She appeared from nowhere, materializing from thin air as her eyes opened. Fires burned in those red eyes of her, her pinkish red hair rustling despite there being no wind at the moment. She wore a simple white dress ending at her knees, though her legs and feet were completely bare as she turned around to face the building behind her. Her lips turned upwards in a manic grin as she looked upon Karakura Hospital, her former prison. A hand wrapping around the pendant that hung around her neck, she knew that she didn't have long. Her previous stay here would mean that they had recorded her spiritual energy, allowing them to know she had returned. It was time to work quickly, get things done as quickly as possible before she returned to her family. Her eyes shone as her mouth opened, words spilling forth from it in the ancient tongue, one which would be unlikely to be known by others upon this realm. Speaking words in the language of reality itself, her will flowed outwards, taking her energy with it as her command was spoken.

"Karakura Hospital will explode, destroying it entirely."

Eyes shining with power as her thin body wobbled slightly, she watched as a sudden explosion rocked the building before her. Her grin widened as rubble poured down and flames engulfed the remainder of the building. Sure, she had been forced to expend most of her energy, but the destruction of her place of torment was the only thing she cared about. Falling to her knees, her breath came in short gasps, the act she had just performed having taken more out of her then she had thought. She needed to get away before others started to come around. A cackle of manic laughter left her, let them come. She still have enough energy to fight if forced to, and even if they did capture her it wasn't like they would be able to kill her. Let them come, and let them feel pain!

The day was nice having came to Karakura in her tour of the world Anise could not help but wonder what it was like here around the time she lived, it was a good question and one that could only be truly answered by her memory's. She would be walking down the street her normal white robe on with her Rapier hanging at her side. Her bone earrings would show which race she was and if that did not the hole in her chest would. As she walked she would be studying her memory's going through them once again as if actually there. Life was quint a big family though they always were in despair the doll could not help but miss what she never knew.

As she stopped her walk would take her to the street across from the hospital upon coming to her senses, ie no longer watching her memory's she began too look over the building if only to become stricken with a force enough to send her moving back a few steps. This was bad the building had exploded and it had too be a hospital, everyone was screaming it had created chaos and Anise was in the middle of it, having recently joined a group bent on protecting the world she felt obliged to help these beings. No matter she had two choices attempt to locate the culprit or help some humans that were caught in the blast, She gave it a thought tapping her foot on the ground before coming too a stop as she came too a decision.

She would find the person responsible, and the reason why they did this then get them into custody. Anise would focus her energy sourcing skills and begin looking around the area for any unusual signs of reishi, it didn't take long to find one a weakening as well as standing still in the middle of all the chaos this was indeed a person of interest someone watching the fruits of their works and not afraid to run and hide. Anise would utilize Sonido to reach her target quickly and upon seeing the girl Anise would frown hearing a dark chuckle which caused her to begin placing her left hand on her Zanpaktou as she steadied her stance and began to talk too the girl on her knee's.

Your under arrest, either you come or force me to do something i don't wanna do.

Anise would draw her blade upon issuing her warning it would cause her to smile acting all tough like a police man she could get used to this, if the girl refused to come along she would die and be eaten all for the greater good of course the earth needed to be safe and that was the dolls job.

Yeah -- NO.

Those were the first few minds to come to mind when the pulsation of a rabid spiritual energy was sensed attempting to destroy Karakura Hospital. It looked like the building was destroyed, it smelled like the building was destroyed and it almost even sounded like the sounds of tormented souls were real -- but it wasn't. Why was this so? Simple: Karakura Central's Defenses.

The moment that enemy action was taken against the building, the nanomachines that comprised the city were able to automatically go into work transporting the hospital into a sub-dimension known as "The Imaginary District" within Karakura Central. While in its place, they left an illusion of the former building and allowed the intruder to more or less fall under the notion they obliterated the facility.

This structure has faced previous attacks in the past, and they were more than prepared for this sort of straight-forward attack against them. So a plan was already put into place, the intruders spiritual energy locked and the time for this person's stay in Karakura was all but coming to a close. At least, that is what The Beast of Karakura intended.

Indeed, the assailant chose the wrong day to attack this facility. During one of his many fine-tunings, Shadin Yuudeshi, otherwise known as one of the founders of Karakura Central, was adjusting injuries to himself from The Yuudeshi Project. Laying inside of a dull gray hospital room with no windows, the albino man laid shirtless on a tan bed staring into the ceiling when the attempt began.

Closing his crimson hued eyes, a gruff sigh escaped the males pale lips as he knew the beginnings of something absurd was in the works. Clenching on to his ash colored jeans, the man pulled himself out of bed, put on a pair of black shoes and began the process of cornering the crook. While putting on a white colored, long-sleeved shirt with gray vertical stripes; the defenses of the city had the information of where the fugitive struck.

Thus, it was able to almost instantly conjure up a dense barrier to lock the intruder in. It took up the space of the unknown assailants body, glowed with a golden shine to it and seemed to be three times stronger than the actual barrier across Karakura Central due to its small and concreated size. Ergo, getting out of this trap, given the targets power, seemed rather low according to estimates from the Yuudeshi Project.

However, that wasn't it. Throughout the entire region? The Yuudeshi Network already scanned, analyzed and recognized the type of power they were dealing with. Thanks to the nanobots in the air, they were able to observe what took place moments to the explosion. In this clue, they picked up high alterations to the existence within Karakura Central upon the chanting of the words: "Karakura Hospital will explode, destroying it entirely." When those words were uttered into the world, an explosion somehow generated and it led them to believe that a definite user who could manipulate reality was in their presence.

In light of dealing with a reality warper, The Network, through Shadin's authorization, went to work locking down the area. Throughout the entire city, the particles that matched this person's power were "blocked". That is to say, The Yuudeshi Network did have the capacity to resist any further alterations to the environment by producing complex and microspheric barriers that locked on to the terrorist's attacks. If she attempted to bend reality once more? The Yuudeshi Network would overwhelm it with its influence and negate it outright from materializing into effect. This vessel, and Shadin Yuudeshi himself, had more than enough power, speed and intricate knowledge to do so.

Snapping his fingers while still confined to the hospital, he'd increase the strength of the barrier to the point where the assailant may very well be deceased at this point. Judging from their low spiritual energy, and how taxed their body was, it could be inferred that their body, soul and all objects on them could not withstand the raw strength to which the shield was amplified. As, even with the regular barrier that is functional throughout Karakura Central, most weaker creatures of species who fall prey to domes effects are noted to die by the effects associated with the shield. So, with this maximized version of it, death would almost be a certainty.

Putting on his white, fur-hooded jacket; grabbing a mechanized cane and clenching on to an strange electrode-like collar that was black in hue across his neck, The Beast of Karakura seemed to be ready to make his presence known. In but an instant, he went from the underground section to the hospital and maneuvered himself towards the front exit of the facilities. Coming out the fires of what seemed to be the obliterated building, that illusion fell to pieces and bursted into a thousand shattered remains. In its place? The Original Karakura City Hospital morphed back into place, but was put under The increased protection of The Yuudeshi Network.

With a deadened expression across his face, Shadin only let out a satisfied sigh. Manic grin? Intent to cause massive bodily harm or death? Yeah. It was another piece of well-oiled scum looking to get put in their place. Memories of Sou's demented rampage still fresh in his mind, there were some people in his mind who were just beyond saving and needed to be dealt with like the animals they were. ANd judging from this woman's actions? It was safe for him to assume that taking the life of one, compared to the many in Karakura Central, was more than fair.

Thus, as he leaned on his cane with his right hand, The Beast of Karakura held out his left hand, clenched it and aimed to have the very existence around the target implode on itself; attempting to outright erase everything where the assailant was now that most of the general public were warned to stay away from the vicinity. The Yuudeshi Network aimed to outright expunge the targets body, any objects or weapons on them and purge their very soul to be cleansed and ready to be reborn in the soul cycle; obliterating everything they were in that moment of purification. It would repeat this process microsecond after microsecond with the speed in which Shadin Yuudeshi could produce energy. This assault would not stop until the enemy was rendered silent and disposed of.

Glancing towards the Arrancar whom went by the name of "Anise" none too far from the scene, Shadin's eyes flashed bright white before a cosmic-like pressure slammed into the creature. Since it didn't seem to be causing any ruckus, this would be rather "tame" compared to his other methods of dealing with Arrancar and Demons in Karakura Central. "You aren't in the database of approved citizens of Arrancar or Demonic origins. So I'm not sure what your business here is in Karakura Central, but I'd recommend making it clear before I lose my patience. You're on a short fuse."

These words were gruff, to the point and very true to his intent. Through the power oozing from him even in this restricted base state, it felt was if there was a never-ending stream of energy that lead on to the deepest portions of infinity. Although no being had that capacity in the universe, nor The Yuudeshi himself, the aura of the male was just that potent and could very well inflict psychological fear into weaker spirits if their willpower was weak.

"And don't impersonate an officer again or I'll be sure to look after your demise." Now focusing his eyes back to the sights of the lone attacker, he'd await to see what would come of his methods. All he wanted now was this girl to be broken and rendered a non-threat. If she wanted to make an enemy of Karakura Central? Very well. She'd have one hell of an enemy to contend with.

More than that, however, to further ensure they weren't disturbed, with the pulsation of numerous spirits being felt converging towards the area, The Beast of Karakura Central placed a five city block barrier around himself, the terrorist and Arrancar to prevent anymore spirits from getting dragged into this. Karakura Central was then placed on high alert and ready to deal with any threat that may or may not be heading their way.

"I'm not sure who you are, what your purposes is or why you did what you did; but I do know one thing. Do you want to know what it is? I know that you are going to regret making this city your target and fail in your mission to destroy. So go out not with a bang, but with a whimper, you miserable terrorist." Uttering those words out to whatever was left of the assailant, The Beast of Karakura held his position and stared with uncaring eyes as he watched the fruits of his labor come forth.

This was just -- the Defenses of Karakura Central.

Witch's revenge [open] Empty Re: Witch's revenge [open]

It is just like that when Yuu senses a spike in the reishi current in the air around her. At the time, she was sketching a new outfit in her villa at the Housing District and that shock of force nearly led her hand abruptly astray. Luckily she did not have the graphite on the vellum yet, so she did not ruin her piece. All the same, it ticks her off when something nearly does so.

During the time at the hospital long while ago, she was contemplated while watching Shadin and the others fight Eric Zarathos. All these yearning within her—they all have something in common and she can make a guess that they all occur when she is near Shadin. She knows that she is a sworn friend to Shadin, almost as close as siblings. However, the truth is that they are not related and it does not feel right to see Shadin holding the burden while she could at least do something that would fill in the gap. Perhaps she was thinking that way because she was just passing the blame onto Shadin and made him the victim, not herself. Like her former self, she loathed to be the victim and viewed herself as a strong-willed individual that no one should worry about or someone people should forget, like a shadow. She felt guilty for what she had done to the city, but in her mind, it was necessary because in her eyes, these people are not contributing to the war. There is no way anyone would know if it really was the Monsuta who set it off, not even Shadin. Even if there was some kind of a psychic, the event was set and done and people would dismiss it as a hoax to make the alliance look like the bad guys. Perhaps as a Shadow, people can simply forget who she is, but why does she feared that Shadin would think less of her if he knew? No. Not possible. No way…No how. The guilt is already on her shoulders and she is still healing.

Off the top of her head, she can feel Shadin getting involved at the hospital. So Yuu replies in return that as his shadow, she should be by his side. With her heart beating harder at the thought of returning to Shadin’s side, she places her pencil down and departs from her drafting table. If opportunity would allow her, she could try to talk to Shadin after it was done. However, what he’ll think of her after all she had done and accidentally discovered that she—his most trusted friend—was the cause of the death of well over a dozen of his TCC Units just because she wanted to make the Monsuta look like a bigger threat and in turn make the Shadow Fall coalition look even more threatening? No, that can’t be a reason for doing so. That kind of deception would be called out easily. Memory is hazy after the encounter with Eric Zarathos and from there, she touches her left hand—the hand that Shadin grasped onto to heal her and bring her back from the brink that is all too familiar to her. In the end, Yuu can only guess that she will have to do her job and keep Karakura safe, thus eventually, Shadin will know that Yuu cares about him, even if it meant sacrificing a piece of her humanity to prove to him. It is strange that she knows she sacrificed something or a lot of things to continue being loyal, but she still feels like nothing was ripped out of her body yet.

Yuu picks up her sun-burnt black baseball cap and puts it on before putting a belt on with her Iaito Asauchi sheathed and tied to her belt. After putting on her socks, shoes, undershirt and a black Dungeons & Dragons t-shirt, Yuu takes her cellphone and calls in for a situation report or a sit-rep as she vanishes into the darkness that consumed her from below. The next moment, Yuu phases from a black hole that appears from the floor at the hospital. Knowing her precision, Shadin could tell that she arrived close to the source’s location to analyze the situation before going in. While hidden away, Yuu notice the belt feels colder than it should have and smoother. Unfortunately, a few knew how scatterbrained Yuu was when she was in her off-days as Yuu quietly squeaked at the discovery that she forgot her pants! In a quick effort to cover it up, she takes off the belt and summons her black haori with the calligraphic insignia of “Ichikage” or “First Shadow.” Then she wraps the haori around her entire body before using the belt to secure the haori. By first glance, it would appear as a black dress with designs similar to a captain’s haori. Yuu was blushing a bit as it was the first time in a very long time that she critically screwed up her arrival.

“I’ll never hear the end of this if Shadin or Zin caught wind of this blunder!” Yuu mentally speaks to herself—devoid of verbal sound. So far, the network informed her that the suspect should be contained in a golden sphere and is a pink-haired girl with a white dress while she is a reality warper. When Yuu manages to find the suspect, she recognizes the barrier as more of an execution orb that Shadin uses to outright kill weak terrorists. When Shadin appear into the scene, Yuu immediate exits from her stealthy state, knowing it is all over now. Yuu does notice the Arrancar and Shadin told him not to impersonate an officer. Yuu pouts at the idea that an unregistered Arrancar was impersonating a member of authority in Karakura—and Shadin definitely would know that Yuu has a large chip on her shoulder about Arrancar and Hollows that started before the big battle against Souske Aizen. She walks over to Shadin’s side, going counterclockwise around the gold sphere as she has her grasp on her Iaito’s hilt.

“I’m sorry for being late to respond to this, Shadin. I was in the middle of designing a dress—for um…” Yuu stammers a bit as she was one of the worst liars in Karakura when it comes to talking, despite being very deceptive with her pragmatism, “For a customer.” Yuu blushes a bit as she keeps her eyes on the suspect, because if she really is a reality warper, Yuu must be ready to cut her down within the second she would try to escape and provide resistance. If she does, it would appear as a blinding flash and a sound of a gun going off as Yuu would bypass the suspect’s immediate defense and sever half of her powers through wounding her or potentially severing her right forearm with a sliding flash strike. The Asauchi may have been called the Shallow Cut, but it is still sharp enough to dismember the limbs of lesser folks like her as Yuu made sure that all her weapons are sharpened once a week and after each battle. For all this to consider, when someone can warp reality by speaking, it is better that the person cannot say anything except for a scream to throw off her concentration.

Witch's revenge [open] Empty Re: Witch's revenge [open]

Artist: Unknown - Song: Reality's End - Word Count: 2017

Well, it seems that it was quite a commotion in the depths of the Karakura City itself, with the sound of an explosive fire that roared through the air and a visual activity in that area, a building collapsing that was built out of a replicated data. A trick that can be mastered as long as one has enough ability to do so. He couldn't really blame the one that tried taking down the hospital, especially when such cases perked his interest with the ability to distort reality, something that could change how the rules and the laws of reality works through every dimensions and its fabrics of space-time that manifests itself in such a place. While it does not seem to be that large of an influence, it was an ability worth researching, this was the reason that this one young man involved himself in this situation. Care or to not care, well, he'd rather give a little of an attention to this pitiful young girl and her abilities to extend such a level of destruction. He wouldn't be too surprised about this, to be honest.

Since there would be quite some people to pit themselves into retaining this thread, he would take his chance and cover his face using the hood and completely shadowing his face, only leaving his mouth and his glowing violet eyes to be visible in the shadows of his hood. Cracking his fingers as he approaches this battlefield, the young man had an intriguing appearance amongst the fighters that decided to become apart of this damned battlefield. A white hooded jacket that shadowed his face, there was a pair of cat ears popping out from the hood of the jacket when he worn it above his head to make sure his face was hidden from the public, even the cameras or witnesses that may be watching him from afar or even close-up. Unbuttoned jacket, his t-shirt can be seen inside that had a characteristics of a black and violet color that stems to the sides of the t-shirt, while wearing a pair of white pants that is supported by a belt that wraps across his waist. The only common characteristics that all of his clothes has is the unique symbol designed on each and every nook of his clothes. Resembling a symbol of a power point, it is something personal to his own tastes and each bears its own meaning, and altogether? He was Hisao Yazaki, nothing more and nothing less. Not a great hero or a great villain, just an average young man with his youth. Though, that's all with the presentation and introductions.

Stretching his neck to the side, his expression can be easily read by how his lips move, react and express. His lips were on a straight line, slightly bent down which expresses a distaste for this 'witch', if he has to call it for her abilities to distort reality. When it first rang through the air, it was already long before he figures out the way it works when the building began to explode and collapse. Well, indeed, it does seem a realistic collapse, but further investigation had its flaws. The former image of the building was not perfect, no.. Nothing was perfect. Further calculations gave an appropriate information that such things were nothing more than a leftover data after a split-second transportation of a building, although it is unknown to him where it was transported, but hell, if he were to guess, this man has done a pretty good job, that not even Hisao himself can perform such feats using machines as well. Twisting the earpiece that is clipped directly to his left ear, he was preparing himself to this damned battlefield and make sure that this youngster is back to her feet from being such an insane woman and do whatever she wants.

Of course, precautions would be taken accordingly as well. Given to what he has obtained about her ability, when she spoke her words, Hisao was able to detect a rather obvious changes to the surroundings. In general, reality distortion is an ability that affects reality, changing its laws and rules before manifesting something or even anything into existence. Depending on the capability of the user, such abilities is a high-level power that can be used rather powerfully once they've reached a certain level of their spiritual power. By 'influencing' the surroundings, there was a collective distribution of spiritual energy that spreads across the air when his cyberbrain had picked up the changes in the wavelengths of air particles, the movements of electrons and protons and even the intensity of the air when the witch had spoke of destroying the hospital with nothing more than a few words. The distortion effect comes from the influence of one's energy against reality, but in general, their energy 'influences' the reality and forces the fabrics of space-time to break down and manifest the reality's 'shapes and forms' before doing one's biddings. These energies that influences the reality has a specific 'type' of information that allows these changes and manifestations, hence why it becomes a distortion.

To him, this knowledge and the thesis of it is rather interesting, and countering it would be easy as long as the user is still new to this type of distortion stuff, which he had devised a basic machinery that throws off the balance, formation and collectivity of spiritual energy that spreads across the air. By tuning into different frequencies, it is pretty much shooting off a random frequencies to confuse the information that influences reality that all of the spiritual energy holds before its manifestations, and by throwing off a balance and wavelengths that connects these spiritual energy, it could either be nulled or become something else that is much weaker than expected. Such as if one would cause an explosion in this case, although he was too late by then it happened, if such devices was used against it, most likely that the explosion would become nothing more than a spark, a small pop that can't even hurt a fly. If not, it would not even exist at this point, since the frequency rings the balances of the energy, it may as well be either break itself apart before travelling and affecting the dimensions before manifestation, or a majority of the influence would be broken down, only leaving nothing more than a speck of dusts that can only manifest a fairly weak power. Just a plan, and something he may use for his own if there would be a time to encounter such.. interesting enemy.

With all that in mind, thanks to his electromagnetism ability, feats even wihout the mechanics is possible to do so as he had devised his plans and calculations if this 'witch' even tries to use her ability again. Whether to escape or to attack, before the sequence is done, if he had theorized it, the sequence of such reality distortion ability is from distributing her energy, influence the surroundings with collective energy and wavelengths, and then, manifestation of reality that would become anything to her bidding. By disturbing that sort of sequence using a frequency of a type, then the effect would be weakened, as said before, but rather than to use a device, electromagnetism would be possible for such things. Though, concentration is an important feat to this plan since he would need time and coordination to do so. Breaking into a grin, his presence would be known the moment he had arrived in such an area, where everyone was already starting to throw their attacks and their might to wound this young girl. Well, since there's people, he doesn't want to be rude, doesn't he? The few people here was rather well-known even in Gotei 13's aspects, well, especially Shadin who made his presence fairly clear to the public to be the protector of this city. Admirable, but there's no time for squeaking fan boys, as they have more of a threat to deal with.

"Yo."

Speaking in a playful tone, his voice of that short moment had a rough mixture between korean accent and japanese accent, both intermixed as the japanese accent is more dominant on its own, together with his deep and dark voice that echoes through the air, not to say he was an interesting fellow but more.. edgy. He couldn't help but to sweat at the energy that streams throughout the protected area, even for a man as insane as himself, this kind of energy is beyond his understanding nor his capability to understand fear. Well then, it was showtime, isn't it? Waving his hand, the mechanized weapons seemed to hide behind his back for a long time, following the way his body moves and keeping itself still in position behind his back before it was given a command to make itself public to the eyes of the world, six mechanized weapons, which he named them 'Nasods', capable to become as powerful as a cero from a Menos that fires a thin electromagnetic beam that may as well be an enemy of the hollows. While indeed that he is not physically powerful himself, but when it comes to ranged combat and speed? Well, it is better not to deal with him if you're not up for a whole new level of tricks and games to his ideal world of intellect.

Still having his own face hidden in the battlefield, even with a greeting that he did, Hisao never intended to tell them his name, and prefer to keep himself out of the public's face than to openly scream his name as if he was a celebrity who wants to be known by the world. Given to his clothing, even wihout saying his name, the attire is too obvious for the truth. This is how the world works, it keeps spinning and spinning, questions appear everywhere, the world keeps burning endlessly and darkness would root around the place, whether the certain place is a heaven or hell, every atom of it, that evil is always there, hence that Hisao became solitary and less likely to trust anyone at all, no matter how good will they are, how.. dramatic they are in a way, that even deception would become virtually useless against him since he had gone through that experience himself. Tapping onto his hood with a grin on his head, no more traumatic past, or some good ol' talk in this one. Just pure destruction that shall make sure the witch may never become the one she is right now.

His fingers snapped a little bit, each and every one of his Nasods would point itself at the likes of the witch, and when she moves? Well, it would automatically adjust its position and open fire its beams that moves as fast as any cero would move on its speed but slightly faster. If she were to try and use her ability to break down his weapons? The second his Dynamo and the cyberbrain had detected any changes in the atmosphere, these Nasods would create an electromagnetic frequency that unleashes in a form of a wave. No sound nor conductivity held in it, presuming that it is a 'radio wave' type that it releases, the frequency is much higher than an ordinary radio wave, and these frequency may as well weaken or cancel out her reality distortion ability before it can even reach his Nasods ever so quickly since all he need was to interrupt the 'sequence' before the manifestations of her powers that allows the term 'distortion'. Unable to harm anyone, it has been used to counter anything that has a 'sequence', a 'phase', 'stage' or anything process that something has to undergo and outright interrupt it before it has any time to manifest itself by the energy they try to influence the world around them. Hopeless for instant attacks, he had grasp how the witch's ability works at this point, and pretty much with a few people around her, Hisao would probably act as a support on his stage. Now then, what will it be?

Witch's revenge [open] Empty Re: Witch's revenge [open]

Her eyes widened as words floated across them, this was certainly not what she had expected. The whole hospital had been replaced by nothing more than an illusion, a false karakura hospital, and it was only because of her witch's eyes that she could tell what it truly was. Then why had her ability struck the illusion instead of the real one? Simple, because the illusion was still a 'karakura hospital'. While her ability had allowed her to force the event of karakura hospital exploding, and making it happen soon, she hadn't taken in to account for there being multiple karakura hospitals. The result, the explosion happened to the illusion, not the real hospital she had been aiming for.

It was then that the shield hit her, forming around her as her eyes widened. Her skin was vaporized, the power of the shield that had been sent to confine her too much for her body to withstand. However, as her skin vaporized, it simply regrew itself, regenerating at such an insane rate that the damage just could not keep up with it. Curling herself protectively around her pendant, her face was contorted in a grimace of pain. She had surely dealt with more then this previously, and thus she was capable of withstanding the great amount of pain shooting through her body. Laying on the ground, curled up in a ball to protect her amulet, she could see people gathering around her. A strange lady who had she had formerly ignored, the supposed police officer. The next person was a strange white haired man with red eyes, Mari's eyes widening in recognition. It was Shadin Yuudeshi, the beast of karakura, and someone she knew she should be afraid of. She saw the man clench his fist, and agonizing pain flew through her body. Her eyes shut tightly, screams of intense pain left her as her body started to implode, only for her regeneration to fix the damage. The pain was too much for her, and curled up in a ball as she was, she was quite lucky her body protected her pendant from being harmed. Her screams stopped her from speaking, and even if she could form words she simply did not have enough energy to empower her ability.

It was fortunate for her that the yuudeshi network could not stop her regeneration. While it might be able to detect when she manipulated reality and stop it at that time, this was quite different. This was reality already, she was not manipulating it. Her regeneration took no energy, it was constantly healing her body to peak performance no matter what. It was simply a part of who she was. Dealing with the pain she was being forced through, her body just barely surviving what was happening to her, eventually she would become used to it. Slowly her screams would becomes sobs and then whimpers, and eventually she would be capable of speaking. Her energy did not react, her will did not rise as she spoke, something that was quite different then when she used her ability.

"No... city not... hospital... must destroy... hospital... won't let you... won't let you have my soul!"

The last words were spoken with conviction, determination shining in her eyes as she opened them to glare at those who had come to put her down. She wouldn't, she absolutely wouldn't allow them to take her soul, to destroy her. Even if it meant using a hostage, a tactic that disgusted Mari to all ends, she simply would not allow her soul to be taken from her.

The building changing only meant one thing that would cause Anise to begin to look around taking a small breathe as she once again looked over the hospital that had been recently exploded now somehow, the building was back too normal and the numerous people that were in the area where now starting to scatter like roaches clearing the area as if for a battle to come, Anise was getting quite nervous and in a panic of sorts she began scanning the area for energy then with a glance upward she would look toward the hospital, her view now blocked by a figure of sorts she would look up passing over a cane then a jacket which was hooded though the moment she caught the mans eye's flashing bright she would fall to the ground with a thud the power being over powering to the point of almost passing out she would focus however her eye's taking in another look at the male trying to grasp what he was saying though she was weak and with the small attempt to even listen she was fading quicker and quicker, Her rapier would fall from her hand as she pushed off the ground trying to get up in burst attempt only to cause holes from her strength were her hands was and another thud as she was forced back on too the ground.

Upon tuning the energy she felt what seemed like a never ending supply and at the moment a unique feeling she was sweating heavily and breathing at a speed she had never before, she was scared and now using he focus again she would attempt look up only to notice a fading image of more beings arriving into the area and with the civilians moving out prior she only knew that these people were ally's of the man that had assaulted her. Was this how she was too be treated arriving to this town in order to attain her badge marking her as a official Vanguard member, in order too protect these pitiful humans though she had her own goals assuming, now she outright hated the idea of protecting any of them and with all her pent up power she would let out a yell gargled due too the class of power on her but it would leave her lips loud enough for everyone near to hear, Vanga Now she was passing out not even in time to get her final word off her counter attack would happen now as if there would not be one upon being hit the doll began hyper compressing her memory's though it took a lot of focus she needed to pull together since the the man before her was something she had never seen shaking her very core and with not even the ability too stand or talk she could only hope to erase herself until she could crawl away.

Upon Anise fully passing out her body would expel a wave 40 feet around her comprised of her reishi anyone to close would gain amnesia losing memory's at a vast rate before fully succumbing too the technique in a whole however upon the blast reaching it's end a mist would begin too linger within the area around anise 20 feet to be exact with the same affect as the wave expelled the victim foolish enough too venture near anise without preparation would forget why they even walked there to begin with forgetting everything about anise in general.

Witch's revenge [open] Empty Re: Witch's revenge [open]

Artist: Iuchi Maiko - Song: Ketsui to Kakugo - Word Count: 1570

One of the first changes on the battlefield that Shadin noticed was the sudden appearance of Yuu's energy. As usual, she seemed to be a few steps behind wherever The Beast of Karakura would walk. If this was her desire to travel down this blood-soaked path with him to a better world? Then so be it. He'd not lecture her and tell the obvious facts of the situation they were in; for she had seen enough dangerous combat within her lifetime to warrant the thought in The Yuudeshi's head that his shadow could indeed handle herself. Still, he couldn't shrug off the feeling that it was rather un-needed once he subdued the subject; so perhaps there was something much more to her arrival than once thought. From what Shadin observed from Yuu lately, his bodyguard had began to an accelerated desire to be around him; more so than usual. If he hadn't known any better, he'd almost fall under the assumption that the woman had a sort of love interest in him of some kind or another

But, with his lust deluded to a very deathed state, he'd not indulge such thoughts so easily. There would be many bonds that would have to be broke for that side of Shadin to once again see the light of day. For the ringing pain of Midori's death still very much clenched The Yuudeshi's soul and he'd not open his heart to another for romance and courtship. The bond in which he and Midori were simply too great to ever move on from. Remembering all the family they raised, the adventures they endured together, the city they rebuilt and the happy life they once led so many years ago almost brought the man to tears if it weren't for the fact he was still in an active battlefield.

Thus, as Yuu stammered and stuttered her way to the scene, Shadin could only give her an acknowledging nod. He'd already seen the blunder that took place within the depths of the hospital, but had no intentions of letting her know that out of a desire to keep her levels of embarrassment from skyrocketing any further.

"Don't worry yourself over such trivial things. I just happened to be around and saw a brat that needed a paddling. So I was here at the right place at the right time and nothing more than that." Speaking in a gruff tone; the blank expression further washed over Shadin's face as he sighed and set his sights back on the targets at hand.

As like a spark in the night, the light of a new ally arriving on the field briefly caught his attention. Utilizing face recognition software and analyzing the pattern of the white haired Shinigami's energy, Shadin's cybernetic mind moved at unfathomable speeds and deduced that the callous looking male was none other than Hisao Yazaki of the Gotei 13. The boy had been making a name for himself recently, enough to raise a slight eyebrow from the data Shadin did skim over him. But, alas, he wasn't much interested in making conversation at the moment.

He'd let the male do what he needed to do as there was no way that the suspect could ever have a chance of escaping with all three of them rushing to the field. There almost wasn't even a need for him to be here at this point; as Yuu and Hisao could handle the foe easily enough. So perhaps he felt out of place in this bizarre scene, but since he started it, he'd more than likely finish it.

"Do what you need to do, Shinigami. I'll land the finishing the move to subdue the suspect and you can do what you want to the brat." And with those cold words, the actions that took place after that were all but instinct to The Beast of Karakura; for it all came in a blur until the willpower of the fanatic terrorist woke him from his minds dismal slumber.

Locking eyes with each other, The Beast of Karakura could indeed sense the determination and desire to live radiating from the pink haired girl at his feet. Perhaps it was his new found mercy that came into play after the events in Australia, but a notion came over his mind that he'd spare the girl from meeting the reaper on this day. Thus, from inside the barrier the enclosed Mari within, a DES Choker materialized around her neck and went in to latch itself to the criminal's throat.

The intended effect of this collar was to indeed shut off all access to Mari's powers, nerf her physical capacities to that of an average human and keep her under lock and control. With her weakened state barely being able to stand up against the Beast of Karakura? The chances of this having its intended effect were rather great.

"I apologize, but you aren't destroying anything, kid. If you keep pressing your luck, I'll have you butchered and mistakened for a piece of modern art if you insist on causing harm to my city." Those words were not intended to be an intimidation tactic; for he meant every sentence that uttered out of his mouth. As his facial expression deadened; The Yuudeshi decided to show her the same mercy he gave those out-of-control Ziamichi's whom he sheltered and give her another chance at life.

"So, instead, I want to be humane and put away the mask of a beast for awhile and make you an offer." Stepping closer to the dome in which he trapped Mari in, The Beast of Karakura seemed to hold a non-aggressive expression across his face. However, in the palm of his right hand, a ball of white energy formed. This sphere of power did not look impressive, but all those in the battlefield? They could sense that this orb had enough destructive capacity behind it to destroy Karakura Central itself if The Yuudeshi so chose to.

"I can tell you've endured physiological changes due to your powers because it is a common occurrence these days. If my hunch is correct, I'd like to grant you a chance to take part in my rehabilitation program to get your life back on track instead of snuffing your life out like a candle." Hunching down on one knee, he'd then come face to face with Mari from outside of the barrier. Pointing his all annihilating orb at her, The Yuudeshi made sure she'd understand that he'd be ready to kill her at a moments notice if she so decided to continue path of vengeance.

"Or, you can chose the route of radical and proceed with fighting a futile battle as the many spirits I've fought in the past did. Yeah, become like the countless other shitheads who came before you and fill yourself with anger to try and outpower the facts of reality that wear down against you. Give forth to the lack abstinence and become too stubborn to recognize a good deal when I give you one. In doing so, morph yourself to that of a moth rushing into the flames to die as I burn the traces of your soul into a fine oblivion."

With the pressure of the barrier becoming increased, the strain on Mari's soul at this point would feel akin to the depths of a planet crushing against the very essence of her spirit. In this way, The Yuudeshi meant business and he'd pull the kill switch based on the reaction or response he got from the girl.

But, before he could finish his speech against the terrorist, the power of the Vanguard operative next to The Yuudeshi caught his attention. Upon hearing her final passing words, a bizarre ability attempted to rewire his brain to make The Beast of Karakura lose his memory. However, if it was one thing he was resistant against, it was attacks of the mind. Thus, the functions of his energy would spark alive within himself and form a mental barrier to block out the attempt to make him full under the spell of amnesia.

However, this pull of his concentration did make The Yuudeshi realize he made a serious blunder: this Arrancar somehow became apart of The Vanguard. Upon realizing this fact, Shadin let out a heavy sigh and realized he pulled the trigger too swiftly before bothering to check the facts. To this end? He'd release his pull on Annie and begin transferring the ample amounts of energy that lay vested in The Yuudeshi Network to the Hollow. By doing this, he gave forth instructions to mend and heal her body back to fighting state and attempt to transport her back to the depths of Vanguard for recovery.

'I...am sorry...' And with that, those words would be infused into the mind of Annie through telepathy. They'd await for her to awaken once more and deliver the sincerest of remorse and regret for what The Yuudeshi had done. If nothing else, he'd leave her an ample amount of energy sealed within her body to bolster her powers to an extent as a token of his apology.

But alas, the final bid of his focus would be placed on Mari. In a few finals words, he'd ask her this:

"Now tell me: will you choose life...or will you choose death like so many who came before you?"
