Just now exiting the Senkaimon gate that lead him into the human realm with his Reiatsu signature suppressed to a point where it was almost non-existent, which was just above the city of Karakura Central, Tsuyo descended down upon a dense, green-filled forest, albeit the sun had started setting on the horizon, forewarning Tsuyo that it would soon be dark; and the dark ones would come out to play.
Yes, as he landed on the ground and took his first steps into the forest, he could already tell they were here. The dark, foul, and even treacherous beings that lurked the corners of your vision where you could just barely notice them, evading you until they see fit to strike. The vile species that thrived on eating the other souls around it, as if the world was supposed to be their free buffet...Hollow.
Now that he had been walking in the forest, moving at least 100 yards in from the edge of the forest he had entered near Karakura Central's outskirts, Tsuyo could tell that the sun had begun to settle substantially lower, as the visibility was now beginning to come to a point where he should get up above the top of the trees, so that he could see further than 20 feet in front of him. After a few more moments, as it seemed to grow darker with each step he took, Tsuyo was finally frightened into moving up above the tree-line, as the roar of a Hollow in the general area of the forest that surrounded him caught his attention.
Making a Shunpo up into the air, his body stopped at the tops of the tree's, looking out in every direction for shaking trees, or other indications of a Hollow's presence.
" I am getting really tired of these things. I'll have to put it down swiftly, before it notices me up here. "

Fortunately for Tsuyo, there was a tree shaking, but possibly not due to the Hollow, instead the dozens if not hundreds of birds flocking out from the tree, spooked by something. Since it was the only place with birds leaving, he figured that would be the best place to start. Making fast and long strides with his flash step, Tsuyo soon found himself at the tree that was roughly 30 yards away, and now plummeted to ground level. Noticing a large white humanoid (in shape, not size) silhouette, leaning over and stuffing something into it's mouth.
Unsheathing his Zanpakutō, making sure to produce plenty of noise, Tsuyo had been unaware that the Hollow's meal had already been finished, and it was now doing something else, as it's mouth began to leak a purple and blue smog, turning to face Tsuyo as it breathed more towards him.
Taking a Shunpo to his left by roughly 5 feet, the stream of fog missed, but soon dispersed and spread out, filling what area it could as it grew closer in lesser amounts to Tsuyo, who had poised his Zanpakutō towards the Hollow and made another Shunpo as it prepared another stream. Making sure to get his timing right, as the stream came towards Tsuyo the second time, he had stepped to his left slightly once again, and then made another flash step to bring himself forth to the Hollow in rapid succession.
Puncturing both of his Zanpakutō into the Hollow's torso and face, it's mask cracked open, and so did it's body, as the smog it had not yet exhaled exploded in a burst, pouring into the area and covering every direction Tsuyo could see in. It burned his eyes, and he had already been holding his breathe. Peeling his eyes, he could tell the Hollow had been dealt with, but now he needed to get out of this smog.
Due to the burning sensation it caused his eyes, along with it's density, it was hard for Tsuyo to tell where to move, so his instinct told him to just go straight up. Utilizing Shunpo once again, the amount of success with this one was far, yet cut short. Albeit he could tell the Shunpo was fast, his body had collided with what seemed to be a rather thick, sturdy branch from one of the trees. Exclaiming in temporary pain, he gasped and had accidentally managed to breathe in at least half of what he could fill his lungs with.
From that moment on, Tsuyo could feel the burning within, as the smog seemed to put him in a sedated state, slumping down with his back and head leaning against the tree behind him. Lazily looking into the purple smoke, he could feel the will to stay awake escaping him, and he wondered what kind of cheap trick the Hollow had got him with.
His body felt weaker by every second, and his pulse grew faster. Soon enough a sweat had overcame his head, which was beginning to heat up. With the burning sensation now filling his lungs, eyes, and his skin due to the breathing of his pores. His eyes pressed together in frustration, weighing on the fact that these could be his last moments. Thinking back to what he had said to his Zanpakutō spirit, about his Shinigami comrades, he thought about how foolish he had been, both then for saying that, and now for getting himself into this mess.
He was almost at peace with himself, accepting his failure, as he soon slipped into what seemed to be death, or a forced comatose, his eyes fluttering shut as his Zanpakutō were both clutched tightly in his hands.

" Hrrraaahhhhhhh!!! "
The mind shattering shriek of another terror filled creature let out it's rippling roar, causing Tsuyo to bolt up from his laying position finally awake once more. However, to his dismay, he noticed that he was sitting atop the water in his Zanpakutō's inner world, which had so far been a bad sign. Noticing Tsūkōnin (Tsuyo's Zanpakutō spirit) crouching down before another dark mass laying on the water, Tsuyo took a moment to get to his feet, making his way towards the Zanpakutō spirit before they stopped him from getting any closer.
" Tsuyo, I can do my best to help you, but you have brought this upon yourself, and me...Look at it... "
Stepping up from his kneeled position over the dark mass, the spirit had wiped his face, as the both of them eyed over the small, baby-sized mass that looked akin to that of a Hollow.
" I was in here, and then suddenly everything felt wrong, and I noticed what had happened to you- and then he showed up, out of me, out of us; he was birthed, your Hollow brethren...he even looks like you...for now... "
As his eyes dragged from the puny Hollow towards Tsuyo, he felt a strong amount of regret for the next words he had for Tsuyo. The struggles for him had been enough for a person as gentle as him, and Tsūkōnin worried for the fate that was to come. Would Tsuyo triumph and prosper, arising to the challenge? Or would he suffer in his own turmoil, as he brought upon himself his own damnation?
" There isn't much time before he is fully grown, and we have a real problem on our hands, Tsuyo. You already obtained the most primal power of our Shikai. Now I will train you the second technique of your Shikai; Azamuku Shutsugen. " (Deceiving Apparition).
As he looked at Tsuyo, who had finally stopped staring in awe at the small growing creature before them, he began condensing Reiryokou before him after releasing his Shikai, allowing it to manifest a replica of Tsuyo.
" Strip them of remorse...Kanashi Tsūkōnin. "
" Strip them of remorse...Kanashi Tsūkōnin.
When you produce one, it will be of me, as it is a technique made out as though we are fighting together. This technique is like a ghost in some aspects, as the body itself is squishy, and will be destroyed on contact by just about anything, besides the ground it walks on. However, it's Zanpakutō phase through any object, performing damage in a similar fashion to our Shikai's first ability, without any physical cuts made.
Be warned, Tsuyo, that Shikai is much more potent than your sealed Zanpakutō. They don't need to cut deep...simply touch your target, like their forehead, and their brain will likely be frozen in the moment. They are even able to utilize your flash step- "
Forcing the apparition he had made towards Tsuyo at a plausibly swift, yet slow enough speed for him to react, the spirit was mostly checking to see if Tsuyo was really paying attention, as his eyes seemed to drift towards the Hollow once more.
Tsuyo, whose mind was still paying attention to his Zanpakutō spirit, made a single slice with his Zanpakutō into the apparition, causing it to diminish instantly. Only looking at the Hollow because it had nearly doubled in size already, although it was still rather small, like a toddler, Tsuyo looked back at his spirit before attempting to make his own clone.
Within a few moments after Tsuyo had been able to watch the technique used only once, he examined it closely enough regardless due to his interest in the new technique. As the basic humanoid shape came to be, Tsuyo didn't quite get the physical features correct, and the sword was unlike the two in his hands.
Then, once he tried forcing it to utilize a flash step, it dissipated into the air, as if it had overloaded with stress, due to it's inefficiency in construct and balance, or so Tsuyo seemed to think.
" How long exactly do we have? "
" I'd say at this rate, you have 2 more tries to get this technique down before he comes to get you. Be cautious, Tsuyo...he will also be using the very same Zanpakutō, and it's set of power, that you yourself are using and training now. I know he hasn't put in any of the actual training you have, but do not think less of him.
He will thrive on your arrogance, and drag you down to your death faster than even me. Like I said Tsuyo, I was only ever here to help you...but that thing......that thing will destroy you, and every one of your Shinigami allies, given the chance to do so. He is truly a monster, and you bear him within you. Now, try again. This time feel the energy within your Zanpakutō, and try to allow it to release into the air, as if you were trying to "freeze" it. Then condense that into the silhouette, and we'll see the improvement from there, shall we?

Allowing his mind to resumes it's practice, Tsuyo repeated the process of spawning what was an apparition-like "clone" of his Zanpakutō spirit. Taking the advice his spirit had given him, Tsuyo had now been able to produce something much closer to that of his Zanpakutō spirit. As he concentrated on the rough edges, smoothening and refining his manipulation of the Reiryokou needed to fuel this technique, he noticed it come to look much alike his spirit, except for it's body which was not as bulky, and the length of his appendages were slightly disproportional.
However, as the wiggling and flailing of the now teenager-sized Hollow began, Tsuyo sent the apparition it's way, with the intent to freeze it and give him more time to "perfect" the technique. Upon contact, it seemed to settle down due to it's entire body being frozen. Regardless, soon after it let out another shriek which held enough force to take out his apparition, it's head and body growing bigger yet, even though it had been frozen.
Forcing himself to prepare another apparition, the Hollow began to continue it's rather obnoxious shrieking, as Tsuyo used it's angry fit to his advantage, giving him more time to focus on his technique. As the apparition soon constructed itself from the feet up from what seemed to be thin air, another replica of his Zanpakutō spirit had been standing before, him, much more precise with it's detail and efficiency.
" That's it Tsuyo, that one is just as good as my own. Now- "
Even though they had been talking louder, due to the Hollow's roaring to hear each other, it's swift change to silence brought the Zanpakutō spirit to a speechless halt, as his body soon disappeared from sight. From behind his spirit, the Hollow had gotten up and plunged his hand into the spirit, just before he was rendered to nothing.
However, his appearance, which for a moment was a replica of Tsuyo, was soon wrapped in grey liquid that solidified, a mask and horns now dawned over the Hollow's body. He was a monster.
" Tsu.....Tsuyo? "
His eyes widened as it seemed to speak to him, and even knew his name. After a moment, two Zanpakutō that looked to be in their Shikai stage spawned into the Hollow's hands, as he made a swipe towards Tsuyo.
" Must kill Tsuyo! "
Roaring out whilst speaking as it engaged the Shinigami, it was rather reckless, almost naïve like a newborn. However, there was great might, and speed behind it's movements, giving alarm to Tsuyo momentarily, whose apparition was still standing next to him.

As the Hollow made a swipe with his left Zanpakutō towards Tsuyo right side of his torso, he brought the Zanpakutō in his right hand to meet it, clashing against it and meaning to keep it there at least momentarily. Commanding the apparition which stood next to him, however, Tsuyo forced it to Shunpo swiftly, flanking the Hollow and attacking it's rear.
To Tsuyo's dismay, however, the Hollow struck towards it's backside with the Zanpakutō in it's right hand, essentially putting an end to any slew of assaults the apparition could provide; however, now Tsuyo had an opening to attack, as his Zanpakutō brought itself forth into the Hollow's chest.
Snarling in distaste, the Hollow withdrew from Tsuyo as it's arms kneaded against it's chest, as if trying to force the friction to produce some bodily heat to the lungs within. Grumbling for a few moments from 5 meters away, the Hollow began to speak once more, attempting to dissuade Tsuyo's malicious intent. As it forced air into it's freezing lungs to speak, the sound of the frozen flesh cracked, adding an even more unnerving vibe to the Hollow's tone.
" You fight with the tactics of an amateur, Tsuyo. Did you think that one hit was going to be enough? And to think that you call yourselves Death Gods...what a true abomination your kind has come to be known as. I'll show you the limits that only a Deity can break. Then, Tsuyo, you shall understand the difference in our power. "
" The only difference in our powers is the difference between right, and wrong. Do you know what that means? "
Allowing it's Reiatsu to rise, the Hollow soon spawned it's own apparition, forcing Tsuyo to mimic his actions, creating yet another apparition himself. Both done spawning their creations relatively at the same time, they both charged towards one another, signalling that their battle would presume, and Tsuyo would not simply give up, or roll over for this foul creature.

As the two wielders of the Zanpakutō came forth to clash blades further, they prompted their apparitions to the front lines, soon delivering a "fatal" strike on each other's manifestation, both withering away shortly after. With his left shoulder to the Hollow, Tsuyo noticed him trying to flank with a sweep of his blade, allowing a sort of leftward spinning backfist maneuver on Tsuyo's end, exempt with his two Zanpakutō hook swords in-hand facing that direction, and not his fists.
Clashing swords with the Hollow one at a time, Tsuyo's left Zanpakutō met the Hollow's own left. Deflecting off of that initial strike, the two of them then followed up with another strike, this time with their right hands. Parrying each other once more, Tsuyo made a swift kicked off of the Hollow's gut, utilizing his flash step to propel himself backwards, and even kicking back the Hollow with a fair amount of recoil, causing another sound of shattering to be heard from his frozen torso.
" Always running away from your problems; your fears! When are you going to be able to let go, Tsuyo?! When is the leash going to be around your throat?! Such a naive child you proved to be, huh Tsuyo?! "
Once his retort to Tsuyo had ended, the sudden disappearance of the Hollow was a sudden alarm to Tsuyo who had been moving back roughly 5 meters by now, before a figure above him swung downwards with a pair of hook sword, the sound of a Hollow's fastest means of movement in the air; Sonido.
Simply allowing the Zanpakutō which were already held out before his chest to rise up in an X-shape to block the two incoming Zanpakutō, Tsuyo used the momentum of the Hollow and pivoted on his foot to rotate, forcing the Hollow to continue in it's previously moving direction for another few feet as it slid to a halt. However, Tsuyo did not stop there, as he created an apparition one last time. Allowing it to spawn behind him, Tsuyo made a flash step forward as the Hollow turned face, shifting it's Zanpakutō to meet Tsuyo.
Speakign to the Hollow, he had wondered if it had taken note of the apparition, and even if he did, Tsuyo wondered if he knew what the next series of events were to be. Hopefully his Zanpakutō spirit would be proud; even if he died, it would not be a lonesome death.
" The reason I am better than you is because I am willing to make the hard sacrifices in life, even if it means my own- "
It was hard to speak from there, as Tsuyo pushed into the Hollow with his own two solid Zanpakutō, crossing them against each other and locking them in with the Hollow's own two hook swords. As he brought himself in, Tsuyo instructed the apparition to run it's phasing blade through his chest at a diagonal angle, impaling upwards into the Hollow's head before him.
Before it could begin to say much at all, it's head had begun to grow cold and blue, soon cracking lightly, and then shattering into a cloud of dust, just before his last words could be heard.
" Tsuyo, this isn't- "
As the Hollow dissipated, Tsuyo's Zanpakutō began to vibrate within his grasp, as he could feel the drain on his body, along with the brittle Zanpakutō in his hands that he had now sheathed, just before collapsing onto the "solid" water's surface. His body was ice cold, but he could feel it leaving him, as he left this world to return to the limp body of his in the Karakura forest.
I'll see you soon, Tsūkōnin.
As Tsuyo was now on the ground, he could feel his eyes shut, and then open the next moment to a bright day, with rays of sun shining faintly through the wavering leaves and branches of the trees. But now there was more for Tsuyo to deal with, as he had now become something that he had not ever intended to become. Now, it was as if he was cursed. The once beloved comrades of Seireitei were now a thing of the past, as Tsuyo would likely be exiled from Soul Society in it's entirety.
Why did the Hollow have to be so vile?
Shutting his eyes once again at the mental note of his inquiry about the Hollow race, Tsuyo decided to rest, since he could barely feel his body very well anyways.
End of Thread.
