Artist: KKHTA - Song: MANA'S MANIC THEME - Word Count: 1715
It was a silent night within the slum of Naraka Sahara; otherwise known as Hell City in the Hindu language. Although the cursed metropolis was supposedly a bustling capital within the Chaya Nation, there appeared to be almost no one in the streets. The air was still, the citizens no where to be found and it was quite -- a bit too quiet almost. This city had been under the watchful eye of Shadow Fall for quite some time due to the threat of a dissent on the rise and so it would soon get a rude awakening to shatter this lull.

Like a bat out of the night, Mana Asthavon had arrived on the scene of the crime. Appearing in the northern district of Naraka Sahara, there was a sinister grin smeared across her face as she was more than ready to devour the many sorts of prey that lay below her feet. All of the city, for as far as she could see, was like one insatiable feast for her own element of Discord and Lunacy to devour. Yes --that hunger was growing to such a point that even the eyesight of The Demon Queen started to the edges of her vision become reddened. No longer could she hold back this craving, no more could see suppress; for all who dare to oppose her on this night were going straight to the belly of the beast and turned into a one course meal for The Royal Asthavon to sustain herself. The instabilities of her Danava-based abilities were going strong and The Demoness felt that this would be the perfect place to at least fulfil that urge.

If nothing else, her purpose for coming here was to have a justifiable time and place to invoke instability onto the world. Slaying those who dare raise up against her rule would be the perfect agenda for her to fight under to manage this element. And -- Well -- it did honestly tick off the fair lady that these insolent mortals would dare stage such a coup -- but that wasn't the core factor behind this. The crux for this emergence of The Demon Queen all laid within the vessel of chaos stored within her body. Flashing back to her memories of Madness City, she'd remember when that power was first unlocked and how it helped discover the origins of her forgotten past to make the future of her rule that much more certain. Though, Mana was uncertain one thing: at what cost was this power worth? Understanding that she was indeed the Demon Goddess known as Eris in a former life, she has felt this creature's influence beginning to steadily inject more of her element into The Asthavon's body through her subconsciousness. Of course Mana could stand to bear it, but for how long could her body and psyche withhold itself before this sense of self deteriorated and The Demon was killed from the inside out?

The answer to that question was certainly one Mana needed to figure out, but those defiant citizens of Naraka Sahara would not give her the chance to mull over that. Snapping back into reality, she'd soon realize that her jumbo-sized spiritual presence had all but alerted the radicals through her body reacting on it's own; unleashing a daunting pressure down on the city below her as the very earth started to rumble and quake in the presence of The Demon Queen. When this sensation was felt -- The Rebel Ravens had already understood their position was compromised and started their all out retaliation before The Mistress Of Madness would attack them first.

SHOOF, SHOOF. SHOOF, SHOOF. SHOOF, SHOOF. SHOOF, SHOOF.

All below The Manic Ruler did thousands of heavy artillery plasma cannons started to come out of the cities rooftops and streetways. These weapons were powered by ancient demon rune that possessed enough striking power to even make seasoned Captain Class Shinigami come stopping to their knees. Each of them shot off enough firepower to at least equal to an average-classed cero produced by a well trained Arrancar; while some rouge cannons were even capable of producing upwards of Gran Ray Cero-Esque blast and an even rarer lot were able to generate Cero Osucas-Like explosions. So to say that Mana had a welcoming committee was certainly an understatement as they shot thousands of these blast upwards to the heavens.

Yet, all of this would prove useless to The Lunatic Demon. Eyes gleaming a bright shade of gem green, Mana took off towards the core of the city; cackling like a wicked witch all the way down. At the rate of speed she came down and the power produced by The Queen's body, she almost shot down to the earth like a falling star her entire body became engulfed within a blindly bright emerald color. This caused all those on the ground to become frantic as they tried to focus their shots closer to that light. And while true, they were able to make some hits as deafening explosions rocked the metropolis to it's core -- Mana still kept falling like a true blitzkrieg.

KEKEKEKEKEKEKEKE---AHHHHHHHH-HOOOOOOOOOWL--UGGGGGGGGH-HAAAAAAAAAAA-EHEHEHEHEHEHEEHEHEHEHEHEHEEHEHEHEHEHEHE
The sounds of millions laughing, howling, screaming and moaning in all sorts of delight, pain and torment deafened the entire northern district as The Demented Diva's energy started to heighten in response to this threat. Scattering her influence throughout the depths of Hell City allowed her to feast off this destructive scene. All that was occurring now had been playing into the factor of her powers that granted The Demoness Of Madness to consume Discord itself as if it were water and enhance the attributes of her body. Well she could indeed feel the pain of taking these energized burst directly, it all but became silenced as her pain suppression started to come into play.

So, as a consequence of this, Mana wasn't deterred in the slightest. In fact -- the perceived notion of this pain only made her that much more thrilled to seek out what she sought to do. As the idea behind this nose dive into hell itself was to act as a meteorite. That's right: Mana intended to use herself like a comet and smash into the core of the Northern District like an unforgiving asteroid; seeking to destroy, consume and obliterate anything within it's ungodly impact. Playing the imagery of this bloodfest in her mind yielded a deafening screech from Mana's body. A screech that even out powered the howling that was the entrails of her Damned Armies echo's being heard throughout The City of Hades. And Ii was at that moment that the declaration of war was declared. Gathering all of her body's reiatsu to the front of The Mad Maiden's body caused the production of an extremely dense barrier to be forged to tear apart all of the remaining obstacles in her way. No blast seemed to be able to penetrate it's absurdly hardened layer and it turned The Queen into a one hit missile.
ffffffffffffffffwwwwwweeeeeewwwwww BOOOM!!!
That was all that could be heard for roughly the entire radius of Naraka Sahara as a whole city. A plum cloud of reddened dush soon raised into the metropolis's skyline as Mana had obliterated roughly ten miles of the city in that single shot blast. In the wake of her entry attack? Roughly eight hundred thousand people were presumed to be critically injured or outright killed right on the spot. Nothing but fiery rubbled remained as the city suffered it's first assault from the Shadow Fall and Asthavon Family invasion. There was uncontrolled inferno's in every direction, thousands of buildings had been reduced to pebbles, numerous bodies scattered all throughout the cities and a strange green mist was oozing into the core of the northern district as Mana started to feast on these souls.

Yes, the nightmare was beginning as blackened smoke was seen being emitted from the bodies of the dead. In a matter of moments after the explosion occurred, this smog had been directed back into Mana as she started to claim their souls and add them to her Undead Army within; furthering the instability of her mind as she let out a jovial laugh to the gleaming white moon through all of this. Standing in a pit of green flames, she gazed upwards towards the glistening celestial sphere of the heaven's and felt the lunacy beginning to overtake her. Reacting quite rashly to this sensation overwhelming The Mad Queen's body? A pulsating heartbeat could be felt and heard throughout the depths of the burning city.

Once finished letting out a satisfying moan of pleasure, this quiver of power would result in a hundreds of tendrils being forged that were engulfed by a emerald hued fire; coming straight out of Mana's back like a non-stop freight-train into tendrilville. Groans of anguish were heard and then the mouths of the blazing appendages started to open across all sides; having rows of razor sharp teeth consumed by a white fire within. In this release? Mana let out yet another screech and proceeded to devour hundreds of thousands of bodies with these tendrils as her consumption of the dead had soon began.

In this marking of The Demon Queen's entrance, all would know that the time for Madness's reign had came and these sinister bastards would know what it feels like to cross The Mad Queen. And this was only the beginning -- for both sides. Pulling her head up towards the skies would cause a demented grin to fix itself across The Manic Woman's face. Sensing reinforcements beginning to come by the boatload, The Demoness would once again prepare to engage in an infernal war once more. These fools, in her mind, truly didn't understand that they were just forfeiting their lives to her for no reason -- but she had no mind to tell them not to come. If they wanted to come and get her? She'd gladly await their arrival and continue her rampage throughout the city; savoring the flavor of untamed of chaos beginning to have it's fill and bracing herself for a long night of carnage, murder and outright destruction. This was going to be a truly loving family outing for The Asthavon Family and their friends, heheehehe.

A pressure hit the area with massive amount, the smoke flooded the area as it became clear where the sound echoed from. Hulderic Hylham the man whom vanished after a display at the war, his eyes glanced on with coldness in them. Within his grasp two demons where held, who's side where they on? Well these two didn't belong to Mana but it didn't matter truly, he sucked their very souls from their bodies. Absorbing and devouring them, his hunger was something thick. His eyes seemed old now, it became clear he was far older than the person who came before him. Jhwach was a snack that caused some damage on the way down. Hulderic's mind had been shattered six or seven times from eating him, his power as well had gone from stable to unstable. But now things had stabilized he remembered how old he was. Hulderic could be counted among the very first of his kind, his eyes looked on coldly as he felt his hunger for souls seem to lower for now. Though his stomach's growl echoed out as the hunger had been but slightly fed.

A sigh was let out as his pressure exploded again, his gaze was of glowing blue eyes. The Demons he held simply were gone, dead perhaps it was hard to say. His hand closed as he spoke, the voice seemed to echo out as the Old Quincy made his appearance clear. "Once upon a time..I met you before I forgot this world.." He paused for a moment wiping his mouth and beard of what had been a delicious meal. Would he be thrown into battle against someone, nobody cared here it wasn't as though this Vandenreich leader cared anymore. He remembered somethings as he thought of Mana as a meal. Something told him she much like the other meal of Yswach would cause his stomach problems he didn't need. His gaze lingered on the features of the female as he seemed composed. What happened to him was a question of well belief, could one accept that Hulderic the being they saw wasn't real. He was but a memory, but a visage of the broken mirror. When he arrived in Australia the last moments of life were upon him.

Instinct demanded food and he killed one hundred people devouring them. Feeding the hunger and those that Sing killed brought his hunger in full. " The Vandenreich have come..Simply to extend the branch." What was this meaning Hulderic was old and he knew the world's balance needed them to be this. It was more beyond what anyone else could really imagine, his hands caught a creature's pathetic attempt. Mana's eyes got to behold it as the creatures entire being was cracked and the soul was devoured. His hands could do it his mouth could, his eyes glowed blue. Almost as though feeling like he'd just eaten a long forgotten feeling. "If it's quite alright with you, I'd like to borrow some of these rebels for..something that's waited almost a thousand years." What he meant of course was his hunger that seemed to much. How many had Mana killed here, he raised his hand to those killed. Before their souls could depart they were sucked in. Lights of Blue and red, seemed to be sucked into his stomach now he was draining the very dead.

Hulderic Hylham was a monster from an age that never sought anything less. He smiled once he completed the task, he'd been kind enough to simply target those enemies Mana had slain. Letting her people be left alone, his eyes and body now seemed on fire as he slipped the massive meat hook arms into his pockets. Hulderic was back to normal, the kindness that seemed to ebb was cold. The broken mirror that Mana had once seen gone, this was the complete being. Was the personality problem truly Hulderic's problem, perhaps it was beyond that. Eating the man who did the same may of caused a backlash. More other souls were showing up and over powering Hulderic for a time. Managing to keep him at bay till now at the least, the beast had been unleashed and the time for eating was now. The Vandenreich Quincy who long since vanished and been gone. Had returned and was now waiting for the Demon Queen's action.

She'd gotten here like a comet falling from Heaven, Cero was a boy he remembered in his mind. But Cero didn't know about the abomination like power that slept within him. He didn't know Hulderic had killed the Emperor and done it to his face, nothing else was needed here. His eyes of glowing blue slowly returned to normal, he was by far one of the older looking males. The Vandenreich's descent on this place would happen soon, with his arrival it would only be a matter of time. A matter of time before monsters young and old showed up, Hulderic hadn't named a B but he intended to do so. This person would become his second in command, take the duty of watching over him when he decided to rest. Or perhaps help him find a way to feed on the souls he needed to keep himself whole. Never again would he let that broken mirror show, this was the time of the truth. Hulderic was free and he was keen to embrace the fact of his survival from that horrible shadow he was stuck in.

It should be noted that those Mana already devoured Hulderic couldn't obtain due to the fact they were gone.

Artist: Dova Syndrome - Song: うさぎ (KKHTA OST) - Word Count: 2055
After the first wave of the invasion was made successful, Mana had quite the fun inflicting terror throughout the streets of the Northern District. It was if the world around her was nothing but a toy and those who dared called themselves her enemy were nothing more than playthings that were comprised of such fragile material that she could snap with the mere force of her hand. Indeed, as the additional hive of souls were injected further into her soul, The Demoness could only laugh with a wicked howl throughout the streets as the skies turned a deeper shade of green. This destructive mission was obviously more of the forte of The Mad Maiden as the fires rose higher up in the heavens. Sensing more and more spirits beginning to fall down on the area, The Demoness then prepared for the next wave of soldiers to surely fall to their demise. One after one, those pitiful specimens were lining up just to die and become the meat for Mana's all you-can-eat buffet of spirits.

So with a cackle, a giggle and a smile; The Queen was going to get right back to work consuming those foolish men who dared oppose her order. As the space became littered with many sorts of vehicles akin to airships, these aerial vehicles started dropping off many sorts of burst of light towards the vicinity where Mana stood. The area was filled with explosions, god awful booms and the heat was unimaginable. As yet another plum of smoke rose into the city skyline, this attack had to have been at least a dual cero oscuras level from the estimated readings coming off the chart. Thus, while the smoke would clear, those around the range seemed to hover in the air to watch the results of their assault on their Wicked Ruler. Was she going to come out unscaved? Did she had the strength to come through swinging once again? Or were they able to inflict and bring down the house on this awful beast? These were all questions that were soon answered by the haunting sounds of a howling laughter from below their very feet.

As the fiery dust of the earth soon begun to settle, Mana could be seen coming out of the rubble with her clothes dirtied, a bit of blood oozing from her arms and legs and overall her hair was a bit unkempt after that entire shockwave of bombardments. However, overall, she was still very much intact. In fact, all this managed to do was rile her up further as she felt the waves of pain beginning to settle into her body. It made The Queen quiver, bite down on those pale lips of hers and exhale a soft moan as she was becoming very excited by all of the action and attention being focused on her. All of the anger, destruction, malice and chaos being generated by her being had been making the creature riled up and ready to go. So, to that end, she'd unleash a bit of her raw energy and a burst of emerald hued energy sparked up around Mana's body like a blazing flame as The Demoness was prepared to engage in combat once again; much to the dismay of her targets who were wondering just what in the world they were up against combating this ghoulish foe.

"Heheheh, I won't let you pretties escape. If you've had the courage, bravery and strength to face me in the deepest pits of hell, I'll give you the send off into the afterlife you so desire. Come here and let me show you what it means to step into the ring with The Queen of Discord!" Grinning with the utmost sensation of glee, a deafening laugh soon rocked the area like a hurricane as The Demented Ruler started unleashing row after row of tendrils from her back area. Contorting and shifting the structure of her body soon caused these appendages to grow rows of teeth and fangs; which resulted in The Royal Lady snickering non-stop as they generated a ticklish sensation down her spine.

On the other hand, those who would befall and encounter these weapons of carnage found themselves having a different feeling run down their spine. A pulsation of fear, terror and outright pain as they braced themselves for the end. Over the jovial sounds of The Queen's laughter, dozens upon dozens of these razor sharp tendrils started ripping apart the ships all around her. They latched on to the material, multiplied in number and went to inject rows and rows of miniature tentacles inside of the aircraft. Eating through steel, flesh and energy as if they were all the same material; it was a bloodfest inside the vessels within the aerial fleet. Blood spewed the walls of the air carriers as their screams being echoed out into the district below them. Siren sounds were then soon followed as they tore the cannons within into sunder and soon the mass airships, some spanning upwards from the size of a few city blocks to an entire football stadium length, were soon falling out of the sky and right into the city.

"YEAH, BURN IT ALL DOWN!"

In that blazing shout, The Manic Demon raved and cheered as the light within the area became overwhelming bright from hundreds upon hundreds of these vessels falling to the earth. Being seen from even the next town over, the next series of explosions were produced and shattered the Northern Portion of Naraka Sahara further. Hundreds of thousands were being killed in the most awful eruptions of fire imaginable. Babies, women, children, men and everyone in between were melted alive, burned to a charred corpse and outright obliterated in some cases. Soldiers, researchers, civilians and every class were not spared from this wrath. There would be no discrimination in this assault; as it was indiscriminate in it's vengance. All they were to Mana were further food to accelerate her madness, expand her chaos and fill the void within her soul as she consumed hundreds of thousands more spirits into her being from this shower of death.

Eyes twitching from euphoric release, Mana could feel her insides twisting and turning with the increase volume in souls finding home in her spirit. Was this what The Demon God yearned for? Imagery of Khala Asthavon soon played within her mind as the plan for the Soul Society came into her mind. Finding release in death, that was the primary motive behind that woman's actions. She desired for the world to be freed from its mortal bondage and find eternal nirvana in the cold jaws of the true afterlife with the physical incarnation of death. On this scale, even if it were smaller, was that what her God sought to do? If so -- IT FELT ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL TO INVOKE! All praise The Demon God!

Letting out a powerful howl into the night that encapsulated the joy within Mana's heart, she'd hear the sounds reflect back to her and raise a bit of an eyebrow as she felt the beat of another mighty individual reaching into the war torn city. Sensing the frequency of the soul's energy made The Demoness believe that she was quite familiar with this male. Being Quincy in origin, although there were slight alterations as to the vibrations that emitted from the man's aura, it still very much resembled the Vandenreich Leader: Hulderic Hylam. This brought about a wicked laugh as she couldn't believe he was getting in the munchies as well! Consuming soul after soul, destroying city section after city section; the destruction he was invoking was quite tasteful and mesmerizing to watch.

Despite the fact that there were many stories, rumors and statements based on the actions made by The Quincy King following his blowout from Australia -- Mana didn't care one way or the other. It was war -- it changes a person for the better or worse. Anything can take place in the fires of combat, so those sorts of things should stay in the battlefield. As in the mind of The Maiden, all that occurred in that war was something to merely be shrugged off her shoulders as there was nothing any spirit could do about what transpired. You merely roll with the punches, embrace the chaos and keep that metaphorical truck of yours moving down this hellish highway of life. So, it is to that effect, she'd reply to Hulderic's words with a bit of an amused chuckle being heard behind The Demon Queen's tone of voice.

"The exit and the end are all the same loop: it's an eternal cycle! What was once forgotten shall be engraved into ye's spirit yet again and released onto to the world in a blissful release as you erase yourself over and over in this boundless loop!" Sounding quite thrilled with herself, the words in which Mana spoke were very excited and festive as she started making her way over to the location where Hulderic had been spotted. All the while, she was swatting her enemies down like flies. As she jived, danced and hummed throughout the burning wreckage of the city streets; she'd move her hips to the right and take out five hundred meters of people, buildings and weapons in a calamitous outbreak of green fire. Then, with a twirl of her feet and a spin to the fight; she'd unleash yet another five hundred meter wave of annihilation and consume the lands within this hellish inferno; jumping upwards and then sending more tendrils to add to the flames as she took out more soldiers in a raining display of blood, guts and slaughter before landing gently down on her feet to the side of The Ancient Quincy.

"Extend a hand to the shadow's...and you will be pleased to find what awaits the veil!" Responding to the notion of Hulderic longing to ally himself and the Vandenreich with Shadow Fall, Mana seemed quite accepting of that offer as she cackled with great delight! At the same time, she'd soon direct tens of thousands of spirits towards her location; as numerous rows of stars rained down on The Queen and came pouring across her skin like a torrential rain of sweet nectar meant for The Crazed Ruler to devour. "Do I care if you partake in this feast? NAY! Drink, make merry and consume as much as your body can withstand! This is what it means to dine in the halls of hell; as so many mortal men have exclaimed in the past!" Truly, The Mad Maiden cared not who joined in on this ballroom dance through the fires of hades. So long as they were allied with The Queen, anyone, ranging from common man to the highest degree of Royal demon's, could join her side and twirl about in the dark as they enforced Chaos's Reign on the area.

"Let this alliance forged in carnage and murder commence, my dear Hulderic!" And to that, The Demoness pointed her bloodied finger towards her behind. In this motion? She'd then unleash yet another eradicating blast to wipe out more life throughout the range. Fire spread for thousands of meters and the extinction of the Rebel Ravens were all but imminent in the mind of The Demon Queen. She'd wipe them out like the cockroaches they were as The Asthavon felt more of their kind dying off in droves. So to this end, she'd part The Quincy King with these words: "Shall we continue? There seems to be no end to the lines of bugs lining up to be crushed. It's honestly quite disgusting."

Now with the ash settling in the distance, a soft sigh escaped Mana's lips. Something was quite off with all of this. For there was now a pressing thought was burning in her head now: It was easy -- almost a bit too easy. Was this what it meant to be at the level of strength she was? Sheez...even London put up more of a fight then this. Even so, she acknowledged that not many spirits yielded the resolve needed to wage battle with The Queen of Discord and thus the rampage across the Northern District would continue on into the burning night.

Storming Chaos: The Mad Maiden Strikes! [Rebel Raven Mission: Northern District] Empty Re: Storming Chaos: The Mad Maiden Strikes! [Rebel Raven Mission: Northern District]

Like a crack of thunder, destruction littered the Northern District of Naraka Sahara for miles on end. The specifics of this destruction were unknown to the dirty brown haired Yuudeshi at the time, he didn't even know the source of the problem. This male was Kakine Yuudeshi, known by many as The Creator of Nothing. Whilst he wasn't as famous as his brothers Shadin or Zin Yuudeshi, he was near equal to them in terms of strength. So whilst there was differences, he was a man who could deal out insurmountable amounts of destruction and damage. He knew this, and his entire family knew this. The only people who didn't know it is as of right now? His enemies on the demonic side. Kakine had very few dealings with the Demons of Demon World, he hadn't even fought against them in many, many years. Yes, their family held a strong grudge against the Asthavon family and their allies -- yet that didn't mean he had to battle them at all times. Never the less, the news of this 'destruction' and "rebellion" ongoing within Naraka Sahar brought a smile to the Creator of Nothing's face. That smile quickly turned into a grin, the grin of a mad man now being revealed to the entire world that stood before him. He had been sitting in a chair just outside of a small corner shop within Karakura Central. Anyone onlooking at him would assume he was some sort of freak, or that he had just received the best news of his life by the grin he held.

"Warning. It is highly recommended the Yuudeshi do not get involved within the internal conflict. Let this pass, but for now it is not key." The sound of a monotone voice rang inside his head. The voice itself belonged to the Will of the Yuudeshi network. Whilst it wasn't present before him, it had managed to tap into the cyber-brain of Kakine. Clicking his tongue, he quickly sighed and let the grin slowly fade from his face. Did they really think something like that would stop Kakine from entering the fray? This was the best time to strike, even if it wasn't recommended. If the Yuudeshi amassed all their forces right now, adding that atop of the Rebels striking Demon World -- there was a very high chance they could be victorious. Was Kakine the only one to think such a thing? But, for someone like Kakine, he thought that maybe he was acting this way out of spite. He knew that there would be a message relayed telling him not to leave and join the battle. He had very openly expressed his dislike for the Will of the Yuudeshi Network during the Australian War, it was possible that his actions where to, metaphorically, say "fuck you" to the Networks order.

"The Network really believes now isn't a good time to strike? That seems ridiculous. If nobody else is willing to act upon such things, then there's only one thing to do..." With a crack of his neck and fingers, a bright light began to circle him from toe to the tip of his head, and in a flash burst outwards, scattering tiny light particles over the area. He had disappeared from his location instantly, using the Yuudeshi Networks transportation abilities to send him instantly to his location. He knew his destination: Naraka Sahara, the Northern District. How did he know that's where his best place to strike was? In all honesty, he didn't. His thought process was simple; where was the main source of destruction? Right now, it appeared to be The Northern District. Using this logic, he could use the Rebel's forces as leverage to hide his presence. However, despite this, it also meant that there was the highest chance of the heavy hitters being there. All in all, it was a gamble, a 50/50 chance if you will. He would either enter quickly and blend with the Rebels as cover, or he would be faced with a bunch of enemies right up in his face. In another burst of white light, the particles began to scatter in the skies of Naraka Sahara's Northern District, slowly fading and revealing the presence of Kakine Yuudeshi.

WHAM!!

With a force akin to a meteor striking earth, a large black tendril slammed directly into his chest. The strike hit him with enough force to push him directly through three buildings, each structure collapsing upon itself after he went through them. Laying in a cloud of dust, a few coughs would be heard from within the carnage. Almost immediately bringing himself to his feet, a lone silhouette could be seen walking through the mist. The figure belonged to Kakine Yuudeshi. As the dust settled, it would visible that he was simply dusting off the remnants of rubble and chunks of earth from his maroon coloured suit. Turning his head to the side and spitting out a ball of saliva, a menacing smirk now crossed his face, either hand placed in their respective pockets. Small steps were taken as he approached the direction he was struck, however his vision fell upon something... something that.. probably was the worst thing he could imagine in this mission. The force of the black tendril had been dulled by his cybernetic shielding, he wasn't sure how much he could withstand against opponents such as Mana Asthavon and Hulderic Hylam.

Kakine's gamble seemingly hadn't paid off. With the objective in mind of entering and sneaking among the rebels, he was hit with the worst situation he could imagine. With a frown, he looked upon the woman whom was enveloped in darkness, she was clearly feeding off of the chaos and destruction around. His vision then shifted across, vision now falling upon Hulderic Hylam. How did he know this man? For the most part, it was due to their brief encounter during the Australia war. He had threatened to kill him because he was getting the Quincy involved in matters that do not concern them. So with a sigh, one hand was taken out of his pocket and placed adjacent to his face, palm bent backwards as he closed one eye and spoke.

"So in the end I'm faced with you two, huh? I suppose now is the best time to introduce myself. My name is Kakine Yuudeshi. I believe we have already met, Hulderic Hylam." A soft sigh now resonated as he lowered his hand and opened his closed eye. "And ah yes, the ever so famous Mana Asthavon. I believe this is the first time we have met. Tell me... ever heard of peace and diplomacy? Because it sure seems like you guys didn't even consider that option. So pathetic, I'd prefer not to get civilians and children involved, yet you'd just destroy everyone here..." Clicking his tongue yet again, Kakine looked as the bodies of men, women and children laid lying, burning in the streets, airships falling from the sky like meteors striking Earth. Both his hands were raised around chest level, and with a click of both index fingers, the structures he had destroyed were instantly replaced with the exact same compounds that laid on the ground. This was his power. The CreationConstruction. Similarly, the falling apart ships in the sky would find themselves quickly repaired and patched in all areas they were destroyed. In all honesty, Kakine could not have cared whether they were saved. Rather, it was a source to show off his power. He knew in his heart that this was going to end in a fight, there was no doubt. But perhaps he could try some diplomacy by showcasing what he was capable of first.

"That kinda hurt, however... what else have you got?"

「NOTICE FOR THIS THREAD」
Alright, since Crow hasn't posted for awhile, I'm going to go ahead and skip him. We'll just say that Hulderic decided to let Mana have a bit of fun and face off against Kakine. I'll start on my post shortly after this.

Artist: Xenoglossy - Song: 3rd Eye Arrange - Word Count: 1725
As the plumes of fire and dust started to settle from the first series of attacks, it seemed that the Demon Queen was making good headway in this battle. Sure there were a few burns, scrape marks and a sense that her energy tapered off a bit after her little "greeting" into the city -- but she was indeed proving herself as a one-man army. The casualties of her assault were rising into the millions at this point and the destruction impacted to the Northern Section of Hell City was indeed catastrophic. If things kept at this rate? Surely she'd decimate this city by herself if her other allies didn't. That was just the nature of dealing with such a monstrous force that was The Danava of Madness and Discord. Although, in spite of all the emerald balls of smoke and flames rising into the sky, there still seemed to be no lack of supply of reckless heroes coming to the aide of this city.

In a deafening boom -- an unknown entity had smashed into the city and this brought the utmost of Mana's attention as she chuckled to herself. And -- well -- there was certainly something interesting approaching the area. That was one of the first thoughts that came into the mind of The Demon Queen as she felt one of her numerous tendrils slam into something heavy, dense and quite powerful. Indeed, it brought quite the sinister smirk across The Demoness's face as her eyes fixated on the position of Kakine coming out of the smoke. Perhaps, out of all these useless sacks of meat, a worthwhile challenger had emerged. After all, things could get boring without a little fight every now and again. While it's all fun and games to go around obliterating landscapes, terrorizing mass populations and taking over countries -- it's all for naught if there wasn't a good war story to drive home about! So along these thoughts of fancy, perhaps this male could even pose to be one of her rivals if he proved himself to be capable of handling the might of The Demon Queen! There were so many wonderful thoughts buzzing around that she just had to make a comment at this point!

"A Yuudeshi....all the way out here in wee ol demon world? HAHAHAHAHAH!" There was a boastful laugh that shook the remaining buildings around them as Mana became enthrilled by this new obstacle in her path. So much so -- she grabbed the leg of a rogue demon that was humanoid in shape. In one foul movement she'd then yank out the man's limb; resulting in a blood curdling scream to escape from his mouth as blood spewed in every which direction but right. And as the crimson fluid dripped on Mana's pale cheek, The Demoness increased the length of her tongue, tasted it and giggled. "Well, this is a quickly made gift, but I'd like this to be a token of my appreciation towards ya' kind hearted nature. Not many people are brave enough to just throw their lives away to make a point!" Speaking in quite the loose and whimsical tone, Mana's body followed suit with her nonchalant demeanor and started twirling around. Soon after, she playfully threw the leg and made this...horrid pun: "I don't need to bore you with details as ya already know what ya are stacked against, hun." And then -- the leg would hit Kakine dead in the face if the winds of fate were played right. "So why don't ya break a leg, sugah."

You could almost hear it, nay, feel it. In the air around them -- the universe was cringing at the absurdity of this woman's humor. Yet, despite the horrid comedy being dished out by The Demoness, she was indeed paying attention to her surrounding. Squinting her eyes real tight like, rubbing her chin as if she were in deep thought and nodding her head as if she understood the complexities of a profound problem; Mana was analyzing, observing and paying tribute to the repairs Kakine was doing with his power. In her prospective? This brash male probably had some sort of mental power as the Yuudeshi's were infamous for them. To confirm this theory -- she'd probably need to further engage him in combat.

So, with a hop, skip and a jump: BANG! The sounds of an explosion ripped all throughout the surroundings as a dazzling burst of green and black light filled the battlegrounds. Emitting from the palm of Mana's right hand would be a destructive wave of DE Force heading straight for Kakine's way. Yielding within it enough power to destroy a dozen city blocks, Mana wanted to test the grounds a bit by holding herself back to this restrictive area. Therefore -- she had more to work with without focusing on too broad of an area. For starters, the effects of this blast would be equal to taking a Grand Ray Cero from the likes of The Hollow Queen head on. This would make the initial explosion itself quite the dozy to deal with as the heat could melt Kakine's skin as if he were food for the slaughter, the impact could make his shatter like glass and the fires within the blaze would compound these effects and attempt to drown him in an inferno of pain.

Yet, with everything The Queen does, it would not be so simplistic. The sinister after-effect of this attack was going to be that it yielded the attributes of The Asthavon's oh-so-favorite thing: DEATH! Making great use of her breakdown ability, Mana sought to have the very fabric of space around The Creator of Nothing be deconstructive and reduced to a blackened void. As in this moment, Mana was tearing through and decaying the walls of dimensions around them. So, if Kakine were directly hit by this, he'd feel similar effects oozing into his body. The rotting of his spiritual energy may very well begin to take place; making harder and harder for him to utilize talents that require his reiatsu to work. Meanwhile, the very movements of his body could begin to grow sluggish as it sought to drain the health out of him and deteriorate his physical strength, speed and durability like a nasty virus. The ultimate goal was to make even breathing a labored effort if her effects proved to be fully encountered by The Yuudeshi and make this battle end abruptly if he weren't able to survive this first onslaught.

"Giddy-up, cowboy! We gotta see if you can wrangle this here bull!" Referring to herself as the bull and Kakine as the rider, Mana pointed to each of them when referencing their roles in this tango; all the while having a husky laugh and cackle in her voice as she started to have her fill of this battle. "Now...GET ALONG LITTLE DOGIE! GET ALONG!" Letting out a raving roar of pleasure, the yell Mana gave was in place with the time her hands went flying in the air. In this signal to the heavens? Two dozen more of these attacks starting raining down on Kakine like a horrid fire as Mana yearned for him to squirm, to dance around and make this waltz across life and death interesting. "We don't have time for diplomacy when death is screaming at your door: SO LEAVE THAT NON-SENSE ON EARTH, YUUDESHI!"

Vanishing from her position, Mana weaved in and out of the night Shadow's until she appeared above Kakine and before the moon with a emerald glow slithering from her body. In one foul motion? She materialized her infamous weapon in her right hand: Dead Master. And with this scythe came great power. In one quick movement, The Demoness swung it like a bat and unleashed a cluster of explosive force that sought to eradicate everything in sight. Buildings, bodies, street cars; EVERYTHING within the next five hundred meters were meant to be exterminated by this power. Henceforth, the type of strength this blow was working with was comparable to numerous carpet bombs dropping on a city in order to incarnate it; giving Kakine even more to deal with on top of her wave of decay spraying him like a lethal rain.

"Now be a good dear and either drop dead if you a real wimp, or come back from the grave if you a stud I'd like to ride all night!" Fanning herself with left hand, Mana felt this was a pleasant way to start off a battle. A good lightshow, meat and bones flying around in every direction and the soundtrack of madness in the form of destruction were certainly a few ways to get the party started intermixed with a few taunts here and there. Although, from this point out, Mana would be more impressed and amused if he were able to come back from all of that. Perhaps she had indeed found a person to keep her entertained for more than a few seconds. It was growing tiresome going through all the canon fodder and he'd better not disappoint.

"Oh, I almost forgot!" Slapping her hand across her forehead, The Demoness soon stuck her tongue out in a comical fashion and began giggling to herself. The primary reason she was here in the first place -- was to take away their little guns. So with a whirl of the hand, Mana harmonized herself to the network of information flowing through Shadow Fall's database. Coming to the conclusion that she was near a weapon storage facility -- The Demoness spared no time in wasting it! "Pew-pew~" And with that, the release of two green energy blast were shot off from her horns and twirled around in the night sky like fireworks ready to make it's mark on a blackened building one hundred meters away from them. It's intent was to draw them out with absurd force and reduce it to rubble! And being that there appeared to be underground operations going on from Mana's own enhanced hearing, these sets of blast were meant to sink deep into the Earth and smoke these rebels out like the rats they were.

"So, what's it gonna be, Yuudeshi Boy? I surely hope a clan that thrives on battle isn't so easily clobbered!"

"I suppose there's no point in diplomacy, then." Gusts of wind continuously rampaged the entire region. The city was in ruins, the ground was charred with a fiery glaze and the buildings laid in a large stack of nothing but rubble. Even the ones he had repaired just a moment ago had been instantly torn down almost the exact second it was repaired. Danger surrounded the brown haired Yuudeshi at every turn, he was in enemy territory. He had no allies here. Nobody was coming to his rescue. So as he scanned the destruction and the torn up scenery, he couldn't help but a let a soft smirk cross his lips. He had never been to Demon World before, he didn't know what to expect: but this scene proved everything he thought was true to be correct. Blazing area of fire, destruction at every turn - the very civilians being treated as nothing but a tertiary concern for this Queen before her. It didn't matter how many people she killed, or how many people got in her way, if her goal was met that's what seemed to matter. Gathering up a large ball of saliva, Kakine would tilt his head to the left and spit it out in a straight shot, the ground was so hot that it sizzled upon touching.

Mana was someone Kakine had only heard stories about, that she was the enemy of their family and was the epitome of darkness and chaos in this world. Even growing up he knew the name 'Asthavon' and always associated it with the term "enemy." For the environment and family he was brought up with, it was no surprise that he would view them as the opposing force. For a long while, he simply stood there and eyed off the black haired demon as she spoke, not even paying attention to Hulderic or the rebels dying around him. It seemed Mana wanted to take this one alone, to fight the Yuudeshi in a one on one. For the most part, this was the best result for Kakine to achieve. If he had to fight both the Demon World dictator as well as leader of the Quincy, he doubted he would make it out of this world alive.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. A Yuudeshi in Demon World. Stop making a big deal of it, you demons litter my realm, you shouldn't be so shocked. I've never dealt with an Asthavon before... You guys sound formidable." Looking at his finger nails for a moment, his open fist was place forward in front of him, inner palm pointed to the sky. Clenching his fist together as reiatsu began to surge around his body, the smirk grew even stronger. "So don't disappoint me, Queen of Demons." As he said these mocking words, his body frame stiffened, his right fist still being in the pockets of his maroon pants. Kakine silently watched as Mana ripped the leg right from the demon, licking the blood and spinning as if she enjoyed it. Kakine had seen some sick things in his life, a leg being torn off was no where near enough to put him on edge. His gaze tightened, however, as the woman began licking the blood right from it. If this was the true form of being an Asthavon, then these were the beings that needed to be purged from the world. Even as she tossed the leg at him, at the same time making the worst pun he had heard in the five centuries he had lived, before it could even hit him, it was simply smacked aside by using his reiatsu as a catalyst.

With a large crack, a wave of pressure was seen to be shooting directly towards Kakine's position. His smirk now turned to an evil grin, just before making contact with his body, a light flashed and a large arc-shaped wall made of seki-stone appeared right before him. Seki-seki stone was said to be nearly unbreakable, it was the material the entirety of Soul society was constructed upon. As he opened his mouth to say something cocky, the force suddenly slammed into the stone mid air and forced itself to nearly break directly through it. 'What!? Damn it, seems I underestimated how strong the blast was...' Within a few seconds, the Seki-Seki stone had been all but obliterated and Kakine stood behind it, left arm being brought forward and swiped to the left. Channelling his Cybernetic Barrier into his right hand, he could shove off most of the force, even with something as strong as this was used. The damage had been reduced and the forced nulled, he had assumed it would be simple enough to shove it aside. With the swipe, the rest of the blast managed to be redirected into a building around five hundred metres away. Gritting his teeth, Kakine had very little time to react to what to came next.

Even with his intense speed and reaction times, Kakine didn't expect such an assault so quickly. Rifts of darkness began to open around his body. They were large orbs, and in a single instant, he felt himself be latched onto. Each one struck him, death energy latching onto him. He could feel that even his cybernetic barrier was having a tough time dealing with it, to the point where it broke through in areas and began slowly tearing his skin and burning his insides. He could feel his bodily functions being slowed, he couldn't even use shunpo at this point to escape. Keeping his head down near his chest from the assault, he simply sighed and said softly under his breathe... "Ha... so I have to use it, then..." Perhaps he got too cocky, he originally thought she would be up for diplomacy. That was a big mistake that caught him off guard.

A bright pulse of white light erupted from Kakine's location, so bright that it would even be blinding to the likes of the Demon Queen if she looked directly at him. The light soon faded and from within the light appeared six large, pure white wings. Three wings on either side of his back, each one stretching over twenty metres in wing span. Kakine had stood up instantly, appearing now as if there was not a single scratch upon him. The wings he had called upon were an aspect he had recently gained in the War on Australia, he had still not learnt their true meaning, but they had given him access to a now unique side of him, almost like an angelic presence. The reason he called upon this? Purity. In normal circumstances, he wouldn't rely on such a thing to save him from destruction: but this was one time he could make an exception. With the Death Energy working to eat at him, he could rely on the purification traits to instantly purge all darkness that entered his body.

"You've got it all wrong, Asthavon. This isn't a rodeo. THIS IS SPANISH BULLFIGHTING, AND YOU'RE THE BULL WAITING FOR SLAUGHTER!"

Even as she disappeared in the shadows, running around in the pale moonlight, his cockiness would not be stopped. Appearing right above his head wielding the famous scythe, aiming to slam an incredible blow that would be able to level city blocks for miles on end. Yet Kakine did not waver. If this was a battle of brute strength, then he was going to show Mana what a second generation Yuudeshi was capable of. The scythe was swung down at blinding speeds, aiming to make contact with Kakine from above. With a large crack, the scythe had made contact with the target -- however something was weird. There were no screams of pain, nor was there blood flying in the air. Rather, Kakine had wrapped himself within his white wings. The wings could withstand incredible force, the force of the scythe was incredible, that was no lie, but it seemed she underestimated what he was capable of, too.

The Creator of Nothing wasted no time in a counter attack. As the queen turned her attention elsewhere, Kakine rushed forward at blindingly fast speeds. Within the click of a tongue, his hand would aim to press right up on Mana's face, clenching his fist tight and aiming to crush her facial features into a bloody mess. Even if this grabing attempt failed, his body would remain extremely close to hers, either way allowing his next move to be activated. "If I stood against all the armies in the world, or even every demon in Demon World, I would emerge victorious if this is all you've got!" From point blank range, a spark would ignite right before both of their bodies. Three wings from one side of his back shot around to the front of his body, preparing himself for his own attack. As soon as the spark was shown, Kakine had ignited an intense explosive right before them both by using his CreationConstruction. Just as he could create objects or anything he wished, he could similarly cause high impact explosion to radiate and obliterate an area from mid air. Without his wings being spawned, it was likely he would also take immense damage all over his body. The explosion created would ring out over a five hundred metre area, any remaining bodies and buildings were instantly incinerated in the heat. From within the explosion, Kakine was still wrapped in his white wings. His right hand, if still mananging to grap Mana's face would be singed in burns all over, even shrapnel piercing through his skin.

The wings slowly faded, cracking into fragments of white aura. The combined efforts of his own explosion and Mana's deadly assault forced the wings to shatter and fall to the floor, only seconds later re-emerging over his back once again, spread out like an angels own wings. With a shunpo, he appeared on the ground quite a distance away. This wasn't all, however, as the wings re-emerged both hands were placed in his pockets. From the location the two once stood, The Creator of Nothing simply smirked and walked forward, forcing more explosions to stack up, each one a magnitude similar to the first explosion. At least twenty more explosion rang out, by the time it was finished a great ditch was seen through the ground, the dirt spat out of the hole with each explosion, raining dirt and body parts of people standing by. The Yuudeshi was not sure whether his enemy was still within the area, however he wouldn't let that stop him from showcasing the destruction he could let out. Each explosion sent out shock waves all over, so if she was caught within it - it would be extremely unlikely for her to walk away unscathed or without burns.

Kakine had yet to know her true potential, it was likely she was just testing him at this moment. He had heard the rumours and examples of what she can do, so it was likely not even one of those explosions had a full effect. But that wasn't for him to decide, the only thing he could decide was what to throw next and how to deal with the things thrown at him.

"Fighting the Queen of Demons in this world is really such a downer for me... I hear, when fighting on your own turf, your powers begin to amplify. I don't suppose you'd rather change to a different location?" Spitting out sarcastically, Kakine let the final explosion ring out and let silence fall over the battlefield, if the Queen of Demons let it. Letting his wings curl back up behind his back, he now simply smiled softly at Mana, not a single piece of malice held within it. "The Yuudeshi aren't ones to be easily destroyed, you should know this. But I won't make the mistake of thinking you'll be so easily defeated, there's no way someone could rise to your position without insurmountable strength. Don't mock me."

"Diplomacy? There is no room for something so...fragile in a land so fierce. These people resigned themselves as my enemy, and they'll be disposed of as such. Am I, Queen of Demon's, not obliged to reliate?" Looking around the burning embers of the city brought quite the pleasurable smile to creep into Mana's face. Was she truly in the wrong here? Millions of people signed their death warrant partaking in such an uprising. Through most of history, in fact, those who opposed royalty were soundly dealt with. The Royal Asthavon Family were no different in this occasion. For once -- they were the ones being encroached upon! Did he not realize that? Mana was piqued to find out! "Tell me, is it any DIFFERENT than when you loveable scarmbs blew Australia to oblivion and back? Invaders come on your turf, they pose a threat and you terminate those bothersome bunch of terrorist as such. As an outsider to how Demon World is ran, tell me how you see so fit to judge this dispute we have when your tactics are just as lethal as our own methods?"

Speaking with obvious glee behind every word uttered, there was a hardy laugh to be had when she picked at the hypocrisy of what the male spoke. Sure, she could easily imagine herself as the villain here from a different perspective, as there was no doubt about that in her mind from all the actions she took until this point in her life. However -- it was rather foolhardy of the male to try and reason with her with that logic when they are one in the same on different sides of the spectrum! So as she watched him charge up, flex his spiritual muscles and get ready to retaliate in quite the destructive fashion; the Demon Queen's cackles only grew more ample in volume as the robust tone in her voice became stronger with each step The Yuudeshi took towards meeting her into the mist of chaos! "Don't worry, I won't leave you unsatisfied! By the end of this fight, you'll be yearning to hear my name, my scent, my voice and to embrace my very essence once it allures you into it's grip and allows you to become one with the carnage around us and within us!"

When finished with the exchange between The Creator of Nothing, Mana could only have a low giggle slither out of her mouth as she observed the performance The Yuudeshi gave her. Watching him recreate the material of the Seki-Seki Stone was enough to confirm her hypothesis about how this man's- powers seemed to work. Tapping her chin with a playful, yet curious expression across her face; The Demoness's eyes appeared to glitter with excitement as she determined how best she should deal with such a pesky power! "OOOO, that's gotta hurt!" After the smoke cleared from the first wave of death smashing into Kakine's body like spears of contempt, The Asthavon FELT that pain and knew he was beginning to fall prey to his own arrogance. "If only you would let the loving embrace of your blood's true nature hold you, caress you and care for you: you wouldn't be in this kind of pain now! Let the CHAOS that brews in your clan's history come forth and liberate you from your ego!"

Once she was finished hollering her words out towards Kakine in a manic frenzy, there was something that made The Demoness widen her eyes a bit out of surprise. There was -- a sense -- of holy energy -- being generated from this male. And while it is true she faced many opponents with pseudo-angel powers, knock-offs of saints and other holy-wanna-be's; what she felt in that surge of The Yuudeshi's energy took her back to the same pulsations of strength she felt from Truth -- albeit on a smaller scale. "Hahahaha...I see! It all makes sense!" Seemly laughing to herself, around the moment that the wings had extended out of Kakine's body -- Mana already knew just the kind of force she was up against -- AND IT BROUGHT HER SUCH JOY AND TERROR INTO THE QUEEN'S HEART! Flashing back to memories of Madness City, she'd remember fighting against the crusade of holy bastards who fought under Truth's wing and the very sensations of power that made her feel fear.

Heart racing, adrenaline kicking and energy raising; the blood within The Demon Queen was beginning to grow as a maddening grin came into view across her lips. It seems that fate would bestow her with a chance to taint, corrupt and otherwise sully the name of the Angel race by facing another inbred drunk off of Truth's POWER! In fact, as she dimmed the light in her eyes with shadow's in order to better endure this blinding beacon of energy radiating from Kakine, for a brief for seconds -- Mana hallucinated that Truth himself was standing in place of Kakine and it brought her an urge to maul right through this preppy bastard!

"Bravo, BRAVO! WHAT A SPECULAR PERFORMANCE! COLOR ME EXCITED, HALO BOY!" Irate, vocal and out of control; Mana's voice was cackling all over place as she started applauding his display of power and churning to rip it into two with her bare hands. "To believe I'd get another chance to tear apart another Angel.....FILLS MY DISCORDED HEART WITH HAPPINESS!" Watching the holy male endure the blow of her scythe further cemented the fact that this was going to get more and more entertaining as the battle waged on.

In fact, she'd laugh all the way to the banks of insanity as he cocked her square in the face with his fist. The blow was strong enough to tear apart bones, shatter bodies and potentially even obliterate the entire lands they stood on -- but Mana's presence still stood ever tall! Yeah, she gushed blood out of her mouth, there was a hole leaking out the woman's right jaw and the impact was certainly felt -- but The Queen of Madness's had more than one trick up her sleeve to endure this battle! Already, being taunted by her own consciousness, The Demoness's body started to react quite erratically and it's pain suppression went to work to only make the pain feel that much more pleasurable.

"Kekekekeke, why are you worried about the world's armies when you haven't even dented tHE ONE RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!?" Progressively turning from a more passive voice into an all out scream into the night, Mana's raw energy seemed to sky rocket and eclipse to a peak as a burst of green energy expanded from out of her body and collided with the ignition of Kakine's own angelic energy. By infusing this force with demonic elements and attributes from death's own energy, it was meant to neutralize and negate the explosion by having two equal powers cancel themselves out. Akin to the classic showdown of energies clashing against one another. In this process, it was also assumed that the hand of The Yuudeshi's would be blown backwards by the repulsion of this outburst of energy.

Meanwhile, in order to avoid injury to herself, the expertise of Mana's prowess over the magical arts was also able to simultaneously produce a dense and thick black barrier around her. It was a short lived one, of course, but the energy compacted into was just enough to let The Queen bare the might of the storm as the world was obliterated around her. When the fire cleared, the ash settled and the moonlight's glime shined down on the pile of rubble around them; the shadow shield cracked and turned to sunder, becoming nothing more than white ashes in the wind after being purified by Kakine's wings.

"Oh man, oh wow! It feels like I'm a little girl once again with papa watching all the dazzling fireworks explode in the heaven's on a clear summers eve during the Fourth of July!" Still speaking with a gaping hole in her jaw, it quite the spectacle to see her still talking despite taking what would normally be considered a mortal blow, but she seemed to take it so -- casually. "...oh wait, I don't have any parents! So let me just scrap that idea altogether, darling!" Clicking her tongue, Mana held out her right hand and had a gaping hole emerge in front of her. Crackling to the brim with pure power from The Demoness's core, her magic was once again at work creating a vortex meant to suck the very space around them into a void of nothingness. Working like an oversized vacuum, it devoured all of Kakine's explosions, the earth they scorched and all the collateral damage around them; including buildings, scattered weaponry, civilians and everything else not nailed down within range.

(CHANGE SONG HERE)

"Hehe, that's a nice smack talk you got going on there. Yeah, I like that. It's nice to see you aren't a flimsy toy so easily broken." Clapping her hands, the skies around them started to become devoured by a emerald color and the moon illuminated at an even brighter intensity than previously seen before. The influence of The Demon Queen was overwhelming as the belly of the beast was just getting wound up. "However..." In a matter of moments the area around them started to become -- hot. Incredibly hot! So hot that all life around them may as well be dead by now! Buildings were melting, the stars that twinkled in the skies evaporate into goo and the very oxygen in the air started to lessen and Kakine would find it incredibly hard to breathe. But oh, that would be the least of his problems!

"...they are as empty as the space inside your head and the void left in this world." And in that phrase -- satanic aura's slammed into the area like a freight train in the night! All around them roars erupted, chains cluttered the sky and blood started to rain from the heavens and creek out of the earth itself. The city was contorting, the ground was shaking and the air became even more restricted as the laughter of millions of children smashed into Kakine's direction like a supernova soundburst; one that was very capable of shaking up his willpower, stunning him in place and even physically harming his body. Yet -- even those trivial effects were not the prime intent. He'd feel it, he'd know it and see it all around him -- HELL WAS OUT IN FULL FORCE!

Hahahaha, yes! The Demoness was very capable of summoning small portions of hell itself in order to gain the edge in combat against these pesky angel's like The Creator of Nothing. And with it? The petrifying effects of it's domain came forth into the world around them. As that burst of sinister cackles blew into the direction of The Yuudeshi, the intent was to damage and compromise the function of his angelic powers. Being that within the pits of hell, holy powers have quite the difficult time sustaining themselves, Mana assumed she wouldn't be able to rid him of all his purification -- but a noticeable drop in their effectiveness was more than probable! He was strong, there was no doubt about it, and now wasn't the time to let her delusions warp her perception -- at least while she could still help it!

"Indeed, you are strong and a worthwhile foe..." Pausing for a moment, Mana could only snicker to herself as the rhytum of her heart grew stronger. Was it...fear that she was feeling? Yeah -- that was it! It felt so right to mesh this...fear...together with her contorted mind! That aura of Truth....needed to be tainted! There was -- no getting around it! "...so allow me to fill this hollow strength with something more fulfilling!" Holding her right hand, Mana commanded her second infamous weapon, Unchained Madness, to be summoned to the field. Being infused with the sweet nectar of hell, it took on a red and black color as it came out of the shadow's all around Kakine. It sought to pierce into Kakine's skin with it's razor sharp edges, hold him in place and begin constantly stabbing him and bringing down his overall health. And while, if they missed the mark with their stabbing, just being within a ten to twenty meter radius of these things were enough for their energy zapping to take place. Normally, they were able to suck the life of the environment around them, but in this case? It was special! Locking on to the frequency of The Creator of Nothing's holy aura, they were given commands to suck him dry of his angelic authority if they could help it!

"D̲ọ͕͙̬̖͞ ̢̥yo̴̫u͓̳͇̳͝ͅ ͘f̭̫̬͚͟e̸e͈͉̱͓͙͕l̻̻̰̟͡ ҉͓̙̣̟͈͈a̶ ̙͚̙ḷ̲͎͉̜͉̕i̪̺͍̦͠ͅt͓̝t̨̩̬̮̖͓͕l̮͙͈̩͕̺e̬̫̱̜͎̮.̖̪͖̫̹̣̤.̼̺̜̯͔̝.͖̩͈̰͈͇̤M͕̭̗͙̹̦͟A͝D̖!̻̻͞?̖̞͜"

Mana's tone of voice soon became incomprehensible at this point. As the dimensions around the two fighters started to become filled with statics, a loud and overpowering gurgling started to fill the lands. What was happening? MADNESS WAS HAPPENING! Blobs of black, red and green started to swirl around Kakine and soon he'd feel the weight of his mind being tested against the allure of lunacy incarnated! Like a cat being lead to the slaughter with the allure of catnip, so to would the scent of discordia tempt the weakness of Kakine's determination and willpower into the abyss of insanity!

Corrupting him, binding him; hallucinations of all sorts may very well start to plague and fill Kakine's vision. In fact -- the very world around him may cease to exist! In a void of nothingness, he may very well be paralyzed and constrained by the inner fears of his heart, memories of his past and horrors of his mind. It was difficult to grasp such a state of fluid mind, but he'd swing in and out of the arms of life and death itself even. Choking the perception of time, seconds could seem like hours of endless torment. The notions of a painful death may creep into his body, and the air-gasping lunge back to a life would greet him each time in this infinite loop of depravity! In...and out...in and....OUT! Over and over, again and again! Loop after loop: the end, the beginning; they were all the same loop! Like a bug caught in a venus flytrap, Kakine's mind was not going to get away from this embrace without a fight!

A tiny tear will begin to grow, swallowing the entire fabric of The Angel's very sanity. A body left empty, a mind drained of rational thought and a soul depleted of life; the mad moon would burst its dam and fill the hollow vessel with new life in the night of discord! Smiling with such delight under the eclipse of mania embodied, the demoness who bared the weight of madness waited for his spirit to shatter into a million shards of light under the sky of discordia! "Oh dear....oh my....it's been sometime since I've let you come out, haven't it? You wanna play to, hunny? C'mon, have your fill!" Calling out to her own Atma Vatou, The Essence of Turmoil was in the air and the descend of hysteria was enveloping all of the lands.

Behind the empress of insanity stood tens, nay, hundreds of thousands of spirits muttering, groaning, laughing, screaming, cackling, smiling, grinning and overall moaning with the grip of madness's clutch crippling their minds! Sure, Kakine may or may not be able to resist, but the numerous spirits around them weren't so lucky! And the ol' halo boy himself surely wouldn't get out of it without a good mental fight! In the meantime -- the essence of holiness that was his shell would become -- a plaything -- for The Queen. Over and over, the unchained madness would stab, pierce and suck his very energy, health and body while his mind was in despair! Attacking him physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually -- this was the game of The Demoness and she played it well!

"Don't worry Kakine, the world you created with your very blood....this wretched sham will soon be over!" With a single flick of her hand, a spear of blacked light was unleashed from her hand and meant to pierce into the abdomen of The Angel for one final blow. With it? Perhaps the tainting of his very body would be felt and the essence of Kakine may be felt. All of the darkness within him may be unleashed, the shackles of his mind's true self freed and the death of his holy facade may very well come to fruition! "Loud, furious...and signifying nothing as it passes from this world...that is your will. Let my madness not kill you, but give you something worthwhile to live for and let the true self come to the surface in this world of lunacy!"

Thus...the chains closed in....the jaws of hell grew nearer and the the fight against The Beast grew ever more alarming for The Creator of Nothing!

Storming Chaos: The Mad Maiden Strikes! [Rebel Raven Mission: Northern District] Empty Re: Storming Chaos: The Mad Maiden Strikes! [Rebel Raven Mission: Northern District]

Sun Jun 08, 2014 2:55 am

The Yuudeshi was bound to have it rough. As of right now, he was fighting the most famous and feared Demon in all history, and there was not a single thought of help for him. He was alone. Alone, trapped within the darkness that consumed Demon World, both physically and metaphysically. The entire Northern District gave off a fowl stench of darkness, of pure chaos and anger - something that one would not normally feel upon Earth. It was almost like a sixth sense to Kakine, something that many humans had, that they could sense fear or the very tension in the air. Yet there was no escape from this tension whilst in Demon World, for it encompassed his entire body, sank into his mind and infected his being. Madness, in many forms, is contagious. All it takes is a little too much exposure to drive someone over the edge, or push themselves into destruction. Yet the Yuudeshi of dirty blonde hair was strong willed, even by the forces of Mana, he was determined to not succumb to such attempts at breaking his soul. So with the wings still remaining curled up on his back, he flexed his shoulders and loosened up his muscles while viewing the aftermath of his assault. As expected, he wouldn't have much time to stand around, but in the end his speed was more than likely superior to Mana, as well as his reaction times.

"Don't lump me in with what my brothers started. I was there based on family, nothing more. I did not aim to kill those civillians, yet you would just blast them into nothing without even consideration. Not that I care, honestly. Lethal, non lethal. I just personally think it's pathetic without even trying to find a peaceful solution. Those moronic inbreeds at the Monsuta had their warnings, and Australia aligned with them anyway." The collision of Death Energy and Angelic Forces collided, a great force rang out as a result, knocking not only his right arm backwards, but his entire body, being pushing from within his cocoon of wings. Yet even as his following explosions rang out into the air, he could feel that every single one hadn't the intended effect he desired. With a sigh, he'd look at his slightly burnt and weakened arm from the explosion and spit out a ball of saliva yet again. His fingers would be moved ever so slightly, making sure he still had full control over that arm. His gaze, however, never left the Demon Queen. Mana would never leave his eyesight. For if he simply averted his eyes for a mere second, it could mean death for him. Kakine did not have the genetic reconstruction of his body, yet he had heard many stories of Mana's own regeneration. He was at a disadvantage in more than one way, and he was struggling to think of a way to escape it.

"What the fuck are you saying? Angel? Bullshit, no such title would fit me. Even if you're classifying me as such, there is no way such a thing would be true. You don't know me at all!" Not a word Kakine spoke was a lie, but rather... he did not know himself. This mysterious power manifested inside of him wasn't something he believed to be Angelic like his brother Shadin or Truth. Yet it was angelic, Mana had observed such a power before, so her suddenly becoming so perky and happy couldn't have been a cover up, right? She was constantly speaking about the chance to crush 'another angel', yet the Yuudeshi couldn't help but grow more irritated every time she opened those lips of hers. Yet this was the least of his problems, he couldn't afford to get side tracked into the thought of angelic nature. The darkness around them was thick, however nothing compared to what was to come. A rift appeared before his eyes, darkness expanded around him and his eyes widened hastily. He could feel the very oxygen in the air being sucked into this void, buildings and even bodies being collapsed upon. This wasn't all, but as his body was slowly forced into this terrifying land scape, he could hear... laughter. Not laughter of friends after telling a bad joke... but rather not of children. Demonic in tone and rushing from all around him like a shock wave of power erupting with no hint of dying down.

Reaching forward, the back of his palms would be facing towards each other, and by the time the shock wave hit his general position, both hands were pulled apart; using his reiatsu and angelic energy as a catalyst, he was able to literally tear a rift open in the sound wave coming towards him. Yet as he did this, expending a lot of his built up breath to do so, he began to notice as the air was quickly becoming taken away. With a gasp, Kakine felt that this feeling was akin to suddenly being pushed underwater during a big inward gasp for air. He could feel his entire body going numb as there was very, very little oxygen getting to his lungs. Thoughts raced through Kakine's mind, his cybernetic brain processing millions of thoughts at once as he finally came to one final conclusion. It normal circumstances, if he created an area filled with oxygen with his power, he could continue the fight like normal. However, that wasn't the case. If he simply forged this oxygen out of thin air, it is likely it would just be sucked right back out again. Rather... he had to create a sustainable source of constantly refreshing oxygen he could breathe.

Stretching out his body as the tainted earth, screams of agony and intense heat grew every more obvious, he sucked in what oxygen he could and simply emptied his thoughts. Tuning out as much of his surroundings as he could, a bright and white light flushed over around a ten kilometre area. From here, a very own and unique atmosphere began to surround this new area. From here, huge bodies of water and portions of land and trees began to grow from thin air. Kakine was literally... creating his own eco-system within a small portion of Hell summoned into the Northern District. The most he could do was make this place sustainable to fight on, so even as he sped up the photosynthesis rate, he spawning large portions of carbon dioxide as a result of the plants and trees. Within moments, a gasp of air was taken in and he bent over in agony, finally being able to breath normally. Although this was a dangerous thing, if Mana decided to destroy this sudden area of sustainability, it would go back to very little oxygen. For this reason, he stood ready to repair the surroundings as he saw fit. Although this was a major creation on his part, whether he could sustain it wasn’t even the problem, it was that creating a compressed eco-system in which he could survive took a whole lot of focus and energy. So even as he exerted this intense amount of energy and formed a miniature atmosphere around the two, he could be seen breathing heavily as he tried to refill his lungs full of oxygen.

He could feel his wings beginning to fade, the intense force of Hell being summoned onto the plane of Demon World was working it’s way into his body and trying to destroy the angelic presence. But Kakine would refuse to be thrown aside by such an easy tactic of ridding his angel state’s presence, the Yuudeshi was rather… stubborn like that. Never the less, his wings shook heavily, and as Hell’s influence attempted to crush the purification, a bright, white, light shot out over the entire district of Northern Naraka Saraka. Many demons that stood within this purifying light would find their bodies crumbling or even vanishing from existence, purifying their entire bodies. ”I refuse to be shut down by your stupid tactics! I don’t know what you think I am, nor do I care. I’m not going to lose to someone like you, I’d rather die.” Even as he said these words, forces crept into his brain. Like a wild virus destroying his mind, this put visions of death, plague and the end in his mind. However the hallucinations he was under weren’t him viewing the fear of his own death, but he saw his brothers. The weak remnants of his damaged angel wings curls around him into a ball.

Sitting within this ball of armored wings, his eyes were held wide open as tears began to roll down his face. At first they were clear tears of water, but after a few moments - these clear tears turned into red blodges of blood. As they rolled down his pale face, the visions he saw were the destruction of his family. He wasn’t one to care about the exploits of others, he didn’t care if anyone else died, as long as his family was safe. That is what he lived for. Kakine Yuudeshi, the man so fabled for being uncaring and self absorbed, had his true nature flashed before his eyes. The nature of wanting to protect the ones he loved, even if it meant his life was thrown away. Yet as he sat in this ball of armor, his mind was blank, not even reacting as the chains of red and black knocked him around like a ping-pong ball. It crashed against the wings with great force, after a few hits being shattered instantly. A burst of white aura filled the air as this happened. The chains of madness didn’t stop, however. Once shattered, his body was lashed multiple times. The spikes jammed into his skin in some areas, whilst others were deflected by what remained of his cybernetic shielding. Blood spewed out of his wounds as large crevasses of body tissue was torn open, it strained his already dark red/maroon suit and even stained portions of his hair temporarily red. Whilst the damage was being nulled by his cybernetic shielding, not even that could hold the intense force of ALL the chains.

Yet whilst this occurred, Kakine did not feel a single thing. Even so, he did not care. The world was black to him. It reminded him of being forced inside of that Dark Kakine, the being that he and Shadin had used their combined efforts to unite. He thought he was past this feeling. That he would never have to experience it again. With a clench of his fist and the gritting of his teeth, his mind wandered back to when he was forced into the darkness during the Australian War in late 2413… he thought about how similar this felt. Though his visions were landing upon the death of his family within this darkness, he knew how to emerge from such a thing. His mind was being hacked at, he felt his will power being eaten away… yet he clenched his fist even tighter and stopped the tears of blood leaking from his eyes. From within the static like noise of this void, the AIM energy within his body would suddenly pick up once again, the reiatsu also stabilizing, then peaking to breaking points as a dark crimson aura, mixed with a white purification circled his entire body.

”THE YUUDESHI’S WILL POWER… WILL OVERCOME ANYTHING!!”

With a burst of white energy, the white wings of his angelic presence appeared once again. Yet this wasn’t the only thing to happen. The chains that were constantly lashing at his body, ripping open his skin, would most likely be blown away from his body. His right arm was stretched out in front of his figure, in his hand? The tip of the black spear crafted by Mana. The tip was piercing the palm of his hand, and for a moment blood began to leak from the wound, however, clenching his fist around the shaft -- shards of darkness filled the air as the spear disappeared into thin air. The Creator of Nothing wasn’t free of her influence, not by a long shot, he could still feel the turmoil and virus like thoughts eating away at his insides. ”Trying to trap me in a void such as that will not work. I’ve faced and overcome those feelings before, and I won’t let your stupid plights force me to be entrapped again.” He could feel the influence of her creeping into his mind, and the large slashes of wounds over his body made him initially cringe. Yet within the blink of an eye, the damage to his skin, the wounds would be closed over and the chunks of flesh that were removed were replaced, stopping the blood from leaving his body. Atop of this, his torn up clothes would also be renewed in an instant, as if no damage had ever occurred to the torn up areas. Though, the pain had not vanished. Even though his flesh had been reconstructed and replaced, pain still echoed through his body and Mana’s influence was eating away at his mind, still managing to see slight visions. This is going to be troublesome… The brown haired male sighed to himself.

He had exhausted himself quite a bit creating that ecosystem and even breaking out of the entrapment, yet he would refuse to quit. That wasn’t the man he was brought up as. It seemed Mana had underestimated the willpower that the Yuudeshi family was capable of showing. So as the sigh closed, the remaining spirits and demons surrounding the two would have instantly found their insides being incinerated. Why was this? When beings of this level showed up, he could use the power of his True CreationConstruction to warp the properties, replace the very essence of what make’s up their bodies. By swapping out their core structure, Kakine could replace that said structure with a similar one, however introducing the idea of Hell Fire into it. Within moments, the spirits burst into flames and for miles on end, flames surrounded the Asthavon and Yuudeshi. Kakine, however, could still be seen twitching slightly from her influence, yet he couldn’t stop, not now.

Within the blink of an eye, he would dash forward, using his wings to force a thrust backwards, pushing him forward. By the time he would reach the Queen of Demons position, he would be on his toes and ready to dodge her attacks or chains, he would tilt his body to the left, the twenty metre long wings on his right side would uncurl and in one big swoop, send out a slash akin with the force of a nuclear bomb behind it. By using this swing, he would also pore endless amounts of his purification into the attack. If this made contact, it is likely even Mana would be blown away by the pure intense force which would be arced in a triangle shape. However, he wouldn’t stop. The wings on his back began to vanish for a moment, and as he did this, he would use his intense speed to keep close to Mana’s body. This way, if she tried to use her chains or attacks on a large scale, he could risk blowing herself away; and he could use a method he was brilliant at, hand to hand combat. Within a few seconds, a gauntlet with three blades curled around the knuckles would appear over his right hand. At blindingly fast speeds, five punches would be shot out. The first one aimed into her face, the following three to the gut and the final one aiming to slice her ankle by using shunpo to appear at the backside of her body - in an attempt to stop her movements. Even if these didn’t land, he had another technique hidden up his sleeve.
Entering another shunpo, Kakine appeared right in the path of his triangle shaped explosive force he used earlier. However, something was different.

”Reflect the essence of Nothing, Kyuukyoken”

A new entity appeared! Standing by his side, a smirk crossed this woman’s face. This woman was Kyuukoken, or Benkei to Kakine. The brown haired Yuudeshi had activated his shikai! Although, as of this moment, it wasn’t being used in conjunction with his angel state. He had to save such things for key moments, instead of letting the entirety of Hell purify it and make him useless. So as he appeared in the path of this explosive force, a transparent force would appear and reverse all energy that came from the force, directing it right back at Mana’s position. This wasn’t all, however, using his intense speed, he would constantly be moving behind and around, reversing the energy and directing it towards Mana. Reversing these energetic pulses, if Mana hadn’t found a way out, she would find herself being constantly hit with a barrage of angelic purification and intense force akin to nuclear strikes. The power of each hit would fade over time, however the first ten or so hits would be enough to obliterate most opponents -- however Mana wasn't most opponents. Stopping his constant shunpos, he came to a half around a hundred or so metres away from his intense destruction, constant deep breaths exhaling from his body, twitching still and feeling rather weakened from her assault. Gritting his teeth, however, he continued on. He refused to give up. So he steadied his body as he felt large drops of sweat roll down his forehead and over his entire body. He had an intense migraine growing in his mind from her influence. He was at a disadvantage here. Perhaps showing his wings, or what she called ‘Angel’ side, was the worst idea he could have come up with. Never the less, the past was the past.

”Heh… This explains a lot of things… But I won’t be corrupted by the likes of you. I don’t care about you giving me a purpose to live, I have the only reason I’ll ever need. And you refreshed that memory for me. My family. So you better kill me, otherwise I’m going to rip off that pretty little face of yours, whether it be today or ten years from now. Nobody threatens my family. Tch… You’re so fucking pretentious. Talk yourself up more.” Standing next to Benkei, he would look at her and nod softly, a soft smile being exchanged in return. Twisting his hands around into a cup like shape, hundreds of thousands of spears, swords, anything with the ability to pierce skin, would be accumulated around the entirety of her body. He still felt as if this world was black, but until he found a way to escape it, he had to keep fighting. Saving his angelic wings until he needed them and fight. Fight against the decay of his mind and defeat one of his most powerful enemies yet. Clenching his fist, the sword, spears, pillars, large sharp corners of buildings that were even up to ten metres thick, would suddenly shoot down towards Mana. Like a homing beacon, these piercing objects would track the target until they were all destroyed. Not only this, but if she was hit by one of them? The Queen of Demons could very well find her insides burning and being incinerated, using the same technique of property swapping he did with the spirits surrounding them earlier.

Spitting out a wad of blood, he straightened his vision from being drawn off and let his cybernetic brain analyse everything around him, including how and when would be the best opportunities to rid himself of this mental trauma, as well as attack his opponent. It analysed everything, a million thoughts going per second.

”You fucking hurt, though… I’ll give you that.”

Like explosions in the night, the collision of Kakine and Mana's energies smashed against each other with unrelenting force and brought the whole of The Northern District for a ride. The two were tapping further and further inward into their collective powers. The Yuudeshi let forth the holy energies of an Angel, while Mana birthed satanic auras into the world like the true demon she was. So it was only natural that the area around them would get tossed aside, blown to smithereens and used as nothing more than a playground for these two giants of battle. "Oh? Were you only there because of your brother? I somehow doubt that coming from a Yuudeshi." Speaking over the catalyst bangs of destruction that roared out throughout the landscape, Mana's voice seemed filled with doubt as she believed that the Yuudeshi Clan in general always yearned for a fight. It was within their blood after four centuries of funding themselves on nothing but brute strength, hostile takeovers and using their powers as a means to enforce their will -- much like The Demon Queen's own rise to power. So in a way -- they were more similar than different in the mind of Mana.

Nevertheless, as she observed the wings of the halo-boy go into work, it was clear they were similar in defensive strength as Mana's own horns were. See? The identical mechanics between the two fighters were all but showing up even on a physical level. Kakine had wings of wonder that could protect him from harm, and Mana had her horns forged in sinister magic ready and willing to gorge and pierce through anything that got in it's way! It was all quite wonderful to watch these comparisons play out on different sides of the field. Despite that, it was a shame that the man didn't understand just what he was. As from the way he described himself? It seemed as if The Demon Queen knew more about poor fellows powers than The Creator of Nothing did on his own.

"Well, just understand that the frequency of your powers appear to be harmonized in an identical pattern as Truth himself. Even if you refuse to accept it, if you Yuudeshi's pride yourself on knowledge, I'm sure it would be in your best interest to learn a little more about those wings, Angel-Boy." Speaking with a smirk behind her face and a cocky tone behind her voice, Mana watched as Kakine then began to suffocate under the detrimental pull of Hell's glow on his body. As with any pesky holy force, the pure energy radiating within The Yuudeshi's body was all but beginning to crumble under the weight of Hell's daunting grip. This proved to her that the power flowing within him was all but genuine. A phoney-angel would not subbcome in such a effortless way to this force. So it pleased her to taint, corrupt and break those precious little feathers of the semi-divine Kakine.

Observing him suffer and fallover from all the satanic forces bombarding his body, it was clear that the male still needed oxygen to breathe. Hearing his gasp for breath begin to echo out into the air around them caused a mischievous, yet nervous grin to come across her face. Being that most of Demon Kind, or those who had any business in hell, often did not need to breathe to sustain their existence -- an idea was coming to mind. Perhaps it would be easier to win this fight through removing the oxygen within the range of battle to suck the life right out of the male. Holding her right arm in the air as a means to signal her attack, Mana spread many of her reishi throughout the area. In this way, she'd seek to eat away at the bonds that made breathing possible for the dear boy.

Through usage of her DE Force's breakdown functions, this was all but a basic task to undergo. At the cost of eating away at her energy, the air needed for Kakine would be reduced to nothing. In performing that act, he'd either have to become forced to suffocate or fall back from the city the vile plan went according to plan. In the meantime, more burst of green light exploded throughout the ten kilometer range. This was the act of disintegrating all the matter that compromised his fragile ecosystem with her corruption. From the water, to the trees and the plants in between; all it was meant to be sent into a cold oblivion in the wake of hell's power invigorating every pathway of Mana's body and giving her ripe volumes of energy to make Kakine's defeat and corruption a reality.

Sensing that his wings were quivering with pain to sustain themselves in such a nightmarish realm, the fear that once filled her every waking body was easing. Sure Mana was sweating, her arms trembling and face still quite shaky behind the mask of her false-bravado in the midst of her anxieties. However, in spite of these terrors, the overwhelming odds of her winning this battle still seemed great in her mind. If she could break him, trample upon those wings and send another fraction of Truth's self back to the Earth as a bloodied mess -- it would be worth all the trouble, pain and agony involved with birthing such a wonderful outcome into existence through her actions. "Win or lose, I am going to ensure you leave this place unlike the way you came. Heh, I know you can feel the same dismay as myself as our different, yet oh-so-similar souls mesh against one another."

When finished making her half-confident, half-panicked speech; a weak smirk came to her face. Soon after that point a green aura enveloped the woman's body. From it sparked forth bolts of bio-electricity to twirl around The Demonic Queen as her own life force came to a jitter. The dread was still very much alive within her, but she was going to need to press forward to get any sort of headway in this battle. Watching her chains, spears and energies rip into Kakine's body and force him into a state of bloodied tears seemed to prove at least she was making a dent in him. Yet, in spite of that, there was something ominous growing within the boy that soon made The Demoness jump out of shock and yelp out from surprise.

A burst of his white energy managed to slam itself against Mana during the wake of his explosion of power and her skin started melting as a result. It caused an agonized scream to roar out from the Queen before she created a makeshift barrier. This shield was comprised of a dense collection of demonic energy meant to vaporize the sudden release from causing anymore harm to her. In the meantime, she snarled and groaned as her regeneration felt pained and slowed in the wake of sustaining such injuries from him. It was akin to feeling your entire dipped in lava, hit with a meteor and then compressed into a void of nothingness that was a blackhole. While she faced many angelic-based opponents in the past, due to the fact that Kakine's own power almost matched her own, the amount of angelic energy had been enough to make a noticeable dent.

By the grace of her maddening element, Mana's pain suppression went to work like clockwork and did what it could to null this smoldering sensation that gripped her body. While, at the same time, the open holes in her body ranging from her jaw, arms, chest and legs restored themselves and thus mended back to top form. Gritting her teeth throughout this process, a twitch of the eye came about from The Demoness as she loathed the male at this point; but still felt she needed to maintain her cool throughout this. Now wasn't the time to make mistakes of the past in the present. Her mind needed to undistracted if she were going to fight through another Angel.

"You've faced the void and lived to tell the tale through your clan's willpower? Tch, how cliche...I knew you'd spawn some sort of heroic line like that." Breathing in a somewhat labored manner throughout those words and sounding rather pained while spewing them, the atmosphere of this fight was beginning to become overwhelming for both fighters. So much so that any mortal soul in sight not equipped for this type of conflict would have seen themselves reduced to a liquefied pile of goo from the intensity in which these two were fighting at. In fact, that's just what happened! Kakine managed to kill off some of the demonic spirits that became ensnared under Mana's maddening power. For miles on end many of The Queen's newfound followers met an unforeseen demise and soon diminished to nothing more than a pile of ash. Of course, not all of them suffered the fate of death thanks to pieces of The Empresses aura being within them. But a rough estimate of two to three fourths of a fraction of her forces decreased. In that way, Kakine was making headway in craving his way into the entrails of Mana's soul and it made her further unnerved by this display of power.

Yet, there would not be much time to indulge in this unsteady nature. For in the blink of an eye? The Yuudeshi was already on the move! Keeping track of his movements with the utmost observation skills, the adrenaline that was pumping inside of Mana from her increased heart rate and alert mind were going to be the key in keeping her body from dwindling to a bloody pulp because of the angelic aura screaming from within the male. The first thing that Mana saw heading towards her was the slash from Kakine's colossal wings. Eyes widening from atsohinemnt with how much force was behind that blow, The Demon Queen decided it was in her best interest to dodge this attack.

Thus, an acceleration of energy was mass-produced within her. Following that moment? The sub-atomic manipulation of her body began. Every molecule that compromised Mana's body broke itself down and scattered in a black mist as she missed the attack by a few milliseconds. So these actions proved that every second that passed in this fight like this was but an eternity for it's combatants to scheme and devise counters, defenses and offensive moves at one another. By being successful in her endeavour to dodge, Kakine would find himself wasting time and energy punching thin air. For even if he were quick on his feet, when The Demoness broke herself down to such a microscopic level? She could cover great distances in a short amount of time.

Appearing in an approximate distance of two hundred meter outside the range of Kakine's attack, the futile nature of his attacks may rise to the surface once the plume of smoke settled. The area he purified may have reversed itself back to it's uncorrupted state, but Mana's body would be no where to be found for the first few seconds following that carters development. Instead? She'd be higher up in the skies panting as she made her narrow escape from meeting a grim fate. Wiping away the sweat from her own face, this battle against The Yuudeshi was beginning to become more pressing by the second. If she didn't figure out a way to make the boy break and fall into unconscious, she was certain a more grave energy would be inflicted upon herself from all of the holy power within him being wielded in such a sparic and will manner. Although, with her heightened state of fear, this may or may not have been an overestimation of his abilities. Only time would divulge that much.

And on time's dime? There wouldn't be much room to idly stand around. For at a breakneck pace, Kakine was already going back on the attack and HAD hundreds of spears and pointed objects lock to Mana's energy signature. Sucking her teeth out of distaste for such actions, The Manic Ruler had no choice but to make Unchained Madness move into action once again. Still having tens of thousands of chains on the field, all it took was The Demon Queen's mental influence and a bit of energy to suspend the the objects in midair at the speed her weapon moved. Of course, due to their overwhelming angelic influence, the chains that did bind them seemed to turn to cinders as both of their holy and satanic forces canceled each other out and left nothing in the wake of such a clash of powers.

"...so you pack a punch as well."

Letting out a heavy sigh, it was clear if the two of them kept using their angelic and demonic influences that more neutralizations would occur. That was just the nature of dealing with a battle of Angel's and Demon's. Therefore -- something more drastic was going to have to arise to the surface. Through her mastery of energy, Mana was able to convert most of the demonic and satanic elements that brew within her into a raw force of energy that was neutral in it's alignment. In this way? Her attacks would not become countered in the same simplistic manner from this point onward by Kakines's angelic force. Of course it may still very well harm her body, the actual strikes launched from herself would prove to not yield to his holy and purifying attributes any longer.

So on that note, imagery of Kakine's soul chain started to dance around in the walls of Mana's mind. Despite the fact he managed to rid a good deal of The Queen's influence from his being, there was still enough of her aura within him to make a useful little maneuver. Inside -- Kakine would feel his internals beginning to become set a fire. His mind may go blank, body fall limp to paralysis and the very wealth of energy that radiated within him may see itself depleted to the point of forcing Kakine back into his base form. Mana wasn't going to aim to destroy it, there wasn't enough of her power inside of him to do that. Nay. The Demoness was aiming to strain it, crack it and cause short to long term damage in the form of inducing pressure to it and inflicting damage upon it with her ability to manipulate the soul. By doing this Kakine was sure to have his supply of energy lower, pain radiate throughout his every being and the damage done to his body would push this battle closer to the edge of becoming a done deal. It also yielded with it the potential to outright block his Bankai from taking such critical injuries to his Zanpakutō and Soul at the same time.

"It's funny that you reflect the essence of nothing when I wield the power of the void within my grasp. In a way....I should dictate the flow of your life. After all, your nature is one that aibes to my will." Cackling to herself with great delight, the time for her offense had came. Not too long after those words echoed out would Kakine feel the sensation of his muscles becoming gnawed at. The crippling force of Mana's energy had been eating The Yuudeshi from the inside out to break down and dismantle the tissues, tendons and bones within the body of The Creator of Nothing. By making this sneak attack she had the intention of making him fall face first to his knees and losing his ability to move around in such a liberated manner with the speed he did earlier. Together with claps of thunderous pains tearing at his being, his mind may very well become blurred, reddened and distract with ample volumes of burning, ripping and stabbing sensations covering the whole of his body.

"I'll make you regret ever threatening my person with a death you can't ever hope to claim. In retribution for crimes against the Queen, I will be sure break that smug attitude of yours, human, angel or whatever else you want to call yourself. So brace thyself for the end." Wasting no time getting into action, Mana was already moving on to her next move in this battle. The heavens themselves soon became devoured by a bright burst of green light that radiated a daunting amount of power. For it seemed as if existence itself was cracking and shattering like glass to the ground beneath them. And following that moment? An earth-shattering sound that silenced all else for miles on end hollered out into the landscape and neutralized all current attacks on the field that weren't originated from Mana. Kakine himself may even feel himself becoming forced back by this absurd force of power.

"Grievous Cycle Of The Unknown:

Awaken"

In those raspy, low and ominous sounding wounds; the next stage of this fight was sure to begin with a definite bang. In a banshee-like scream, blobs of nothingness broke through the city landscape and started obliterating everything into a void shadow. Living organisms, matter and reishi themselves were all turn to sunder and left to rot in the wake of such a chaotic power that broke into Naraka Sahara. It spread throughout all four of the districts and was seeking to send the depths of Hell City into a cold oblivion. Thus, the fabric of reality around them was melting at the seams and now reduced -- to nothing.

Meanwhile, all around Kakine would the foundations of the space around him begin to destabilize and cause disastrous results for him. For roughly ten miles around The Yuudeshi? A sponstarious and sudden wave of destruction was had. This wasn't an energy attack, nor was it a satanic-based one. In a straight-lined wave of emerald fire expanding for five miles in width, Mana sought to wipe out and eliminate the bases of the universe around him. If caught in this wave of eradicating power? Kakine faced grievous injuries to his person.

While a feasible outcome, the chances of him becoming broken down and reduced to nothing weren't high. However, the lasting impact of this attack seemed direct itself towards first in vaporizing any trace of his spiritual or any unclassified energy within him to cripple him of supernatural attacks to use. At the least, the male should have complications utilizing his abilities from this point onward. All the while, on a physical level, Kakine was more than posed to see a further decrease in performance. His defenses, stamina, speed, strength and even ability to think and process information would be critically impaired by the expunging effects of this abolishing attack. Sure, they'd come back to him in due time -- due time after this battle that is.

The finale piece of the cake in Kakine's spiral of pain would be that his entire body may become broken to bits with the amount of force that rained down upon his body. Limbs could be severed, bones broken in the blink of an eye, organs raptured and the potential for a blackout was more than probable in this outpouring of power. To put things further in prospective? The scale of these attacks were comparable to the late General Yamamoto's Bankai being released. This all but spelled a new and frightening level of combat unveiled for this battle with Mana now using half of her power in the pursuit of breaking Kakine down.

And without missing a beat, The Demoness had already set into motion a plan to get her defenses in order on the off-chance Kakine was able to come back from such a critical blow. Taking the shape of an atom, many lines of black and emerald green light swirled around Mana's body like a shield of sorts. There were opens to hit her, yes, but this technique meant to destabilize most material that it came into contact with. Should a fist collide with it? The likelihood of that hand becoming reduced to flesh and bone were nothing out of the spectrum of possibility. Should a magic based attack slam into it? The possible outcome of it's effectiveness being broken down was all in the realm of probability. It took quite the bit of energy to sustain -- but with the amount of power overflowing around and within her? She could take it for the time being.

Bulging veins sprouting forth from her eyes and body with the amount of effort vested into these attacks, Mana simultaneously ensured the protection of her allies and comrades alike. Throughout every square inch of Hell City would Mana's energy seem to envelop itself around those fighting behind her. They'd be shielded from the effects of her attack, but also given a great boost in power in order to enhance their abilities, further their stamina and turn the tables on those now doing battle in this war. However, with it, she'd signal for all those doing battle to wrap things up in their respective fights. As all districts of Naraka Sahara were beginning to become vaporized into the vast nothingness of the void, Mana was now aiming to put an end to this war with the amount of force she was throwing around at this point.

Establishing a massive form of telepathic communication to all active forces on the ground, Mana let her voice be heard throughout the minds of all those doing combat in the area. Rather they be enemy, ally or neutral alike. It was time for the gears of wars to be thrusted into high gear and speed up the colossal battle towards the climax to deliver the hefty blow that would end this spat if her will was not stopped. Thus, in a cynical, yet nonchalant tone -- Mana would begin delivering her message far and wide throughout the districts of Hell City.

'My darlings, I'm not going to waste your precious times with details. All I am going to ask is that you pay attention to your surroundings and know that this city's demise is all but an inevitability. You can lolligag if you want in your fights, but I'm ending this war as the impudence these mortals possess to rebel against The Queen's Law is all but futile. Just be a sweet thing....and don't waste my gift. Let us make merry in the blood of these fools.'

Ending the speech with but a giggle, Mana eyes started to bleed a green fluid from them as she took heavy breaths of air attributed to with unleashing such an apocalyptic sized attack on the metropolis and feeling such crippling levels of fear and joy at the prospect of being one step closer to crushing that angel-boy. All of her assets were being put into place and she was hoping to make that lasting mark to put the final nail in the coffin with this war. Pointing her hand to the skies above them, the waves of green light in the sky soon grew to eclipse the whole of the city and represent the beginning of their end at the hands of The Demon Queen.

Flashing back to imagery of destructive scenes played out throughout the history of Demon World, Saburo City, The Great City of London, Madness City, The Capital Of Malaysia and so many other wars like it waged by The Queen; this was going to be yet another defining moment in her career as she summoned a cycle in seal not yet seen before. She was not quite at the level of strength she was in her battle for Malaysia that was waged against Hanako Yadomaru. But neither was she on a spectrum of power as she was in London where The Demoness was weaker than that point in Malayasia. Thus, Kakine would be a new experiment in the mix to test out this unforeseen stage in her power and she'd hope to make a lasting impression on him because of it.

"So....let's see that will you were talking about, boy." And with those final words spoken, all that was left to do was watch the spectacle take places. As the world around them turned to nothingness, the clash of The Demon Queen And The Yuudeshi Leader reached it's apex.
