The sounds of explosions, gunfire, swords clashing and screaming rang all throughout the Seireitei as there was an unknown invasion taking place. Nobody knew the exact details taking place, but it seemed that a few others were already making moves inside and outside of the Seireitei. With alarms blaring all throughout the second district of the Seireitei, the time for battle would soon be coming. There was a colossal army coming from unknown origin and it would be up to the Thirteen Court Squads to defend itself against this threat. Thus, to that call, The Captain of Division Eleven would answer that call. Already having her subordinates evacuate a large deal of the nobel's into an underground structure, Ibiki requested that she be given a large deal of room in order to have a good fight. Anyone who decided to fight alongside her in this massive effort to protect the first district should be ready for one heck of a wild-ride. After all, she wasn't referred to as "The Menacing Devil" simply for show.
Standing firm and dead in the center of everything, The Oni Girl was all but prepared for this showdown. As the first wave of forces started coming in by the hundreds of thousands, the adrenaline within Miss Sukia was all but coming to a boil. Her heartbeat was racing, lips salivating and anticipation growing. The numbers were hugely against her favor, but that just meant she could fight with more brazen efforts. As through all of the spiritual pressure that she could detect? There was at least a good eight million spirits preparing to clamp down on this entire area. Once that number was confirmed, there was a strong pulsation of spiritual energy generating from out of The Zaraki Corps leader. Coming in the form of flames, this indigo reiatsu was like a burning fire that reflected the inner flame within Ibiki's soul that was ready to take on this profound challenge.
And like a crushing tidal wave of power, the collective hive of energy combined from these aggressors weighed down on the area like an unforgiving weight. It deafened the second district like an overwhelming sonic boom; shaking the very earth as one would mistake this initial invasion for a high-profile earthquake. Yet, as the earth around the shinigami's feet began to buckle, The Devil Girl would stand still in her tracks. This would be her stand, in this place and at this moment to prove once again that Squad Eleven was indeed the brawns of the Thirteen Court Squads So as a few dozen of it's bravest Shinigami dared to stand alongside their Captain, Ibiki was utterly ecstatic to quite possibly cement her goal of paving out the revamping of her squadron and the ironing out of the Gotei 13's future into a more stable world for all.
Henceforth, with her finger on the trigger, The Oni Girl took off like a bat out of hell as she left a trail of purple flames in her wake; the yelling of her followers soon taking place as they scattered for many miles out to deal with some of the lesser threats. Already having a note for insane speed through her escapades in the Australian Conflict, Ibiki sought to scatter her punches throughout a wide area in a quick amount of time. Therefore, she shifted her spiritual energy to her hands and feet; lessening the defenses down the center of her body, but absurdly bolstering the offensive and defensive capacities across her limbs. This chain reaction caused the flaming aura from her spiritual energy to become extremely potent across her fist and ankles as a blazing white inferno could be seen bursting to life across them as she made her dash to take this army on.
Being that she has activated a state of shunpo at this point, Ibiki was able to cover a vast range of opponents within the first mile of the frontal squadron of invaders. Deciding now to try out a new technique The Oni Girl was going to unveil something known as "Senka Burst". It is considered a weaker form of Senka to Ibiki because instead of focusing on a singular target -- it aims to take out mass-hordes of individuals. Akin to the Arrancar's bala, Senka Burst operated on the principle of producing a weaker attack, but covering a larger area in a faster time. So being that most of the opposition were grunts thus far, a weaker seal could be created at a much faster rate thanks to Ibiki's own speed and spiritual energy to work to enhance that movement even further.
So by combining it with her Hakura, Ibiki had developed a pathway for it to be activated simultaneously across all of her appendages at this point. All that was required was additional spiritual energy for the number of seals she was going to use, the intense work of her physical muscles for the speed and an extra oomph of reishi for her blows. And thus, as she blazed through the daunting wave of demon's, hollow's and menacing SHinigami alike; she'd be able to deliver tens of thousands of punches within a rapid period time as she maneuvered her way throughout the battlefield. Letting out a constant series of "ha's" throughout this inflation of enemy forces, Ibiki was going at it like a mad woman. She was cranking her muscles, moving her legs as fast as they would take her and putting some immense focus within the range of her punches.
In a matter of two minutes? Ibiki had already taken out a full million of their forces; disabling a half million of them per minute. In a mile stretch of area, there were nothing but collapsed bodies. Some had died, others were barely clinging to life and some were just plain knocked out or critically injured. To which, those left standing would be dealt with by her squad members and taken out swiftly. In this way, by constantly destroying their soul chains, it was almost like childs play to The Menacing Devil Girl as they had barely any means of stopping her assaults. Throughout this assault she had dodged numerous energy blast, a constant barrage of non-stop punches and even a few bombs thrown at her. And while she felt herself getting caught up in some of the debris; feeling a few burns and cuts on her backside, it was nothing that was going to her. Most of the invaders weren't even suitable enough to call opponents; so it was good for them they had numbers on their sides as Ibiki took a quick breather to let her muscles relax.
Wiping the sweat away from her face after that "warm-up", Ibiki started to have hundreds of thousands of fist generate in the form of chains from her Zanpakutō's steel. As deep purple veins started appearing across her eyes, Ibiki would do something bold: she would apply the same technique known as Senka Burst to all of those metallic fist produced her Zanpakutō. This was shown by the fact that all of these series of iron bonds had became engulfed within a similar burst of indigo and silver fire as Ibiki's arms and legs. The plan here was simple: all of these fist had a one time usage and Ibiki had to make sure they hit. So, along those lines, Ibiki synchronized herself together with her inner-Zanpakutō spirit, Oni-Kyosei.
Through harmonizing all of her senses with her Zanpakutō Spirit, Ibiki could generate a projected heat-path of spiritual energy against the incoming targets. And being that there were another 1.5 million combatants heading her way? This was going to be something insane on her end. Investing more of her spiritual energy into these chains, Ibiki invoked "Rapid Senka". By engraving the seals needed to cut off a person's chain of power within a physical portion of her Zanpakutō, Ibiki could cover an absurd distance of striking power through this. So with another screaming"HA", these hundreds of thousands of chained clashed against enemy forces; raining down like an almost endless torrent of pain.
Swords meshed against these fist, others were brought down on first strike; while others outright obliterated them with energized attacks. Through this collision of iron and flesh, Ibiki had an accuracy rate of seventy five percent. That is to say: she had taken out another 1.3 million targets and adding her total takeout count to roughly 2.3 million. The remaining twenty five percent from that wave were able to either deflect it, avoid it or outright endure it due to the difference in strength. As The Menacing Devil Girl knew: these people were growing stronger with each wave.
Yet, that still did not steer her away from this challenge. It was yet another task that she needed to meet head on and would endure to the very bloody end. Watching her squadmates deal with the remaining three hundred thousand from that assault, The Zaraki Leader would leave them to do what they needed in order to deal with those last remaining threats as they engaged in hard combat. What she was more concerned with was the surge of enemy combatants heading their way. So, to that effect, she'd begin having her spiritual energy rise once more and brace herself for the next assault. Hopefully, a third succession of Senka Burst would be able to wipe out this upcoming battalion of warriors. As there was a voice in the back of Ibiki's head telling her not to rely too heavily on this technique, but it certainly got the job in taking out a little over 1/4 of their fighting force.
So as the world shook, the earth turned to fire and the skies turned to ash; The Lone Shinigami would stand in the middle of this chaos with nothing but a crooked grin as she understood that the weight of Division Eleven's muscles was beginning to bare down on those who dared opposed the order of the Gotei Thirteen. That was her creed and she'd prove this through her fist. No fancy speech was needed to express this fact. From the way she looked into the eyes of her squadmates, they all internally knew what needed to be done as well and knew how strong their resolve was to fight and what it meant to be apart of The Zaraki Corps. Sure, they've got a bad rep outside of this division for being a bunch of crazed strength junkies; but with the time Ibiki has gotten to know them -- they've turned into something else. A real tag-team of menacing bastards in this battle together to the very end; fighting for the thrill of battle is what united them. Using this instinct to wage war for the betterment of the soul society was their handgame. And this union together is what made them a real rag tag team of crazy bastards.
