As one may have noticed, Chris and Tristan do not appear as most arrancar, in fact they are originally a single mind fractured into two at the moment of achieving arrancar status. As such they appear as two people, a set of twins that may look identical physically vary in style.

The first twin to be detailed is Chris. His features and outfit focus on the color white and is first instantly noticeable as his hair is a snow white brilliance that lies straight and narrow reaching just below the jawline. As for the facial features that help to differentiate between the pair, Chris has a yellow iris in his right eye and his hollow hole in place of the left. As for his clothing, he wears a plain white tank-top that is covered by a suit jacket with long flowing tails. His pants are white and dressy and pure white converse cover his feet. Chris tends to also keep his outfit very clean, proper, and trimmed.

Tristan on the other hand could not be any more different. His hair is black and unkempt, laying where it falls and often times sticking out in weird angles. As for his eyes, his left contains a red iris and his right possesses the hollow hole. He even goes so far as to have his left ear pierced with a simple onyx stud. Tristan’s clothes continue the black motif but also contain some of his brother’s white. On the first layer he wears a white dress shirt with a loose fitting black tie and then covers it with a black suit jacket, the edges frayed. His pants are a dressy black and his shoes are the original black and white converse. Finally quite unlike his brother, Tristan’s appearance always seems to have that nonchalant, just woke up, feel to it. His jacket is frayed, tie loose, pants wrinkled, and hair a mess.

• Bone Appearance: The twins showcase their shattered mask fragments around their hollow hole. Four jagged lines of mask intersect the eye and give off the appearance that something has just slashed their faces with animal like claws vertically, starting from the brow and ending mid-cheek.

• Hollow Hole: As previously stated each twin has a whole located where an eye used to be.

• Reiatsu Colour: White for Chris and Black for Tristan, upon becoming Christian (see Ress) it becomes a swirling mix of black and white.



Personality: Each twin has two pieces of the original’s personality. As such when conversing with one and not the other it sometimes feels as if something were missing. Therefore to overcompensate for the lack of half their personality, the pieces they do possess become more prominent then they would in an average individual. Outlined here is the unique personalities of each twin.

Chris:
Chris has an odd combination of traits that should never have been mixed in the first place. Outwardly and the first thing you notice about him, is that he embodies the originals intelligence, calm, and seriousness. He heavily enjoys focusing on research, a good book, or just observing things as the present themselves. However being supercharged, this lead Chris to be somewhat of a shut in. He will spend days in his own little zone focusing on nothing but that which interests him. As for his calming side, Chris can almost empty his mind of all distractions as well. If he thinks he has delved too deep into a subject or has been neglecting human interaction for too long, he will take a calm few moments to himself and simply forget he ever was interested in that subject to begin with. This however created an issue, he needed a calming ritual. This took root as OCD. It brought him peace to organize this chaotic world, but with his supercharged mind it became obsessive. The last trait that Chris picked up, the one that completely offsets this, is his pension for rage. He inherited all the angry and hate that the original possessed. In some ways it was good that Chris gained the rage. His ability to empty his mind of focus and calm himself helps to repress his homicidal thoughts. However if Chris were ever to snap, most things that could not withstand him would die, unless Tristan could reign him in.

Tristan:
Tristan on the other hand, is the twin that everybody loves. He gained the originals limited compassion, humor, and lust. As one could imagine this combination makes Tristan the heartbreaker type. His supercharged humor makes him view ever situation as some kind of game or joke. Never taking anything too serious he tries to enjoy himself and have fun. Yet with a newly awakened abundance of compassion, Tristan also cares deeply for those he is close too. He values his brother’s life quite highly and is the first one there to bring him back from his blind rage. He also tries to help people who need it. However it is still a limited compassion and only extends as far as allies, any and all who the twins view as enemies should quake in fear of their unrelenting force. Finally a supercharged lust leads Tristan to being a major flirt of BOTH genders. Tristan wants to love everybody and desires anything that can make him feel good. He will not hesitate to hit on you or even try to pick you up. It is in these situations that Chris tends to bring him down to reality and explain that not every enemy wants to sleep with him.



• History:

Life

Born towards the end of the 11th Century, Christian was raised in a region of Scandinavia. His parents were part of the Christian missionaries that took Scandinavia by storm and helped to legitimize the church and subsequent religion into the noble houses of Scandinavia. It was in an outlying village where they spent most of their time, preaching and helping to sustain the native population. The village was also located near the sea and as a coastal village, Christian grew up with a great love of both fishing and hunting. However, his parents felt differently and always pushed him towards religion and staying safe within the confines of their village.
As his manhood dawned on him, he was widely recognized as the village hero. It was not because he was particularly heroic, he just happened to always be willing to help and could tackle most situations with a calm and ease that just seemed to get the job done. However he seemed almost completely uninterested in his famiy’s job and viewed religion as a mandatory commitment that he didn’t have to follow as soon as he could move away. He still loved to fish and hunt, and on a hunting trip is where all his trouble began. As he snuck out of his home in the wee hours of the morning, he proceeded to head into the woods to stalk his prey.

Unbeknownst to Christian, was that as soon as he entered those woods near the sea it was he who became the stalked prey. See, Christian’s mother did not give off just baseless fears about him wandering too far, it was because she knew all too well about the possible threat of a Viking raiding party. It was such a party that waited in the woods as he accidently stumbled upon them. Instead of killing him they took him captive. The cart they held Christian in was surprisingly too large for just one person. That was because it was not intended for just one person. It was in this cart that he watched his village raided by the Vikings, he witnessed them murder entire families, steal the strong men, and rape the women. It didn’t take long for the cart to slowly fill up with the young men of the village. Then, the Vikings departed as quickly as they came, a single tear shown on Christian’s face as he saw his home, the village church, burn up in flames, his parents corpses still inside.

Now captive on the Viking ship, Christian only had time to think of the horrible things that would befall him. The slaves were kept in the hold with other plundered goods, it was in the hold that they also housed their wolves. Feral beasts that the Vikings would unleash upon villages, warring clans, or any other unsuspecting foe, they were kept hungry and vile in the hold, but free. The slaves were always tied up, chained, or otherwise trapped in a section of the hold with a massive gate. On the other side of the gate were the wolves so that even if a slave could figure out how to escape, it would only fit to feed the beasts.

It was the pack Alpha that first drew Christian’s eye. An impressive beast with fur dark as night and white stripes of fur showing its age. For whatever reason the beast was fixated on Christian, it paced in front of the gate and would get ever more excited when Christian drew near. At the same time the other slaves conspired to break free. They figured that while the other slaves were being mauled to death by the wolves and the Vikings busy watching with laughter, they could make a break for it. Fools the lot of them. It was early morning when one of the Vikings released the lock on the gate and proceeded to enter to select the next batch of slaves to be traded, the other Vikings held the salivating beasts back. At the exact moment the renegade slaves slammed the Viking down and threw open the gate. As expected the other Vikings unleashed the hounds while a handful of slaves grabbed nearby objects to use to escape. A full scale riot had broken out but it didn’t matter to Christian. He did not fight back the Vikings or the wolves, no he was preoccupied with the vicious Alpha how had taken little time to fly through the open gate and tear at his throat. As the world faded the last image he saw was the alpha feasting on his entrails.

Death

As a spirit, Christian was consumed with unchecked rage for those who had stolen him from his family, those who had stolen others like him. It didn’t take long for him to decide that the complete and udder destruction of this ship must be obtained even from beyond the grave. Through his intense rage and as he watched more slaves being collected he desired to be free from the chain that bound him and began to claw away at it.

Normally the soul chain would have eroded on its own, but Christian didn’t seem to know, or care, he just
wanted it gone so he could freely attacks those he hated. It finally gave way, sooner than most spirits would, and he had taken his first step into hollow form. His first target and the one thing he ate first in this new form was the still living Alpha wolf. He then continued to consume the Vikings and then his job was done, he had killed those he hated. But something forced him to continue on, forced him to keep eating. Christian quickly turned around and feasted on the remaining slaves, he next made his way back to land.

From this point it was simply fated to happen. He released a little too late that he had gone from an avenging spirit to an uncontrollable monster of hunger. He had lost himself. Yet some small piece urged him to ignore the humans and instead fed on those that had become like him. He quickly sought out other hollows and began to devour them. It was through this he found himself involved in a mass of devouring hollows. As they ate each other they became greater than before, they were now a Menos, a Gillian.

As a Gillian, Christian had multiple pieces inside of him, he was no longer Christian but a Gillian of many other hollows and spirits before him. As they tried to function as a unit and do whatever it is a Gillian should do in Hueco Mundo, Christian never stopped trying to be him. But he was not what he was once before, he wasn’t that helpful, kind village kid, he was also a murderous beast of rage. But he pressed on, he fought not only with his inner conflictions but with the other minds he now shared. It was through a strong mix of rage and rationality that Christian broke through, he dominated the Gillian’s mind and took complete control. He continued to hold that resentment of other hollows and continued to eat them not out of hunger but pleasure.

They had even moved on to eating other Gillian, and soon enough they, no Christian, became an Adjuchas.
Emerging from the remains of the Gillian they once were, Christian was now in a familiar form. It wasn’t that of a village boy but that of the Alpha who had killed him. His intense rage had carried on and projected a physical form, one he had come to possess. He was a dark skinned beast with white bone claws, fangs, and armor. His was vicious, unrelenting, and…completely unstable. It would seem that when he asserted control over the Gillian, he still hadn’t quite discovered who Christian really was. Because of that he now had a conflicting war of inter-personalities. One wanted him to continue on devouring other hollows, ending their population one masked bastard at a time, while the other just wanted him to kill anything that moved. A rational entity that strived for a better world, and a feral entity that wanted nothing more than pure destruction. It is here that Chris and Tristan first take root as two pieces of a whole.

Christian only lasted as an Adjuchas for such a short time. The war inside his mind become so crippling strong that he just ended up collapsing one day, an eerie howl escaping his mouth. He thought that this was surely the end, he couldn’t decide what part of him was real. Reaching his clawed hand up to his face, he began to tear at his mask, he grabbed to hand holds from the middle and tore at the mask until it split down the middle and an explosion of smoke and debris formed. Stepping forth from this smoke were two freshly made Arrancar, Chris and Tristan.

Arrancar

As Arrancar the twins had kept to themselves. They discussed their past, came to terms with who they were and began to live a life for themselves. They had at first shied away from the other Arrancar, especially the Espada whose great powers struck fear in them. But it wasn’t as rough for them as it might have been for others. They were able to talk with one another, hunt together, even train and spar. With two inseparable people it made discovering their strengths and utilizing them far more easily than that of a lone individual. But one could not ignore the Espada for long.

Eventually the two were discovered by those loyal to the Espada and fought them. In this bitter fight the two battle fiercely together but ultimately were defeated and dragged before the heads of the organization. Recognizing the two’s great potential, they allowed them to live under direct service to them. Now residents of Las Noches they had the materials and knowledge they needed to grow in strength.

They found out about the dual Cero technique while in their time researching old files and began a lengthy trial of experimentation before they perfected the move they now know. The also learned of an Arrancar’s potential to become something stronger through an awakening of abilities. They trained and they trained hard for years, centuries to become great, to become the power they needed to both oppose the world and destroy it.

Now the curtain lifts on their past as they charge headfirst into the future to discover what afterlife has in store for them.




• Sealed Zanpakutô:
Known as the Rayas Dobles (Twin Stripes), each twin carries one of the two blades. To be more precise, hook blades.

• Racial Abilities:

Chris and Tristan have been arrancar for some time, strong arrancar at that. As such they have come into possession the control over most standard arrancar abilities. At the same time though, the twins have actually lost the ability to use certain moves as well.

The first move that the lost the power to use was the Bala. While most arrancar should be able to use this skill, the twins spent so many hours developing their Cero technique that they ultimately didn’t even remember about the Bala and just chose not to learn how to form one appropriately.

Another move that they lost the ability to use was due largely in fact to the same reason they can’t use Bala. While developing their signature Cero technique the ultimately went and forgo their ability to create a Grand Rey Cero. However once their custom Cero was finished it was quickly discovered they had no need for a Grand Rey.

Finally the last technique they did not learn was the Negación. This was more so for the fact that they never needed to use it and thus never needed to learn it.

As for the techniques they can use, it is an impressive array of power. The first and foremost power they twins can use and their pride and joy as an arrancar, is the Cero. They spent hours, years, developing their Cero in order to create the most fearsome in tandem technique they could muster outside of Resurrección. For their base Cero, Chris of course produces a strong focused beam of white energy, while Tristan has a slightly erratic, almost electrical current looking, black cero. But their years of training came to fruition when they completed development of the, Cero Sincrético. Previously invented by accident years ago, the twins took it upon themselves to pick up exploration into this technique and its uses. Thus, years later, when the two use this move all they have to do is fire both their ceros towards each other in a V shape. The point of the V being their intended target. As the cero’s mix together it becomes a white beam surrounded by a vibrant black current. This Cero has a highly increased damage output, (twice the strength of their current cero power) with one big upside. It can be fired multiple times. Since they only put half their strength into forming one attack, it only takes up half the energy a large attack normally would. However even so late in their development it can still only be utilized a max of three times (during an entire thread) before the twins become too exhausted to fire even a regular cero.

Next the twins have an above average Sonido skill and move quite fast on the battle field as per their feral nature. While it wouldn’t stand up to someone who is proficient in the skill, it would definitely be more than say the standard Sonido of someone who doesn’t rely on it.

Finally the twins have a pretty average Hierro, focusing their time and effort on moving quick and firing devastating Cero have left them a bit lacking defensively. As for the other skills, they can open Garganta, use Pesquisa, and activate their Resurrección.

• Unique Abilities:

Outside of their natural and trained abilities, the twins have one skill that is completely unique to them. It is the, Conocimiento Doble, or Twin Consciousness. This power allows the twins to share thoughts, memories, and experiences. That means if one were to be captured the other would know exactly where to find them. This also allows the simultaneous plotting of attacks, recon, information, ect. This means that their combos are nearly flawless, and it is impossible to surprise both twins if one of them knows what’s coming.

• Resurrección Release Phrase: “Two Become One”

• Release Actions: With the hook blade in Chris’s right hand and Tristan’s left, they clasp their unused hands and cross the blades in front of them.

• Resurrección Appearance:

After their release phrase is uttered the boys now no longer hold hooked blades. Instead in the hands that once held swords are now fearsome claws of bone, their mouths littered with fangs, and their hair becoming flowing manes reaching well past their lower back. Their eyes become more feline and their ears sharpen and point upwards. Finally their legs and arms are stronger than before, their pants warping into bone armor, shirts removed showing toned chests. As for the bone it is the same color of their original form, white for Chris, black for Tristan.

• Resurrección Abilities:

Remendar Las Mitades (Mend the Halves): This is their coup de grace. The ability they were created to perform. While as separate beasts, the twins only fight with half the power and ability one of their normal power level could perform. This is important to note, for while together they could be a fearsome force to be reckoned with, apart they might only be a fraction of that strength. To compensate with this weakness they have the option to return to a single body, but only during their Resurrección. Chris and Tristan cease to be and what you are left with is Christian. A man with a feral, rage filled mind. Christian can no longer keep his emotions in check and when he his reformed he becomes a feral beast with a killing intent. Thus when the twins decided to fuse it is because they want you dead.

Estocada (Lunge): Usable in either form, twins or Christian, they can put all their power into their legs and use their speed to fly at you claws out. The idea is to tear flesh at high speeds and then flee. Usually a harassment technique or used to chase down fleeing opponents.

Rugido (Roar): As Christian, he can focus his immense spiritual pressure into a roar that could level buildings, cause a huge demoralization in an enemy, and effectively crush those of a smaller spirit pressure.

The sounds of a dying animal could be heard roaring across the sands of Hueco Mundo. It had started as a blood curdling howl and had continued for hours. As the noise gets louder as the source comes into view, a lone wolf can be seen in clear distress. It wasn't a normal wolf, nothing could be considered normal in these sands, it was a large beast of twin colors. Fur and skin darker than any sky in Hueco Mundo, was then completely offset by the vibrant white of its fangs, of its claws, of its cold and soulless eyes. Here was a mighty beast that had slain hundreds, possible thousands, in the pursuit of a conflicted dream. It was this ideal this conflicted quest of his that proceeded to tear him apart now.

In his mind a war waged between two individuals. On was cloaked in all white and another in the darkest of blacks. A wicked grin formed over the white ones mouth as he rushed forth and slammed the black one to the ground, his foot planted firmly on his chest. "You see, rage will win ever fight. It's what sustains us, gives us our power, it is what will fuel us till the day we die again. Yet you sit here and lecture me on what we should do? On the goals we should pursue? It's rich coming from you, it really is." The white on said, the rage behind his words straining to break free and throttle him to death.

Grabbing his foot and twisting it before flinging him skyward, the one in black rose calmly while the other clamors back to his feet. "Yet it is with this clear thought that I foresaw a way to remove you from my chest and my very on compassion that keeps me from killing you where you stand. Must we fight like this? It will only serve to kill us in the end. There is but one way to fix this, join me, let me restrain your control while you sustain my will." He said, his hand outstretched in a welcoming gesture.

"There is only one way to end this, for you to die and for me to assume utter control over this vessel. You really think I'd ever let you stop me, HA! You are simply outrageously naive to believe I want any part of you." The white one laughed as he resumed his attack. This would go on for hours, all the while the wolf screeched and howled as if in constant pain. This was no way to live, no way to think. Reaching his claws up he began to grip the edges of his mask. He started to tear, he would just force his mind into separate halves if they couldn't agree.

Back inside his head the two individuals seemed to have reached a stand still. One had his hand stuck deep within the others chest, fist gripping heart. The other locked in a similar fashion. Almost in sync the two yelled out to each other. "If we cannot be together, we shall forever remain apart." And tore each other's hearts out. At that exact moment the wolf had torn his mask of a face in two and an explosion occurred.

From the mists stood two individuals. One of hair so white the sands of Hueco Mundo looked brown. The other whose hair was so dark that there seemed to be more of an absence of color than a shade black itself. They had gotten what they asked for, two people of one mind in separate bodies. The perfect solution. Clearing the fragments of their mask from their face a single hole remained where an eye once was and the only pieces of their mask left were large claw marks stretching from brow to check across the very same hollow hole. A somber reminder of their shared body. But now, free from each other, they could choose to do as they pleased....
