In the crisp dawn light, in a forest in the outermost reaches of the soul society, Far from sight, far from mind, a place which to shinigami could be considered not even to exist, a fairy forest, a phantom forest, one which had never felt the impact of man, so remote that it would be probably never found, unless on accident. With its foggy wet condensation building up from a heavy rain earlier. No animals lived in this forest, it was a perfect state of preservation, so rare in this day and age that it was like stepping into another time period, something all together different something free untamed, without the restrictions that have been dealt to the world. No it shone proud, the soft green’s moist and soft, rain droplets rolling down leafy green vegetation, cascading from the canopy which was easily covered completely by clouds, to sound like a million tiny steps running all at once in different directions, the way the light hit the forest, to give it a light green hue, muted by the white of the fog, cooled by the mist in the fog, a place out of a fairy tail. . . if you could ever find something worthy of being called that..

A quiet forest, all you could hear was the trickling of the rain, the life giving rain which came down from above, the soft browns of the forest. . . The hard bark of the tree’s rough and old, built up over many lifespans tree’s that stood proud, virgin and concerned of nothing, piercing into the heavens, casting their shadows against what little light filtered down to the forest floor. It was too unreal, it had tree’s that could easily look like houses, growing large tall, to thick for modern tools to cut, with roots that could tower over even a 7 foot person hanging there with vines growing off them, soft green and brown vines which had berries growing from them, odd berries with multiple colors present, blue’s and greens.. reds and blacks.. and even some yellow’s could be seen in the berry bearing vines. Possibly not all the way ripe, by the look of things it was almost like everything was moving slowly, a place which was the spitting image of something straight out of a blockbuster film, the kind of terrain that could move a persons soul, it was just amazing..

Glowing blue flowers hanging from tree branches luminous to illuminate the way even though it was still almost day time, the forest was cold, and damp it honestly lacked heat. Though its beauty couldn’t be denied, as if you went further in, between towering tree’s you could see strange plants, such as mushrooms, or Venus fly-trap, though they all fed off of other sources, and animals.. they didn’t exist here as said before, it just seemed to be something someone made, all alone and then forgotten as if it was a impulse to build such a paradise, and then it just was left there.. for someone else to find it if they could ever look far enough to get to it, though if you went beyond the tree’s through the bushes, and into the heart of the forest; you could see a large lake.. a glass smooth lake with flowers floating across the surface floating there as everything seemed to be moving calmly, as if time had no meaning, a forest that had no end nor a beginning, one that was somehow a gem, one that had been hidden from the prying eyes of the spiritual world.

In that lake , floating lightly on the water without causing ripples, something so still that you could say that it was a part of the scenery itself, was a girl; one which as the luminous plants cast a glow on her frame, had the distinct color of a lovely, solid gold.. hair color one that was thick, and radiant, as if it was made from the purest precious metal that was of the same exact color, a flawless gold without imperfections, it floated in the water, fanning out as if it was a kind of plant , curling slightly, the hair could distinctly in this dim light, be seen to have tiny wavesin them, as if it was made by artists imagination, it curled lightly even in the water, softly like a golden halo, worthy of belonging up in mount Olympus, something that obviously shouldn’t be possible to have, in a world of living and mundane, there was imperfection and strife.. though here was.. something that could be considered perfection, even in itself. .

It was a girl who’s skin was the color of a white rabbit, or snow. . . The purest falling snow, or you could even say the color of spotless alabaster, as fair as the snow, as if she had been robbed of pigment, however you couldn’t say the skin was of a ugly shade, it was like a smooth canvas that had never been drawn on, a soft creamy white which wasn’t over powering, which contrasted with the waters azure color, with the light that was tinged green, obscured by the fog which caressed the forest like a pair of loving parental hands, keeping it out of site, yet the girl even though it was so unlikely anyone should be there, was there, floating under the water, fully submerged, hands held together on her lap.. while she looked like a delicate fairy , a being of the forest which had popped out of some supernatural fairytale, with gentle features, which where both pleasing, and breathtaking to look at, soft curves, and a full lip, the color of a gentle pink, not the overpowering red that you might associate with a fairytale, but a soft pink which seemed more human.. then anything else, anything else that could be seen on her body.

She wore some clothes, a ragged cloak, one which looked worn from travel, she didn’t have shoes on, she was naked other than the cloak, showing what made her a woman, though it was obscured under the mysterious rippling waves of the pond, which reflected light from the forest back up into the sky, as if it was a mirror, and the girl was floating on the other side of the border, suspended there trapped on the other side, unable to feel the clock moving, the light was rising over the horizon.. catching the forest’s fog, and sides, casting a magical glow along its depths, making it look indeed like something of a fairyland. . .

Deep inside the forest there was another light, and the faint feeling of massive spiritual pressure, could it be from the girl that was floating in the mirror smooth pond?.. Could it be the blue soft flickering lights that saturated the interior of the forest, that might just be it.. Spiritual pressure flooding the inside of the forest, hard to detect by most.. because it was so much that it could just go beyond some peoples.. recognition . . all-together, but even then they looked like dancing fireflies in the light, and illuminated.. a old lieutenant’s badge, worn and scorched as if by a great.. force.. all in this.. wonderful.. forest..

"...How in the hell did I end up here?" Though the Soul Society was no means a small place, most of its denizens generally didn't end up getting lost within its borders. Of course, once one decided to leave the boundaries of the Rukongai, go out past district 80... well, then all bets were off. Even in this day and age, aside from some outlying settlements and one or two discovered locations, there were a lot of area of the Soul Society that simply had not been explored. Perhaps it was because of the rather strict rules that governed the place and managed to keep order, or perhaps it was because those who had already passed on did not wish to explore into dangerous locations right outside of their borders, but whatever the case such areas simply had not been intruded upon much... at least until today.

Though he may not be a resident of the Soul Society or a member of the Gotei 13 anymore, a currently rather lost Ravana had made his way to the Soul Society earlier this day. Though he had no real plans of what to do, he really had nothing else better planned for the day, so he had hoped to visit his old home for a sort of nostalgia. Of course, no longer being a member of the Gotei but instead a member of the Vizard Corps, he very well couldn't just go barging into the Seireitei... at least not without an actual reason, and while he had visited his old home in the Rukongai's 78th district, that wasn't quiet enough "adventure" to fill up a whole day. So, deciding to be "brave" (though bored would be a much better description), Ravana had made his way out of the Rukongai and had begun to explore the areas outside of the settled Soul Society.

At first, everything had gone pretty well; having managed to pass by a couple of the outlying settlements Ravana had not actually become lost during his little adventure. Of course, such luck never actually held out for this man, and after a couple hours of aimless wandering, he ended up becoming quite... completely lost. To make matters worse, not only did he have no clue in hell where he was, but judging by the cloud formation in the sky (something one would often forget even happens within the Soul Society) chances were that it was going to begin raining soon. "Fuck, the one time I come here they decide to actually let it rain" he cursed to himself, before quickly looking around for anywhere to take cover. Luckily, for a while now, Ravana had been wandering closer to what appeared to be a rather large, overgrown forest, and while it still looked like it would be raining within it, at the very least the tree cover looked dense enough to where he would not become completely drenched. Pausing only a moment to sigh at his odd luck, he quickly began to run over to this imposing forest; opting to move normally instead of using shunpo.

Once within the dense canopy of trees... well, to be honest, Ravana could no longer tell whether this had been a good or a bad idea. Though from the outside nothing had seemed too odd about this forest, aside from its rather large size and location so far away from any settled area of the Soul Society, once he was inside, everything had changed. All around him were these large trees, looking as if they had been left to grow for countless millennium without any human intervention, all covered in vines that managed to even dwarf him; and Ravana was pretty tall standing at about 6'3". Not only that, but all around him there were odd flowers; not just because of their size, but also because of their colors and... wait, was that plant just glowing? Hell, all around him Ravana could sense a very odd spiritual pressure; not coming from any person but instead emanating from the forest itself, truly signifying it as a true living being. Had it not been for the two other spiritual pressures he sensed shortly thereafter, Ravana probably would have just turned tail and left, as this truly did not feel like the kind of place that any man should enter. Well, that, and by now, he could already hear the steady downpour of rain above the canopy of trees; and while it may have been getting a little wet in there, it was nothing compared to how drenched he would have been has he not entered. "Well, nothing ventured, nothing gained I suppose" he said to himself with a shrug, before making his way deeper into the jungle.

While it probably would have been wise to simply stay put at the edge of the jungle, Ravana had to admit that this place was making him rather curious; and besides, he was able to sense at least two other persons within the jungle, though the ambient spiritual pressure made it hard to actually determine how strong theirs was. Making his way towards the two persons he vaguely sensed, Ravana took his time getting there; choosing to marvel at the beauty of nature around himself as he proceeded. Hell, had he not known that most movies were made by CGI, he would have sworn that he had just walked onto the set of some major Hollywood film... well, either that or onto the set of the live action version of "Ferngully". Still, joking aside, Ravana was gradually making his way towards the two spiritual pressures he sensed, and rather soon he saw what looked to be a clearing up ahead of himself.

Stepping into the clearing, Ravana was met with a rather odd sight; not only did the rain seem unable to penetrate this space, but in the center there laid a very peculiar pond. Stepping cautiously up to the lake, Ravana was almost mesmerized by its glass-like quality; its surface held together so tight that it served as a perfect mirror for the top of the jungle. Noticing that he was not alone, Ravana did not pay his full attention to the other man sitting beside the lake, though not out of any disrespect. No, instead, Ravana's attention had become quickly caught by something he saw floating within the lake... something known as the body of a young girl.

As soon as he saw the young girl's body in the lake, his "heroic" side automatically kicked in, and any thought other than saving her quickly left his mind. Wasting no time at all, he quickly removed his hat, vest and tie, and threw them to the ground beside himself. "Hey, don't just sit there, get ready to help!" he shouted to the man... whom he still hadn't really paid too much attention to, but still not on purpose. To be fair though, he was more focused on getting the young looking girl out of the water and hopefully while she was still alive. Of course, he was positive that this girl had been the other spiritual pressure that he had sensed, as he could still sense her presence despite her being submerged. While this did let him know that she was still alive, he actually didn't take the time to see how powerful it was... or whether or not it was in any actual danger. Then again, the ambient spiritual pressure of the forest still made it difficult to get an accurate reading on that.

Without a moment's hesitation, Ravana dove into the crystal clear lake, his entrance finally breaking its serene surface tension. Quickly, though he had never actually received any formal training, he swam out to the girl's body, took a hold of her, and making sure to lift her head out of the water, swam with her back to the shore. Once again, as he did this, his mind was focused only on what he thought was saving a girl from drowning, so as he swam her back to shore he was not actually thinking to check for any signs of life... or danger. Getting her body up on the bank of the river, Ravana too quickly got out of the water, and before he could make his next move, he soon came across his next danger: this girl was naked.

Blushing almost instantly, Ravana had absolutely no clue what to do. Now that his initial adrenaline had died down, he could sense that her spiritual pressure was still there and actually rather strong, so her life wasn't in too much danger... but she still didn't have any clothes. Well, actually, she did at one point have some article of clothing, but in the whole rush of "saving" her, the ragged cloak that she had worn was somehow left back in the lake. Still panicking a bit, and not knowing what else to do, Ravana quickly unbuttoned his green shirt, took it off (revealing his rather well toned physique), and used it to cover the girls... rather delicate looking white skin. Actually, once he had managed to cover her body (thanks to his shirt being obviously too big for the girl) Ravana was actually able to realize that this girl was actually quite beautiful. "Damnit man, this is so not the time for that" he said to himself, before going back to kneel over the girl's body. Not quite sure what to do, he reached down and placed his left hand against the side of her head, brushing up against her golden hair. "Uh... h-hey there... are you alright?" he timidly asked, before awaiting a response.

“Do I hear voices..?”

Dully in the back of magnolia’s mind, she was sinking, with the lack of the signature, she had finally met her. . . Claire , the memory rosary. She knew what made her pain real, those memories had taken their toll after the meeting, she had passed out, midway through a garganta. . For near a month (Real time) she had been slumbering the forest had been feeding off the massive spiritual pressure. Slowly her fingers twitched, slowly as if waking from a deep dream, flames fading from the front of her mind. Her mother was burning again she could only look and turn away, as the flames consumed everything her life, and her purpose she had been saved.. by the one person she had wanted.. to hate most.. but these memories, of despair and sadness echoed in her mind, she walked by each one on her path to consciousness she felt the cold mist the rain, she walked along the endless pillars the abysmal pillars which had now been filled to the brim, they had barely held the memories of the memory rosary, all those memories that now could be called her own as well.

Slowly she walked by her own sad past, each bad thing, each good thing, the moments that had changed her life, and the moments that drug her back into sadness once more. They all flowed by like clockwork in the flow of time her feet where the clicking of the hand turning, time was moving forward as she slowly was walking by each one, hey eyes dulled as slowly life was coming back to them, even though she had handled it at the initial time, she was in pain now, her heart ached but she knew that she had to keep going, as her inner world was throwing images about , she slowly walked by the throne, where her zan-spirit sat the identical version of her , had slowly asked as Magnolia walked by, her body was covered in clothes, though she hadn’t really noticed much stopping only when her zan spirit addressed her directly, the zans voice was like a weeping angels song, one that was still regal like a queens, her piercing bi-colored gaze prying into magnolia’s inner most thoughts.

“Can you handle it, can you honestly move on. Is it in your power to keep going despite what you know now, your life is turned upside down, you lost faith in humanity hadn’t you? Do you still have faith, or is that faith forgotten, you fell so far into despair, you know what true despair is now, but tell me magnolia, do you honestly have the strength, to get back up. Have you gained the backbone needed to carry this burden step-by-step? “

Magnolia stopped she could feel her Zanpakutō spirits gaze her words flying into magnolia like daggers but she only had exhaled slowly her eyes downcast as they brimmed softly with her tears, tears which fell down into the spirit world, her own voice was sad, but filled with a calmness, as if she was used to the degree of pain now, a small smile a sad smile playing onto her features, while she looked up at where the sky should be and she said, in her own beautiful voice.

“I don’t know what is right, or what is wrong anymore I haven’t the faith in humanity, or in loyalty this world gave birth to pain, and suffering all on itself, but like a flower that has bloomed attracting bee’s with the temptation of sweet nectar, I am attracted to the idea of finding out for myself what this world feels how it deals with things, to find that truth, I must go back I have a purpose still Lotus, I will not stay in the dark anymore it’s time for me to return to the light” –

Then the scene shattered, Magnolia slowly stepped out of her mind as her body in the reality was glowing a soft blue, like fireflies of a different shade, like the water a pure azure, a pretty blue, a pure blue. One that signified spiritual energy, one that looked like sapphire, soft and gentle, it was coming off her like embers come off a fire, slowly rising into the air, spiraling out. Growing and glowing it would have illuminated the smooth glass and the forest, which slowly was glowing a brilliant blue, coming to life, as it had been feeding off her energy, growing strong. Sealed flowers bloomed and pedals began to fall as thunder rumbled somewhere over head, her hair that golden hair, that was like precious locks thick and clean, was gently moving in the air, as a blue corona , or outline had slowly been taking shape.

A single tear fell from her left eye, rolling down beneath the thick illustrious golden lashes, and falling into the grass, while slowly the blue energy was growing, blossoming with spiritual pressure, overwhelming spiritual pressure, which was beautiful to watch, like floating gems in the moonlight, or the sparkling reflection of the morning dawn off water, it was brilliant, her snowy white skin seemed to be luminous from the spiritual pressure, which slowly had begun to completely cover her form in the azure corona of energy, softly glowing bright and pure as it would have expanded outwards and begun to dissipate as the girls eyes slowly opened, blue energy pure spiritual energy, in its finest form was so strong that probably anyone under a tier of 2-1 would have a hard time sensing it all together, but the blue was almost like pedals the way it came off her and floated in the air in chunks, soft fireflies in the night, her mouth with her soft pink lips had begun to open, while she’d taken a soft breath, and through her slightly opened lashes she could see a face, ..she woke up to a face.. with the feel of cold air.. moving on her exposed body..

“Is that.. a man?.. What is he saying.. is he distressed. . He looks distressed . . . I wonder what’s going on , did something happen to him.. I should.. probably ask him… but.. is it a man.. –“..She had thought, her eyes slowly being revealed from under her lashes, that she had different-colored eyes. One was the color of deep sapphire, a vibrant and spectacular blue, almost like a national treasure, it looked like it.. belonged to a artist.. drawn rather.. then being from reality.. it just looked that clear; The other eye, was the color of an amber rich gold, clear as can be, but with a soft luminosity to it, almost like her eye the gold one was glowing. Yet they accented and offset each other.. both her eyes did it so well that it gave startling life to her pale face, bringing out and uniting the whole of it. And those eyes right then looked up in wonder, looked up in what could be wonder, widening slowly, they focused on the scene before them more precisely on the man in front of them.

She could see it clearer now, though her eyes still cringed from the sudden dim light, after being closed for so long, they had to adjust to the light, so she had slowly blinked, her body was lifting up, as one of her delicate hands had pressed on the ground as she had almost in a single fluid movement, like watching a professional dancer moving, she had gone from laying down to standing, the article of clothing falling off her body, as she had slowly raised her hands up in-front of her gaze taking them in , before slowly she began looking at the scenery, taken by surprise, at just how beautiful it was, a slight wind was blowing from the east, as her hair was dancing in the wind, tangling, and blowing softly she looked like the image of a goddess, as spiritual energy was flowing off her slowly literally, it was overwhelming but for now that wasn’t important, she slowly had turned her body, looking at the scenery, her eyes looked huge, as she seemed to be staring out in disbelief and amazement, but other than that, just sheer wonder at it all, like it was a dream, about to vanish like smoke.

Her eyes took it all in, she looked down at the ground through eyes covered by lashes a smile on her face as she had sank down to her knee’s slowly her hair covering her in a curtain, while at first it came softly, a deep.. musical sound, which was tortured .. like the true sound of despair, it was a heart-wrenching sound, like something that was truly broken, and unable to be fixed, that is how it sounded while her eyes had been still looking at the ground, tears mixing with blood from the fact that her spiritual pressure still could hurt her some. . .Her mouth opened- but words didn’t come out it was a soft crying but one with a profound sense of loss. All those memories, even though she had been happy when receiving them, where taking their toll, the memories of many hung up in her mind as she felt the sadness, the fear.. and ultimately the despair, it was like a knife in her heart it hurt so much, like something was broken inside that was the only.. real way to explain how she felt, even though this place was so beautiful It might have been because it was so breathtakingly gorgeous.

The sight of something so ..pure so out of this world, like a picture of the biblical garden that Adam and Eve lived in, while her body dripped from the water, her naked body, she didn’t care she just was slowly crying not that full out sobbing some people do, but a quiet.. soft kind of crying which was infinitely worse, something gentle.. so easily broken, a flower that never wilts.. a flower that never fades, her mouth slowly had said something to no one, though probably no one but herself would get the saying in the first place, as if whispered from the lips of an angel, she said the words, which carried so much sorrow, the truth of despair, and the hope of something new, and eternal.. sadness.

“Forgotten, in the fire, living in the cold, was I forsaken, walking with you every step.. a million heartbeats marked all that was left.. “

Her words said it all, the cold, the loneliness the way the world worked, was this really it, how everything was supposed to come together? Was this what the world honestly had to offer.. she didn’t know but as her shoulders dropped some and she sobbed her tears coming out, her spiritual pressure floating like small embers, floating up into the sky, the slight crackle of energy.. the feel of its monstrous.. power.. magnificent.. breathtaking, as alien as this forest, that came straight out of a fairy tale.. enchanting, like a snow white rabbit, or the dawn after 40days of darkness, her gentle and slender form seemed to fit with the forest, almost as if she belonged there, as she looked like she too was surreal, the rain was hard on the canopy, like a million tiny feet.. the distant dull boom of thunder, in the sky.. was like a soft bang of the drums, muted.. by what was going on.. But.. as she weep, what was the sorrow, that she held onto.. What did it mean, just what was this forest? Was this a beginning, or the end, what would happen, that is when ones life was turned inside out? Only time will tell. .

Crap, this doesn't seem to be working." As Ravana still knelt over the body of the girl he had just pulled out of the lake, she appeared to show no signs of change in her condition. It was actually quite weird, as judging from the signature of her Spiritual Pressure the girl seemed just fine; the only odd thing being that she was still unconscious. Well, ok, the fact that she was naked and that Ravana had found her floating beneath the surface of a lake were also extremely weird facts, but as far as her physical condition went everything seemed normal to him. Not sure what to do, Ravana simply remained by the girls side, his left hand still held gently against the side of her head, as he began to think of what to do next. "I mean... she was definitely drowning, right? Maybe I should try CPR..." he said to himself, trying to figure out just what to do to try and help this girl. Hell, if it weren't for the fact that he could clearly feel her spiritual pressure his first instinct probably would have been to jump to CPR, but it just didn't seem like that would really help right now

While he still had no clue what to do, Ravana figured that he should at least check the girl for some sort of pulse... though given that they were both spiritual beings such a test might not really help anything. Still, as he reached his right hand out to check the girls vital signs, he noticed something that made him stop. As he had moved, Ravana had gotten a better look at the girls face, and from this angle it was clear to him that she was in some sort of pain. Whether it be physical or mental he had no idea, but just going from the look on the girl's face it was clear that something was not right. "Crap... I really should have paid more attention to medical kido" he said, once again to himself, as the situation was clearly proving to be out of his hands. Now, had he come upon this same girl but she had been being attacked, then yeah, he'd know exactly what to do, but this was really more of a job for a medic. Sure, he may have been very well versed in kido, but that only went so far as its battle applications. Of course, he still had to do something, and for all he knew, every second of indecisiveness put this girls life in more danger. If only he could get a glimpse into her mind to know that what ailed her was not physical, but alas, such clairvoyant abilities were beyond him. So, once again moving to attempt something new, this time a crack at some form of healing kido, he was again stopped; but this time by something much more substantial than a look.

As soon as he moved, Ravana noticed that the girl... began to glow blue? Well, ok, the girl herself was not actually glowing blue, but her body was giving off a very pure form of spiritual energy that did glow blue. Of course, to say that he noticed this would have been a bit of an understatement; as in just a few seconds this blue energy had grown to begin illuminating the entire forest. Had he been a weaker man, such an outburst of energy may have been enough to bring him to his knees... or possibly even go over his head thanks to the pure concentration of it all; but luckily this was not the case. No, not only could Ravana very clearly sense the energy emanating from the girls body, he was also able to be unaffected by it... well, save for the fact that due to its brightness it did kinda hurt his eyes. Luckily for him, this luminous outburst did not last forever, and as the energy began to die back down a bit, he noticed that the girl was beginning to move.

"Well now... that sure was something..." Ravana said aloud, though still more to himself, about the sight he had just witnessed. Of course, he didn't have long to focus on what had just happened, because it seemed that the girl he had "saved" was finally stirring from her unconsciousness. As he watched her eyes slowly open, Ravana took note of her heterochromia... though given how starkly her eye colors contrasted each other it would have been kinda hard to miss this fact. Still, while each eye's color was obviously different and distinct, they were actually very pretty. Of course, such thoughts caused Ravana to mentally kick himself so that he did not get distracted from his goal of making sure this girl was alright; and he could not be ogling her body as he did this. "Uh, hey there... are you alright?" he asked the girl again, hoping now that she seemed to be conscious that he would get a reply. Unfortunately, he seemed to be wrong; as though the girl was obviously aware now, it seemed that she was not quite able to respond to him. Sighing a bit to himself, Ravana knew that he would have to be patient; and though he didn't mind this... well, it was never nice when a cute girl (seemingly) ignored you.

Of course, Ravana wasn't given long to think on this possible rejection, as soon the girl was moving, and quickly stood up on her own... with the side effect of losing the shirt he had placed upon her to cover her up. Needless to say, the sight of her bare body again caused the blush to quickly return to Ravana's face, and though he didn't wanna be rude and stare at her (no matter how appealing that prospect was), he did still want to make sure that she was alright. Sighing slightly to himself once again, he stood up, picking the article of clothing up as well, and began to walk closer to the girl. As he did so, however, he noticed something odd. Not only had the girl sunk down to her knees, but while she did have a smile on her face, she was very clearly crying; and it was clear that, for a lack of better words, she was not quite happy. "Oh crap, did I do something to upset her already? Naw, that can't possibly be it..." he thought to himself, as he once again contemplated what to do as he watched the girl.

Making up his mind, Ravana walked up to where the girl was currently kneeling on the ground. As he stepped up behind her, he just barely caught what she was saying; though at the moment it made very little sense to him. Still, he had done all of this to try and help this girl he didn't even know, and even as he felt her spiritual pressure begin to rise again, he was not just gonna leave her. Kneeling down behind the girl, Ravana gently draped his shirt over her shoulders; making sure that it wrapped around her fully before he embraced her in a gentle hug. While he still didn't quite know what he was doing or what would help this girl, he was gonna do whatever he could to cheer her up. "Hey there... it's such a shame to see a pretty girl like you crying... is there anything I can do to cheer you up?" he asked while still gently embracing the girl from behind. Of course, internally he cursed himself, as in his mind what he had just said sounded pretty lame. Still, there was no way to take back his words, and when it came right down to it, they were his true intentions; he did wish to cheer this girl up.

Her eyes opened like she was electrocuted, her mouth flying open in surprise, something was draped ontop of her, and she had felt it the warmth of another a kindred soul, they said something, and her eyes widened in surprise shocked she lost control on her spiritual pressure as it exploded into a solid pillar in the sky, the normal soft glow turning into a rushing torrent, exploding out it was like a massive explosion in the sky, so much in fact that it could have been called truly frightening , In-fact ravana would distinctly feel for a second like he had been hit by a train going 100miles an hour because of her spiritual energy being just so huge to begin with, the spiritual pressure slowly dissipated though, as she got a handle on herself, her eyes only half opened now, as she slowly allowed her mouth to open, as above her head she began to form something, constricting her spiritual energy she had slowly allowing it to contract within the same fundamental of a cero to blossom over both her and ravana’s head. This cero was massive literally it was atleast at one point the size of a jumbo jet, and that was even when it was fully compacted.

Her voice had a soft clarity but it sounded like she didn’t trust the world, nor did she trust the intentions of the man behind her which was why as she slowly had spoke her eyes seemed dull as if a great sadness had been placed on them, and she slowly had calmly, leaned back her head tilting so her eyes could look directly into the eyes of the other, they held a mix of compassion and distrust, as if these eyes knew the meaning of despair, only one other being knew the true meaning of despair, and that was why she’d look up and while her voice held sweet music, it also held a chilling cold like a heart already frozen.

“..Tell me, who are you. . . and.. what are your intentions, . . . And.. where are w--… “

Her voice failed she still seemed to be weak as the cero expanded and then flew back into the sky, blowing a hole in the center of the forest, it grew larger and larger before it had slowly shrunk down and then vanished in the sky her body slumping into the mans embrace, though she was weak her spiritual pressure had by now doubled or quadrupled from previously, and was steadily rising, causing blue energy to rise around her, floating like millions of fireflies while she had smiled some and looked up, and since she couldn’t make good on her threat she would have with her golden hair tangled around her, softly glowing blue, and her eyes, of a beautiful gold, and vibrant.. sapphire blue , had looked up , in those eyes was no longer sadness, but wistful thinking, and what you could call, a longing for something, that she didn’t have. So slowly she raised one hand, her arm moving glowing in the light cast by the luminous flowers she’d had cupped the males cheek as her voice came out bitter sweet, like a angels sweet song, it had meaning, and a gravity behind it, that was almost palpable in the air, a kind of knowledge, something more something not meant for mortal ears to ever hear, as she had asked a question softly, her eyes only slightly open, lashes framing them like a drawing of a cherub , just brought to life.

“..Tell me sir, Do you believe In fate. . ? Do you believe that in this world there is no such thing as chance? . .”

She’d have asked slowly her eyes closing alittle more, a soft smile on her face as her appearance was torn between amazing beauty, and almost a angelic look to her, with her soft body, with a artists eye, for detail, soft and pure, like the snow, but also looking like a eternally radiant rose, sweet and pristine, but every rose has its thorns, that’s just a cruel fact of life, there is no rose that is void of thorns, even though they are so beautiful they have thorns like everything else, dark is eternally balanced by light, so as her voice slowly started again, this time it had a wistful side to it, a gentle surreal side to it, like she was asking him the worlds secrets, something that was personal, something that because she didn’t have the strength while these memories raced in her head to keep it up, so she had asked slowly, and calmly a simple question, which was also as grave as you might think the world itself might be in chaos.

“If your life was turned upside down, if happiness was replaced with sadness, if everything you knew turned out.. to be a lie, if you never had been meant to be born, yet lived only in the moments of death, what would you do, if those seconds of regret.. lasted a eternity, unable to die.. unable to move on.. unable to know what it is we call death..? Would you despair.. or would you watch the rest of the world.. sir?..This is.. how you can cheer me up.. just with this.. simple answer..You see.. i don't have faith in this world.. i need one person.. at least.. one person.. to convince.. me this world is not as corrupt as i think it is . . . Convince.. me not to destroy this existence with my own two hands.. ”

Those words seemed to be a catalyst.. now.. how would he answer.. ?..

Well now, this certainly was turning out rather weird for Ravana... as obvious as that statement may be. Still, even for a spiritual being, it wasn't everyday that one (supposedly) saved a naked girl from a lake, gave her your shirt, and... watched as she let out massive amounts of spiritual energy. Then again, given everything he had been through in the past, oddly enough, the only part that was actually that surprising to Ravana was the fact that the girl was naked... you'd think he'd have let that go by now. Either way, as Ravana embraced the girl from behind, it was quite obvious that she didn't quite take this too well. Sure, she didn't attack him or tell him to get off, but judging by the explosion of spiritual energy she had, at the very least, not been expecting the contact. Luckily, though the blast was pretty powerful, thanks to it being just spiritual energy (and not to mention some of the passive abilities granted through Iku-sen Kireme), Ravana was able to hold his ground as the force of the spiritual pressure hit him. "...Alright, note to self; apparent lack of self control" he thought to himself as he watched the impressively sized cero formed above their heads. Of course, seeing that display, Ravana was able to clearly determine that the girl he currently held was, in fact, a Vizard like himself.

As the girl spoke, this time directly to him, Ravana couldn't help but notice two things. The first was that her tone was very... odd; a sort of mixture between somber and inquisitive, almost as if she had not expected anyone to approach her. The second was, well... she looked kinda cute as she tilted her head back to look up at him. Sure, her eyes had a definite sense of sorrow to them, but something about the act just made the girl look adorable; almost as if she were a fragile doll. Of course, right now still wasn't the time for such thoughts, and as the girl asked her questions, he prepared to answer them... right after the cero finally died down. "Well, for starters the name's Ravana Ichiro, and as for my intentions... well, you looked like you were in trouble, and I thought you might need my help" he replied, his tone helping to convey the sincerity of his words. To be honest, he really didn't have any "intentions" aside from trying to help this girl he had thought was drowning; and despite how cliched it sounded, he just hoped that she believed him.

Needless to say, Ravana was well aware of the girls rising spiritual pressure, despite her apparent physical weakness as she slumped back into his embrace. Once again, he was thankfully no weakling, so being this close to her was proving not to be harmful to his health. Of course, while he could sense this, what really caught Ravana off guard was when the girl raised her hand and gently cupped his cheek; the intimate action causing him to blush slightly. Still, despite being caught off guard, he did still listen to what the girl said; though it definitely seemed to be an odd question. Did he believe in fate? Well, right off the bat Ravana knew his answer, but something about the situation kept him from answering her question right away. It wasn't fear, or hesitation that delayed his answer, but instead, as the girl closed her eyes, he could somehow tell that there was more to this question she had asked him. And, as it turned out, he was right, as the girl went on to ask him a rather complex, almost philosophical question about what he would do should his world be turned upside down... well, and she mentioned something about destroying the world, but at that exact moment his focus wasn't really on that part.

Sighing a bit, Ravana softly closed his eyes as the girl finished her question, before letting out a soft chuckle. In almost an instant, his entire demeanor seemed to change, without him even having to utter a single word. While up until now he might have seemed like a well intentioned goofball, as soon as the question had been posed, he seemed to take on a much more serious vibe; though without forsaking any compassion. "Well, that seems like a rather complex question given the situation, but if my answer is what can comfort you, then by all means, I shall indulge" he replied, his tone becoming far more serious and thoughtful than it had previously been, as his words too seemed to become much more insightful. "I suppose that the best place to start would be the first part of your question; do I believe in fate? Well, my answer there is quite simple, if even a little obvious. Even if there were such a thing as 'fate' or 'predetermined outcomes', that would not change how I lived my life. The only use I've ever found from the notion of fate was a driving force to defy it; to make my own path in this world no matter what others may have planned. Sure, I know that may sound a little cliched, but in all honesty, what would be the point in surrendering to a notion of what should be?" he began, his words showing a much greater intelligence than one might have expected of him.

"As for what I would do in such a seemingly hopeless situation, well... all I can tell you is what I have done" Ravana continued onto the next answer, before pausing for a moment. Suddenly, in front of the two, some of Ravana's own spiritual energy began to condense; though there was definitely something rather off about it. Within the next few seconds, something rather surprising appeared before the two of them: a hollow mask... his hollow mask. "Now, I will not pretend that what I have gone through is exactly the same as you or what you ask of me, but I have suffered in my life; had it irreconcilably upended. Yes, it did affect me, and yes, it did take me some time to recover, but giving in to despair was never an option. Even should I be cursed with what all you propose, what good would despair ever bring me? There is no merit in simply giving up to oppression, but at the same time, I could never nor would never simply sit by. No matter what happens to any of us, the only true option we have is to simply fight through it and continue working towards tomorrow. So what if your tomorrows should be eternal? Is it not a better alternative to strive to make eternity a place you would wish to live in rather than to simply despair or sit and watch it pass by? Besides..." he continued his speech, pausing only briefly to move his right hand up to gently brush against the girls cheek. "If neither of us had been 'meant' to be born, then we would not have met here today; and I can assure you that I would never wish for this not to have happened" he said, and as he finished speaking a warm, comforting smile crossed his face. "So yeah, it may have been a little ling winded, but I hope that you'll find that to be a satisfactory answer to your question" he added, before allowing his hollow mask to disappear.

Magnolia smiled softly, as her white teeth showed, the color of perfect.. white snow her form all the while slowly was getting up , her confidence regained as she turned around and had bent over, leaning down, her hand never once left his face, something tender had been unlocked as she remembered her original feelings, of love, and compassion, the will to survive had been locked so long ago, it was bubbling out, as she had laughed lightly, her voice of a light soprano, and of course it was carefree and at the same time it was mysterious, in fact if ravana would have looked closely he would have noticed she didn’t even have a zan on her, despite the fact that a Zanpakutō is never left from a vizards side. Though that just was a minor detail for the moment she had bent down close, her warm breath smelled like cinnamon.. a soft earthy smell light and appeasing to the senses but that wasn’t really what was going on, because as her thumb softly stroked Ravana’s smooth skin she looked down, and in a surprisingly soft, but powerful voice, one which was also wistful, and intelligent beyond its years.

“..That.. Ravana Ichiro.. Was A Perfect Answer”

After Magnolia said that, she had softly for a moment, pressed her lips to ravana’s her lips where soft like silk, but firm, they had a feeling of both warmth, and softness, what one might want for an ideal pair of lips, if you wanted to sum it up into a single word at least, and while she did this, the kiss wasn’t a serious one , it was a gentle light and timid peck on the lips, yet for that fleeting moment, Ravana probably would have felt her chest press against his own, just for a moment, as she slowly bent up, tucking a stray lock of her magnificent golden hair behind her right ear, looking down at him with a soft expression, she would have then stood up, and laughing some, said in a brilliant voice, one which sparkled like the sun, and had a joy to it, unlike her previous one.. this one was like that of a shining star in the night, her eyes closed, tears of joy, her heart was surprisingly warm, as she had then slowly raised her finger, and softly drew it back towards her, the message was clear:.. Come here.

Though then Magnolia had said as she turned “..You interest me greatly.. Ravana Ichiro, So I will tell you this, What I meant by never supposed to be born was, when I was a human, I was born into my demise, my mother was accused of being a witch, so I burned inside her womb, a newly conscious child, for months we burned, and because of meeting various people I have stayed alive, however.. Ravana For now, come and get me”She’d finish as she kicked off like a spirit of the forest, she was running barefoot through the harsh and dense vegetation, weaving between tree’s at unbelievable speeds, dodging and dipping , whilst everything became a green blur, she felt alive in the spirit of the forest, blue luminous flowers illuminating the way, as she kicked up, landing on one of the towering roots, and kicked off it in the same movement of landing, her hair flying in wild abandon, as she flew further into the forest, a blossoming flower in her chest, a flower of new hope, was forming but she slowly began to see light, and she picked up her pace, speeding up.

Moving between the tree’s the light was growing, the vegetation was thinning, and her heart was beating faster and faster, in the vague distance, in the light, she heard roaring water, the glowing flowers grew in abundance here, blue roses saturated in the same glow, had been growing and freely spread out upon the wondrous terrain, but that isn’t what made her stop, as her eyes widened, she had seen something, beautiful, the tree’s grew taller here, it seemed the forest was larger than anyone especially larger than what she had anticipated, because you know what she had seen, there? A massive waterfall, rushing white water, magnificent force, illuminating light, the light of pre-dawn, the stars spread out like a map to the heavens, and a clearing, the edge of a towering cliff, and the most Surpising sight, as she stopped and stared her heart was caught in her chest, just because of the magnitude of what she was seeing, as it was just too much for her to actually comprehend, she for a moment thought she was dreaming, but it was too real to be a dream.. so you know what she could see, as far as her sight went?..

Forest.. green forest, towering mountains, and waterfalls, rivers, expanding father then what the eye could see, it was amazing, the blue’s and the gold of the light, the glowing of the flowers, the reflection of the river, the sound of rushing water, the look of ancient tree’s even larger then in the grotto, these easily had towered up over the cliff’s surface, and the water was roaring and pouring out, and she didn’t mind, she looked and she whispered.. “Beautiful”.. before she let out a laugh, and then slipped, her arms flailing, as she fell down dragged into the water, and as this happened, her hand went out, too surprised, too weak to stop her fall, she fell like a rock, too far ahead for help this time, she smashed into the rocks below, her arms bent at odd angles blood running from her body, though there was something strange, even though she had something ripped through her chest, a sharp rock straight through her chest why was she still breathing? Was she Non-compliant with death? Just what was happening here, just what was going on here, .. What.. the actual fuck was happening in the first place. .?

As if things weren't already odd enough for Ravana... well, actually, this wasn't that strange compared to what had come before. Hell, if anything, this had been exactly what Ravana had been hoping to do; cheer up this girl. Of course, as the girl got up and out of his embrace, it was kinda odd that her hand remained on his cheek...and that she then leaned back in towards him once she was standing. Actually, by this point she was getting close enough to where he could actually feel her breath against his face; a slight scent of cinnamon making the experience rather appealing. It was actually rather humorous when you thought about it; Ravana had been able to give such a rousing speech while embracing this girl from behind while her only article of clothing was his shirt, but as soon as she turned around to face him and got so close... well, let's just say that his confidence seemed to fade away. Granted, he had never been the best when it came to women, so it wasn't too surprising, but still; you'd think that given how "cool" he could sound (at least in his own opinion) just being face to face with a girl wouldn't be enough to faze him. Oh, and the girl's apparent lack of a Zanpakutō didn't really seem to impact Ravana, half because he was far too preoccupied with how close she was to him, and half because, well... to be honest, his Zanpakutō wasn't actually on his person either. Obviously it wasn't just lying around somewhere, but as he had not been expecting to have to fight any, he simply had his Zanpakutō Spirit hold it in a personal pocket of space.

However, everything else aside, it was what the girl did and said next that really impacted Ravana. Well, it wasn't so much what she had said but how she said it; as her tone seemed much softer than before, and even seemed to hold a hint of... happiness. Granted, he wasn't given much time to ponder over the tone of the girl's voice, because soon after her words ended, something even more surprising began. As the girls face moved in closer to his own, for a moment, Ravana actually didn't believe what was about to happen; it was all rather surreal. Of course, as her soft lips pressed against his own, Ravana was quickly brought back down to earth; and though the kiss was but a short peck of affection it was still rather enjoyable. Needless to say, as the girl pulled back, Ravana remained speechless for a while, the blush once again crossing his cheeks signifying the impact the small kiss had had on him. Of course, while he may have been momentarily dumbfounded, he was not so much so that he would have missed the girl's gesture to follow... or her next, rather shocking words.

As the girl gave him a brief insight into her past, Ravana began to see where her earlier question might have come from; if only partially. Hell, to him just the fact that she could even remember any of her life as a human was rather surprising; seeing as his memory only went as far back as his time in the Rukongai. Granted, such a jarring event would undoubtedly leave its marks on a person, and as the girl finished, aside from feeling compassion for her, Ravana also gave a small wonder to what his own past life could have been like... which lasted for all of about a second as the girl was soon running off. "Well... I've come this far already; why not venture further down the rabbit hole?" he asked himself, a soft smile crossing his lips. Given that the girl had quite clearly told him to follow her, he was obviously going to do just that; though at the same time it was also because he really did want to learn more about this strange girl... and that kiss did well to entice him too.

Without any further hesitation, Ravana set off to follow after the girl; choosing to leave behind the articles of clothing he had taken off when pulling her out of the lake. Sure, he didn't want to just leave them, but given that the girl (thankfully) still had his shirt, there really was no point in retrieving them. As he gave chase to the girl, Ravana actually took more time to look at his surroundings; half because the vegetation was getting denser and to neglect them would have obviously gotten him hurt, and half because, well... he was kinda curious about the place. Seeing as there wasn't anyone in danger anymore (at least as far as he knew) he did have some time to watch as the scenery passed him by, though to be honest it truly wasn't the biggest thing on his mind. "Ya know... I don't even know her name yet... seems kinda like bad form to get a kiss before her name" he thought to himself, chuckling a bit at his joke. "Well, guess I'll just have to ask it once I catch up" he said to himself, before picking up his pace to try and catch up with the girl quicker.

Soon, Ravana too had reached the same clearing as the girl; however, instead of taking in the stunning sights, there was something else that had caught his attention. As soon as he arrived, Ravana bore witness to the girl he had just saved... falling down the waterfall. Holy crap, this girl must have had some seriously messed up luck, but right now Ravana did not have the time to think about that. Once again, he went into his "heroic" mode, ignoring anything else but the well being of the girl. Without a moment's hesitation, he used a series of shunpo to appear at the base of the waterfall safely, and without much delay quickly spotted the girl. "Fuck! fuck, are you ok!?" he shouted as he ran over to where her body was, easily able to see just how bad the fall had been. Though it was obvious that she had a number of broken bones... and a jagged rock sticking through her chest; he was able to tell that she was still alive through her spiritual pressure. "Damnit! This might hurt a bit, but I'm gonna have to move you, alright?" he asked the girl, though given the situation he didn't really have the time to wait for a response. Moving quickly and carefully, he knelt down and lifted the girl up in his arms, taking care not to jolt her body too much. Sighing to himself, he then took the girl to a relatively flat piece of ground and, once again taking care, gently placed her body down. Of course, to check on how bad the damage was, Ravana had to remove his shirt from her; though this time, mainly due to the situation, he seemed much more comfortable with the fact that she was nude. "Crap... I have no clue how you survived that, but just hold on... I may not be an expert at it, but I believe I should be able to fix your body up through some healing kido" he said, before kneeling down beside her and quickly getting to work. Reaching his hands out over her body, he began to gather his own spiritual energy to use the healing kido; having to use slightly more than a member of the medical squad would have had to thanks to being more versed on the combat side of kido. Still, he would hopefully have the skill to heal her body, and given the fact that he could feel how strong her spiritual pressure was, the girl would hopefully be fine once he was finished. "Well... this might not be the most ideal time, but seeing as I have you here... wanna tell me your name?" he asked as he worked, hoping that she would have the ability to respond.
