Beginning of something new

The day seemed to be moving in slow motion. A quietness filled the area. People quickly came and left dealing and worrying about their own lives. A few trees and a couple of buildings seemed to be close by but the area gave the feeling of a cage. Yoma had spent most of the day trapped within this cage focused on the union of Shinigami and Zanpakutō. Both sides had an experiance that changed their route and improved their mind and body. Both sides shared the information they recieved and practiced the improvements given to them. Trees became the victims as their rooted body kept them in one location.

Yoma grabbed his Zanpakutō focused his own soul into it and let a small concetrate of energy flow through it. He swung vertally up then repeated it once more but this time swung vertically down. The swing had cut through deeper then any other cut before this day. Each swing had made it appear as his arm was one with his blade as if it was his arm itself that had cut through the trunk of the tree. Comparing the current strenght of the swing to one of the past. One could see the rise of control that was obtained. Yet it was not with out pain. Most of the day was spent striking at trees to finally reach the evolution of combined knowlegde and skill.

Yoma grew tired but he was excited at how he had finally made progress into something. He had fruits to show his sibblings. He wasn't going to allow himself to be the weight on them but yet the blade that supported them. He finally had something earned that he had been working for a lot time. He threw himself on the ground gripping his blade he looked up to the sky then look at his own blade the source of the power he held upto now.

"Thank you for your power and lending it to me. Let me keep working with you to reach even higher levels of strenght that is unobtainable to me alone. I will protect you as you keep protecting me. Lets hope where the power leads us brings us lots of fun and new allies."

"You know i never expected to really be working with this idiot but its because of our weakness and your power this is happening. I'm not sure if i should say thank you or just hate you for this but i am sure of one thing i will be taking advantage of your power for my own uses. What ever you say it doesn't matter to me if they are words meant to stop me."

He had been wondering for a while now, not really knowing where to go, so he just walked. Until his application for the 2nd squad went through he didn't have a place to stay, so he regretfully had to find one. And so he walked somewhat lost around Rukongai, looking at this place and that, not really knowing where to go.

He thought back to his application, hoping it would be approved because he didn't really know what other squad to apply for, none really sounded very interesting to him. He thought back to why he decided to apply for the 2nd squad: The ability to move silently, and maybe learn a bit of hand to hand combat, in case of a situation where he was faced with a fast enemy where he couldn't draw or wield his sword effectively, or indoors fighting where is blade could easily collide with terrain, impeding his movement, which could possible be fatal.

He eventually found himself in a clearing, and looking to his right saw someone laying on the ground. At first he thought to check if they were alright, but he saw that the boy's breathing was only a little sped up as if he was training, and then he saw a few trees cut down in the area.

Having confirmed the boy was alright he looked around the clearing, wondering which way to go next, he picked a random path, and after looking hesitantly around again, began wondering in that direction.

As Yoma laid on the ground he spotted a man going up to him. he didn't know why they did but they as quickly as they appeared is as quickly as they left. They never said a single word and held the same face yet walked away as if he had seen nothing. Yoma wonder what was going through the man's head. Yoma decided that he would follow him. Being quiet wasn't Yoma's best trait. He got up and quickly ran to the man to speak with him. Once he reached up to him. He thought about what squad this man was part of but he saw no clothing showing what squad he could be part of.

"Hey sneaky swordy who are you? My name is Yoma Yazaki. I'm part of squad 6 and the Yazaki family. Why did you randomly show up then walk away? If you wanted to you could have joined in my training or even have a sparing match with me. So what you say you wanna have some fun. come on say please please"

Yoma's words were filled with energy and excitement. Even if his body had been exhausted by his training he was happy to go up to others and drag them along into his own little messes. the more who join the better. Yoma desired the assistance of the one before him to push his strength even further. Training provides both sides to become stronger and to improve.

Yoma wondered about this man's strength and where he was. he seemed to also be holding paper in his hands that he quickly grabbed to take a look at before accidentally lighting them on fire. Yoma looked at the man with a apologetic smile before apologizing to the other man.

"Um sorry for that sneaky sword i'm not too good at controlling my flames really. So um what were those papers they seemed familiar."

As he began walking away he heard footsteps behind him approaching rapidly, and he turned around to see the man who was lying down just a second ago right next to him. He saw the boy scan his clothing before saying something or other about training with him, however he did make out that the boy was in squad six as well part of a Yazaki family, though he didn't know what that was.

The boys words went on in a hyper rant that he couldn't really pick up very well. And then the boy noticed the copy of his application in his hands and grabbed it... and then lit it on fire... He then apologized for not being able to control his flames very well. He thought "Not under control huh? Well no sh*t...". He then turned to face the boy and said

"You might wanna get that under a bit more control than, before you light other things on fire, like saay...a person?".

He smirked at the boys enthusiasm, and contemplated accepting his offer of training. Well he really didn't have anything else to do, seeing as he really didn't have anywhere in particular to go currently, so he decided to accept the boys offer.

"And why not, training might do me some good. I'll accept your offer, providing you don't light me on fire." he said with a smirk.

Yoma Smiled that the other man accepted his offer for spar. Yoma moved back to allow some distance between him and the other man. He held his Zanpakutō within his left hand. The blade's position was directly in front of Yoma. The blade made it look like their was two sides of him to see. He focused on blade and kept an eye on the one before him. He would wait til they draw their blade before performing his action. His plan was basically simple. Throw a rock with a charge inside of it and have it explode to create a cloud of smoke and with that yoma will move forward to attack.

This was his calculated plan but this may end up changing if something with his opponent was different. Yoma created 2 mines on the bottom of his feet to propel him forward. This was his defense against what his opponent may be hiding. He had no idea what his power was or what he could do nor did he know what his maximum strength was but this was expected to be a fun encounter. Already his body was sweating and aching from the training he did before. so his opponent would be having the advantage here.

"You better be careful or i might really burn you. I have been working on my skills for a while now so i have been improving compared to before. As you can see im quite exhausted but im not going to lose to someone like you. So prepare to eat the dirt."

Yoma started emitting bits of his flames but it seemed to be acting different from usual as smoke was coming from it. The smoke didn't seem to do much nor was is clouding up anything but it was strange his power seemed to also be evolving as well as he was.

Zazyre watched as his opponent backed away smiling, readying his Zanpakutō. He hesitated a bit when he heard the boys remark about maybe getting burned. He did not want to get burned, and he started to think that he might regret this later, but later was later and now was now, he'd just have to see how this turned out.

He wondered if his opponent was strong or not as he reached slightly behind his left side to push the button to release his Zanpakutō. He heard the familiar faint click, and pulled his Zanpakutō out of the left side of his sheathe, twirling it once over his head and then bringing it to his right side. He crouched a little, moving his left foot forward a little and his right foot back, positioning his sword close to his chest pointing at his opponent, and moving his left arm ahead of himself in case he needed to counter quickly.

He knew his blade was longer than his opponents, that meant he had more range, but also that his opponent could probably move faster, so his strategy should probably be to use his opponents speed against him, so he tensed his feet, preparing to move at short notice should his opponent lunge.

He saw the small flames coming out of his opponent, and thought that this might get real tense fast.

“Hey you, what are you doing all the way out here? You’re… Yoma Yazaki, right?”

The voice was coming from atop the trees where a somewhat strange being was. Fluttering on red, bat like wings, the girl had vibrantly bred hair. Under the hair you could just barely see a pair of horns sticking out of the spiky mess. Shiny red scales could be seen on the backs of her hands, today was too hot to keep her sleeves down in an attempt to hide them, and one could see that they covered almost all of her arm, just a small triangle on the inside of her arms, from her hands till about halfway up her forearm, was all that was not covered in these scales. A large reptilian tail, also covered in these scales swished slowly in the air behind her, almost as if it was twitching back and forth irritably. She was wearing a shihaksho, the outfit of a shinigami, though this one had a red dragon emblem embroidered on the left chest area.

Fluttering down near the two of them, she took a quick glance at Yoma’s training partner. She knew Yoma as he was a fellow member of squad six, however she had not met this man before. Watching him with sharp eyes, she traced where he was looking, a constant habit of hers.

“Hi there, I’m Tessa Morrowend, member of squad six. Now, Yoma…”

She turned towards him, looking very irritated.

“I’ve been looking all over for you. I had heard a rumor you were having difficulty controlling a flame based power, and I thought that, as I don’t want the squad barracks burnt down one day, perhaps I should help you out. Took me forever to find you though… oh, are you two about to spar? Mind if I join in?”

She drew her zanpaktou from its sheath, her lips perking slightly in to a smile. She knew she needed training as well, and if things got out of hand she could deal with Yoma’s flames. She was the dragon girl of squad six after all, flames were her speciality.

Yoma noticed that the other person's blade was quite long it appeared to be longer then his own sword but a longer sword didn't mean an instant win on his side. He decided to change his plan due to this and see how close he could get in before his opponent could react. He readied himself and shifted the energy to dash forward. Pushing himself forward then setting off a mine to push him forward as well to move at a faster speed. once he reached in range he would slash his opponent yet still having way to avoid his blade in case his opponent attacked him while he was performing his downward slash. His body was still producing small amounts of smoke due to his own flames.

What came next was a surprise as a voice came from the trees. It didn't sound familiar but they seemed to know him. They asked what were they doing all the way out here. the source of the voice came out of the trees to reveal a a women wearing slightly modified clothing. She also appeared to look strange but Yoma really didn't care. She gave out the information that she was also part of squad 6 and knew that yoma was part of it. She had a look that made her look irritated but it didn't seem to concern yoma.

She talked about how she was concerned over his his usage of flames as he could possibly burn down the barracks one day because of he lack of control over his flames.

"Come on is it really something to worry about? Im not going to burn it down. And the captain would likely put it out quickly anyways. So its no big deal. i would like more control and i am working towards it. so don't worry about it miss um.....what ever your name is. Don't worry imma find a nickname for you."

it also appeared that she would be joining in this spar. this gave yoma something else to worry about as he had to targets to focus on. Yet the day seemed to be full with surprises as his other half even pop up to inform him that he wanted part in the fight. It they both were aware that they had learned a lot through events they both experience so both of them would want to use them. As a result both half would try to work together just this once to show off some skills.

"Looks like their is more fun to be had here so i think its best i join in too i got some skills i want to show off even if it means to work with a detestable idiot this once its all good so who is willing to be my first victim."

He watched as his opponent zoomed towards him and delivered a downward slash. He stepped sideways, dodging his strike, and was about to counterattack when he heard a girls voice. Locating it he looked at the tree she was in, and was somewhat surprised to see her arms covered in scales.

He heard her say she came to help Yoma with his flames. "Ha..He might need the help." He said with a smirk, thinking back to his burnt copy of his application. He then heard that she also wanted to spar, and watched as she too drew her Zanpakutō.

"Aaah great... This is getting kinda crowded..." he thought to himself. He didn't know how well he would do in a three way spar, having never thought about what to do nor how to move were such a thing to happen, and with his long blade, he might not be able to keep up that well.

He looked at Yoma, then at the girl, and thought it might be dangerous should two users of fire were to spar in a place with trees dotting the terrain. "Wouldn't it be wise if we moved somewhere with saaay...less vegetation?" With this said he gestured to the trees around them, and then to the smoke coming off of Yoma's body.

Sighing, Tessa addressed Yoma’s statement about how she shouldn’t worry about him burning down the barracks.

“I do have a reason to worry, if the barracks catch on fire, how does someone know whether you or I did it? Also, the squad already gave me the nickname dragon girl, I don’t really want another.”

Smiling as she saw the man was worried about the vegetation, she responded.

“No need, it’ll be fine. Now, shall I kick things off?”

With that, she opened her mouth, a spurt of broiling flames rolling from it, like a dragon breathing fire on a town. Except here, her fire breath wasn’t aimed at a town, but the space between her two opponents. Smiling viciously, she concentrated, causing the flames to separate in to two equal parts and fling themselves at each opponent’s current location. After having attempted to blast them with flames, she looked around, trying to see what had become of them. Once she found the location of Yoma, she would begin to chant.

“Combine with the Darkness and Lightning, Shocking them with it, Dark Shock. Hadō 29 – Dākushokku!”

Her palm facing Yoma’s position, a dark orb surrounded by electricity would fire towards him, attempting to paralyze him as well as suck away his spiritual energy. Finding his other opponent, Tessa pushed over charging towards him and trying to make a downward slice across his body. After that, she would use a shunpo to return to her starting position.

“Well, let’s see what else you guys got in you. Or are you two that much weaker than me. Here I thought I was going to get a good work out… guess the yazaki flames might be nothing compared to a dragon’s flames.”
