Bakudo Number 3: Drag
Sat Aug 10, 2013 11:58 am
Custom Kidō
- Name: Drag
- Type: Bakudo
- Number: 3
- Effects: Using the standard bakudo hand sign and aiming at the intended target, the practitioner restrains the individual by six links of chain made up of yellow, crackling energy. The typical or defaulted designation for where the chains will looped around the target by are around the neck, waist, both wrists and both ankles. When outdoors, the Kidō can extend up to two city blocks away from the target, springing from buildings and the ground, however, it is not common for it to spring from higher stories than the first two stories. When in an enclosed space, this bakudo gets an area bonus by coming from up to six different sides of the, including walls, floor and ceiling, focusing its tensions in several different directions for an innate enhancement that would otherwise be difficult for lieutenants to break free from one done by a skilled initiate of the Kidō art. A very strong individual like a captain can break free from a skilled initiate's Drag, but it does not apply to all situation as the examples are based upon average individuals, thus it really depends on if the person is on-par, below or above average. Any beginner level Kidō user can use this, but to use it effectively will require the Kidō user to be an adept. Advanced users can maintain two of them at once, but due to focusing issues, if used at the same time, both Kidō will be at beginner level. Masters can ignore that issue while grand-masters can maintain four at once without issues. Despite its number, the main reason for the difficulty was the need of concentration when maintaining six separate entities coming at once.
- Incantation: "Shatter, you hound of Styx. Remember your sins for thou is too late to pay."

«EVERYTHING LOOKS GOOD»
Everything seems fine by me at the moment. After reading over the Kidō, I really have no issues with it. In light of that, I'll be giving it the clear it needs and placing it in accepted Kidō.
