(OOC NOTE: Since there hasn't been a post in this thread in two months, I'm just going to assume that Shisome fell into unconsciousness and that Moonie was able to care for her body after that battle of wills inside of Shisome's head. It's been long enough.)
As a flash of light flared over the horizon of the outskirts of Wollongong, it appeared that this conflict was all but coming to an end. Yes, with the withdrawal of both the human who addressed himself as Sagumi and the Ziamichi that was Shani, these were two additional outcomes that were helpful towards defusing the tension in this city. Hearing words of encouragement from the newly enlightened girl, Cirno was relieved to hear that Shani managed to at least take some good out of this war. Pleased to hear that her powers managed to at least do some good in the battle of Wollongong, a sigh of relief exited out of the crystal haired angel. Although, from the looks of things, it seemed there was an equal amount of negative actions in the air that had been made into reality.
Gazing upon the comatose body of the girl who referred to herself as "The Doll Girl", The Angel of the Ice could only look on with a vacant stare after she soon came back to reality following her conflict against Lilium within the inner world of The Vanguard Leader. There really wasn't much of a thought to be had for the poor girl, honestly. After exhausting a bit of her mental energy on the creature, she simply was -- empty. Yes, Cirno, the child that was once full of so much life, had such a dead expression etched across her face. No joy was to be found in encountering such vile opponents like Lilium, nor was there anything to gain from overpowering a lost soul like Shisome. It was a sham, a mockery and an utter disgrace.
So, with a heavy sigh, the skies around the surrounding vicinity of Wollong's city started to dip in temperatures as a strong chill crippled many miles. In toe with the Ice Fairy's dim outlook, the reishi that her energy left began the process of resonating with this dull and void sensation within the Iramasha. In a few minutes time, the entire section of Wollongong could feel like a frozen winters day. Temperatures lowering to the point of going below freezing in response to this aura. Hence, in accordance with this shift, as the heavens turned to grey, the heart of The Iramasha reflected much the same coldness. Not caring rather or not Shisome would get up again, she'd have to turn a blind-eye to the dawn of this unwelcoming outcome. Sensing that her actual physical well-being was in tact, Cirno started to simply walk away from the altercation altogether once Lilium rampage had been put to an end by that clash of wills. Surely Moonie Iramasha could seek to pick up the pieces of whatever was left of the woman. What this battle left imprinted on the psyche of The Angel, however, was something that couldn't be so easily repaired. It left Cirno questioning rather or not the human world was as vile as rumor had it on Iramasha Island.
As she'd walk throughout the outlands of Australia, the depths of her spirit sank lower as she came across many sorts of fresh corpses from the conflict. Many of them were humans, others the remains of Shinigami and some even Iramasha. The bodies of her brethren were easily judged as such based on the symbol of the Iramasha Clan being sown into their clothing and faint traces of inner chaos energy seeping outwards into their body. Looking at the trail of white energy soaring into the clouds above, Cirno assumed that her kins spirits were returning back to their homelands on Iramasha Island. Exhaling another deep breath, a more brooding expression crept across the young girl's face as a reaction to this scene of decay. The smell of the dead was truly something hard to forget; and she'd remember it well. The very pits of The Frozen Angel's stomach were ready to release their contents if she weren't so -- detached -- for the time being. Could it have been shell shock? Perhaps. It's quite the load to bare for a person who has the unsteady and naive physiology of a child.
With the reflection of a crimson flame illuminating from The Angel's eyes, the burning embers of a town ravaged by war stopped the Ice Fairy in her tracks. There wasn't any sign of life for awhile, as she had came to stop over a hill-top that overviewed a small, unnamed town. Transitioning her face to that which resembled a gloomy look, Cirno questioned her once boastful and battlelust-like nature that she once possessed at the start of this whole conflict. Was she truly so eager as to jump into the pits of hell like this? The smell of rotting flesh, dying moans and lost of life was enough to make her have regrets about joining this war to begin with.
So, as the pounding sensation of a sharp headache echoed into the girl's mind, Cirno grabbed her skull in pain as side effects from her assault upon Lilium started to come into play. Never having utilized the extent of her will's strength in such a fashion against an opponent, it left the young girl's head with a strong grasp of agony infiltrating itself into every nook and cranny of the Iramasha's mind. Not in all of her life had The Ice Fairy experienced such a strong volume of ache overflowing within her mind. Yet, even as her physical symptoms grew amplified in it's suffering, it paled in comparison to the shattering of her once innocent world. The battle had been won, yet something was greatly lost within Cirno.
The lost of innocence and childlike trusting may have been some choice words to choose to explain this sensation. It was a grim taste of what reality had in store; that what she had been assigned to was certainly not another game to so blindly venture forth into. Clenching her fist in disgust with herself, The Angel was then seen collapsing to her knees with grief. In response to this rarely felt emotion, she'd hit the ground with a bloodied fist and cry out at frustration for towards her conscious for allowing herself to be so thrilled to partake in this -- murder. It was all nothing but a massacre under the guise of hope in the eyes of the young girl. It conflicted heavily with her idealized world. A world where everyone was who they said they were, good was just; evil was bad and the spectrum of justice was overall black and white.
This distortion of colors in her worldview left The Angel of The Ice so greatly dismayed, intertwined into sorrow and left with a sense of despair. With tears in her eyes, she'd pay tribute to a few Iramasha Soldiers exhausting the lives of those whom they were sworn to protect: Humans. Albeit that they were Monsuta Operative, the savage way in which they were stabbed, burned and ultimately eradicated left Cirno at a lost for words. In fact -- she went utterly silent. Not having seen such brutality in any of the battles, fights or training she had endured up until now; this was a bitter pill to swallow and one she wasn't entirely sure that she could accept.
So, in this lack of movement; her fellow allies took this as a sign of sickness and rushed to her side after realizing the rank in which The Angel of the Ice stood at in the echelons of The Iramasha Military. It was one thing for The Iramasha to pursue after individuals with great strength, but in this moment, Cirno had to ask: did she have what it takes to do her job efficiently anymore? Closing her eyes and falling under a false act of being faint, Cirno let herself be seized by her comrades in arms as they said sweet words like: "Everything will be alright", "You are in good hands now", "Stay with us now" and any other means of comfort they could think to utter out of their moves. Despite their kind hearted efforts, the blow had already been struck; but it wasn't anything physical. This was a physiological wound that was going to take great time to recover.
And thus, in this rude awakening, the war was over for Cirno. There would be no more blood, no more tears and no more life wasted on this day. The fury of this war's fire was coming to it's grand finale, many forces were tying up loose ends and the cries of victory echoed out from the soldiers who successfully conquered Wollongong. Indeed, within a flash, through the usage of their infamous teleporation technique known as "Chaos Warp", her body was transported. Where was it, one might ask? Held inside of an air carrier in the skies above the battletorn continent. Being used as a medical treatment facility, she'd be allow to rest within a soft, white bed and bandages wrapped around her skull and right fist. Although, as the girl opened up one eye, she'd be given a front eyed view of just what was left behind. It seemed as if she could see all of the destruction, all of the carnage and all of the death associated with such a brutal battle. Quivering in sickness, her body seemed to be reacting to the great change in her psyche. In the deepest pits of her mind, she honestly hoped to never have to endure this kind of battle ever again for as long as she lived.
