The Beginning Of The Light [OPEN] Empty The Beginning Of The Light [OPEN]

Thu Jun 19, 2014 4:37 am

Artist: N/A - Song: N/A - Word Count: 1131

Sound of snoring within one of the patient rooms, with a cold air of the air conditioner when there was a figure relaxing on a soft white bed with a pillow beneath his head. A clock was visibly seen onto a cabinet of the room, specifically for the patients to place their things onto it for convenience, round-shaped with green outlines, taking its time to tick each second with a battery powering it from behind of the clock itself for its gear to spin and run its workings to count the time for him. It was early in the morning when the sun rose from its deepest slumbers of the night, rising from the mountains in the distance before its light pierced the darkness across the city, and not to mention, its light shone right through the windows of the patient in the certain room of a being. Ticking its last second, the alarm went off and rang through his ears, opened his eyes in a shock of that moment before stopping the clock's alarm with a light slam onto the head of the clock itself.

Groaning behind the door of the patient, his figure was obvious with bandages that wrapped around his head, across his right arm and around his chest area. The figure of the young man had bright crimson hair, and reaching right about the neck-length, it was a trait of his aggressiveness, without any hint of whiteness on every strand of his hair, no process nor any signs of aging that occurs naturally on humans, it doesn't seem to apply to the young man. His eyes that glanced throughout the room with his newly-awoken eyes from his slumbers throughout the entire night was blood red in its color, having your soul pierced by an invisible spear when the weak-willed makes a direct eye contact with the human, eyes of a monster, a demon from the underworld that one cannot explain whether he was a mortal human or not, building questions about his existence. His build was average, as tall as a normal japanese male, he stands around 6 feet tall if judged his height wihout the need to stand and measure it, his body build is not that all great, but appearance is cunning afterall.

His right wrist had a machine running it, the source of keeping him alive throughout all these battles, it may be something that he trusted his own life against it. In the corner of the room, there was an underarm crutch being left to lean against the wall. It held the appearance of a dark gray material, made out of steel, otherwise, there was no other else type of modification of it from the original crutch used by the patients of the hospital that had either of their legs crippled or removed, disabled from moving with one or the pair of its legs. His bare teeth had sharp fangs in each and every one of his every tooth, his tendency to fight changed his appearance during the past, but after being hauled out by the likes of Mana, he seems to hold an appearance of less.. 'anger', if you can describe it. His expressions seems less aggressive, never to hold any grudge with the people that he fought or any to care with what he went through after all of these shitstorms he went through mindlessly over a simple fact to fight Mana, with an ending of losing against the Demon Queen because of his blindness of his own rage.

His clothes were like that of a bartender's that came right out from the bar that served drinks to both men and women, seemingly fit very well to his body's size, it was not too big nor too small, giving him some average appearance of a male that only seems like a delinquent from the outside. Clearly, with all of these traits, the male figure was Sou Yuuki, also known as the Nightmare for his alias across the city for his great strength that surpasses the infinite scale itself. The reason why he ended up in the Karakura Hospital was under the fact that he was 'defeated' by Mana Asthavon because of his claim to retreat from the New York city, and the unstability of his Full Awakening through him out of his form because of the damage his mortalbody sustained, and what brought him here was currently unknown, but out with those, Sou didn't seem to care much from that day onwards upon his defeat against the Demon Queen, an appearance of a redeemed and changed man, he was no longer a person who runs with fist and anger anymore, there was no rage, no seriousness, all but pure sarcasm would be done because of his realization of the reality around him, turning him into a person that nobody can really know how he changed.

Well, given that he doesn't have any friends nor family running to him in his injured state, he highly doubt there would be any visitors for him to come by considering his status as a bounty in this city for his infamous rampage across the city and demolishing works throughout every possible buildings when he can move across. It was tough for him and ultimately, he deserves a great prize to rest in this god-forsaken hospital wihout the need of any authorities coming and nab his injured state in order to lock him out of trouble. In his process of healing in this place, he could take his time chilling here all day but hopefully, trouble doesn't ensue too much in the city as well because things are going to get serious if someone is trying to be a villain in this city again. Troublesome bastards to him, but Sou wouldn't underestimate them either with all these lessons learnt after his defeat, it would become the most scariest thing you can point ahold of even with his sarcastic tone going through.

"What a day.."

Reaching out to the book on his right, opening the pages in the middle of the book where he last left off after reading last night, his eyes was fixated to the book that he began reading, with the breeze of air conditioner from the room he is in and the high doubts he has for visitors, he didn't care too much about it and decided to read his way through the entire day. He wasn't tired nor does he feel like moving as well, its just that he doesn't expect visitors coming right in from the door. Either way, it may be another boring day to 'enjoy' himself in such a peaceful room, no sirens or explosions, just peace. Not his style of 'peace' but it was better than punching his way through in his current state.

The Beginning Of The Light [OPEN] Empty Re: The Beginning Of The Light [OPEN]

Artist: Railgun S OST - Song: Ketsui to kakugo - Word Count: 1645
So public enemy number one has decided to land in the den of the lions, eh? This was all but a perfect chance to finally ambush and put an end to The Nightmare's unchecked rampage once and for all. There were reports throughout Karakura Central that he had been transported to Karakura City Hospital following his retreat from a monstrous battle with Mana Asthavon. It was reported with great detail and interest through both Japan, America and other major nations throughout the planet. It was the first time in quite awhile that someone on Earth had the nerve to attack one of the fortresses the demons of the world had called their own. Henceforth, The Beast of Karakura felt some inkling of respect for taking on a battle, that by The Yuudeshi Network's, he hadn't a clear snowballs chance in hell of winning.

Nevertheless, with one of the most wanted men in Karakura Central being in such a fragile and weakened state, it was obvious to most that he was going to get some form of visitor knocking on his door. Rather it be from the Japanese Government, Agents of The Yayjuu, Soldiers from The Vanguard or a group of bandit Yuudeshi members themselves; someone was knocking on the door of Sou Yuuki's abode -- and this person knew him all too well. This was the man who put Sou Yuuki down this path of destructive, mayhem and battle; the man who made him the fugitive he is today: Shadin Yuudeshi. Yes, the unofficial Ruler of Karakura Central was planning to be the first visitor to The Nightmare's recovery out of anyone else to drop him a line or a call.

Therefore, with The Yuudeshi Clan leader heading towards Sou's way, he already issued for that entire hospital to be locked down. But, what was strange about this order -- not a single ounce of manpower was needed. Operating on a mental level throughout the inner workings of The Yuudeshi Network, Shadin had been busy constructing complex shields and barriers within the inner-workings of The Hospital in order to better secure it. Every ounce of this facility was engulfed within the energies of The Yuudeshi Network and made available to be wielded and controlled by Shadin as he saw fought. Due to The Nightmare being well known for his violent rampages, The Beast of Karakura wasn't taking the slightest of chances with him.

In case he happened to act out of line? The first priority on The Network's list was to protect the citizens in and around the hospital. Thus -- they'd all be shielded in the way of a barrier that reflected metaphysical and physical attacks away from them. Anything that had the slightest trace of spiritual influence or kinetic impact was going to be utterly and complete voided. In this way, they would have a fighting chance at making it through the initial impact of such an attack if he did decided to attack Shadin. More than that, however, the chances of him breaking out of there -- were quite low.

You see, Shadin was able to reinforce the barrier produced within Sou's room to prevent him from escaping. They were reinforced with enough spiritual energy from The Yuudeshi Network and Imaginary Comptuation's tuning to be equivalent to an Arrancar whom had a grand mastery of their hierro. So even with his berserker-esqe strength, it The Nightmare still needed quite the bit of power if he hoped to get past The Beast of Karakura. And thanks to the fact that Sou stayed the night in the hospital? This allowed his body to be analyzed, studied and its mechanics uploaded into The Yuudeshi Network and straight into Shadin's cyberbrain to do with as he pleased. His spiritual frequency, muscular strength, speed, stamina and defenses were included in this data report with the overall structure of his body otherworldly attributes. Thus, in the event Sou wanted to throwdown -- Shadin was more than ready.

Now with all the cards put into play, The Yuudeshi hoped that all the factors that were taken into consideration had put the general public out of danger. So, all that was left to do was take those first huge steps into the doors of Karakura Hospital and deal with his foe once and for all. There would not be a yeller, nor a holler or shout to settle this. Instead of covering the streets in blood, destruction and death -- The Beast was intending to be more civil about these matters. Taking time to think over the cataclysmic impact of Australia's war, the aftermath of that battle yielded Shadin to believe perhaps diplomacy should be used before force.

All throughout the past few decades he had used nothing but non-stop, lethal and overpowered force to stomp through any and every obstacle that brought itself before Shadin's feet. And just what has it gotten him? A disarrayed country in Australia, a crippled body and more stress than a mortal person should ever have to worry about. While it is true that not many measure up to his specific power out of the tens of billions of life forces that call Earth home, this gift has brought with it its fair share of curses and it was time for Shadin to close the door on it once and for all. So, in a way -- perhaps this was redemption for such violence; as Sou was another victim caught up in the way of The Beast's path.

Flashing back to memories of The Yayjuu, he'd even recall the many different dysfunctional children, adolescents and adults alike he took in under the premise of rehabilitating them. In fact, that was one of the main reasons he built The Yajyuu in first place: to give those with curses a place to call home and cultivate that curse into a gift that could help change themselves, the people around them or the planet at large. Somewhere along the way of his path to power Shadin felt that he lost sight of that well-meaning intent and let the homicidal-maniac within him take over and blind him to where he started to begin with. So as he made his way up those dark stairs with the sound of his cane echoing in toe, he'd envision that goal of his and hope that the Nightmare wasn't planning on making any stupid moves to make him regret this decision.

Scanning through the hospital records to keep track of the different check-in notices and patients that came into the hospital, the room number that Sou Yuuki resided in came into mind and he found himself one the sixth floor of the building. In room 609 is where Sou Yuuki would lay in wait and, for the luck of everyone around them, this entire floor was all but empty due to his infamous criminal nature. It was obvious that no regular servicemen were equipped to deal with him, so it was all in the hands of The Beast of Karakura to deal with it as he saw fit. So with his footsteps drawing nearer, the visitor of lifetime would barge through Sou's door and stare him down with an intent stare.

Those crimson eyes of Shadin locked on to the sight of The Nightmare reading his book and it seemed as if he wasn't in the usual aggressive demeanor. In that case, if he were to look away from his book, he'd find The Beast of Karakura standing but a few feet ahead of him. He wore nothing but a pair of black boots, grey colored jeans and a striped shirt with white and grey horizontal stripes. Leaning on the modernized-cane of Heaven's Walker, Shadin figured he'd break the silence and rubbed his silver hued hair as a soft sigh escaped his pale-skinned lips. "Look here," Tapping the black electrode-like collar around his neck, the wires heading into Shadin's skull seemed to come to life with an electric burst as he aimed to let off his uneasiness with this meeting.

"I am not here to play games, fight or have a shouting match. I am here to get to the bottom of things and determine why you are so compelled beyond all logic to continue down the road you've gone." Taking a seat in a grey chair sitting directional in front of Sou, the only hint of power that was given was through Project Accelerator's electric glow. Putting Heaven's Walker on the ground between his legs in a firm manner, he placed each of his hands upon it's edges and exhaled with a heavy sense of grief beyond it. "And it's rather fitting we have a talk here. It's the place where I first heard of your ridiculous actions taking place. It is where it all begins...and where it all ends." Never missing a single blink, Shadin observed Sou like a hawk and was ready to deal with even the slightest bit of aggressive action on his hand in case this turned into yet another warzone.

"So tell me: what is your problem? The writing is on the wall and I want to know your story. Give me all that I need to know or I will not hesitate to send you into a prison where the light of day is nay but impossible to reach." Although his threat was gruff, there wasn't the sign of usual cockiness or confident banter in the tone of his voice. It was serious, gruff and down to the point of things. A no-sense kind of voice that wanted to sort this whole ordeal out like two grown adults should. Which is why the last words out of The Beast's mouth were these:

"Now let us settle this like men and not like bickering children, Sou."

The Beginning Of The Light [OPEN] Empty Re: The Beginning Of The Light [OPEN]

Artist: Iuchi Maiko - Song: Tatta hitotsu no houhou - Word Count: 1233

With his hopes that was taken too high that he would be left wihout any visitors coming by to him, especially with the authorities coming from different organizations, given with a fact that he was a huge bounty and would be rewarded handsomely upon his capture, this was something that is common for people to come for him in order to arrest him, and with his currently injured state, it was highly doubtful that people won't rush towards him and try to 'talk it out' sort of reasons, and someone made that step of 'conversation' to sort things that cannot be undone, and that man that came, was clearly Shadin Yuudeshi, the man he both despises the most and admires the most, with issues to understand which sides of that man he should pick but there was no point trying to go any further than this.

Gently placing his book away, his attention was drawn the moment the door slid open with the incoming footsteps wihout the mention of the word 'look' at all, and his expression was nonetheless, unamused and indeed, was not pleased with such facts for a man like him to come and visit him, and even going as far as sealing off the entire place through taking the advantage of his injured state, what a mockery was this, to be staying in this hospital and get cornered to the dead end. Even if he were to resort violence, he doubt that he could last long with his damaged body after taking blow by blow right to his mortal body, he wouldn't be surprised for his body to regenerate these wounds in such a slow pace and people taking advantage of it when he was admitted here.

Feeling like a caged bird with all the security measures he took, Sou was undoubtfully uncomfortable with this sort of situation, and the only sound that occupies the space of this room was Shadin's voice, his own's and the breeze of the air conditioner. Well, with the silence of the hospital running and the radiation that the barriers he made to lock him inside of his own patient room, he wouldn't be more than aware of what happened around him. To not stir up trouble, Sou laid down towards the bed and threw his book aside, with an annoyed expression that was written clearly across his face and eyes locked away from facing directly at Shadin, only to speak in a disrespectful manner wihout any hesitations nor a second thought about it, a tone of anger but does not hint any possible violence that may occur, because with his current state, he doubts himself that his body can last with those injuries to his mortal body.

"And? What do you want? Are you here to kill me, to arrest me, to hold me down or trying to talk the sense out of me? Sorry to dissapoint you but i do not care to listen to the 'Hero' of Karakura City and the one who turned me into such crippled state, not to mention to go as far as locking me into this hospital with all the barrier you placed up, i do see that a 'hero' like you do deserve some type of reward or something with your actions to threaten me into outright throwing me into a prison."

Making a relaxed statements behind his words, there was a small hint of sarcasticness in his words but he said these words right out of his mind and they were serious. No more games, no more intimidations, just full on words to hit him with. Sighing with dissapointment, his sentence would only continue further on with his expression continued to be annoyed and holding the same tone.

"Sounds like you're going to lecture me as if you're my teacher. But let me tell you what: I chose this blood-stainted path and decided to become a villain who can't even protect cliche, that's how i view things in the past. I am already dead on the inside, and the decisions were already made. People are already dead and i can't bring them back to life. If this was how it is going to be, then i do not hold much of a care anymore. I am not sure what was i doing in the first place, based on natural instincts, well, there won't be any help to bother explaining as well, because what's done cannot be undone."

Chuckling at himself with those very words, it brings back the thoughts when he was once the mindless man who fought blindly over the fact of getting more power, to prove that humans wihout power can win as well. In the end of all of these, until now, Sou does not have an inch of realization what he was fighting for, giving that he has no family, no friends, no one for him to enjoy his time with, all but a hallucination with only death and his enemies await before his door. Becoming the wanted man in Karakura City was never easy, to a countless journey of fighting for his own life, those were the best enjoyments he can get until it made some changes to him upon his defeat. Even if he knew that the purpose of his life was to protect the one dearest to him, it was all but a foolish dream for a man that has nothing to protect and played the role of the villain until the end of his own life. His tone began to become more serious, with a hint of his sarcastic personality, those were the only words he could think of to tell Shadin about, as he has no interest to comply nor to listen to his reasonings of how to live his own life, he won't be getting into the prison too early.

"Well, Mister 'Hero', the only thing is that you're attempting to save something, or someone right before you that has went too deep down into the bottomless pit. All i could choose was this one path full of blood and corpses, the souls and the bodies of the one that i've killed over the years, and you were far too late to drag me out of the darkness. I'd ask to you to take down the barrier and leave, because i can tell you that what you're attempting is too late and you can't save the one right before you. Do not worry, i hold no grudges against you, and i'll make sure i won't haul your city into a wasteland from here on. There is no story to tell you, because there was never one from the beginning."

Everything went down into silence after those words that he spoke, that his eyes were dead and cold, before completely facing his body right to the other side and away from Shadin's direction, leaving only a casual expression wihout pursuing any violence and for Sou, it would be more preferrable to stay here and mend his own wounds, rather for their 'grudges' and 'enemyship' to end here. Going through things at his own way, it would be the best if there was no struggle or violence to occur, because there was never a single person who likes getting forced to do something that they dislike, especially being threatened to send into jail if he does not cooperate. Well then, he'll see how things goes.

The Beginning Of The Light [OPEN] Empty Re: The Beginning Of The Light [OPEN]

Wed Jul 16, 2014 9:53 pm

Artist: Royksopp - Song: The Fear - Word Count: 1334
Well, this was going about as swimmingly as one could imagine. The first series of words that came out of the mouth of The Nightmare were very asinine and overall full of himself. Did he not forget that he was responsible for his own fate? With the raise of a questionable eyebrow on the part of Shadin, it was common sense in his mind that the choices he made decided to act out brought him to be one of the most wanted criminals in Karakura Central. Therefore, he decided he was going to give him a piece of his mind before he decided to keep going onward with his self-righteous speech. "Can you please spare me the cliches of heroes and villains? We live in the real world, Sou, and not everything is so black and white." In one gentle tap, there would not be a sense of malicious intent, but The Beast of Karakura did move towards slapping the face of Sou in order to get him to snap back into reality and stop talking out of his delusions.

"You obviously do not understand that the decisions you decided to take on that day were what made you a target to begin with. I'm sorry, "Mr.Villian", but I don't have a single shred of patience for someone attempting to the play victim. So save the sarcasm for someone who has more tolerance than myself." Taking a hard sigh to express his frustration at this dilemma, he'd lean back into his chair and rub his temples at the predicament he was placed in thus far. It was in this moment of self-reflection that he considered maybe allowing him this chance to speak was perhaps an ill-wise move. Perhaps the man was beyond saving, but it couldn't hurt to at least try to clear his own minds doubts. So, along those lines of thinking, he'd press forward with the conversation.

"Besides, I'm not so easily sold that you won't take the opportunity to jump out the window, or rather, smash out the wall and start tearing up everything in sight." Snapping his fingers in that moment, visual displays of Sou Yuuki's previous rampages started to play in front of him in the form of holographic imagery. They showed his constant barrage of aggressive assaults in the form of excess public destruction, non-stop brawls and his overall homicidal attitude in the way he conducted himself. "You are still considered a dangerous felon in the rankings of Karakura Central and I will take these measurements down when I can trust your word." Sounding straight and to the point with his matter-of-fact tone of speaking, Shadin leaned forward on his cane and listened to the male continued on after he finished explaining his justification for imprisoning him like this.

However, indulging in this exchange of words seemed to only agitate The Beast further with the story that was presented to him. It was if the teenager was stuck in his own tragic story and couldn't see the world for what it truly was. Spouting things like himself being a villain, being unable to move from his dark past and spouting that he was dead inside only made The Yuudeshi further annoyed by this self-defeating attitude. For someone who spoke such hot and overzealous words, the intent of this males actions seemed to reflect quite the opposite and he was going to address that.

"Man, for someone so ready to pile drive someones ass into the ground at the drop of a hat, you seem like quite the wuss." These words were not meant to be insulting, but rather, a feel for what Shadin started to view Sou as. His eyes remained on Sou, voice hardened and facial expression quite neutral in the form of a blank look. "Here I've always wondered what it would be like to get into the mind of the one dubbed "The Nightmare". And all you have to say to me is that you are nothing more than a quitter? How disappointing..." Taking a soft sigh to express his let-down, The Yuudeshi was quite confused to why he was chuckling to himself. Was he really that proud of himself? Could he honestly be happy with letting life beat him into a corner? It didn't make any sort of sense at this point to Shadin.

"From all I've heard and seen of you, I never would have pegged you as a coward."

Letting that sentence stand on its own merit, the judgement he had on this male was becoming all to clear from the excuses he gave him. The statement that he had received from Sou about not desiring to destroy the city seemed to be genuine judging from his heartbeat, body language and tone of voice; but he just wasn't satisfied with the answer he was given. "As only a coward would make up these sorts of half-assed justifications for not taking the step forward to fix and mend their life."

Now stomping his cane on the floor out of anger, Shadin sucked on his teeth and gave a "tch" sound out of his mouth as he shook his head out of distaste for Sou's attitude. "Do you think you are the only special snowflake in the world who has killed somebody? Are you seriously under the assumption that you are the only spirit to fall prey to dark thoughts and actions? Give me a fucking break, kid." Going on to smack Sou once more, he didn't aim to cause him any sort of significant damage, but this guy needed a wake-up call of some kind, and by the grace of god, was Shadin going to give him one.

"Wake up! Are you too scared to move on with your life that you are petrified and paralyzed with terror to progress? You have an opportunity to do something exceptional and make amends for the wrongs you've done in your time on Earth." Growing more filled with displeasure in the tone of his gruff voice, Shadin tried to grab Sou by his collar and slam against the wall as he got up close and personal with the male to view him face to face. "Are you really so caught up in your sob story that you can't see what you have right in front of you? The people you killed are lost, but those are the choices you have to live with. That doesn't mean acting like a child and sealing yourself off from the world. That means taking accountability for them, not wasting the blood spilled in their name by acting like such a spoiled BRAT and moving on with your life."

Dropping him at this point, it didn't matter what actions Sou took at this point, Shadin would gather his senses, let loose another sigh and then scowl at him in disgust for the sorry man he saw in front of him. "You do the dead more injustice by having them be slain by a man who is too broken and pathetic to fix his path than not allowing yourself to redeem your sins and become something greater. So I thought the least you could do is put your own angst aside just this once and really think about your predicament. Refusing to accept that the dead are dead isn't noble, nor is it based on the false fact that it is far too late for you to be helped; but rather, it is the actions of a coward too scared live on for the people he has killed. "

Once finished with his heated words, Shadin pointed at Sou's chest and decided to ask him one final question:

"So tell me, are you a brave enough man to actually step up to the plate and do SOME type of justice for those that you have killed, or you just going to keep running away from that fact like a frightened child and accept things as the way they are?"

The Beginning Of The Light [OPEN] Empty Re: The Beginning Of The Light [OPEN]

Artist: Iuchi Maiko - Song: Cruel Reality - Word Count: 1459

It was seemingly taken up to a more dramatic level, where senseless talks that won't budge the head of the Nightmare with all the good talk between the Beast and the Nightmare themselves. Sou acknowledges the fact clearly that he was the root of his current situation, being apart of the cause that made him the fugitive he currently is right now, giving him a rather infamous appearance among many people around him, and even though he understood the situation he was getting himself into, it never stopped him from staying in this city as the 'villain' of this city, attracting countless of attention against the officials and making him a bounty that every man and woman wanted his head for, that is, money. Choices could not be reversed, that is indeed true, and will always be even in the world of reality or black and white, what's dead is dead, and bringing them back to life would only throw him deeper into guilt, that never ends no matter how far he walks down the path.

What made a clear resistance was stopping the entirety attempt of slapping him, with a strong grip against the arm of the Beast, his glare made a sharp stare right at him, wihout any signs of aggressiveness or the need of unleashing violence, the grip was only done to make clear of a single statement released from his mouth, that held nothing than a short frame of annoyance behind these words. "Watch what you're trying to do."

Making a short push against Shadin's arm to shove his hand away from an attempt to slap him across the cheek, it became clear that there was no way in hell that Sou would take his sweet time in listening what he was about to say, living in his own nature and the fight for survival, he would not care even the slightest no matter how much it made to talk him out of his head, just like speaking to a concrete wall with no apparent emotion, he was just like a statue that could not even flinch a single movement to his soul, not even once with his dead eyes that was as deep as the darkness itself. Speaking further against Shadin's so-called 'advices', his eyes made a short glance to Shadin before out to the window, only with a smirk across his lips that made things more obvious and harsh in its own way. "Oh please, cut me some slack and save that sugarcoated words of yours to your family or comrades."

His words may sound like it may never make sense in an edge where it would be a world where the Beast never stood on, but as darkness began to envelope across his great heart of a mortal, his statement became much deeper, for a less tolerant person like Shadin, if he would not want any sort of sarcasm to hit against his tolerance, then he would strike him with full honesty, no games or tricks, a front head to hit him back with a clear and honest statement. "Call me a coward, a kid, a quitter, whatever you feel like you're pissed at a point of disliking the way i act and do things, but this is the way i lead my life and this is the judgement that i made. Fix and mend my life is easier to be said than done, but i heard that from more than a million men combined by what you're meaning by that. Yeah yeah, stand when you fall, roar through against those are above you, never give up and fix the mistakes that you made in life, but let me tell you this: I've done that more than you can count with the total number of lives you have, and trying to 'fix' this so-called life of mine would only make it worse. It may sound like a bitch of an excuse to you, but hell, i fixed it wihout complaining in a single form of word and the results became a living hell to me."

"You scribble me down like some student who just 'went the wrong way' and 'too scared of life' category, but i lead my life the way that i feel like its right. Yes, you may be right that i am just making excuses about my own pathetic ass with the situation that i put myself in because of my own actions; BUT DON'T ORDER ME AROUND LIKE YOU'RE MY PARENT JUST BECAUSE YOU ONCE STOOD AND WORN MY SHOES BEFORE BECAUSE IT ISN'T GOING TO BE NICE TO KNOW HOW DARK IT GETS THE MORE YOU TELL ME TO 'MOVE FOWARD' WITH MY LIFE, SHITHEAD."

Indeed, he was rather angry against Shadin's statements over what he thinks its just an excuse to escape reality, but what he stated was nothing but a true fact, that it has been countless of times that he tried to mend his mistakes, doing what's right in order to redeem the lives he took and had lost by the two bloody hands he had, but it was clear that it was done many times, only to have more lives lost because of his personality, and the dark future where he may become the one who would take even more lives, not just one or two, but more than just a few, and to prevent so, he halted his movements in life, only to do things equally good and equally bad, further describing himself being a 'villain' because of his pathetic emotions that took over him. With another smacking incoming, he didn't make another attempt to stop, or rather, let it be to have a mark to his cheek to have this man vent his frustration about his excuses. Being picked up against his collar and slammed right against the rough concrete wall behind him by Shadin, his expression held nothing but an annoyed expression, with his eyes looking directly against Shadin's took further his statement against him.

"I am no special someone. Besides, trying to wake me up from this endless pit of darkness won't work at all, as i had told you earlier, if you tried to save me, you would've done so earlier than stepping onto the mine in such a late time, Mister Hero. Tell me then, describe me the feeling of trying to redeem your sins and become apart of you said, justice, more than an infinite amount of times, and only end up to something much darker, so dark that it blinds you and taking away the 'justice' you meant to tell me to do so. I've pulled myself together more than your sorry pale ass could, but it won't change a thing, that it would only become worse the more i try to do 'justice' and 'fix myself and move foward'. If i was sane, i wouldn't go out there and risk my life trying to fight some people who could kill me with a single slash."

Dropped against the ground, the Nightmare was indeed pathetic, only to be pointed at his chest when Shadin cooled down. The silence was only for a moment to reach to his crutch and pulled himself back up, rather than lying back to the bed, his back was standing straight, his pair of blood red eyes made its stance into glaring at Shadin with a grin onto his face, all but pure happiness residing in his soul, to only make a final reply to his question, even after all the talk, it did beat him into a little sense but not all, but Sou decided to back him up a little with an honest reply wihout a hinch of lie. "But, what you're trying to tell me does make a little sense to me, of course. I am not brave or as tough as you think i am, but let me tell you what; as a villain with my own standards, i'll be sure to let you know that i am not the type who won't do justice, even if i have nothing to protect right before me, you'll be damned that i fight on my own style. Whether you believe my words or not, i don't really care if you think i would just jump out of the window and run rampage to kill people, besides, i am not in a state or a mood where i feel like doing anything. I am no longer the one in past, because the person you're currently talking to is in the present, and there is no change in that. I may be dwelling too much emotions about my own past, but no matter how broken i am, my will won't break so easily as you think it would."

The Beginning Of The Light [OPEN] Empty Re: The Beginning Of The Light [OPEN]

Artist: Shiro Sagisu - Song: Quiproquo 140 (piano) - Word Count: 2173

Sigh. What a stubborn child.

That was the first train of thought that seeped into The Beast of Karakura's head as he listened to all of the asinine replies of the crimson haired male before him. As his hand was pushed back, all he could do was begin to rub the temples of his head as perhaps this was nothing but a mistake. There was almost no working with this -- child -- because he was so caught up in himself that he couldn't see the reactions and consequences that his actions had in the world around him.

Pulling up a report of his incident in India through his cybernetic brain, he'd shake his head and come to realize the grim numbers of those who died by the hands of Sou Yuuki's -- foolishness. Perhaps he was too idealistic and naive to believe that this method of working with the fugitive had a chance in hell in succeeding. So with a heartfelt sigh, he'd feel a slight pang of remorse and regret for the upcoming actions he was now forced to commit due to the responses The Nightmare gave him.

He just thought that maybe, just maybe, for once he wouldn't have to use violence as a means to accomplish something and help another lost soul out. With the reflections of what he built The Yayjuu on, and the conflict of Australia still roaring in his mind, The Yuudeshi just wanted to resolve a conflict without needing force. It caused so much grief when he so recklessly charged into battle. Not only to those around him, and the world at large, but even within the waves of balance within his own soul.

The malicious intent to be the strongest, to maul down every foe who he came across and to stomp on those who dared opposed him with the might of "The Mind Of God" had blinded him so many times before in the past. It almost -- scared him -- thinking back on the progress he made while guided by his Yuudeshi Drive. So out of love for his former self, he wanted to try a different approach with "The Nightmare". Just to see, if possibly, the way of diplomacy and kindness could work.

Ah, but then again, was he just protecting his own desires and intentions out on the killer before him? Oh well. There was no use in dragging this out anymore. With a deadened expression creeping into his face, The Yuudeshi knew what he had to do and no amount of introspection could delay the inevitable anymore.

"Fine. You win this. If you want to remain in that rut, I won't try to reason with you anymore. I just wanted to believe that for once something in this world could be achieved without the need for force or any further pain. I don't know, perhaps I'm turning into a sappy chump after what I did in Australia, and maybe I don't have room to say this for the grief I've caused in this world, but I honestly wanted to have hope that we could resolve this issue like men."

Voice sounding somber, there were hints of sadness and anger behind the words of Shadin as he gritted his teeth behind every sentence. Clenching on to Heaven's Walker, The Yuudeshi closed his eyes and then took deep breath to ease his rattled nerves and compose his mind for the task ahead of him. This was one of the most wanted and dangerous fugitives on the planet -- he needed to be on his guard and focused.

"But I guess "The Mind of God" was wrong."

With that said, Shadin held out his right hand and proceeded to have an "X" shaped gathering of light emerge from Sou's stomach. Why was this happening? Given that he was under the influence of Karakura Central itself, and The Beast of Karakura, The Yuudeshi's presence lived on within him. Ever since the conflict in Australia so many months ago, spanning from the moment that the atomic blast that The Beast of Karakura shot off at The Nightmare, there had been trace amounts of Shadin's spiritual particles and nanomachines taking root within his body.

They had attached themselves to the core of his shell, even going as far as to embed themselves within his soul to endure the constant shedding of his body from fights against titanic opponents such as Mana Asthavon and Nozomi , The First Quincy. Recording, watching, observing and becoming stronger; these remains of Shadin's influence within Sou had more than enough data to calculate what was needed to make this man neutralized and put out of commission.

His weakness? It was quite simple: the soul. Without that body of his, The Nightmare would be nothing more than a furious child without the toy he calls his "Unlimited Strength" to cause havoc on the world. After all, as impressive as his decimating levels of power were, he was still, at the end of the day, human. Therefore, he still had a soul to be reaped. And with this knowledge, the removal his spirit from this vessel would render him powerless.

Much like removing a parasite from a body, with Sou's crippled and beaten down state, Shadin had more than ample opportunity and ability to eject Sou's very spirit from his human body. Through the prowess of Imaginary Computation, The Beast of Karakura had the proficiency of skill with his trademark ability to cut the boundaries between the attachment of Sou Yuuki and his human body. Even if he somehow managed to fight back against this effect, which given the circumstances, the chances were low, the tampering of this bond between the spirit and body could more than likely leave him paralyzed.

How so? Imagine having the nerves of your body in-tact one moment, and then, in the next, those nerves were disconnected, damaged and destroyed. Without a signal to manipulate, in this scenario, a person could be rendered nothing more than a vegetable. This is what Imaginary Computation was doing to his entire body. Given the chance the detachment of his soul did not work, the next viable option and step was this.

However, dealing with creatures like this, it was often best to have a backup for your back up plan. So while all of this was occurring, the brain of Sou Yuuki had been targeted as well. And understanding full well the effects of IEBN -- that device was surgically detached and removed from Sou's body. Therefore, with that extra nuisance out of the way while he was unconscious, The Beast of KArakura could perceivable be given more room to work with.

In the depths of Sou's head, Shadin utilized the nanomachines that were injected into him from the doctors of Karakura Hospital to begin outright destroying portions of his brain. Even if someone with supernatural, spiritual or even divine powers attempted to repair this? There was still a low chance of reversing these effects. This is due to the fact that this procedure was performed by Imaginary Computation and it was doing what it could to create deep-rooted wounds that would make even regeneration a complex effort. No matter if it could be achieve, the intent was to make it irresistible or to at least make Sou's brain incapable of returning back to its prime state.

Therefore, the first portion of his brain that was in his sights had been the the medulla. By tampering with and destroying portions of it, all involuntary functions of his body would cease to be or forever be complicated. Breathing, heart rate, blood pressure and all of Sou's known reflexes were meant to be broken.

From there, the pons that were above the medulla had been the next portion of his brain to assault. By eradicating this, or trying to anyway, the nuclei that control sleep, respiration, swallowing, bladder function, equilibrium, eye movement, facial expressions, and posture were meant to be disrepaired.

After that point, the cerebellum was next on the list to be dismantled. With the annihilation of that, Sou's motor control would be a thing of the past. The precision needed for a precise kick? Gone. In depth coordination? History. Cognitive functions such as attention and language? Goodbye. Piece by piece, Shadin wanted to keep going down the route of disassembling The Nightmare and tearing apart Sou's mind.

With this critical portion of his brain attacked, the depths of this injury were the most critical by far. His photographic memory? No more. Calculation and computation? Destroyed. The ability to comprehend logic and reason? Erased.

Reaching this gateway of the surgery, the world would be a black and void place for Sou Yuuki. Nerves all throughout his body were turned to sunder, visual senses were meant to be rendered obsolete and all of his senses, for the most part, were intended to be ripped out entirely. All that ever compromised Sou, all that ever was Sou and all the memories that made Sou who he was -- were meant to be decimated and turned into ash in the wind.

In this way, when he transitioned into the body of a Plus, he'd be entirely reborn. His powers would be no more, his mind would be no more and the rebirthing process would start anew as a fresh slate for this monstrous killer. This was the way it had to be -- there were no more other options to be considered on the table.

Through usage of the DES Choker now being strapped to his neck, all of his supernatural powers could be compressed enough to make him more than unable to fight back. There was a eighty percent chance of it by the estimates of The Yuudeshi Network. They had every scarp of information on his body at this point. Even if he were to try and counter? They'd outmatch the speed in which Sou could hope to think and counter him. The moment he'd make a move, they would to and block out his attempts to resistance to the best of their ability.

They went to go and rot out his muscles, bring them to a decay and make them cease to be. No. He wasn't trying to manipulate or control Sou, he was just deconstructing him at this point. Removing the usefulness of his body bit by bit until there was nothing more than a hollow shell of the man and being he once was.

"..."

There was a darkness that covered Shadin's eyes as he witnessed this process take place. He didn't want things to be this way. Why could the male have not just listened? Was it so hard to accept the embrace of another? To receive help in this hell they call life? Had the pain of accepting the companionship of another been that terrible for him?

In the roaring clap of a strike of thunder, the once sunny skies had darkened and dull as rain started pouring down like an unending torrential vortex. Perhaps the heavens were weeping for him, this foolish man so stuck in his destructive ways. Even if he could get pass all that, there was no way that The Beast of Karakura, nor the resources he had at his disposal, was letting Sou out the way he entered. This was a one way road now, the road he travelled on all his life. So the only options for The Nightmare now was to be imprisoned, turned into a powerless cripple, reborn anew as a plus or die. There was no more room for compromise, no more space for compassion and no more room for humanity.

"This is the end of the road, Sou. I've finally bought what you've been selling and I will grant you your deathwish. It all started with me and it will conclude with me. If you wish to atone for your sins, then stand there and die. Reflect on the lives you've torn apart, take anguish for the lonely life you live and just die with a whimper. You started out with a bang, but I will make sure the finale ends with a whimper. These fangs of mine will finally put the animal in you down."

With that said, the dimensions of the hospital room they were in? They no longer became bound by the space of the earthly plane and they were taking into a sub-dimension within Karakura: The Imaginary District. Here? There was almost no chance for escape. It was a realm entirely under the control of The Yuudeshi Network and Shadin himself. In this void space, he'd do what he can to put the nightmare that was Sou Yuuki down -- once and for all.

"The road of life ends here for you. You tied the noose around your neck and accepted the embrace of death. I only hope, that whatever comes next, you'll find peace in the afterlife and come back as a better man."

"Goodbye, Sou Yuuki. And Goodnight."

ARE WE STILL DOING THIS?

CHECKING THIS THREAD

TO GET THROUGH MY THREADS

Well, I am gonna assume that this was a hard thing for Cookies to do. Therefore, I feel well enough to conclude the thread here. It can be implied that the body of Sou was handled by Shadin Yuudeshi after his death and buried at an undisclosed, but secure location within Karakura Central. Thus, I am gonna lock the thread. If there is a problem with this turn of events, then just post it in my communication thread.
