The cold morning breeze swamped the Shinsui Settlement. It was quite and thus not a sound could be heard nor could anyone be seen. The sun began ascending from behind the horizon while the wind currents slowly settled and the warmth embrace the Zero District of the settlement. The merchants of the other districts began to awake alongside their kin and wealth, some awoke later than others but none slept past noon. The large tower like Manor that laid in the center of the settlement was magnificent in both architecture and sheer size; from here the whole district was visible which gave a mesmerizing and peaceful view. The man who had founded the clan who governed this Settlement sat before a large, seemingly endless table. He was indulging on a local delicacy; it was a special combination of eggs and spices cooked in unique oil which gave it mouthwatering flavors. The man sat there eating with the sounds of chirping birds and the awakening wild life to comfort him, the sound of cutlery was the only thing that could be heard throughout the dining hall; he had been up early. Today was a rather different day for Izanagi, with the passing of the Australian incident; he was at ease and thus decided to determine the strength of two of his children: Yozora and Izanami.
A maid walked into the large hall but was almost instantly instructed to wake the duo and order them to travel the training grounds. The duo were different in their own way, he had looked over both of them since birth and even though he couldn’t quite spend the time he wanted with them he still loved them all equally. His eyes surveyed the plate as he realized that he had finished, he had drifted into a thought. The maid was once shown the location of the training grounds, though his children were not. She would direct them toward it and the training would begin. He smiled gently as he carefully moved his chair back prior to standing to his feet; when there he didn’t waste any time and thus placed the knife and fork into the plate; light began to revolve around the plate and the cutlery, within moments it was transported to the kitchen which saved the Maid some additional hassle. Izanagi wasn’t in haste so he took time to thank the Maids prior to walking out of the two large double doors that led to the Manor Garden.
There was a pathway which lit up as Izanagi walked on it which was unusual as it nothing took place when others walked along it. The light that resonated from his body healed and nurtured the plants and animals within the garden. His black hair blew back and forth as the trees began to part and lead to a secluded underground training facility; for the meantime, the facility would be open for his children to enter but the moment they reached they entered it would slam shut preventing escape. It sounded harsher than it was, he didn’t directly mean escape, it was a spiritual mechanism and it simply shut for the well-being of the surroundings. It was several tens of meters underground and the Kido that held the shaft together prevented any spiritual pressure from escaping, it also absorbed all powers that struck it which made sure that no excessive structural damage was dealt to the area.
Yozora, was the complete opposite to Izanami. Some even deemed them as a personified juxtaposition; it was something that Izanagi could notice. It seemed that his departure to the Zero Division drastically effected his daughter’s development and up to the day she received Cerberus she was both rebellious and fairly sadistic. The large majority of maids had cuts on them last Izanagi checked, it was simply a small fact that he noticed while they were cooking. He was going to scold her none the less, this form of behavior was never encouraged within the household, one assumption that Izanagi always made about his daughter was that she craved attention because of the lack of it in her younger days. On the other hand, there was Yozora who wasn’t masochistic, was very respectful to those around him and recognizably stronger than Izanami. Yozora traits and abilities reminded Izanagi of him, even though his childs ascension to power wasn’t as catalyzed as his own it would soon be. He wasn’t being arrogant, he believed that every individual no matter how weak or strong possessed the same potential to succeed and improve hence why he never gave up on anyone. To Izanagi, it was blatant that Yozora didn’t like his sister Izanami all too much; he noted that he kept his distance from her because of her sadistic personality but he also noted that Yozora regularly ventured off on his own missions and travels around the Soul Society.
As Izanagi entered the underground facility, the Kido that had been set up inside began enlightening the whole area. The walls began to diverge away from Izanagi as the whole room became larger; it was ready to receive the wrath of his children. Today was a test of numerous things. Today was the day where some of that masochism would be trained out of Izanami: today was the day that Izanagi determined the strengths and weaknesses of his children: today was the day that Izanagi has looked forward to for a long time. It was finally time to make his children both respectful and formidable Shinigami. He found himself in the center of the training grounds and so he rotated in order to face the entrance and await their arrival. They would be greeted with a gentle smile, the light around Izanagi made him seem somewhat darker as no shadows were cast within this room. As they entered, the Kido would reconstruct the scene to Izangis liking so it would either appear to be a peaceful field or a blood filled battlefield, it all depended…
