✖ It's been one amazing year on Platinum Hearts and now it's time to look back as far as you possible can; from the start of 2013 to where we are now to decide the best nominations for their Of The Year Categories. I wish the best of luck of everyone who is entered in this thing and hope to have another this time next year!

✚The Rules Section✚

1. Do NOT vote yourself. We will NOT count these votes.

2. NO VOTE RETRACTIONS! IF YOU VOTE FOR SOMEONE, PLEASE STICK WITH THAT PERSON! IF YOU HAVE A REASON TO PULL OUT? THEN YOU'D BETTER DAMN WELL STATE IT AND MAKE IT A GOOD ONE!

3. This thread will only last a maximum of one week. However, depending on outside circumstances, it can last for 3-7 days as these contest vary on how much time the staff on PH have to spend on them. So do not get pissy if we have some delays.

4. You can only vote for ONE person.

5. Do NOT make multiple accounts to vote for someone. If we catch people doing this, there will be a swift punishment waiting for you as we actively check IP's on the site.

6. PLEASE state the name and link to the character profile.

✚The Prize Section✚

First Place: The person who wins first place in Character of the Year will receive 50,000,000 yen, one tier upgrade for their character of choice (WHO IS NOT 0-2+), two new abilities in a characters app, two skill upgrades, their own PH Medal, a mention in the Of The Month Winners and Of The Year Winners thread, their image on the sidebar for the month of January and a mention in the site's Youtube.

Second Place: The person who wins runner up will receive 30,000,000 yen, one new ability in a characters app, two skill upgrades and an honorary mention in the Of The Month/Winners threads along with a 2nd place medal.

Third Place: The person who wins third place will receive 10,000,000 yen, one skill upgrade, an honorary mention in the Of The Month/Winners threads and possibly a 3rd place medal.

Okay, this is perhaps the second easiest OTY to choose. Not because the category itself was easy, but because there was one character above all by so wide a margin that it came to me first though. For the record, this character has won OTM's twice this year, and several times in the previous years as well. He is definitely a long-standing character, with an interesting development you wouldn't expect seeing him now. Every time he enters a topic you can tell that topic becomes a hundred times more exciting just because of how vivid a personality he possesses. My nomination for character of the year is Mjesec Võrgukliendid.

Usually a character needs solid Develpoment, cool skills, and knows how to punch like an extremely perverted sensei, also be a ~~manwhore~~...Well I know of one man who fits this build, and he's definitely taking a punch at a lot of people in Australia, and that man is... Sagumi Sumashuu for ~~Best Final Fantasy~~ I mean Character of the year.

I'm placing my vote for none other than Shadin Yuudeshi. Throughout the year he has shown character growth steadily, he has received multiple OTM's this year in the threads he's been apart and many COTM's, Shadin has gotten into some pretty crazy fights in the process and has ultimately given the protags of a site their chance to actually start their own invasion. It's the first time I've really seen such a thing on PH and he's changed the course of the site's history because of this whole Australia war.

So if anyone should win it, I hope Shadin does! Good luck to everyone else.

I am gonna go with Dragon Slayer, she's undergone such amazing development for me. I have had the pleasure of a fantastic RP with her and got to watch the evolution of both my own character and her. Getting to see her grow and become more then she was once upon a time, this character I believe has a bright future ahead of her and will perhaps become one of the great one's on our site.

Wolf Lionus - Has really improved over the year, I remember the tier that character was initially at and he has developed a lot even though he fucked with Shadin his come a long way this year.
