The Karakura Defense And Information Thread
Karakura Central Itself: Karakura Central itself has been considered to be a sovereign territory of sorts. After the ruins of World War Three, mankind set out to find a place in which it could reestablish a safe haven from the massive amounts of destruction, carnage and death that occurred in that 50 year war. Therefore, with the last stand of sorts being held in the ruins of now Old Karakura Town following an immense slaughtering of countless enemy forces from demonic, hollow and Arrancar origins, and with the area prime with Spiritual Activity from The Oken, it was then determined this would be the new homeland of Japan.

Gathering resources from all of the different organizations attached it's center and hosting some of the world's strongest supernatural users, it was allowed rapid growth into what would later be known as Karakura Central; one of the world's safest cities in the Post-World War Three landscape. So, as of now, it's control is divided up by the Yuudeshi Family, higher-ups within the Yayjuu, Vanguard, Vizard Corps and diplomats from the Gotei 13 meant to maintain their share of control on the Earth. The essentially purpose these days in Karakura Central is to provide a home for people who possess a strong knack for supernatural powers, mold more people to change the tides of balance in the globe and revolutionize the world with it's amazing influence.

Though, this has also lead to shakey ties in the international community as well. With the sense of power changing in most governments swiftly and radically these days, some have envied Karkaura Central for it's otherworldly technologies, the capacity to mass produce supernatural users and it's resources. Therefore, it is also noted as one the world's most targeted locations. There are many types of spies, agents, assassins and enemy forces that attempt to enter into's gates everyday and the defenses put in place are meant to keep these occurrences to a bare minimum. And, even when a threat is able to enter, they should be swiftly terminated through all of the investments they have put into safeguarding this essential city.

Demographics & Geographics: When you combine Karakura City, Downtown Karakura City, Underground Karakura, Sukai Karakaura and the Imaginary District; altogether, Karakura Central is estimated that it is roughly two times larger than the size of New York City. It has distributed itself over a land area roughly six hundred miles wide. Each section houses roughly twenty percent of Karakura's massive population of 60,000,000 people across it's massive Metropolitan Area. Essentially making it one of the largest cities in the globe and often referred to as Humanity's Last Battalion of change and hope.

Easily making it a replacement for Japan's former capital city, Tokyo City, as It impacts a major amount of influences in the areas of finance, media, art, fashion, battle, research, technology, education, and entertainment. Though, more importantly, Karakaura Central focuses itself on the prime amount of supernatural citizens it produces. Of this staggering sixty million population, roughly 90-95% of it's citizens have some form of capacity or another to be able to detect spirits and other supernatural phenom. From that group of roughly fifty seven million people, around eighteen million people have been noted as having low level supernatural abilities.

Things such as fire production, levitation, flight and other similar powers. Then, of the eighteen million people in that peculiar segment of the population, around half of them have abilities strong enough to warrant them being in the world's militaries, police-forces and organizations to ensure the protection of Earth. And of those nine million people, roughly ten percent of them, or 900,000 are placed into advanced programs to otherwise blossom into the likes of beings that are on par with Vice Captains, Captains and eventually co-org leaders. Which means, beings such as Shadin Yuudeshi, are among the 0.0001% of this population and are highly sought after by the likes of researchers across the globe and assassins.

The Technology of Karakura Central

Technology: It is said that the technology within the walls of Karakura Central are roughly one hundred years ahead of most of the developed world; even by the standards put in place in the 25th century. Therefore, there are many valuables scattered across the city and many types of hitech based solutions against most of the cities problems. One of it's most infamous creations is the Yuudeshi Network. At any rate, Karakura Central is an essential hotspot for many types of different experiments, labrotties to set-up research and a breeding group for radical and new technologies to be birthed by many of the different factions and resources that the city possesses within it's depths.

Nanomachines: Devised by the Yuudeshi Network, there are a large number of miniscule machines spread all over Karakura Central that is meant to collect data from many different fights, special ability users and instabilities in the cities structure. By creating a special signal embedded into each machine's core, they are able to transmit quantum data across a vast sub-network of information in order to transfer this data to the Yuudeshi Network to decipher with it's immense processing capacities. These are one of the ways Karakura Central tends to keep a strong edge against intruders and other would-be foes who intend to cause trouble in the city. For if they suspect someone of this, they now have the capacity to easily track them with these scattered bots across the city and keep tabs on them for research purposes.

Though, this doesn't mean they are impossible to detect. It has been noted, with enough destructive power, they are able to be destroyed in the line of combat. In which case, the network must use what data it gathered prior to it's termination. On top of that, those who have abilities which otherwise prevent external influence from affecting them may not be phased much by this. Such as people have attributes inside of their body that burn away viruses, diseases and so forth. Lastly, if one has a shield placed around their body, then there simply isn't enough data to transfer back for most of these nanomachines.

Database Systems: Thanks to the Yuudeshi Network, and an allied sharing compromise formed by the likes of the Gotei 13, Vanguard, Sugiura Clan, Iramasha Clan, The Yuudeshi Clan and The Yayjuu; Karakura Central has a vast amount of intelligence stored across all of the varying organizations who are stationed inside of the city thanks to the Yuudeshi Network acting as a central networking hub. This maintains information on most types of active threats, criminals, organization personal, information on past and current missions and the overall safety of each general zone in Karakura at the moment. It also has a very large collection of authorized citizens, government officials and allies who are allowed within the city's limits. These also include a variety of races from other cities across the globe; such as if you had a human from Mexico City coming to travel here.

And, in order to be added to this list, one must submit and register information in regards to their international passports, their fingerprints, voiceprints, and retinal patterns. A sample of their spiritual energy will also be kept so they can easily identify beings more swiftly if an incident should occur within the cities walls. Furthermore, in order to leave the city, they must generally get an all clear from the Yuudeshi Network, Military Personnel or organization members.

So for instance, if one were trying to teleport out of the city, the Yuudeshi Network would intercept that request, analyze the contents of the spiritual energy being emitted to transport and then determine rather or not it should be approved. Should it be cleared, then they can simply warp out of the city as they pleased. If it isn't cleared, then their attempt to leave the city limits will be negated and an alert will be placed for other organizations, military or the police force to investigate matters.

The generally they'll be checked at the cities outer gates in order to be cleared to make sure they aren't smuggling anything out of the city and to prevent any criminals from escaping out of the various prisons across Karkaura Central as well. Similar instances can be found in all sorts of varying ways to exit Karakura; rather it's by space shuttle, plane, hovercraft and so forth. This enactment was put in place in order to formulate countermeasures against enemy forces attempting to invade the city, along with fake citizens trying to enter to cause trouble.

Even more than that, since there are so many students aspiring to become defenders of Earth, so many high-ranked organizations within one place and extremely advanced technology; to prevent spies, agents and other malicious forces from trying to steal, abduct or otherwise obtain citizens, equipment and other things attached to Karakura Central; most of these measures were put in place to severely limit the occurrence of that happening. Therefore, most attempts to otherwise sneak into the city as an unauthorized citizens are generally low; but have been noted to happen as The Yuudeshi Network's defenses are not absolute in it's nature from what it has recorded.

The Karakura Defense And Information Thread

Heavy Military Presence: This is only the more common measures of defense Karakura Central has put into action. Due to the fact that they have so many organizations in the hub of it's city, they essentially have masses of members from the likes of the Gotei 13, Vizard Corps, The Yayjuu, Vanguard and even The Yuudeshi Clan patrolling the streets to ensure that things are running as they should. So this should be one of the first things to consider before into the pits of Karakura Central. With four different organizations, and many different smaller factions, calling this place home; they are able to swiftly arrive on the scene of any incident occurring within the city in a quick amount of time and will ensure that most threats that wish to cause harm to the city are neutralized in a post-haste manner.

Additionally, it's also worth noting that even the Earthly military and police forces have stepped their gear up in this city as well. They have all been equipped with Anti-Supernatural weapons that are capable of disposing of any threat related to Iramashsa, Arrancar, Demon's and many various otherworldly creatures. While, if they are just dealing with a human, they also have a separate set of tools needed to arrest, detain or do battle against more home-grown threats. This is to avoid excessive violence against civilians and minimize the endangerment of Karkaura's innocents.

Regulated Teleportation Systems: One of the first measures of security within the depths of Karakura is the fact that through the Yuudeshi Network's massive processing power, they are able to scan the entirety of this metropolis zone to monitor all activity related to teleporation, gateways being opened and portals being torn apart. While it may not be accurate one hundred percent of the time, as the NETWORK itself has recorded entries of people who slipped passed, it generally should work a majority of the time. It's been pre-filtered to allow rip holes in the dimensional fabric of the city to allow transportation from allied realms such as the Iramasha Clan, Sugiura Royal Family, The Gotei 13, Vizard Corps, The Yayjuu and other similar groups.

Meanwhile, it's set-up to defend against unauthorized entries into the city from all other locations. If someone from an enemy location, for instance, were to try and sneak into the city by teleporation, they'd simply be redirected somewhere within Karakura Forest and miles away from the city; along with an alert notice being given to Karakura about the attackers attempt to get into the city. Furthermore, most activation of similar abilities can be overviewed within the center of Karkaura's defenses. Shared amongst organizations such as The Gotei 13, The Yayjuu, The Vizard Corps and The Vanguard; they are able to overview the information on The Yuudeshi Network in order to access a large map of different instances where many varying warps occurred within the overwhelming number of districts inside of Karakura Central.

This makes it easier to dispatch Officers or Organization personnel to these areas, investigate criminal activity from unauthorized entries and keep a strict log on just who is doing what in the city if they need to. This ultimately makes it unwise for most to use teleporation, gateways or portals inside of Karakura; unless they desire to be tracked through their highly advanced detection systems. It's even capable of intercepting the likes of a garganta before it even reaches Karakura Central.

The Barrier: This is essentially one of the strongest elements in making Karakura Central safe. Across it's six hundred mile perimeter, and within the depths of even Underground Karakura, there lies a massive shield enveloping this metropolis that is able to filter out enemy forces, illegal immigrants, Demon's, Arrancar's, hollow's and all other intruders through utilizing the Yuudeshi Network's immense systems to process, calculate, analyze and produce varying effects across the city to otherwise detour these foes from entering and make their lives within the city limits a living hell.

It begins by detecting the threat and then going on to produce adverse effects on the subject in question. So if an unwanted Arrancar had snuck into the city to cause trouble, if they were detected by the network, then it would ramp up the effects of the barrier in order to reduce the effectiveness of their powers, inflict mass amounts of pain upon their well being to make them wish they were dead and eventually even kill them if they stay in the city for too long and if the effects are heightened enough. These effects can also be said for most low level Arrancar, Criminals, Demon's and other low-lives that try to break into Karkaura Central.

As it's been noted that most of these weaker factions of creatures tend to die off a good majority of the time when they come into contact with the shield across Karkaura Central; while those who have more power tend to fair better against the shields effects due to research the Yuudeshi Network has analyzed. And, in light of a few incidents where stronger Arrancar and Demon's have gotten pass their defenses, it has advanced it's barriers to a plateau where they are able to pin-point the subject if they release their energy, attempt to scan their body and then produce a highly powered version of the barrier which envelops Karkaura Central in order to bring the target down and neutralize any further danger they might impose across the City's Citizens and structure.

The Karakura Central Alert System

Alert System: In order to better keep up with some of the varying threats within the core of Karkaura Central, an alphabetized alert system has been put in place. From the watchful eye of the Yuudeshi Network, once enough material of the incident is gathered, this data is then processed through their varying supercomputers to be deciphered and then translated into a threat level. These have been pre-set by the likes of Shadin Yuudeshi to automatically go off once a threat is detected as well.

  • Code D-1: This the weakest alert that can be given to a general area. These are generally given to run of the mill crooks, mild incidents and low level threats. Typically only police are sent out to investigate, an notice is sent out to all active personale within that district and that person's spiritual energy signature is logged within The Yuudeshi Network to be traced within the city. From that point onward, they are then deemed a criminal and will be generally hunted down until they are neutralized, detained or given the clearances of their crime. No further action is generally needed in a Code D-1 alert and many multiples of Code D-1's can occur across Karakura Central on a given day.

  • Code C-2: This is a more guarded alert across the different sectors of Karkaura Central. When a Code C-2 alert is issued, this is when the security across Karakura Central is amp'd up. During this threat level most citizens are watched carefully, there is an advised risk to all people currently within the city to stay vigilant and the effects of the barrier across Karakura Central is are amp'd to high an increased chance of repelling intruders from entering. Furthermore, military personnel have grounds to use more lethal firepower against any suspected targets. There may also be surprise checkpoints to weed out any suspects if they should try to flee the scene. All citizens are advised to be on guard because Code C-2 threats are generally armed and very dangerous.

  • Code B-3 After a Code B-3 alert is issued within Karakura Central, things tend to rather heated. It is in this thread where a credible threat has been detected within the city and appropriate measures must be taken place to ensure the safety of the citizens. Code B-3's are generally put in place when there are supernatural users who begin destroying city blocks, increasing their energy levels, making unauthorized usage of their powers in non-combative areas and putting the lives of the citizens at risk and are otherwise a menace to society. Hence, when this threat is issued across an area, uninvolved innocents nearby are advised to evacuate the area and seek shelter.

    Once this action is taken place, all personnel who are strong enough to otherwise subdue, capture or neutralize the target are given orders to immediately converge on the area to put the danger to rest. On top of that, if the threat is great enough, the entire district where the B-3 threat is located may be quarantined and shut down; entrapping the subject in a highly powered barrier, one twenty times stronger than the one enveloping Karakura Central due to it's small size, until the authorities are able to otherwise see this target is taken out.

  • Code A-4: This is the second highest possible level that Karakura Central can be placed under. When an A-4 alert is put into action, this means that a threat against Karakura's well-being is so strong that an entire district, such as Sukai Karakaura or Karakaura Central, is essentially put on lockdown. All traffic within, around and outside of the city is extremely limited to military personnel, organization officials and those who are allied with the forces within Karakura to assist in the neutralization of the threat. Citizens are also advised to stay indoors, move to evacuation centers and DO NOT approach the target. As A-4 threats are extremely lethal and require the presence of trained professionals to subdue the danger.

    In light of that, there will be a massive increase in military activity, a good source of the Yuudeshi Network's resources will be placed into ensuring the target does not escape and to essentially make their stay within Karakaura Central hell. Furthermore, all approved Org Personale have the authorization to use their authority in order to induce crowd control on unruly citizens; as this threat is also akin to Marshal Law when this alert is given to an area. On top of that, The Yuudeshi Network has been noted to shift entire structures within Karakaura Central to accommodate the suspect. An instance of this occurring would be if the subject at hand had a power to easily level large distance. In that example, Karakura Central has been designed to have it's structures break off into multiple pieces so that they can either take flight into the air, have large pieces of densely strong barriers engulf the buildings and streets or detach itself from the city altogether to evacuate to different places on Earth to avoid mass casualties occurring.

    And, on top of that, most organization personnel have permission to use their powers as they see fit in this circumstance; given the target is an extreme threat and must be stopped at call cost for the well being of Karakura. As Shadin Yuudeshi himself has been noted to use extremely long-range tactics when the city is placed under an A-4 alert to swiftly subdue the subject. On top of that, the barrier engulfing the city will be amp'd to it's strongest settings in order to bring the suspect(s) coming down to their knees. As many small-scale barriers will be put in place within the targets vicinity in order to attempt to subject them to the shields adverse effects; such as attempting to negate their powers, constrain them within that sphere and separate them from causing any further damage to the city than they already may have at this point.

    So, in short, once an A-4 alert is issued: Karakura Central as a whole will do everything in it's power to cripple or murder you.

  • Code S-5: The highest a terror alert level can do, a Code S-5 essentially means the city has been invaded, it's defenses have been heavily comprised and the enemy organization has began war within the city limits. This is the code that no citizen, or even organization officials, wish to heart announced. For once an S-5 Alert has been issued across Karakura Central, all resources will go towards terminating the threats that have broke through Karakura. All organization officials, military personnel, police forces and any supernatural being will be automatically drafted into war. This means that if you fall into either of those categories, one may be called upon to assist in this war time situation. Failure to comply will result in possible imprisonment, detainment or even death if one goes AWOL during this circumstance to keep loyalties strong.

    Additionally, all of Karakura Central will automatically go into lockdown mood as a distress signals to all available forces across Earth, and even within the Soul Society, will be set to give news that an immense threat has began war against the city. Large chunks of Karakura Central will be scattered across the globe and all faction leaders who are present in the city, along with their followers, will be asked to take part in this battle as well. In a Code S-5, even the likes of Shadin Yuudeshi has permits to use his Bankai, which is essentially illegal until an A-4 or S-5 alert is issued.

    During the duration of an S-5, the overall goal will be to drive the forces out of the city, annihilate as many enemy targets as they can and reclaim it before they can overthrow them. It will also be advised to wait for all additional assistance for allying organizations to arrive in the city to increase this chance of success. However, more importantly, some of the radical research within the city may take priority over citizens. This is because within the cities darkest depths lays many different secrets, individuals, tools, weaponry and technology that can easily change the tide in this long lasting war that has taken place on Earth since World War Three. Henceforth, to keep the enemy forces from advancing any further, these jewels will be protected at all cost during a Code S-5.

    Until a victor has been declared, a Code S-5 may last for many days, weeks and months until a winner of this war is declared. So, to make things more blunt: Once a Code S-5 is issued this is essentially the start of a 4th World War.
