To Re-enter [Wollongong][Australia War Arc] - Page 2 Empty Re: To Re-enter [Wollongong][Australia War Arc]

Sagumi hadn’t paid much attention to the third girl that seemed to be arrayed against him, or at least arrayed near the other two. She seemed out of place there in a way that was...well...difficult for Sagumi to frame in anything resembling a polite manner. At the moment however she seemed like that awkward kid your parents invited to your birthday party without consulting you...who then proceeded to run around wiping boogers on all of your friends and generally making for a miserable night and no one understood why on Earth they were even there. Sagumi wasn’t even sure if she knew why she was there. There was one curious thing about her though and it caught even Sagumi’s attention for a moment, a short moment, but a moment. When her temper flared, the area around her changed...things started dying. Sagumi had never seen a power like that before and quite honestly, it terrified him. He never knew any humans who could do something like that, even with the wide range of powers his species was gradually developing. In fact, he didn’t know of any races who could do something so terrifying. Sagumi was, at his core, the personification of life and rebirth. He could not die without being reborn, he manipulated Chi, which in essence was the energy of life, and his personality itself was bristling with life. Even in this serious a moment, the man’s face was rather animated, full of life. The thought of a power that indiscriminately erodes the concept of life, well, that terrified him. In what was quite possibly an ironic decision, Sagumi decided that if they opportunity arose, ending her life as well would not be a poor idea.

She wasn’t the objective right now though, she might become the objective later but for now, Lilium needed to die. The strange, awkward girl was a threat, but did not yet deserve death. She’d be ignored for now. While he wasn’t very good at sensing energy, at all, he could still at least feel in some point, between the little girl and the slightly less little girl, which of the two he would need to be more aware of. So far, the one who peppered the sky with lasers seemed like the clear choice. She also seemed like the louder individual out of the two of them as, in response to a perfectly reasonable and polite request to extract herself from the area, she decided to pepper him with the language of an insubordinate and obstinate child, which he supposed was fitting given her appearance. Perhaps it wasn’t an illusion like he had originally thought with a majority of these supernatural beings. Maybe she really was just a five year old on a stage that she wasn’t mentally prepared for. That mentality was what forced Sagumi’s attention to shift slightly as he watched the barrier being erected around the city, sharing a similar energy to the laser he had just drilled through. It wasn’t anything he had ever seen before and while he was halfway listening to the girl as she rambled on about how horrible a person he was, yadda yadda, etc etc, Sagumi’s mind had drifted to what that strange energy was. It wasn’t Reiatsu, no, he had seen...and killed...enough Shinigami to be able to at least identify Reiatsu when he saw it. So that ruled out the thing being erected by an Arrancar, Hollow, or a Shinigami...and it definitely wasn’t chi, so a human probably didn’t generate it. What did he manage to get himself in to?

It was the name, the name that left the young girl’s lips that caused him to direct the brunt of his attention back at her little speech. He knew she was chastising him for the desire to kill Lilium, it’s why he didn’t bother paying attention, that and she opened up with a pretty asinine question, what else could “humans are hurt” mean, but she didn’t refer to the black tressed doll as Lilium, she called her Shisome. A small look of confusion flared across his face before being shielded by a smug smile as he saw the energy pulse out of her, the same kind that the barrier was made out of. He preferred violence to words as a means of communication to begin with, words lie, words deceive, words hide one's intentions. The impact of a word can be taken back if miscalculated. Actions were not so easy, actions were not so forgiving. Actions showed the true self simply because weight of lying was far more real and far less natural for the deceiver. He hated lies. He, perhaps thankfully for both parties involved, did not have time to respond to the little girl’s words and aggression as Lilium placed her hand in front of the girl, a sign that convinced him the strange energy she possessed was why Lilium had chosen her as her pet in this world. It didn’t matter either way, she wasn’t the target. When the target did speak...she sounded exactly like he expected her to. Not her voice itself, though that was easy to change, but the words themselves, the inflection, the tone, they were all exactly what Sagumi wanted to hear if he was going to give her a chance to live, they were the exact right words and that was obnoxiously suspicious, it made him even more sure despite the creature addressing her by what he believed a fabricated name.

It wasn’t even difficult to guess at what he wanted to hear either, he outright told her that he left the men alive, so he too wanted to avoid casualties, but even so to a degree it worked. As Lilium walked past him and the small girl, after whispering to her, started squawking again. Sagumi didn’t respond, at least for the moment. Her message hadn’t changed from her earlier demands outside of the interest in protection of the city, which was something he had no interest in contesting. Finding Lilium here was a colossal, fortuitous coincidence and the man had no interest in doing anything to the city he had chosen for a vacation. He didn’t care if Vizards, Hollows, Humans or Shinigami controlled this place, the politics of it were beyond boring to him and provided that no one was injured or hurt by the owners, Sagumi didn’t give a rats ass. What he did give a rat’s ass about was that his target was standing but a few feet away from him and was walking off, apparently with no desire to involve the other two girls in the area. Sagumi wasn’t sure if she was doing that because she genuinely did not wish pain to befall them or if she simply didn’t want them to see who she really was when Sagumi forced it out of her, for the moment Sagumi was going to assume the latter. His eyes followed the doll girl as she walked past him, his body turning to follow her. He made it a few steps before turning back around and directing his attention back at the young, blue haired girl, a cavalier smile on his face as Lilium had walked out of earshot.

“The city is yours, as long as no one gets hurt you can do what you want with this place. I only care about killing her, whatever you do here that is unrelated to that is unrelated to me. Lilium lies, and Lilium needs to die.”

Sagumi didn’t pay her another glance after that, at least not visibly. He still made sure he was aware of her movements in some capacity, in case she made good on her threat to follow them and intervene in the event Sagumi gained the upper hand or even attacked Lilium and even he could feel her energy gathering behind him at the thought of violence, but for now Sagumi didn’t react to it, he’d be ready to react if she followed through on her threats. Instead, Sagumi followed the girl they referred to as Shisome, closing the distance he missed out on to respond to the girl rather quickly before walking slowly behind her, in step, putting further distance between the pair of them and the other two women. They certainly weren’t moving at any sort of speed that would be difficult to track, but hopefully his other potential opponents chose not to pursue. He didn’t want to have to set the body count on this day to three as opposed to one and he wasn’t even sure he would have been able to kill the blue haired girl. Determination was quite a big deal and he simply didn’t have the motivation to rip her to pieces like he did with the girl before him. She hadn’t tortured him and his friends, she didn’t betray his trust, she didn’t make his life hell, she didn’t twist that little boy in to the revenge seeking creature walking in lock step behind her and while some might see the strength that blossomed out of that as a positive, being on the receiving end of it made it anything but. She crushed him, she crushed Nozomi, and she was going to die for it.

When the object of his hatred starting speaking, Sagumi didn’t show any visible signs of...well...anything. The cavalier, excitable smile that was on his usually animated face was gone and replaced with an expressionless, almost dead mask. The Sumashuu was, for all intents and purposes, listened in dead silence as Lilium told her story and it honestly seemed decently convincing. It even seemed like a goal Sagumi himself could get behind. The man’s head dropped to the ground, as if he was processing what she said, the giant mane of red hair succumbing to gravity and falling over his shoulders, genuinely masking his face from view. That was the problem though, her story made sense, her story was the kind of thing he wanted to hear, and outside of Nozomi, no one knew him better than Lilium, no one knew which buttons to push, no one knew what lies to tell quite like that witch. He was going to find the truth, even if he had to beat it out of her. If what she said was true, she wouldn’t die. If he forced the truth he was expecting out of her, well, he’d finally have his revenge.

“Lilium toys...Lilium destroys...Lilium lies...LILIUM DIES!”

The man’s head snapped back up in to focus, the very visible signs of rage painted on his face as he glared down at the form of a little girl while his spear, Gekijouyari, materialized in his right hand as the accompanying arm whipped forward, his feet pivoting in to the dirt and his waist violently twisting and generating torque, and unleashed the spear upon her at breakneck speeds, fueled by his anger and strength. The spear tip quickly zooming before the girl’s breast, aimed right down her sternum and if her current indication of spiritual strength was any indication, she wouldn’t have the inherent defenses to keep it from completely obliterating her. However, he knew, Lilium lies, what he sensed was probably nothing close to what she was actually capable of and he remained ready to move the second she so much as flinched and constantly monitored himself for any sign of a genjutsu. He was going to kill her, he was going to rip her apart, and no silly illusion was going to keep him from finally having his vengeance. Not today.

To Re-enter [Wollongong][Australia War Arc] - Page 2 BShisome3
To the soul wandering all alone
Shisome Saihossoku; Vanguard Leader ; Human; 5-1+

Enter The Adapting Doll
Do not be afraid, wandering gypsy

Indeed it was like all things were meant to happen, one after the other. The wheels were moving at a pace that was simple, and the girl, empathic, kept an eye on the emotional condition of those surrounding her. The girl had to be extremely careful, for the situation was volatile. The sheer hate, and anger rolling off the male made her weary of course, but she understood that feeling perhaps. In a way, it was a feeling she felt towards a certain person; the one that was supposed to be half of her soul, and yet was nothing more then a parasite on her life, home, and family. A parasite that destroyed things, and tore them apart in a meaningless cycle. But recalling that now.. would be harmful.

The girl that Shisome had beaten before, finally named herself. Shani Broadsword. That name sounded familiar, and perhaps Shisome's small time in the demon world had earned her enough knowledge to realize a connection between one of the vaunted bodyguards; but the list of names were not available, so it was only by rumour. With this settled in her mind, and the Iramasha busy with the other, the girl kept in touch with her various forces, checking in on them. She had perhaps a more fine tuned sensing capability then most, due to her very power's nature, and gave in small breaths. She felt insecure in some fashion. The male's emotions.. what had caused such? Was there pain like she imagined in them?

Or was that the pain of someone else near by? In any case, the childish Iramasha turned towards Shisome and talked to her more. Claiming pleasures for meeting, and a large amount of information that Shisome absorbed in a more quiet mental state. It seemed that the Himegami's words reached through easily to the Iramasha, and perhaps it was Shisome's calm logic, or patience of dealing with such attitudes due to Moonie. Speaking of, she could feel his energy, calling out to her, as if trying to reach her. Of course he would; she was the other half, and so was he. Although Cirno seemed confused about Shisome's lack of defenses, it was probably because she knew that the Iramasha would intervene, having felt the energy of the other.

What Cirno possibly did not expect, is that the moment the Iramasha sync was sent, and the suggestion barely left her mouth, as Shisome's presence would be felt in the network. In fact, it was surprising it had not been felt before, but for now she could manage the communication aspect; her Iramasha abilities were still unstable for some parts, but the communications was simple. 'You need not my permission for I am already one of your kind.' she said within the network, to Cirno directly, allowing her to continue in the physical plane without interruptions to her sequence. This allowed Shisome to hear further communications, and such, keeping tabs on the Iramasha forces herself. As more words were exchanged, Shisome's focus began to come exclusively on the male.

He was familiar. The presence, the feeling. It felt much like someone she had once knew; but she also understood it was not herself, but rather the prescence that tried to eat at her mind. 'Now calm Cirno. He may be irritating to you, but I would suggest to focus on your task to helping the city; if he does wish to fight me, then I will protect the area myself, and contain the issues. I do not think he is seeking to destroy the city, but rather the death of me, or someone similar.' she said within the Iramasha bond, trying to soothe Cirno before she leaped into action. For if it was just a personal target, Shisome would carry that weight on her shoulders, and nothing more.

Moving along with her actions, she did note the control of Shani's energies; and noted that she had those capabilities already herself, but the very sensing of it was hard for even the gifted kind. As she had moved away, she noted that the male spoke to the girl behind her, before following Shisome; leaving the two others to deal with their things as needed, as Shisome and Sagumi would then be in the right area. He listened to her; which was something she could feel. But his.. dark emotions did not subside. So she had not been surprised when he would end up attacking her; what had actually caught Shisome off-guard, were the words.

The name that rang from his lips chilled her blood. Around her body, like a natural defense, gravity turned into a dense wall, crushing the spear's offense. A protective shield, using a crushing force, that would destroy what came within it; and with a burst of wind, she sent it flying away. But the damage was done; the word, cursed one, had rung into Shisome's ears. Her face showed an emotion; slack jawed surprise, her red eyes wide. And then, suddenly as the surprise, something twisted; an expression on the generally expressionless doll's face. Something akin to the very feelings that the male held inside of him currently; the twisted mirror of his emotions reflected on her face, the very emotion looking nearly out of place.. but nothing rang false.

''How.'' her voice said, quiet. But then her eyes, furious, stared at him. ''HOW DO YOU KNOW OF THAT FUCKING BITCH.'' she yelled. ''ARE YOU ONE OF HER FUCKING TOYS? ARE YOU ANOTHER ONE OF HER TORTURES?'' the emotion in that voice was unnatural. Like a dam was inside of her, shattering. With a ripple, the area shone; a barried had been made, that nobody could come in or out of. She had sealed the two away from the very touch of anyone else, using something that few would understand; a barrier of pure Order. But something else was inside of her, squirming, clawing; she could not hold onto the teneous control she had already. ''WHO THE FUCK ARE YOU, TO CALL ME, TO INDENTIFY BY THAT FUCKING PSYCOTIC WHORE'S NAME? HOW DARE YOU EVEN INSINUATE THAT I AM RESSEMBLING OF HER? SHE KILLED MY ENTIRE FAMILY AND YET YOU STROLL IN HERE, PRETENDING I AM HER? FOR WHAT? A SELFISH NEED FOR SELF GRATIFYING REVENGE? FUCKING CHILD.'' the girl yelled again, her voice already getting hoarse.

She didn't even attack the male, even as her hands and arms were shaking. The Iramasha sync on her side communicated none of her feelings, however, there was one that would feel this emotion, like a burning sun. For this was the first time that Shisome lost her temper, so near Moonie. The ripples of the very anger was moving a tempest on the inside of her. ''JUST BECAUSE SHE WAS BORN MY TWIN SISTER DOES NOT MEAN YOU CAN PUT ME IN HER LOT.'' she yelled again, finding nothing more to say. But then something, inside, jerked. The girl let out a gasp, feeling a huge amount of pain, as something dug inside of her. Growing limp for a few moments, she then let out a soft, gentle giggle; one all too familiar to the male before her.

''For one to even open the door inside
It had to be quite a surprise
But worry not, for despite the danger
Thou art nothing but a stranger.

Or should it be spoken as a nostalgic face
Something that cannot be named by time or place
Speak, unwilling accomplice to this plan
And the hand might just be given.''

The way of speech, the sudden roll of her body. Lilium had found her entry into Shisome's mind; and Sagumi, even with crummy sensing abilities, would be able to tell the difference right away. The energies were different as night and day; and what's more, is that Shisome's energy was relatively weak seeming, but shifting, whilst Lilium's was perhaps back amongst when they first met, as Genins. It was immature, and someone that had lived as long as Sagumi, he would note that. But Lilium had access to all of Shisome's powers, and would not be able to be touched; that was the perk to this situation. The possessing twin gave her smile, that mix of a smirk and gentle touch. Maddening. Lilium knew not this male, but there was.. something. She knew him, as her mind shivered within the girl's body. She would not have long to possess the other, as Shisome's emotions were already trying to be reigned in.. but it would be enough to send this man into another hell.

The hell of knowing that he brought the one he so obviously hated back with his own hands, the guilt of knowing he put an innocent in the way of her game. Perhaps he knew that, as her smile continued, waiting for the boy's reaction, even as her energy would react with the slightest of changes from the male.. ready to show him that she was not a weak being, not within this body.

To Re-enter [Wollongong][Australia War Arc] - Page 2 Empty Re: To Re-enter [Wollongong][Australia War Arc]

Artist: TAMUSIC - Song: Lunar Clock 〜 Luna Dial - Word Count: 2340

These were certainly a turn of interesting events for the Icy Iramasha to watch transpire. Taking a glance at the first girls he addressed, Cirno started to giggle once again because of the fact she was acting so vicious over a few soft-spoken words. Honestly, in The Angel's mindset, it was nothing more than poking fun at her reactions; but she seems to have perceived it in the form of an offensive insult and thus let off an ugly form of energy that made Cirno raise an eyebrow. It felt like the vicinity around the enraged human was in the process of being disintegrated; which gave off quite the venomous and....deathly feeling that made Cirno snap her fingers internally within her mind to realize what it was. Having a flashback to the likes of her training and understanding with Izayoi when it came to the various types of energy in the world, The Angel recalled her having a sample of Death's Energy taken from a Royal Devil Iramashsa to understand it's frequency, the potent effects that it had and to be greatly on guard whenever such a power would present itself.

Snapping back into reality, while the volume of Shani's Death Energy wasn't deep in it's volume compared to The Angel, it was enough to make Cirno note this force to be cautious with.

"I think I am Cirno Iramasha and I'm giving you helpful advice to not get hurt here! Your reactions just screamed "SOMEBODY GET ME OUT OF HERE" and I reacted as such. So it's okay Reaper Lady, I think I understand what is going on here. That creepy Death Energy business is actually causing that strain on you and your mood is acting all wonky and stuff. I'd say you need to calm down before that blood becomes to angry and ends up eating you whole like a monster! I've heard terrible things about the whole reaper force, and I feel kind of worried for you now that you have such a thing living in your body, Ms.Reaper Lady."

Having uttered those words, it's clear that Cirno seemed rather genuine in nature and probably a bit ill-spoken; but there were truth in the phrases which she used. Namely being the fact she seemed to actually have an idea of what the in the heck just happened in the area and a general idea of the energy being used. Which showed that despite her appearances, Cirno did indeed seem rather knowledgeable for someone of her caliber.

And on the subject of energy in general, it was up to Cirno to ensure that this person was at least well protected from this force. Placing her hands outwards, The Angel of The Ice summoned the depth of force that lay deep within her body in order to begin releasing a soothing, serene and overall holy energy. "I'm not sure if you are going to accept this or, Reaper Lady, but I offer you a gift to help ya through this hard time. Miss Shiro thinks it will do you good when it comes to your emotions." Tapping her skull a bit, Cirno started referring to the former Angel of Ice, Shiro Iramasha, as she was presently giving her some guidance on what to do to ease the tension within Shani's body through her knowledge. Although, to everyone else, The Icy Fairy may seem a bit bonkers as only those whom could share a telepathic link with Cirno may be able to hear the words of the long deceased Iramasha.

In any case, once she was done summoning the energy, The Angel would let out a soft sigh before sending it a direct linear path towards Shani's location. If she were to allow herself to become hit by this energy? It would attempt to ease the tension in her body, mend the damaged psyche within her mind and attempt to balance out the energies within the girl so she could have a chance at being a normal functioning human being. The intent of this was not to disallow the Death Energy within Shani, but rather, make it better controlled, less strainful on the psyche of Shani and hopefully allow her to see that Cirno was indeed an ally, and not someone to do battle against for the time being.

Rubbing the back of her head a bit, Cirno gave off a natural grin before saying this much: "I mean, I hope that helps ya out Reaper Lady, but we've got bigger things to worry about now. I say we work together in securing this city so we can make sure it's people are happy and protected."

Moving her head towards the direction of Sagumi and Shisome, The Angel seemed rather bothered by the wording of Sagumi's speech. He kept referring to Shisome as this "Lilium" person, when the only person standing before them was The Vanguard's supposed leader. It didn't make much sense to her as she watched them both begin to go in their separate direction. However, something was nagging within the minds of both Cirno and Shiro alike as they started to detect something deeper within The Doll Girl as they shared this connection with her and their skills of energy perception were able to dig deeper as a result.

'Aye, aye. I'm as calm as I can be at the moment, Doll Lady. If you say you can handle him, I'll just take your word on it since you are strong. I just don't want to see you get hurt or die, so I'll be there to bail you out if any sort of ill should befall you since that's what friends and allies do for each other. I'll hold things down in the city and see if any new threats come in. He doesn't seem interested in destroying the city, so I'll just have the people who came with me accelerate this process with this other network. I think it's called the....Yuumeshi Network? Yuuteshi Network...? Yuu--deshi Network? I 'dunno, it was something to that effect and Koichi is telling me to sync our barrier with it to accelerate its growth and we can see who enters the place. It's gonna be really fun!'

Guiding her hands into the air, she'd soon use the shield which was appearing all throughout Australia in order to add the external energy of the Yuudeshi Network in order to finalize the filtration barrier throughout Wollongong to at least seal off the city against anymore targets seeking to invade it. For most souls that enter from this point would be able to become easily tracked by the network and they could allow or disallow access to it. It may not be the greatest defense, but even if a target were to come in, Cirno assumed she could handle it as she felt something off in the distance heading it's way; albeit faint at this point.

However, Cirno's attention snapped back towards the vicinity where Sagumi and Shisome had transported to. A baffled expression came across the Iramasha's face as she sensed a major shift in energies taking place within The Doll Girl. No longer was she that gentle person The Angel once sensed, but something within her had been corrupted and whatever stood before her felt like an entirely different person. Even if Cirno had a difficult time explaining her perceptions of energies to other beings, she understood entirely the process taking place. It was akin to how both she and Shiro were connected: they were synced together by the mind, but shared the same body. Through this piece of knowledge that was relevant in her own life, even for a child like her, Cirno was able to piece together the pieces of the puzzle to at least deduce a similar effect was taking place and Sagumi had a terrible case of mistaken identity.

"Hey Mister Murder Man, I think this is the person you are now looking for!" Hollered Cirno to the two combatants, despite the distance they were separated by; "I'm not sure how to explain this, but I'll try to do it as best as I can! That former Doll Lady known as Shisome you were fighting before seems to have disappeared, as there is something within her brain that is bringing out The Crazy Lady you are trying to fight. Lilium, or Crazy Lady, basically shares the same link to her mind and you really do have the wrong person because Shisome is being possessed by some kind of wicked energy that's compelling her to do these terrible things you accuse her of doing!"

Seeing through Lilium's possession as it were clear as day, Cirno seemed to be a bit unnerved by the fact that this may not be the same person she was beginning to try and befriend; but she would try her best anyway to reason with her. After all, it's what allies do. They try to help each other, and at the moment, it seemed like Shisome needed all the help she could muster. Not bother with tampering with the barrier, Cirno simply let her words ring into Shisome and Lilium's minds through the telepathic connection which they both shared from earlier.

Activating her holy aura once again, Cirno started to have an illuminous light shine throughout her body as she took a deep breath and nothing but chilled air escaped her list as she synthesized heavily within her angelic origins. Everyone on the battlefield at this point could detect something strange about this energy; as it gave off a strong sense of holy aura about it that seemed to remove the sense of decay which Shani presented with her Death Energy, ease the minds of those left in the city from the Iramasha and Vanguard forces and ultimately awaken her Angel heritage.

"Let's see if we can help her, Shiro. She needs our help to fight against that monster and I can't just sit around doing nothing. I'm gonna need your help with this and I'm hoping our holy power will be enough!" Having stated that, she started to have the color in her eyes fade away until they were consumed by bright burst of white light as she focused heavily on the range in which she could detect Shisome's mind.

"Hey, Miss Shisome, I'm not sure if you can hear me through all that is clouded in your mind, but it's me, Cirno again! I can feel that you are in a lot of pain, anger and all sorts of crazy emotions I can't even begin to really understand through this channel of ours. If you are willing to fight it, I want to help you purge this demon from within you. You seem like such a kind-hearted person, and it feels pretty awful to see such a pretty person consumed by something so ugly. So I will do my best as an Angel from above to help pull you from this ugliness; even if I have to rip it out of you." Saying this both telepathically and out loud, Cirno wanted to ensure those words were echoed to the likes of Shisome no matter what as the aura that radiated off The Angel of the Ice became more overbearing on the area as it attempted to cleanse all impurities from the land.

Very soon, as Cirno's force began to spread throughout the vicinity did soldiers whom were once injured began to see their wounds heal back to normal, the ground which was destroyed by constant fights throughout the city was seen being restored and reverted to it's original place and all throughout the entirety of Wollongong did the mentality of the people seem to shift. Where there was once despair, there was now hope. Where there was once doubt, there was nothing but assurance left. And where there was death, there was now life. Through the awakening of The Ice Angel's holy force going to work, she was going to use this to bring Shisome back from the depth of possession and drag her back to the light of dawn.

Holding out her arms in a V pattern, Cirno locked on to the frequency which Lilium's soul was operating on and attempted to target her directly. Injecting this overwhelming force of sheer, masterful willpower and purification from her angelic attributes into Shisome's mind; The Angel of the Ice was attempting to purge this sinister nature that brewed within Shisome's mind and cleanse her body of it to force it outwards for the world to see in order to prove her claims were true to Sagumi. If she were able to pull this off, it would be as if she were killing two birds with one stone. For through the intents of her actions, Cirno desired to expose the faker for the world to see and save Shisome from the fate of having to do battle with the likes of Sagumi at the same time and bringing the killer to justice.

"I'm not sure what you are, I'm not sure who you are and I'm not sure what your intentions are: but as an Angel of the Iramasha Clan, I'm not going to allow you to hurt this girl anymore. Lilium, Crazy Lady or whatever you like to be called: I'm gunning for you and I'm going to purge from her heart with my willpower and the might of my desire to help my new friend! She seems like a honest, strong and wonderful person who doesn't deserve to be put in the same nasty category as you!"

With those words echoed throughout the field, Cirno slammed into the depth of Shisome's mind further to make this a battle of sheer will and in this fight...The Angel of the Ice had the strength of determination to keep this fight up for as long as it would take to free Shisome from the prison of this freak. That was going to be Cirno's vow and objective from this point onward as they marched down the path of war with this monster.

Shani felt her emotions finally begin to subside as the blue hair being in front of her started to respond to what she had said in her enraged state. She stated her name as Cirno Iramasha, and called Shani Reaper lady. She chuckled at this, it felt nice for someone to nickname her like that, like the girl was trying to be friendly with her. Finally calmed down, Shani’s white aura projected outward as she spoke softly, uttering a few words.

“Light of the calm.”

As she spoke those words, something strange seemed to happen around her. The light that was emitting from her body seemed to turn a softer color, and some of the plants that had been damaged from her release of her death energy seemed to mend themselves. In fact, any nearby living thing, plant, animal, human, or spiritual being, who happened to be injured would suddenly have their wounds start healing, as if regenerating slowly but surely. Sighing softly, Shani then smiled and looked at Cirno, speaking softly, her voice a little worried still.

“Ah… you noticed my reaction upon meeting Shisome. Well… let’s just say I had a run in with her before and had no wish to repeat the events of the past. To be honest, she’d probably kill me within a couple of seconds. She may not look it, but that girl is insanely strong.”

She shuddered, going over the memories of what had happened previously with Shisome. Thinking back on it, it seemed lucky that she had not been killed during that fight, but it was a good thing at that. It had allowed her to continue on in her life and reach a new understanding of who she was. Truthfully, she wasn’t entirely comfortable with being a half demon just yet, but most of the pain that had been tied to her heritage was gone now.

“To be honest though, I’m pretty sure my death energy can’t be the cause of my mood issues. I haven’t had trouble with my emotions until very recently, and the death energy… well, it was a gift from my mother’s genes.”[/color]

She looked at the ground, her posture showing definite discomfort. Shani didn’t usually discuss her parents, it was not a subject she liked to bring up. Back when she had been nothing but an assassin, she was already aware of the reputation of Shadow Fall. Now she wanted to make her own choices in life, not be stuck to the ideology of her parentage. She didn’t think it would make a good impression on people if they knew her mother was a demon of Shadow Fall, and also a member of the Banshee Force. However, what Cirno did next certainly did surprise Shani. She summoned up some sort of energy, and Shani could feel the energies of her human side seeming to reach out towards it, as if trying to take it in to themselves. But this child was going to give it to her as a gift, it was something to help her with the sudden emotional problems she had developed? Shani smiled happily, she couldn’t believe it. This girl was trying to help her out, despite what she was. Perhaps Senna had been right, perhaps her parentage did not define her. Nodding her head slowly, she stood there as the energy flew towards her, watching as it entered her body. As it did she could feel all the stress that had been in the background suddenly lift, a feeling of renewed energy flowing through her. As it did, the light around her suddenly flashed brilliantly for a second, and during that brief second the healing power of her aura was twice as powerful as it had been. This was due to what Cirno’s energy had done, it had taken the conflicting energies in Shani’s body and calmed them. Thus, the energies were not fighting in her own body, and were now able to be used in full outside of her body. Tears of happiness left her eyes as she opened her mouth, her voice full of joy.

“T-thank you so much…”

It was as the words left her mouth that another burst of light emitted from her body. However, this one was of a yellowish color as opposed to the usual white light that emitted from her body. In addition, the light seemed to be shaping itself, slowly gathering around her back in to the form of white feathered wings. Her body slowly floated off the ground, levitating an inch or two above it as the wings beat steadily behind her. In addition, the white light surrounding her seemed to turn in to golden armor, though it did not seem to interfere with her movements at all. Looking down, Shani’s face was full of awe, unsure of what was happening but amazed at the fact that it had. Looking at Cirno she nodded, understanding that it was these people who had been sent to secure the city.

“Of course, I will help you with whatever you need. That was my intention originally, though it seems I got sidetracked. Whatever it is that I can help with, please let me know. I wish to be of service in any way I can.”

With that said she awaited Cirno’s commands, ready to do whatever action was needed of her.

Sagumi was aware of something happening in the background between the little girl and the littler...more little...more littler...smaller girl. He knew they were doing something but it didn’t seem remotely directed at him, so for the most part Sagumi didn’t pay it any mind, it simply wasn’t important. It seemed sort of convoluted, misplaced, and completely lacking any sort of dramatic timing similar to the gravitas of the events happening around them. Apparently, the young girl was having the younger girl reach deep inside her and make her whole...or something. Sagumi wasn’t paying much attention but if it weren’t two small children partaking in the act, he’d feel obligated to call child services. Then again, in this day and age, the age people appeared to be was almost never what they actually were. It was a whole new, terrifying chapter in the war on pedophilia and people are woefully ill-equipped to handle it. The better question was, which one in this situation was, in fact, the pedophile. Mysteries abound in this exciting new episode of To Catch a Predator. Unfortunately for the adoring fans at home however, Sagumi had more pressing matters to get to, such as his multiple lives long quest for vengeance, and simply did not have the free time to figure out just which one of Cirno or Shani needed an adult.

Now, back at the plot, instead Sagumi’s focus was primarily on Lilium, or Shisome, or whatever name she was using in this world, and on the impact, or lack thereof, of his attack. His spear was halted in its tracks by some sort of field that Sagumi was not able to readily identify. The second impact upon his spear was clearly a concussive gust of wind to knock it away, that was clearly visible and even felt simply through the air currents surrounding her. What was not easily understandable was the field that seemed to encapsulate her. She kept her footing solid and it didn’t seem to remotely exert any pressure upon her. The only thing he could see was ever so slight bends in the light around her. The only known, naturally occurring, phenomenon that produced similar results such as that were black holes. This was obviously gravity or something similar on a much, much smaller scale but whatever that pressure based barrier that enveloped her was, it was not going to be easy to get through. He’d simply have to test it further, but it did put him off a bit. These were not Lilium’s powers, this was not what she was capable of. This wasn’t anything even vaguely resembling what she was capable of. What in the flying fornication was going on here?

Some insight was coming, at least at face value. It would seem the spear was not the only attack Sagumi had managed to launch. The doll-faced one’s reactions were, well, unexpected. That was a good word for it. He expected some kind of lie, some kind of assurance that he got the wrong person, some sort of promise that they were friends, some sort of picture of peace and happiness and mistaken identity and so on and so forth about an aspiring future. He was not ready for the rage, a rage he shared. Surprisingly enough...or not really surprisingly at all given the current climate, Sagumi was not disarmed by the outburst, Sagumi was not calmed by it, he was not quieted, he was even more pissed off. Maybe she was right, maybe he was another toy, maybe he was another torture, but he was going to do what none of the others had the balls to do, he was going to rip her god damn head off and feed it to an elephant, and no, he doesn’t care that Elephants aren’t carnivores and it makes no sense whatsoever. He was going to do it anyway. Whether it was petty, childish, self-gratifying, or whatever derogatory adjective the girl wanted to ascribe to him, Sagumi was going to get his revenge, he was going to destroy her utterly, and he was going to mete out the same fate to whatever stood in his way. In this context now, more than ever, Sagumi was most definitely not a protagonist.

It was barely a moment, a sliver of time at best, that Sagumi spent in mild confusion as her demeanor changed, shifted, altered from her earlier fury and rage in to something that the red tressed man was all too familiar with. He knew those movements, he knew that tone, he knew that feel...he knew that pain. As everyone seemed to point out, Sagumi’s sensing abilities were rather lackluster. That classification, however, only extended to sensing energy, specifically energy that was not chi. Sagumi’s sensing abilities, using the five senses given to everyone, spiritually aware or not, were absolutely top notch. He could isolate the changes in her demeanor, her personality, her very core the second they were made without using the fancy energy sensing abilities everyone else relied upon. Sagumi had his eyes, Sagumi had his ears, he even had his nose and he really didn’t need to be able to tell the shift based off her energy signature. They could take their energy sensing and shove it right up their collective rectums. As soon as Shisome-Lilium started speaking, her word scheme all too familiar, the man’s hands quickly gathered chi and just as quickly lit up in flames as he steadily gathered the needed energy for the Tiger Shot. As he was about to unleash it however, pedophile suspect number one, or maybe it was number two, he should have been more clear with designating them, caught up to them and began speaking. Her words were...pretty redundant but it did leave him with an odd feeling. It wasn’t very often that you were spoken to like you were completely retarded by a five year old. Before any snarky retort could be made however, she started speaking...either to herself or an imaginary friend and then again speaking to Shisome-Lilium without any chance for even an imaginary friend to respond. Apparently she was quite fond of one-sided conversations.

Then she began doing...something. She claimed she was going to help Shisome, but Sagumi was clueless as to how she would accomplish such a feat. She hadn’t really demonstrated any powers thus far outside “oh em gee lazorz” so maybe she did have some means of penetrating the shell that was Shisome and yanking Lilium out. He doubted it, but who knows. He’d been wrong before. If she was trying to rip out the previous consciousness, as her many long winded rants would lead one to believe, Sagumi’s best bet was trying to distract Lilium, not let her focus on whatever it was the little girl was doing. As such, he’d keep testing the girl’s powers, look for a hole, and then if Cirno was unable to sedate Lilium, then Sagumi would simply have to try something he had not attempted in six millennia. Quickly, Sagumi planted his feet a shoulder’s width apart and quickly thrust both of his flaming hands toward Shisome-Lilium, the chi that encompassed the man’s hands would converge and create a large, giant even, fire ball that hurtled toward the girl, intent on swallowing her up if she did nothing to defend against it. Sagumi would force her to react, force Lilium to move, and then he’d force her to slip and then, finally, he’d force her out.

A million messages, a million responses... a million feelings.

To say he was pissed was most likely the understatement of the entire century. Very few times in a person's life are they consumed by so much rage that a single overriding thought consumes their entire existence, their mind, body, and soul all acting as one to accomplish that goal.

"Moonie, if you want to keep her here, you're going to have to take care of her. Do you understand that?"

"Voi… I will, Boss James. I promise!"

All through his mind, the man known as Mjesec Võrgukliendid,or to others simply as Moonie, was in that state of rage, his mouth letting out one long, feral roar. Not that anyone could hear it. The amount of Blast that covered his body, so intense that it was already Moon Dragon flames around its border, were destroying even the sound waves that came out of his mouth. His eyes were simply white, consumed by power, and his entire body was tense, without a hint of a relaxed muscle to be found in his entire being.

"…" The male, though he knew not why, took the girl, put her on his back, and felt her grip onto him. He didn't know why. He just wanted to see some kind of change in her. She reminded him of… something. She reminded him of the moon, of the endless, lonely expanse. His passion for fighting vanished, his mind going back to the feeling of staring up at this blue marble that he was now resting his feet on, and deciding that he couldn't just leave her there, all alone to herself…

The Golden Coast was far behind him now; he was going at a speed that the Moon Iramasha had never imagined before, his entire body propelled by the force of Blast coming out of his entire body. The ground below him was being completely carved and razed as he made his passage, the hundreds of flames appearing in his path as he left a wake of destruction that he did not mind in the least. In fact, he was not even aware of it.

"Voi, Shi…"

"….Moonie…"

His rage was broke, as at last he stopped. The massive amount of Blast that was around his body began to circle around him, becoming a tight sphere that got closer and closer to himself. He was already in his Purity state, the maximum normal amount of power that he could wield, as he merely looked directly in front of him. "Grr… Grrrrr…. GRRRR…. RAAH…" He let out, his mouth trying to restrain himself, trying to find the exact focus of what was occurring.

On the one hand, he could clearly see the man in front of him, the one that had driven Shisome to this. However, he had rapidly stopped being the problem. As he looked at Shisome, he completely realized what had happened, realizing that he could just barely feel Shisome. Almost territorially, he could feel himself mustering up his image of Shisome, the very being of her within his mind, cherishing and protecting it. "…" He merely stepped forwards, disregarding everything else as the sphere of Blast energy around his body came into contact with the barrier of Order.

However, even as he stepped, the barrier moved aside. It was against 'harm' to Segumi or herself… But the fact of the matter is that the idea of harming Shisome was, to Moonie, frankly impossible. Indeed, there was only one driving desire in his entire body: To "return Shisome". He could feel that mental ideal he had of Shisome, not having time to wonder if it was currently the only active apparition of her in the world. However, at the moment he was so filled with rage that it did not matter, his eyes still white. Segumi began to move towards Lilium, and was fully intent on attacking her until suddenly he would feel the entirety of his body being ripped aside, pulled away from her with such force that more likely than not it would take everything he had to simply remain standing. The force that had arrived was beyond normal calculation or expectation; it was simply immense, so strong that the mere presence of it would make standing difficult, much less attacking something, even more so the object of the force's attention.

Within the barrier, it would become obvious to Segumi that the being who had just walked in was a strange one. The substance that hew as giving off was very similar to the stuff that Shisome had used to block his spear earlier, but there was something more than that. As he began to approach her, he could feel some force acting on her mind through the link. "No." The single word emerged from his mind with such force that it would likely knock Cirno back flat on her butt, and also break Lilium's concentration. The amount of emotion and raw force to that single word, the mental presence of the male got in the way of her purifying light, the sheer natural state of it feeling nothing from it, acting as a literal shield, even if it was to Lilium. Behind that word there was conviction, power… raw will. Inside of that word, there was no aggression towards Cirno's actions, but a simple denial. That was all; he did not take offense to what she had done, but had denied it. It was that pure in intent and purpose, and even if it was not enough to stop Cirno's assault, at the very least it should give her serious pause to evaluate the actions of this male.

Meanwhile, he was looking directly at Lilium. His mind could no longer read the body as Shisome; even as he came so close to her that their blast fields intersected. The sheer amount of raw power roiling off of his body clashed with hers, and as Gravity is prone to do attempted to push him down. However, the energy was subverted, consumed by the raw intensity that Moonie possessed. As he looked at the being in front of him, his entire body began to become visible, standing within her gravity barrier, completely unaffected as his Blast began to circle fiercely around him, standing right next to her with a Gravity so powerful that to move she would have to exert so much force that it would level a small city. There was nothing offensive about this action; there was nothing in Moonie's mind or actions that was with the intent of offense. There was only the pure desire to 'return Shisome'. The Moon God's one track mind was clear of all other emotion, even as his body began to change.

The figure who always wore nothing but his eccentric clothing was different. His unique long blonde hair was gone, and in its place was a simple tuft of white hair on top of his head. Out of his back a long tail of Blast energy had appeared. His torso had grown smaller, more defined, and his height had increased. His legs were covered in green cargo pants, and there were boots on his feet. He was not touching the ground; he was floating, after all, staring at the girl as his body went through a strange change. His eyes were possessed by only a red glint as he looked at the being in front of him, white gloves forming over his hands as he reached both hands out, golden fur growing on one side of his face as more tendrils of Blast began to emerge around him, at last two black-stoned pistols appeared on either end of himself, as he looked directly at Lilium. At the last, a single medallion appeared around his neck, single hole in its center, engraved on it a picture of a wolf's head.

"You're going to get out of Shisome's body. And you are going to stay out." He said simply, as without warning, the individual began to move. This was unlike any Moonie ever seen before, as his movements were so fast that they were creating a tornado on the inside of the barrier, the only visible thing his afterimage as dozens of Moonie's appeared around her, before they began to rapidly encircle her from all sides.

"I am the watchdog of Shisome Saihossoku. I am the hound of the Leader of the Vanguard. You have offended her pride, soul, justice, and life. I am a force of nature, come to crush you. I he Captain of the forces that she would lead when there are none others. I am Captain Võrgukliendid." He explained simply, his voice filled with a simple intense purpose, the black tendrils beginning to swim all around Lilium as he at last raised his eyes wide, before releasing an extremely powerful howl.

"ARRRRRRRRRGHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

As he did so, gravity suddenly shot all around his body. This Gravity was so intense that the entirety of the ground underneath the two would begin to shatter, as Blast fell on Lilium from every side. Blast that ripped apart and destroyed any force except for that of Moonie's Gravity, pressing on her body from all sides as the Gravity forced itself downwards with a massive amount of force. What had happened? Well, it became quite simple; for this Order barrier to act upon the Captain, two things would have had to happen. The first was Moonie desiring to fight or harm Shisome. He had no such desire of that. He was simply there to 'return Shisome'. His one track mind found no other goal than this, and if Lilium were to twist order to still reject him, she would rn into the other problem. The other problem was that for Order to now remove them, it would have to exceed the natural amount of force possible for a being of this world. The amount of pressure that the Captain was exerting was so much that his own spine was bending over from its own use, though his red eyes remained looking right at the girl. This meant that for Order to act on the male, it would have to break itself.

Even so, he began to step forwards, even with the amount of pressure that had already destroyed the ground, pressing the both of them deep within it as he began to approach her, getting closer and closer, his eyes still set on her. "Get out of her right now. Once you do, you have the time until I scent you to run as far away as you can. If you do not manage to do that much, then I will hunt you. I will destroy you. For the direct harm that you have caused on Shisome, for the… sorrow… " Even the calm Captain's voice broke as he spoke these words, having felt Shisome's mind when it had broken. "You will be ended.. AND I WILL INCUR IT WITH Y OWN TWO HANDS!" He roared, as he suddenly changed. His entire body changed, becoming nothing more than a collection of Blast energy as it resolidified into a massive black hound, a massive beast that stood over Shisome's body, before it began to wrap itself around her form. His thread had been in the future tense, for sure. He made no direct threat upon her, for now she was in Shisoe's body, something that the Captain would only bear any ill will towards if it were necessary.

It held her there. It did nothing but hold her. That was literally all that it did. She was incapacitated; to move in that Gravity would rip her limb from limb; even to move her spiritual presence would cause it to be ripped into hundreds of thousands of pieces. Quite frankly, the Captain was attempting to capture her there, making it totally impossible for her to move. However, more than that was the massive layer of Blast that emitted from him on each and every side. Anyone who swished to approach Shisome on a physical level would have to go through that. Anyone who wished to approach her on a mental or spiritual level would have to go through Moonie's own absolute mindset.

Moonie was not happy with what had happened to Shisome. To protect her, he had even discarded his will to fight and completely expunged it from his body. As the massive hound made out of spiritual energy closed its eyes to focus on its task, he could feel that presence once more, the presence that was his guiding light when he had had nothing else.

….Shisome…

To Re-enter [Wollongong][Australia War Arc] - Page 2 BShisome2
To the soul wandering all alone
Shisome Saihossoku; Vanguard Leader ; Human; 5-1+

Enter The Adapting Doll
Do not be afraid, wandering gypsy

Licking eagerly, flaming into the desire throes of the passion. The honey'd trap, laid out for the male, almost like a vice-grip. She had to thank him, truly for allowing her a path into the girl's mind, into the mind of the other half that kept it sealed from the darkness that permeated her bones. Indeed, the figure that he had once knew had become erased, transmogrified into the aspects that he himself chose, and dared not to listen to any of the things that had been spoken. What fragile mind, what fragile concept of loyalty and friendship. Even so, the mind would not know that, but that thought came, like a flowing source of knowledge. Greedily, the creatures in the dark devoured that very source and begged for it.

Domine

The swirling mixtures of feeling, not only in the red head, but the bluenette, and then the one hurtling towards their location was something almost akin to a cocktail for the presence. She wanted those feelings, feasted on them almost as if trying to absorb each aspect of their pain. It was beautiful, as the girl became the central figure, the master of the play. The one that all lights shone upon, even as the focus, the lens that would allow her to guide her intentions towards a circle, towards a moment in which she may act, was difficult to achieve. As such, the presence stepped out; and floated in that space of where nothing was moving, of where all was playing as if on screens, taking her time to judge, and to construct. Perhaps it could be likened to a creative mode.

Libera

Firstly it would have to be decided which path to take first. Now that was a choice that could be made conceptually easier with what happened to the male. Yes, the attention would be beckoned to the red tressed male, as the name came to mind, unbidden almost. Sagumi. The name was of a twisted expression, of longing and a desire, a pain that had never healed in the heart of someone or something; the pain that had had grinded in too deeply and thus mutated the person beyond what the path had chosen. Indeed, that was the first one that all attention would be made towards, but yet, there was nothing to which to truly note.

Nos

Or perhaps there was. As if rewinding, the memories, the thoughts came flowing back of each minute second. The expressions that he shone as the spear had been moved aside, away from the target that it had originally intended to find and strike. It had flown away and yet it had not become useless; there was just something. And yet, the male did not act, only reacted to the actions of the girl, of Shisome's suddenly painful self coming to light. It surprised him, but did not have any adverse effects on his being. In fact, he seemed to be heading on the path he choose regardless. His confusion was adorable, until he had the knowledge, and the face to realize that there was difference. Indeed, it had taken him the sudden flash of herself to be brought to the truth. Pathetic, blinded human.

Esse

Therefore, in conclusion, he did not much react to her other then what was predicted, along with the not so launched attack. Why was it not launched? Because the Angel Iramasha, a being of.. Ice, yes Ice as that feeling came through, dashed forward. To become what? A holy herald, a person that put a finger in every pie to do so called good? The entity laughed heartily in her mind. Yes, there was no method in which to otherwise call this child's sure need to become the main protagonist. But that was of no matter, as the entity derisively thought of the needy child only as an annoyance. It would not be too difficult to just easily write off the child even, but the doll like girl had an idea that it would not be something.. well wise to do perhaps.

A peccatis

And she was right. The girl immediately tried to explain away the bond between herself and Shisome; despite being shut out once more mentally, the Iramasha Sync cut off by the intervention of her very own presence. And yet.. this girl was trying, so very hard; and the entity could listen, amusingly taking in all of the knowledge that was accumulating within. Indeed, the girl child began to try and clear the mind of the girl; but the most pressing issue was the rippling barrier that had been set up. With a minor adjustment to it's settings, the holy contract was cut off, suppressed and devoured by the very technique Shisome had placed to protect the others of the things within. Indeed, this girl was attempting to begin something such as purification. Such a process would not announce something good or right, but rather a will to save something.. from itself, which was folly for it became clear to the entity's expansive well of knowledge, and now connection.

Nostris

None understood the nature of her bond to Shisome. And that was obvious, as the Angel would begin to try and isolate whatever was going on within the human; and she would be met with an ever changing brick wall, something that would not allow her to even come close to things like understanding Shisome's soul, or even lock onto her parasitic presence. In fact, these blocks were created by the sheer wealth of mental power within the girl; it blocked all interference from the outside into her inner self, a wall that was set up with a high bar. There would be none to cross it, least of all this small Iramasha that doubtlessly assumed the role as main protagonist, and would try to save this child from the very fact of her own being! Lilium wanted to laugh, loudly and delightedly, but it was something she would not be given the chance for.

Et da nobis quaerit

The presence that had been making it's way to her, to the area, was powerful indeed. It reached upon them, the very strength moving through the area, as the barrier itself did not register the sheer amount of power; it was almost.. exhilarating, as the barrier around the girl shimmered, the attacks of the Angel and Sagumi not even reaching, dispelled by the very arrival of the golden haired one before them. Of course, it was quite amusing to the girl, for a dog had arrived; a loyal hound that would not be touched by her very vile temptations. It was beyond amusing, as it was only another person amongst the ones here to think of her.. as something easy perhaps? Ha.

Et scindite

Fool. This would not be something to take lightly, as the shield she had placed seemed to fade in the power exhibited. It didn't matter; the thin layer that Shisome had thoughtfully given it allowed it to absorb all of the pressure, the presence of the male swallowed up as if it didn't exist. She was in a pure world, the orb keeping her from being touched from even the strongest of things; for to perpetuate, it did all to naught. It was the perfect capability to allow Lilium more time within this body, as she watched, completely and utterly still to the point that she seemed to not even be alive. That was the power nature of the entity, one that had been noted by Sagumi, and perhaps the most identifying mark of the doll.

Finio

And slowly, he changed, his self becoming much more.. unique. Indeed, it was a worthy hound for the woman, as the doll like girl stood not an inch out of place, showing no expression on her face. There would be none, for the entity was not a fool, much less a brash idiot. There was nothing to unsettle the slow measurements of the entity, as the male spoke, and then would go into action. Yes, indeed, she would have to move, to acknowledge, to move forward then; this entire sequence and time was all done in mere milliseconds, things that drifted into the eternity of a slow time within the doll's mind. It had been slow to her, but lightning fast, tumultuous to everyone outside of the area. And that was only her vision; her actions, her plans now came together, at the same speed to the inside and of the outside.

Appetere.

Yes, what would the woman do? The mutt before her, Moonie, had cleared away the girl child's and the human boy's measures to stop her own possession. And surely, he himself would begin to throw around powers around the girl's body, to stop her from even moving, being even. Would she allow such a thing to happen, or would she stop it as even the heavens would churn in the momentum she would begin to bring? Yes.. yes perhaps she could even use that sort of thing against the male. The doll entity considered the words of the male, thinking, churning away at the pieces of her plan within her mind. Quite interesting for all of this to happen indeed, as she turned to the form of Shisome within the mind, a world apart from all.

Et ossa

'Do you think, dearest sister, that this is a suitable situation for you and those around you?' the voice prodded, asking, teasing. The tension in between the two was something that even a dolt could see. The straight, black haired girl was hanging, the chains wrapping around her body, slowly dragging her into the wall. The sighs of pain were mixed with drops of sweat, as the figure, indistinct like a shadow, watched over the girl. The mouth was gleaming white; it curved into a grin, as red slits glowed with malice. Indeed, this was only the form she could take now, not yet completed. But there was another prescence, as if sleeping away inside of the girl's mind, tied to her by a virtue of some sort. But that did not bother the two sisters.

de nostro

Shisome was silent. Amidst all of this, she was fighting her own battle; the pain of all of their interference made her weaker, less likely to fight off the girl before her. The shadow just smirked, as her hands flew from the dark, wrapping around the gentle figure, as if a loving caress. That was the nature of it, as the shadow laughed, slowly a form beginning to melt within the eyes of the girl. Black, curled hair; deep crimson eyes; pale ivory skin; and finally a face so similar but twisted by the virtues of hate and despair, and most important of all, chaos. The girl's hands were gently stroking the other's cheeks, as the lips of the girl came closer. 'You can't even answer can you? You are mine dearest sister, and none of them will understand the truth of our bond. I've come for you, sister, I've come to be the only one that you belong to.'

Petimus

The doll like child had begun to speak, her lips curving into an insane grin, the black nails trailing down the similar skin. 'Your life, your being, and another delusions of elsewhere that inhabit you are folly. Only I am the truth that you may seek refuge with. Do you understand that dearest sister? I will let no one come in between us any longer. Even if I had to kill you myself, you would never escape me anymore. Do you understand that?' she questioned, deciding to continue after a short time. Yes, this was definitely something that was becoming convoluted, as the girl within the chains answered not her twin sister. And the silence was enough, as the insane smile touched her lips once more. Her course of action was set, and now she would begin the next step, to actually begin the Chaos that so eagerly flowed in her body right now.

ut veniam.

In the silence of the aftermath, of the creature moving around the doll like girl's body, the echo of words began to take shape. The air itself rippled, as if tantalized by the words themselves, the voice not a physical one, and yet it was. It was a fantastical voice, perhaps. But it spoke, it sung, it shouted, and most of all, there were words, words to understand at a later date. But all those that heard the words, would seem to think that the lips of the possessed girl were moving, were the ones speaking these words to them.

'O Existence free us
from the sins of our hearts.
And grant upon us one wish.

To rend.
To end.
To desire.

And from the bones
of our grief
We ask for forgiveness.'

And then it began. The very feeling of wrong, of dread, and most of all, of horror. The male that had began to wrap himself around a doll girl, his powers crushing those that were unprepared, was around nothing but thin air. He was around the illusion, the self-delusion of her presence, as it became apparent in the second that his body had closed, the girl was not there, but above, in the air. Floating, as if there was nothing wrong, the girl's long back hair didn't even waver. But now, around her, there was a distortion; the rippling air around her body was like a bead, something that kept her safe and sound from the coffers and touches of all that came towards it. Any capability, ability, anything would be eaten by the ripples, as if they were devouring the very fabric of all things around herself. In fact, it was the element she had adapted from a particular man.

It was a sense of utter nothing, of pure emptiness, and simply called The Void. With a smile, the girl then extended her hands. The smile was as if indulging children to play; with a lash, the ripples were now extending, heads of dragons forming out of the ripples, and bursting into flames. Moonie's pressure, will, power, was quite no pun intended, nothing in the face of the vast powers of the girl. The dragons, two, launched themselves not at Moonie, and not outside of the Order, but at Sagumi himself. In fact, the flames were pure black, a jolting memory of flames coming to mind. The smirk on the doll's face grew, as she moved her hands again, from the ripples came more shapes; this time it was chains, glowing of an eery black colour, pulsing.

The very chains felt as if nobody should touch, on fear of something terrible happening. For they had become Chains of Severance, aiming to cut all material world from the spiritual one, and vice versa. With a snap of her fingers, the chains burst, flying in every direction, as if aiming to wrap themselves around the human male. And these chains held no fear of the Aries, finding themselves after him as well. Leave this barrier, was more or less her intents towards the two. The chain of attacks was not limited to just that, as the woman's hands moved, yet again; this time, her fingers curled in, and from around her, came a strong, strong feeling of forbidding. Indeed, she prepared herself to speak to those present, but not in the melody of her voice.

Within all of their minds, a voice, velvet black and silkily like the darkness, spoke. ''My how courageous! The more you intend to oust me, the more you harm Shisome instead! How beautiful, how delicious; Sagumi, I know not whom you are just yet, but the memories.. yes stay in my presence, and become one with the glory I present! I will not be forced by none other then Shisome herself, so spare your time fools, or I will launch a strike that not even your limited minds can ignore!'' she spoke to them, her tone harsh, dangerous, and yet confident. She had ultimate power right now; at her finger tips, there was a source that could even end this world, or go toe to toe with a God. That very feeling was almost insanely giddying, as the entity absorbed more knowledge.

Indeed, she was not going to let herself be caught off guard, letting none a change to truly engage, as she knew there would be more. More opponents, but she had little time to assimilate her twin sister; and thankfully, none of them have caught on to the secret that would expel her just yet, as she began to set up her second flurry of strikes, and plan into motion. She was not going to be easily touched, and was an opponent that perhaps all of those present would have to face, as the smirk became twisted, unacceptable on the doll girl's face. She wanted to make them regret for standing in the way of her plans, and she was not going to remind them gently, or even passively.

In short, Lilium was setting up Shisome's power, getting more and more control the more they tried forcing themselves onto her. Would they find the answer on to which to free the girl from the terrible other half? Or would they just struggle, in all futility until she had found herself acquiring the body itself? That was a race of questions that nobody could answer, or deny. Perhaps, even so it would become the dissonant symphony of their deaths, as the girl began to laugh, the cackle dark, and filled with the very tones of the chaos she was unleashing. The havoc on all of their states was tremendous, and it would begin to approach a new mark, as the next set of movements would become the requiem of their deaths, the moments stretching forever within the mind, but in a few bare moments in the truth of reality.

Yes, it had truly begun.

To Re-enter [Wollongong][Australia War Arc] - Page 2 Empty Re: To Re-enter [Wollongong][Australia War Arc]

Artist: setsuna - Song: König der Unterwelt- Word Count: 3180

The skies above Wollongong were alit with life as the last of the city had been purged from the rebel forces that once inhabited this land. Explosions throughout the air, gunfire occuring on the ground and the burst of shockwaves out towards the sea were all soon fading off into nothing as the secondary battle away from those whom assembled at the heart of this city had ended and the eyes of all those were left were fixated on the dazzling lights that lay within the town's central hub. Here is the stakes were high, the tension was immense and the air gathered around these fighters were all but hostile.

Seeming more critical in nature, the expression across Cirno's face seemed to harden as she gazed upon the likes of Shani. While inside she was very happy and grateful that her influence was able to help find a lost soul towards the path of what she believed to be good, there was still the more urgent matter of this monstrosity that lay before her. It disgusted Cirno to feel it's vile intent, it's endless spiral of utter nonsense and countless supply of words that were meant to have weight; yet were nothing but illusions of false strength. And through this nature of the shell THAT the woman whom once stood before Cirno rotted in, the Angel of the Ice did not want her new companion to be tainted and made impure by this creature's essence.

Although her mind were in two places, the physical body of Cirno maintained it's functions and spoke aloud to the likes of The Ziamichi. "I am very appreciative that my efforts were not in vane and that I was able to salvage your path. However, as you can tell from how things are progressing, this is turning into an ugly battle. One in which I cannot guarantee your safety no longer and I will want you to move as far away from here as possible. I am going to do something to end this mess. So I ask you, implore you: please get away from this area. If I am able to come out of this city alive, I will reunite with you and we can continue our friendship from there, okay? For now, to enseal our bond I will forge this connection with you."

Ringing the utmost of sincerity and urgency in her voice, The Angel of the Ice did not want the woman before her to see what sorts of savagery she were going to have to perform on this day. It was going to be a battle of minds, and one where she was determined to be the victor no matter the cost. However, before reaching that point, she'd exhale a strange mist from her body that would form into a crystal hued sphere. In a matter of moments, if Shani accepted, this sphere would attempt to attach itself into her chest. Should this action be allowed to past, then this sphere could be seen entering into The Ziamichi's ches to infuse itself into her being; thus creating a telepathic relay that her and Shani could communicate on no matter what dimension they were in. No matter if she were in Hueco Mundo, or Cirno in the Soul Society; this wavelength would be fully available for Shani to access when the time is right.

Nevertheless, the secondary feature and most important component of this mystic object was to constantly keep the balance of Shani's energy in correct semblance. If allowed to synchronize heavily into her spirit, then the sphere would go on to harmonize itself to the mental and physical wavelengths of The Ziamichi in order to provide a constant supply of harmony within her soul. Should there be a time where one force within her body overpowers the other? The Holy Sphere would attempt to correct it by bringing both forces to an equal point and neutralizing them as one united force to make her stronger. As, in fact, by merging of these different collective energies stored within Shani, it should make her overall state of being more powerful by combining her Death Energy and spiritual energy into one form; making it a potent force to boost her powers to another level.

"That is called the Sphere of Tenshi Hikari. Please take it with you and keep it close to your heart. It will be the internal light within to keep your heart's darkness from consuming you once again. I wish you the best of luck in your travels and I hope we can meet again under better circumstances. For now, I must purge this vile spirit before me and put an end to it's reign. It's become clear to me that whatever is within the Doll Girl is something that is repulsive, sickening and overall full of itself. I'll put an end to this beast's illusion and wreck her delusions." With that said, a deep sigh would exhale out of The Icy Angel's mouth for the walls of abominable, gruesome and repugnant nature laid before her to slay and put to rest within Shisome's soul.

However, before being able to truly focus on that task, the entry of another male temporarily distracted her. Glancing at his entrance, the individual seemed filled with such...coldness. The energy within the Nature Iramahsa was spiraling out of control and seemed to feeled with such rage towards the creature whom no doubt caused this sensation to be inflicted upon his being. Nodding her head, she'd simply give him an obligatory nod; while her body was more than able to withstand the shockwave of this males presence and capable of holding her own ground on fair footing against it's effects. The intent behind his wording seemed to indicate he had some thirst of denial, but Cirno's nature wasn't going to stop here. No, not after the encounter of this revolting creature that lay before her. Rather he wanted the help or not, The Angel Of The Ice was here to do her job and rid the land of this detestable witch.

Nonetheless, before such action could be taken, the city needed to be ensured it's safety. So creating a massive sphere of light around the radius where Moonie, Shisome, Sagumi and herself were fighting; Cirno condensed her Chaos Energy and infused it's will to override anything else that would attempt to tamper with it's functions if it lacked the sufficient power to overwhelm Cirno's willpower. From there, she'd focus heavily on the next few hundred meters where they were all fighting before utilizing the Iramasha's infamous "Chaos Warp" in order to transport everyone within this circle outside of the city limits. Where would they all go? It's simple: a place of freedom, space and separation from those who have nothing to do with this utterly detestable debacle -- the outlands of Australia would be a sitting place to finish this as they would arrive in a massive space that was filled with nothing but canyons, sand and endless terrain to get lost in.

(FROM THIS POINT ONWARD, EVERYTHING TAKES PLACE WITHIN SHISOME'S BODY THAT IS OCCURRING BELOW THIS LINE!)

Therefore, with the location now settled, Sagumi and Moonie would be able to focus on the physical form of this distasteful creature, while Cirno would focus heavily on the battle occurring within The Doll Girl's mind. All else soon began to fade out, gradually transitioning into nothing but static noises and the battle of the two's minds would start up once more. Obstacles? They were nothing. Barriers? They were meant to be broken. Precautions? They were nothing but thoughts in the wind. Everything standing in the way of Cirno and her single-track mind of victory were not going to be so easily put to an end by one who takes the crown of a broken doll.

Trying to block her out? The witch hadn't the strength to muster to hold back the face of The Angel's true strength. These pitiful walls that were erected were all but swiftly brought down as the will of Cirno shattered them as if they were nothing but puddy within her hands. And cutting her connection? The child could only let out a boastful laugh as the winch failed to sever the actual telepathic link which was forged. She focused on the Iramasha, and not to the secondary link established when the bond with Cirno was made. For when she was speaking with the likes of Shisome, The Angel had not referred to the Iramasha Sync; but rather, a personal bond shared between akin to the one her and The Ziamichi shared.

So long with that, with the state of mind Cirno was in, even if Lilium attempted to destroy this bond; Cirno's will would not allow that. With the fragility of this woman's will, this woman's strife and this woman's mind; it was nothing more than a shattered piece of disposable refuse ready to be burned at the cross by that which was The Angel's pure and utter determination. NO. IT WOULD NOT BE BROKEN OR DEFIED BY SOMETHING SO MENTALLY WEAK AND PATHETIC. Even if this miserable excuse for a human dared to make such claims as having the power of god, Cirno would summon the needed willpower to crush even those grandiose delusions of the twisted and deeply deprived female that contorted Shisome's soul. Therefore, with this burning inclination surging within The Holy Spirit's psyche, the bar which was meant to be unpassed, the line that was never to be crossed, had been completely obliterated in the wake of their mental forces clashing with one another. The walls of Shisome's soul would be bared naked for Cirno to pay tribute to, as nothing this depraved and anemic creature did could phase The Angel so long as this was a battle of mental strengths.

Therefore, this breakthrough into the Doll Girl's heart and soul allowed The Iramasha to pay tribute to the one-way conversation that Lilium was giving Shisome. Standing within the pit of spirit, Cirno merely scoffed at the words of absurdity that this creature spoke. Babbling rubbish about their bond never being understood by outsiders, muttering sweet nothings about possession and ultimately filling the girl's head with nothing but delusions. It sickened The Angel to see such a thing. Was this feeble-minded woman so weak that this was her only means of combat? Fighting against a spirit which hadn't the strength to fight back? What a joke, what a bad excuse for a monster. It was time to put an end to this show, to cut the curtain of this terrible act and unveil the truth once and for all.

Walking across the waters of Shisome's essence, memories trickled over Cirno and the confined nature of The Doll Girl's mind was something that could not be tolerated any further. Widening her wings and extending to the corners of this spirit, she'd attempt to uncover the mysteries that lay behind this blackened enigma. The truth behind the clouds of this play were all but imminent; for her will demanded that these memories of another be brought to the surface so that all could be unified as one whole. There was something blocking the true nature of Shisome from being fully expelled, and The Angel was going to recover it no matter what stood her way. Such interference could not be ignored, such knowledge could not be sealed any further and such meddling would not be tolerated by this demented witch.

"You may or may not be one in the same, as this could indeed be an illusion; but you are nothing more than a coward to prey on such easy flesh. I have never met an entity with the amount of awful aura I taste from you. The words you speak are nothing but arrogant, misleading and a guise to hide your broken will. It's time we put an end to this dance, Nasty Lady. Let me peer into the depth of this spirit and unleash the true mind's eye." When speaking such words, it appeared to be that The Fairy was speaking as two entities as once. One was her usual childish tone of speaking, and the other was a further matured voice that sounded more intent in nature than even The Ice Angel herself.

Nevertheless, Cirno would release a large summoning of her will into an intangible force to force Lilium away from touching Shisome any further. From there, she'd slam her fist into The Doll's soul in order to inject these lost and cryptic memories back into her mind. They seemed to be suppressed, sealed and had some sort of dark aura around them; leaving Cirno to assume these were meant to be obstructed and sealed away from Shisome. So going out on a limb, whatever these recollections were, one of them must hold a key to The Vanguard Leader finding her path and assuming control once more. And if it was anything like Cirno's own quest to assemble the former consciousness of Shiro Iramasha, The Previous Angel of the Ice, then this should prove to be effective as the same disharmony that laid within Cirno's shattered mind was transpiring within this spirit's soul as well. Hence, on this gamble, she'd hope these foreign memories would awaken her once more. Much anguish, pain and death were behind them; but she knew that medicine was one that was bitter and that Shisome was a strong enough person to take this harsh treatment.

"Listen, Miss Shisome, to win this battle you must become one with all you are. I am not sure if you cannot hear me, but deep inside you must come to a peace within yourself and accept that which is the true essence of yourself. It is not this vile beast, and it is not the girl whom you were before this fight; there is a disharmony in your mind, body and soul that you must piece together from these shattered memories. I am not sure what has occurred between you two, but there is something within your spirit that is being blocked from your understanding by this creature that she does not want you to find out. Drink this knowledge, savor it and harness it's fruits to understand what it is you need to do."

It was clear at this point that the likes of Shiro Iramasha was now speaking on behalf of Cirno as the way she spoke, the way her words flow and the knowledge which was uttered seemed vastly different from the likes of Cirno as the Angel's body glowed with a radiate burst of white. The immense and overwhelming willpower that erupted like a raging volcano within the girl had spread throughout the walls of Shisome's soul to block any sort of interference from Lilium should she decide to interfere at any point. The will factor coming into play once again, Cirno formulated a dense mental barrier that could only be destroyed by weakening the child's own willpower or waiting until she was no longer to sustain such a feat; and luckily The Iramasha had pure determination stored within herself in spades.

Corroding the walls that consumed The Himecut girl, they would soon turn to sunder and crumble into ash as if to free the girl from her prison and allow her a fighting chance to partake in this fight and show this wicked creature what she was made of. Meanwhile, with the true objective at hand, The Will of The Iramasha soon spiraled into a hurricane of sheer force as it attempted to destroy any and all influence, control or torment that Lilium was attempting to inflict on Shisome. Throughout the walls of this mental space, there would be no such manipulation as Cirno's willpower soon attempted to erase the lies that Lilium spread, to dispel the illusions on Shisome's mind and to shatter her reign of despair in one shattering and painful first of drive, resolution and force of determination to obliterate this obstacle that stood in the path of her recovery and allowed her to see the truth of it all.

"And to you, wicked villain, the time of your masquerade is coming to an end. The strings which you try to hold above others will come burning to nothing more than ash in the wind. No matter what occurs here, I will stake my life at saving this child from your grasp. Even if it means killing this girl outright, I will do what it takes to ensure that this task is brought to fruition and will guide her spirit towards becoming a Shinigami if I must. You truly underestimate both I and Cirno's commitment to this endeavour to believe otherwise. To hide behind such pitiful deceptions, to hide within the shadow's of a persons mind and to fight by such indirect means indicates you are nothing more than a feeble-minded parasite that needs to be purged no matter the cost. So as the Nature Iramashsa stated, You will be ended her one way or another."

Taking a glance over to the likes of The Doll Girl's image, Cirno let out a soft sigh. If she didn't resist it, if she didn't allow those memories to resonate within her and find the answer that Lilium had hid behind her all this time; then they'd truly have no other choice but to kill both her and Lilihum here. An option that was the last line of recourse they wanted to resort to, but if this theory did not hold true, they'd have no other choice but to end them both here and bring them into the next life as purified souls.

"Shisome, please wake up and fight. I understand that it hurts very much so, but you have to fight it. Take this curse and turn it into a blessing. Your spirit may be on the edge of destruction, but we want to help you come back to the path of stability, the road to recovery and help you become one once again. So please, take my hand and come back to us." This was clearly the voice of Cirno as her words echoed throughout soul and attempted to jolt the girl awake to see if it had any effect throughout the calamity of wills clashing within her soul. Holding her out, Cirno would then send a series of soothing , holy energies to bring herself peace of mind and the balance needed to come out of that darkened coma, to ease the pain she was feeling and contiune this battle.

When finished sending that way of support to her, all that was staring down the lunacy of The Creepy Doll's malicious nature, they would not be phased by it's intent as they knew the ambitions they had set forth in this battle of the minds had been marked and they weren't about to be denied after making it this far into the mess. There was no turning back from what has began and through some method this was going to end today. No matter the cost.

Betrayal, that was a funny word. Bonds such as trust and loyalty walked a very fine line between indomitable and brittle and that line could teeter at even the slightest of pushes. However, there was nothing slight about her actions, nothing subtle about her behavior, nothing redeeming about her. Lilium took his trust, his adoration, his love, his friendship, and she turned it on its head for incredibly misguided and completely idiotic reasons. Whether she intended to gain an enemy was irrelevant, whether she thought he’d understand was irrelevant. At a certain point, the reasons stop mattering, the justifications stop being relevant, the excuses stop being valid, Lilium had crossed that point. In an ideal world, things wouldn’t be black and white, actions would be judged on their intention, meaning would be construed and all would be forgiven simply because it was explained, unfortunately, human beings and all creatures construed similarly were disgusting. They cannot handle the power of forgiveness, it goes to their heads, makes them entitled, makes them believe they can do whatever they please simply because other people will rationalize it for them for the sake of friendship. They abuse the power of understanding because they’re either too lazy, scared or just outright selfish and stubborn to use it for that which it is meant. Lilium broke his trust, Lilium ruined their friendship, Lilium sacrificed people who loved her to sate her need for attention and her drive to please herself and now, it was biting her on the ass. Sagumi was done putting up with it and he was going to remove her from this Earth.

Or, he was, until a powerful concussive force would, seemingly from nowhere descend upon him. If it were anyone else who didn’t have such supreme mastery over their own body and level of balance, it might have done more, or perhaps if it had attempted to put more persistent pressure on him, but as the force descended upon him, Sagumi’s hands reflexively moved to right himself, the right tiger shot careening aimlessly off target and away from anyone who it might have otherwise caused harm to and the left one smacking into the ground fifteen meters away from their position.. Sagumi, almost like it were a dance and completely expected, oriented himself in the air and landed artfully on his feet, skidding slightly on the ground and looking not remotely worse for the wear as he glared up at the new arrival. He was a strange one and normally Sagumi would give a greater evaluation of him, take in some information, survey the scene, probably make some snarky passive aggressive comment about validating the hairdressing profession, but right now the situation was becoming a little too rich for his blood. As much as he wanted to destroy Lilium, he was that much more fond of living and now there were too many variables. He was a pragmatic man and did not enjoy fighting against too many unknowns at once. He did not understand the girl they named Shisome, he did not know how Lilium was possessing her, he did not understand the point of the other girl, and now with this new, wild haired creature arriving, the situation was becoming severely convoluted and the most efficient decision would be to retreat and simply reacquire the girl named Shisome later, when there were not so many competitors, it shouldn’t be difficult to isolate and take custody of her, kill her if he had to.

He resolved then that he was leaving this situation. He hadn’t actually tried to use the Soaring Divine Bellow or any of his Fuuinjutsu since he had materialized in this world, his soul simply hadn’t been strong enough, or perhaps complete enough, to fully utilize the full range of his powers from the previous world. Since he had reunited with Nozomi however, in multiple ways, wink wink nudge nudge, he was feeling far more...himself. He was feeling whole, like a piece that had been missing for millennia was suddenly returned to him. He had felt stronger than he had ever felt and if there was ever a time for the technique to work, it was now. As the twin dragons descended toward him, Sagumi desperately hoped that Shify had got himself out of the area before that barrier had erected itself. His hopes were affirmed. The girl’s attack would crash in to the ground where Sagumi was once standing, and only the ground. His energy signature would vanish completely and it wouldn’t be all that surprising if they thought he had completely been vaporized, but no more than a fraction of a fraction of a second had passed before Sagumi was miles away, in no man’s land between cities and standing on top of a rather infuriated Red Panda, leaving before Cirno or anyone else could influence him further.

Shify had always carried his sword and since their time in the other world, that sword had always been etched with Sagumi’s seal. His reaction was expected, if comical. At first it was fury, Sagumi had more or less manifested into being out of thin air and on to Shify’s sword, and by extension Shify, and while Sagumi was not a big man per say, he was still significantly heavier than Shify. The response that followed next was amazement that after all this time, Sagumi had regained his ability to use Fuuinjutsu, amazement that was quickly replaced with rage filled expletives that his first use of the ability in six thousand years was to land on top of him. Sagumi wasn’t listening however as, even with his limited sensing abilities, he noticed a familiar energy, Nozomi’s energy. She was in Australia and if the rest of the country was experiencing the same problems that Wollawalladingleberry was, she might be in danger...or at the very least she was involved. Sagumi would need to investigate why she was here and possibly fighting without bothering to tell him. As such, Sagumi made his way toward her energy signature, leaving behind memories best left forgotten for the time being.

Shani’s eyes flickered towards the direction of Shisome as Cirno began to talk to her, urging her to leave the city for now. At this request, Shani’s eyes hardened, she had not been expecting the young one here to tell her to leave. She was still a fighter, and to tell her to leave the battle field, frankly it insulted Shani. She had her pride, and the words Cirno spoke hurt in ways that she had never been hurt before. Her pride had been insulted, and this was not something Shani would stand for. However, she knew she could not become upset at her new friend. After all, it had not been Cirno’s intention to do so, she had just been worried about Shani’s safety. Taking a deep breath, she spoke up, her voice firm as she spoke.

“I am sorry, but I cannot fulfill your wish. It is one thing to limit my involvement, it is an entirely different thing to abandon my friends on a battle field. However, I will accept your gift with my whole being, and I hope you understand why I am refusing to leave this place.”

She took a calming breath as the sphere attached itself to her chest and sink through, the young half demon fully accepting Cirno’s gift to her. Within her, she could feel something within her stirring, the demon blood in her veins surging forth where it had previously been suppressed. Nodding towards Cirno, Shani spoke in a soft voice, turning towards the likes of Shisome.

“Thank you so much, and I wish you luck in helping Shisome. Whatever that vile menace is, I can tell you it is nothing like Shisome. It would not be wise to underestimate her though, she has powers far beyond what one would expect from someone like her.”

It was then that Shani saw the new male land within the area, feeling his immense power, and she understood now. This was not a battle she could be a part of, for if she stayed she would just be a hindrance to Cirno. Compared to those here, she was the weakling, she was the one who would need to be protected above all else. She realized that Cirno was right, she should leave this place for her presence was only going to hinder Cirno, she could not help here. Sighing softly, she turned to Cirno and spoke once more.

“On second thought, I think I will leave this situation to you. I will go see if there is any other place I can be of help to, and hopefully we will see each other once again. Take care, friend.”

With that She turned, the wings of light beating behind her as she took off, flying out of the city as she searched for somewhere her powers would be of use in. She would go where she thought she was needed, help there and then move on. This was her decision, and so she left Wollongong, the city getting smaller as she looked back, sighing as she flew off in to the distance.
