage if she did not help people when it was so elementary. ''If it makes you uncomfortable then just tell me to stop, adn I will. You'll find me very cooperative in that regard.''

For as much fun as they could have just fooling around, eventually they would have to get down to business and address the reason Nozomi was here today. In a pursuit both business and personal, the Quincy was going to hunt down the rest of Monsuta and terminate them once and for all. As explained, they were already on the top of her shit list and she was on the road to slaughter; for she had no desire to refer to this hunt as a war. However, knowing of Shadin's own stance on the organization and relationship with its leader, she thought it would be insulting not to invite the Beast of Karakura along for the ride. Nozomi didn't want this operation to stretch out, preferring the use of overwhelming force to eliminate her enemy as fast as possible. And Shadin wanted to finish the job he'd started, clearing at least one more thing off of his conscious. It was a win-win situation from the top-down—so she thought—and an easy decision. She just had to strike the deal.

Her lips evened out, losing the smile for a more serious line. It brought her no positive feelings to think of the things Monsuta has done.''My reasons? Goodwill. Goodwill for the people of the living realm. You're a powerful man aren't you? Do you not have an information network established that would let you know of Monsuta's actions as of recent? Since the departure of Hakai? They are congenial individuals, Shadin. They are trouble-makers and I want them to stop. I may only lord over a small territory of the world, but a home buyer always wants a nice neighborhood to go along with their nice house. Think of it like that.'' Her hands would fold over her lap, fingers intertwining with themselves. It was a very broad comparison to make, but the similarities were present. She looked out not only for her own lands, but for those of others. And sometimes, weeds needed to be pulled out to improve the neighborhood as a whole.

Pale Parley [Nozomi, Shadin, Private] Empty Re: Pale Parley [Nozomi, Shadin, Private]

Artist: Iuchi Maiko - Song: Kogoeta Kokoro - Word Count: 1611

The small things -- those were the most important things that mattered in life. To that sentiment; the likes of The Beast noticed that slight display of happiness lighten up across the pale vixen's face. Thus, to return the favor, a small smile came forth across his own and showed that he indeed did not dislike her presence. Granted, there was still a rigidness in his body, but those were to be expected of a man with such high tensioned worries. But ultimately, In the grand scheme of things, The Beast was not too concerned with her presence here.

Why was this so? Simple: she yearned for a "pure" utopia for those territories in which she controlled. Musing over the various articles and data he had of the woman in the blink of an eye, from what he could discern of her actions, they seemed noble in intent and not too disavory for his own taste. While he was not the type to aim for a total paradise, the goal was admirable and similar enough to his own motive to maintain relative peace in the world.

Henceforth, the potential for conflict among the two of them were absurdly low; unless, if at the switch of a button, the woman pushed for the demand to take control of his home. That would only lead to a fight, nay, a war that could cause great strife among the planet and their homes. And judging from each of their desires for harmony? That was none too beneficial for either party. Yet, it was still a factor he thought of none the less because there was always that chance.

However, while their end-games and methods may be different, that did not mean, in Shadin's eyes, that they could not get along. The world in which he grew up into was a diverse one. One filled with many different ideologies, people, governments and so on. That world, the peaceful world, was what he strived to attain once again. And that is why he found himself opening his heart and mind to those not only among his inner circle, but to those he led, those whom he were allied with and even to those he loathed. For the male found enough insight beyond himself to even allot for Demon's and Arrancar's to once again enter these streets, so long as they sign their citizenship within their databanks and pledge to not cause trouble.

Thus, as they both stood now, the ball of flowery puff that was Nozomi -- seemed tolerable to him. And he'd presume his presence was equally tolerable to her. This had been concluded by the fact her unearthly aura communicated with his own otherworldly force, poked at it and conveyed similar sentiments of acceptance through metaphysical language and emotion. Ergo, from this transcended form of information exchange, all of the feelings that The Beast had experianced in their discourse up until now had been directed back into her aura as well. This intent was so that The First Quincy better understood the position he was coming from, and so that he may further comprehend her own at the same time. If, by some measure, in order to better solidify their acquaintanceship and alliance.

Turning his eyes back to the pancakes at hand, the resection of the pancakes flavor must've been a somewhat baffling and irritating endeavour for the Quincy to undergo. To an extent, from their essence mending into one another, the male believed he perceived something of a confusion on her hand. Indeed, who would like spinach flavored pancakes -- a guy with jacked up tastebuds, thats who. There were many alterations and side effects done to his body throughout the duration of the Yuudeshi Project, but this was not one of them. From his organic nature? The male's tongue just preferred leafy foods over everything else.

Accordingly, as a result of this abnormal occurrence not being known to the Pale Quincy? The male's life force conveyed these thoughts into her own spiritual energy and channeled it into a form of bodiless communication between the minds. In this ascended way of speaking, the overall intention to be expressed was that his preference had nothing to do with her, the gesture, her powers or anything else; but that the man simply loved his greens and vegetables.

Digressing from these notions, however, brought him back to the physical plane once more. The woman began explaining her stance in that tone of voice which was serene and placid in nature. True, such concepts may be hard to understand gauging from pure tangible and natural intelligence. It is for this reason is why The Beast believed the woman ran into many conflicts among Earth's people with her intentions, ideals and ambitions.

Yet, be that as it may, each of their realms of knowledge extended far beyond that from his point of view. Reaching into the depths of the metaphysical, what was impossible for the grounded mind was but a simple concept to grasp for their boundless perception. And from that objective fact, their esoteric lifeblood mended in the air and became an abstract force of nature. In this nonmaterial force, their unrestricted space of feeling and connection, the male could interpret beyond the material, pursue to explore her sacred sensitivity and find, from that lack of withholding -- that The First Quincy was indeed telling the truth. Or, if nothing else, what he perceived to be true from his expansive and informed mind. For her essence was pure to him and there was no reason not to disbelieve for the time being.

Departing from those feelings, the impression that The Yuudeshi was unaware of his burden seemed to almost be a comical one to the male. He knew it, his allies knew it and maybe even his worst foes knew it. So, when Nozomi uttered those true words out to him, the aura of the Beast almost gave off an audible chuckle because it was so valid to him. Certainly, through this jovial force, the male transferred an invisible and abstract push toward her mind. One that would give her the awareness to the matter that -- the male needed no reminding of his predicament, but it was almost charming of her to remind him of such remedial things.

"Oi, oi. You have the calculation ability to speak to me on "that" level. If I had a problem with where we've come at this point...I would have filtered it out by now, right?"

So to that the end, the aura of the male almost became somewhat pacified. Shedding his physical body and language seemed to be a form of relief for him. Not many of this world were perceptive or intelligent enough to transmit their thoughts to him in the intricate and overstepping bounds of communication that both The First Quincy and The Beast of Karakura were speaking to each other on.

And in this world of theirs that their corporeal forms inhabited? Few stood at the pinnacle of awareness that these beings erected themselves at. In consequence to that reason, The Yuudeshi felt relieved to have an entity like this gradually begin to open the gates towards getting to better understand him on a transcendent intellect level of feeling, emotion and concepts. For even in this moment of introspective space, the ethereal particles of Shadin's spiritual embodiment transmitted these deep internal sentiments into the brain of The First Quincy as his unseen sign of openness.

"So do what you want."

Those words were almost filled with laughter, but they were intent and straight to the point. They made his intent clear even in the flesh: Shadin didn't mind their open waves of communication one bit. Therefore, their conversation that delved into the material and immaterial realms eventually oozed into the subject that brought them altogether: The Monsuta.

However, unlike their mystic dialogue beforehand, this one did not require as much intensive thought. Overviewing the data, reviewing the evidence and going forth on their track record; The Monsuta's pace for the year was becoming an intolerable one. Unlike The Kokuryuteshi, this faction did not even appear to have some sort of purpose for their actions. As, if nothing else, that bastard Kin was at least attempting in some form or another to better the planet. Even those demonic beast of the Shadow Fall organization did that in his eyes. But these guys? Nothing of the sort.

So, along those chaotic lines of logic, The Monsuta was an unstable force in the world and perhaps -- one that needed to be eradicated once and for all. Indeed, for the betterment of the planet, maybe the words of The First Quincy were right. Maybe he did need to get off his rear, summon that power within and attempt to make a change in the world again. For, although he was not seeking war, their leader needed to be eradicated as nothing good seemed to be stemming from his command.

Therefore, with that trigger pulled, The Beast made an erratic move towards Nozomi's lap, put his hand on top of hers and gave a wide grin.

"Okay. Where do we begin?"

In those simple words, the agreement was made upon. If she could sense his aura? The battle plans were intended to be conveyed through their wordless speech and he'd accept her alliance. For, if there was no one else on this planet who accepted or understood her, The Beast of Karakura would at least put his diligent head in the ring and open himself to her.

Thus, the ball was now in Nozomi's court.

Artist: Accel World - Song: Children's Domain

It would be the ambient communication through which Nozomi found a connection, colored tones reverberating throughout the space between and around them. His music joined hers in a rather familiar harmony; as if experienced, or perhaps so swiftly adapted. The former would be surprising, for only through her eldership had she developed and refined this method of speech; a complex composition of her spiritual energy into unspoken thoughts and feelings. For him to have shared the capability to write in turn, implied a very intriguing history behind the silver-haired male. On the latter, it displayed an incredible amount of processing and understanding. It was not the same as creating a language from scratch, but it was impressive nonetheless. Either way, Nozomi held the achievement in high regard. It was not every day one discovered another with such natural talent. And it was good news, too, for they'd been able to bypass what might have been a lengthy and superficial verbal exchange. It was easy to lie through one's teeth; everyone knew this, and it made trust hard to come by. Deception through one's spirit--their life's energy--challenging. It would require a herculean effort in order to shroud the truth this way, and even then it would be too easy to detect for individuals of their caliber. What Nozomi spoke was her true intention.

She'd heard what she wanted to hear; Shadin was on board. It had been a probable outcome, honestly, considering he already had a hand in this, but that didn't make it surefire. For someone with his specific mentality, it was easy for viewpoints to change. In this case, Nozomi was glad that this one hadn't. She believed that for all intents and purposes, she was doing the world a favor by putting the Monsuta out of its misery. The organization was unpopular by nearly a unanimous percentage, and they lacked greatly for allies. Besides a few notable individuals, their military strength was pitiful, and not looking to recover. It was all they had; there was no longer a purpose to the group. They existed for the sake of possessing notoriety, solely to oppose people they declare their enemies, and nothing more. There is no goal or doctrine to uphold. They lost every last shred of dignity when Hakai Chikara abandoned them, and their former allies cut ties. Now they were just a nuisance, and one that refused to keep quiet. Had they kept to themselves then perhaps they could have survived on, but to this day they persisted to make trouble for others; a fossil trying to reclaim 'the glory of the old' or some such nonsense.

It seemed Shadin thought alike, so Nozomi appreciated the assistance. He seemed almost too happy that he was going to get a second go at Monsuta, or perhaps it was a joy from discovering somebody who could converse with him on 'that level'; she never discounted the possibilities. She would make nothing of the unusual elation. She would maintain a calm, professional air about herself--her energy taking on light shades of blue like a clear blue sky. As his hand moved towards her, she accepted it with an open palm, and then placed her other hand over his to shake it gently, locking it in. An agreement was made between the newfound allies, and their next order of business was figuring out a plan of attack. ''Now, we form a strategy,'' she replied to his question, dropping his hand and leaning back into the soft cushion of the chair. After a moment's thought, she gave a joking suggestion. ''I was thinking that we employ violence.''

''More specifically, I'd prefer a cloak and dagger approach at first. The less attention we attract, the better. And the remainder of the Monsuta in no way warrants a full scale war. As much as we'd both like to finish them off for good, nobody really wants a repeat of the Australia situation. Slimming down on the amount of explosions this time would improve the situation for all parties involved.''
While words filtered out through her mouth, waves coursed through her aura permeating the room, carrying with them thoughts to accentuate her voice. The Quincy would explain what was not, while her spirit would show what was. Deceit, redirection, and deconstruction; she wanted to cut off the head that was Tora Lionus, and then smash the flailing body apart underneath. She wanted to divide Monsuta, and then conquer them one by one, starting with its leader. Only if necessary would their fight involve a more flamboyant execution.

''We shouldn't involve too many people. You and I, plus a small team each should do the job. Any more than that would be necessary and susceptible to prematurely warning our prey. Sticking a knife into Tora's back requires that he not be facing you, after all. And provided we succeed? Then the remaining cells of the Monsuta will be separated and without direction. There will be those who scatter, going to ground to avoid the repercussions of Monsuta's end. There will also be those who stubbornly hold onto the roots of the dead organization... we will hunt those people down, and erase them. The goal is to forever discontinue what Monsuta was and is, so that it may never be restored, nor reincarnated.'' Sour dark blue pulses in the air. There was a melancholy about the permanence of the death, forever stripping them of a chance at redemption, but it was short-lived. They'd had their chances to choose new paths, but didn't. They stayed their course on a dark, decrepit way. Nozomi would hold no regret destroying the Monsuta and its people.

Pale Parley [Nozomi, Shadin, Private] Empty Re: Pale Parley [Nozomi, Shadin, Private]

Artist: aivi & surasshu - Song: Spaced Out Beats - Word Count: 1213

Through the rubbing of their skin, the deal was sealed and these two powerhouses made a pact to otherwise tear down the Monsuta. Once their hands were released from one another, The Beast of Karakura seemed to have his face relax and The Yuudeshi's over-elated excitement reached its peak. Following that escalation, the internal spikes of emotion and energy within himself soon balanced out. But -- there was a sense of uneasiness to that moment. Normally, he'd never consider himself to be that excessively enthusiastic; unless he was otherwise fueled by his Yuudeshi Drive or in the midst of combat. Yet -- this situation wasn't battle related at all and couldn't be traced back to the fine-tuning of his body.

No. It must've been something related to his powers. That is what the male's perceived sense of otherworldly intuition was telling him. Gauging from the male's internal estimates, there was low probability that The First Quincy over there otherwise tampered with his being. If there were any irregularities that entered into The Beast's body, or modified his altered space of reality, he'd know of it and dispense of it post-haste the picosecond it took place.

Hence, with that option being the least likely to have occurred, then the next deduction is to assume that their energy sync must've resonated at a fairly high frequency. There were so many rich aromas, thoughts, expressions, sentiments, power and openness infused and exchanged by the two of them during that exchange of their vital essences. So much so that perhaps, in an unconscious way, The Yuudeshi nearly longed for it. But -- that thought didn't feel right at all.

Ugh. Disgusting.

It was in that moment that The Yuudeshi then further realized this was the longest in sometime he spent intimate space with another being unaffiliated with his own clan, organization or associated in any way with The Yuudeshi Project and experimentation process. The only others who came this far into his personal domain were either glory seeking fools seeking a harsh defeat, or the sounds of those bratty TCCU Clones coming to check on him. So, there was a slight, but visible dazed look to the eye. It was there for only a millisecond, yet it registered to The Beast that his circle of trusted companions burned at a steady, but now noticeable rate since World War Three.

One by one, most of those whom he considered to be worthwhile confidants, companions and friends had dwindled down from its rich and fulling village, to but a handful of ceasing beings. In the midst of it all, The Beast's mind and heart had been so buried into his missions, duties, tasks, responsibilities, battles and wars that he lost sight of that fact.

So, with the presence of The First Quincy, it seemed to remind him of that reality -- but he still accepted it. Despite this void shattering feeling oozing into himself, at this point in his path, the male believed his road to be firmly set on a course to evolving past these -- petty -- thoughts and it would be water under the bridge once he obtained his ultimate goal.

Thus, as talk of invasion plans transitioned into Shadin's ears with a loud ringing sound, his conscious mind switched gears and was focused back into reality. When the ringing of the ears cased, his mind conveyed everything the woman said aloud in mere microseconds to bring the male back up to speed after his internal reflection. While The Yuudeshi's mind was capable of great analytical prowess, as to was it able to provide a staggering amount of emotional and spiritual deciphering if left idle for too long. Morphing and contorting itself into a living hell for the male to endure if he were not to otherwise get a grip of himself and these feelings.

Hence, to put himself back in the forward moving path, he'd nod his head to confirm that what Nozomi spoke was understood loud and clear to him. All the while, a melancholic, but focused aura emitted from him. Since, after all, on a psychological level it was easy to understand why going after a leader, figurehead or person of great authority was a good move. It killed morale, destroyed confidence and planted the seeds of doubt within the spirits of those who followed that enigma's lead. Without a person to guide them, it is easy for a society to crumble, fall apart and descend into chaos and destruction in no time flat. Ergo, The Beast would reply to her aura his own sentiments on the matter and why he remained such a strong figurehead for the nations and territories with that personal sentiment.

"Aye. I'm not too interested in a repeat of that fiasco myself. We'll need to take a surgeons approach and kill it precisely and carefully with the tools of power at our disposal."

And with that said, his voice turned somber while he leaned back into his chair and closed his eyes. With a folding the male's right leg, The Yuudeshi entered into a flashback and recalled the miserable incursion that was Australia. While it provided great leaps of power, research and insight due to the extreme life or death circumstances of the conflict; that success still came with far too much lost in the process. To see that kind of tension, death and destruction again on a grand-scale was not something he was necessarily interested in pursuing unless there was absolutely no other way to solve the problem.

"The male has retreated into hiding for now from my reports, so we'll either have to slay him when he presents himself, or give him a personal home check-up in one of their bases."

Opening his eyes once more, the Yuudeshi leaned back to an upright position, swayed his right hand to the left and projected a holographic blueprint of various Monsuta bases located in Australia, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and Qatar. And, given the combined probing skills of both himself and Nozomi, even with this large of a land mass under their control, it shouldn't take too long to discover his whereabouts even if they need to search by foot. Thus, as The Beast of Karakura inhaled and exhaled the grim vapors of The First Quincy's aura, he'd radiate his own glum, but resolved stance on this in order to put an end to this non-sense.

"So, the time for our attack can begin whenever we are both ready to pull the trigger on this thing. And, I don't know about yourself, but I'm ready to skewer this bastard at a moments notice. How about you?"

Ending on that note, The Beast's crimson gaze met The First Quincy's own blood stare. With this exchange of eyes, it was clear that their game plan was established. Yet, something within The Beast still felt off; but not even he himself wanted to dwell much further into it. Instead, to avoid those thoughts, the conscious mind of the male was ready to go guns blazing into the next conflict to distract himself and progress his objectives further. All that he was waiting on now was to see if his partner felt the same way.

Artist: Accel World - Song: Children's Domain

it was like a laser show; a fireworks display that only they two could see, as such was the subtleness of their aural communication. This modest living room could hardly contain the splendor of the painting they drew together, as the colors leaked out into the hall way and into the kitchen. It wasn't... wasn't really like the big bright spotlight into the sky one would expect. Instead, it was closer to a pair of children playing with a flashlight under the blankets. It was amusing to Nozomi how such a child-like feeling was brought out of her from such a serious discussion. She'd already had a higher regard for Shadin as a person before coming to meet him, just based on his public speeches and actions. But now, as if it wasn't so difficult, her opinion of him had increased further. ''Hmmmmmm~?'' she hummed softly to herself as she shed this new light on Shadin, though her voice was so soft it was questionable if it had even been heard, even for the male's enhanced hearing.

She ignored the reasonable hesitation from him though. Her Esperian energies swathed over him like a cool breeze, seemingly harmless, yet clearly with the potential to turn corrosive at any moment. If Nozomi was to make a metaphor of it, they were two Superpowers in a cold war, with nuclear warhead armed. They were so close and yet things could so easily be turned into a hellscape with the switch of a thought. The reason they did not even consider hostilities despite being in such a proximity, was because they each had so many deterrents. It was simply not worth it to attack, to even think about attacking because they both knew if it did come to a fight, a full-scale war would instead erupt, and neither side would truly win. Nozomi was able to come to this conclusion, and its why she was able to relax so easily. She showed no hesitation, and no uneasiness, but she understood where Shadin's doubts came from.

Still, as much as they may have been enjoying this moment, the truth of the matter was that it eventually had to end. Matters switched to the reason for this rendezvous, the Monsuta, and she gave her piece to the male. It would be just between her and him, and their respective teams. Besides that, word of this alliance would not escape either of their lips, for this was to be a small-scale operation. ''I am going to assume you have your own forces for this mission, and your own means of tracking him down. I'll be sending out a couple drones of my own to search, commissioning a couple satellites...'' She went on, listing the ways she had at her disposal to track him down, before finishing with the promise to contact him if he was found. ''I think it's best we don't show our hand too early either, even if we find some small sects of Monsuta acting up. Let the authorities of the lands they are in handle that much. That way, Tora doesn't suspect that he's in as much danger as he's actually in. He won't be relaxed, but he'll be less concerned than he should be.'' Crude, shady, but effective. She wouldn't ask such a thing from Shadin if she didn't believe it would do more good in the end.

Nozomi, pleased to see that such a powerful ally was on board with her for this, grinned once more. No longer wishing to taint the room with her soured aura due to the discussion over Tora Lionus, Nozomi rescinded her aura at once, creating a vacuum of energy as it was drawn back into the bounds of her form. Unlike the expressions of emotion on her face, the tinges of color in her aura were more difficult to hide, so she'd rather not weigh on him with the tension she was feeling over this operation. It was time to bring this meeting to an end regardless, and not spend too much time dilly-dallying in the house of such a powerful character. She didn't suspect they'd be discovered now, but they said one's enemies could be hiding anywhere, even where you least expect it. With that in mind, she began to speak words of closure. ''Consider me available at a moment's notice, you'll just have to drop me a call. Beginning after this meeting we'll go back to our normal everyday average lives, but I'm sure you'll be able to reach me if you think about it~'' The Yuudeshi network was very great and very technologically advanced, but he'd find that a wayward signal sent through it might just do the trick. No large network was without its bugs. Still, she didn't officially mention it aloud, for it was in her best interests to not have it removed. ''By the way, don't be a stranger. It seems we have certain things in common, and I'd hate for those interests to be wasted. After this little objective of ours is complete, let's be friends, hm?''

No answer would reach the ears of the First Quincy, however, because she figured she already knew the answer. By the time the last syllable escaped her lips, her visage vanished from existence, not so much as a trace of her being left behind. Had she been a mirage, or an illusion? Perhaps, though it'd seemed so real when she was there. Nonetheless, now was not the time to worry about such small things. They were on a quest now, good against evil. It was time to start preparing.
