Little Dragons Revenge[Tina]

There was something about the day that just made Jin smile. Was it the sun in the sky? Maybe it was the way the wind had blown against his cheeks? Perhaps it was the way his investigations had gone? Or, maybe, just maybe, it was none of the above. In fact, that's exactly what it was. Jin was in a good mood, but for an entirely different reason. Yes, Jin was grinning wildly and he was sure that he heard some of his division members speaking to themselves, scared of what He was going to do to them. Well, they weren't going to be his target for the day. No, there was another group of individuals that he felt could bring him a bit more of a challenge. Jin had let his squad know that he had unlocked a new power, but there wasn't much more discussed about it than that. Jin really wanted to test it out, but didn't want his own squad seeing just what he had to do to unleash it's power.
So, instead of scarring them for life, Jin decided to revisit the sixth division. The last time he had gone there Jin had fought one of their members, Tessa. She was a bit strange, but that was only an issue because she was remarkably close to a dragon from human mythology. Able to breathe fire, fly with wings, and scaly all over. No, this time he wanted someone else to fight; he knew that there were others in that division, stronger people, more experience people. He was going to bring them out; one way or another. And with that Jin shunpoed out of his divisions opened gates. In a matter of seconds Jin landed at the sixth division gate, his hands exiting his pockets while falling to his sides. He was going to march in there and...well, why ruin the surprise?
Jin shunpoed one last time standing in front of the training are once more, his eyes scanning the area before his voice echoed outward. "Your king has returned everyone! Let's not have everyone rejoice at once." He spoke, mockingly. The members that were out all backed away, their eyes meeting with the silver haired dog. Jin's lips curled upward into another grin before speaking once more. "Now I know last time I fought against little Tessa, the baby dragon, but this time, please....send someone who's actually a challenge." His words weren't serious, and he tried to display this by winking softly at everyone. Anyone could tell that these people detested Jin. They wanted him gone, but he didn't plan on going anywhere.
"I just want a quick spar. You guys should feel honored; I've chosen your division to be my personal training grounds. So come on, someone step up to the plate." He was sure that that last sentence was going to be enough to force someone, anyone, to step up and bite the bullet and who knows, maybe this time around they'll make Jin bleed rather than him making himself bleed.

Jessy yawned as she lay on the roof of the barracks for the sixth division. It was a nice sunny day, her blonde hair fluttering softly in the slight breeze. Hearing a commotion from the training ground, which her position overlooked, she sat up, placing a hand on the hilt of the sword on her left side. Looking down, she recognized the man from when she had watched him and dragon girl Tessa fight. That nickname suited Tessa well, and while she might have seemed fairly week in that fight, Jessy had seen something beyond what others probably had. However, she then heard the man mocking Tessa for the fight back then, and she decided not to let this go on any longer. Drawing her blade, she slashed it across the air as he opened his mouth again. A cone shaped blast of pressurized air erupted from in front of her, aimed directly at the man. The ground would crack slightly as the brute force of the air hit it. Glaring at Jin, she would leap down from the roof, drawing her other sword as she walked towards him. A palpable feeling of rage and disgust filled the air around her, the other members backing away from her in fear. They would notice, from their experience with her, that her eyes were not moving, stuck on Jin, a sign to back the hell away from her. “You should be grateful that Tessa stopped the fight when she did, or you would have ended up as a blood stain on the floor. Did you fail to notice how sometimes her movements and techniques become far superior to how they normally are? As for me, I’m going to do what that idiot was too afraid to do, I hope you have a gravestone picked out. Slash out, Incisorius Tigre!" With that her twin swords started to glow softly, becoming twin gauntlets. On the back of these gauntlets are metal protective plate. On each gauntlet, three claw like blades are attached to these protective plates, extending eight inches from her fist. With that she lowered herself on to all fours, glaring at Jin. For a second she remained still, and then she pushed off with a shunpo. The resulting movement was twice as fast as a normal shunpo, and with her already increased speed from her shikai pushing things to even faster speeds. Reappearing behind him and slightly to the left, she planted one leg, letting her momentum bring her one eighty degrees with her fists going out, attempting to stab him at the very base of the spine with all six claws. At the same time, two white furred tails sprouted from the ground, winding around his legs to entangle him for the next fifteen seconds. A normal shunpo allowed her to gain some room between her and her opponent as she watched his reaction to her abilities. She wasn’t the strongest in the squad by far, heck she wasn’t even a seated officer. However, this was her home and these people were her family. She would defend them until she died, otherwise how could she ever face those three again? |

Now this was interesting, no one was stepping up to the plate. Jin frowned for a moment, and it seemed like this division would get it's way with Jin leaving. As he turned his body to walk away, he heard the faint whooshing of wind coming from behind him. The sound was peculiar, as it sounded like it was coming in, and fast. As he turned to see what the sound was he watched as the stone plate under him cracked, and his head was pushed back from the pressure. His hair started flapping violently, and when the wind settled, laid in a very messy, contorted fashion. Jin blew out some air from his lips, blowing a piece of hair that fell in his mouth outward.
Then, as he started brushing his hair down, trying to get it settled back into it's normal, messy placement he heard someone. opening his eyes, he saw the girl who must have sent the attack his way. He arched a brow, and grinned widely. This girl, she was a feisty one. Jin grabbed the hilt of his sword, slowly pulling it from it's protective casing as he watched the girl cuss him out, and promptly follow up with the release of her sword. This was becoming very interesting, and had taken one hell of a turn. Most would say it escalated rather quickly. No, this time it wasn't the same, there was something different. This girl was fucking fast. Jin felt like he had only a moment to spare, hardly able to trace her movements to his back. Jin turned, flipping his hilt so the blade was facing downward. He collided his blade with her left arm, only getting the chance to block that one before her gauntlet fell deep into his side. Jin winced, closing his eyes and letting out a very fake groan.
Waiting for a moment, he opened his eyes, grinned and then spoke. "Just....kidding..." Jin had some very impressive pain tolerance, so much so that these small incisions in his side were barely noticeable. However, Jin was once more caught off guard, as the girls attack had a very strange after effect. "The fuck is....oh god they're cat tails! Disgusting..." Then it hit the seventh division member like a ton of bricks. This girl, the stance, the pose. She was a damn CAT. Jin sighed and then laughed. How fitting that a "cat" would get so up in arms at the dog standing in front of her. He wiped his eyes and then pointed his hands downward. "Bakudo 21 - Sekienton" And like a ninja's smoke bomb, Jin was covered in a cloud of smoke. Then, waving his hand, Jin had cast another, slightly more advanced Kidō. "Millon Escudo" Jin knew with that last attack that he would need some added protection and this spell would provide it. Then, taking his blade he swiped down at the tails only for them to disappear just as quickly as they had appeared.
"I gotta say, you caught me off guard with that last attack, but let me just tell you something. You're in for a rude wake up call if you think I'll be THAT easy to take out." As the smoke cleared Jin flashed his canines, holding his blade forward and uttering five words. "Death be with you, Zetsumei" The blade flashed a crimson hue, turning into an all black sword, lengthening largely, and shining nicely against the bright sun. Jin swung his blade, activating one attack that he hadn't used against Tessa the dragon girl. "Ketsueki Odori" Under him a red glyph appeared and as little wires rose and pierced his foot Jin couldn't help but continue to grin. This girl was already shaping up to be more of a fight, and Jin couldn't love that any more. But he couldn't risk standing still for too long. Jin produced one red beam that left his blade. At first glance it would seem this attack would only go in a striaght line, heading right for the cat girl, but so long as Jin kept eye contact with her, the beam would follow. The fight had just begun, and Jin wasn't going to let it end any time soon.
OOC: Will pm a staffer, probably Raiki and Kyle, the location of the shield.

Jessy glared at the man as he was engulfed in a covering of smoke. “Hey, don’t you dare compare Incisorius Tigre to that household pet. Tiger, not cat you idiot, get it right.” She smirked as the man started to talk again, seeming to say things were going to get more interesting, and then used a technique she didn’t remember him using against Tessa. “Well, seems like you really want to taste spring’s claws. This should be interesting.” Raising her left gauntlet, she watched as the red beam shot from Jin’s sword towards her. A quick flash step took her off to the side by a few feet as she brought the gauntlet down. A highly focused arc of high pressure air flew towards him as Jessy used another flash step to avoid the pursuing red beam. Jessy’s attack wouldn’t be easy to block, as it was made of pure air, thus making blades useless against it. However, it wasn’t that strong against flesh, and at most would leave the man with a shallow cut where it connected with his body, if it did. As she watched the beam follow her, she lowered herself on to all fours again, using that same technique she had used before, flash stepping towards him at twice the speed of a normal flash step. If the man was smart enough and could see her movements somewhat, he would probably notice that she moved in a straight line, never changing directions once as she zipped past him. She once again planted her foot as she came out of the flash step, her momentum spinning her around. However, this time she straightened up as she did, grabbing his sword arm at the wrist while her other arm flashed around, claws around the front of his neck as she attempted to forcibly subdue him. “Give it up kiddo, before I end up torching you. It would ruin your nice hair, but I’m sure Tessa would think it perfect for you. I for one am not sure if I can forgive you for the insults you spewed earlier here.” This whole time she had kept an eye on the red beam that had been coming after her before, watching where it went. Her eyes had a serious look in them, and she could feel it, spring was near its end. |

This fight was shaping into a real nail biter already. The two of them seemed fairly even, but Jin hadn't broken eye contact with the girl but the game of cout and mouse had already ended before it started. Sure it made Jin frown, and sure it made his technique seem like a real waste, but He didn't give away all of it's secrets at least. He still had a lot more up his sleeve. Jin chuckled at her comment; she was obviously annoyed that he had called her a "Cat" and not specifically a tiger, but Jin knew he could get under her skin now. She had already shown symptoms of easily being angered, prone to outburst and hoo boy was he good at making being burst out. "Cat, Tiger, they're the same damn thing. Just larger amounts of ugly covered with fur." With a wild grin spreading across his face, Jin noticed her use a technique eerily similar to what had crashed into the ground in front of him at the start of this little contest. His few saving graces was how similar it had sounded, and the fact that she had brought her gauntlet down toward him. He wasn't sure just how large the spread of this technique was, nor how fast it was able to travel, so he had to move fast. He rose his arm toward the girl and called out a Kidō from his arsenal. "Bakudo 7 - Gyokuseki o Hogo"
Jin created a large shield that would extend five foot wide and long, able to efficiently block most of the wind, while the rest simply wrapped the corners of the shield, lightly brushing his hair away. Oh screw it, I'll just leave my hair a mess. Jin quickly shunpoed a few feet back, waiting for the girl to make her next move, and she had. There that technique was again, she had stepped down on all fours, and in a flash she had vanished; He was prepared this time though. He knew what to expect with this technique, and there she was. With a B line headed right at him, Jin watched her attempt to grapple his sword arm; she really didn't know him that well. Jin allowed her to grab his sword wrist, but he didn't wait for what followed. Quickly turning his wrist, with his blade pointing toward the ground, he took a single step forward with his right foot, and lunged his arm forward. This would force her hand down his forearm. Jin followed up by pulling his arm away, and swinging his blade up to knock away her second arm, knocking it away and trying to cut open her arm.
His feet had already been disabled by the two tails, but that was fine as the time was running out and...he was free. Jin was going to go on the offensive now, shunpoing forward Jin would raise his blade, and as he was coming down, a second shunpo would follow, making him appear behind the girl, as he finished the slash toward her back. This attack however, was going to be nothing but a small, shallow cut on her back. He'd finish this exchange with one last shunpo to reappear in front of her and a couple more words. "I'm glad you're so concerned with my hair. Maybe when this is over you can help make sure that they didn't get too torched." He winked at the girls, grinning wildly. Trying to keep her distracted in the event that his attacks landed, and from what would follow afterward.
OOC: Should both/either attacks land, the blood hounds will appear from behind, to the side of her.

Jessy watched as he broke free from her grip, turning her gauntlet so that his strike would hit the protected back of her gauntlets. As he came towards her, she smiled. As his second shunpo brought him behind her in an attempt to strike at her back, her weapon changed. The gauntlets evaporated, changing in to a long spear, seven feet from the tip of the spear blade to the very end of the shaft. The spear head itself had a length of about half a foot, and is shaped like a tooth. The other end of the spear had a white tuft of fur attached to it. Taking it in both hands, she brought it to her side, then pushed it back, slamming the shaft end in to the man’s stomach as he attempted to bring his blade down on her back. Having pushed the man back, she slammed the spear’s head in to the ground and opened her mouth. “Burning Embers of the summer fire.” Four burning log appeared around her, flames having completely enveloped the black pieces of wood. Six inches in diameter, they stood still for a second before shooting towards Jin. They would tail the man so long as they were still whole, and should they make contact with a solid object, they would explode in a fiery blast. Having done that, she got in to her stance, legs spread with her spear at the ready. “Heat mirage of the tiger.” After a moment, the man would realize what was happening. Her body seemed to shift slightly to the left, now there seemed to be two of them. About an inch of difference in their positions, there was now two spears aimed at him, both appearing to be the real thing. One could see the heat in the area around her, creating a mirage of sorts. Smiling, she waited a moment before she pushed forward, thrusting her spear towards his stomach. This was followed by a rapid fire of multiple thrusts for a moment. The mirage had disappeared after the first strike though, her duplicate gone. Flash stepping away, she smiled as she watched the embers chase down this man. |

Jin watched the girl, and how she reacted to his most recent attack, and for a moment it looked like Jin was going to get her good, but then something happened to her gauntlets. They had disappeared, and for a moment Jin assumed she had given up but that idea was quickly replaced with an instinctual reaction. A spear appeared in her hands, and without letting her react to him, Jin shunpoed away, dodging her spears blunt end attempting to knock him away. His brow arched as she turned to face him. Just what was she doing, and what happened to her Zanpakutō? Did it...change? Would there be more changes like that coming in the future? Jin didn't know, but she was going to give him a nice piece of information into her Zanpakutō.
"Summer fire? Hm...." that alone wouldn't tell Jin anything significant, but he would keep it in the back of his mind, as everything had it's place, and it's time. Jin watched as the four logs headed his way, and with a quick swipe of his blade, he knocked the first log away, or did he? In an instant the log exploded, covering his arm and side in a fiery smoke. He quickly shifted his position and shunpoed away. "Holy god...are you a cat from hell? What the hell was that?" Jin's side was slightly burnt from the fire, and his shinigami uniform was singed slightly. That was devilish, but now he knew what they did. He had to think quickly, quickly...they were coming in toward him, then his eyes shifted toward where he stood he first arrived...yes!
He shunpoed once more, leaving the distance between him and her, and the logs even greater. Jin reached down grabbing three pieces of rock from where she had broken the stone tablets. This was going to give him the proper defense to those hell logs. He moved quickly, tossing all three rocks and the three different logs, causing them all to explode in a fiery show of flame and smoke. Jin grinned and turned toward the girl, his canines once more baring their way toward her. Then, like some sort of trick out of a fun house, there were two of her. Jin rubbed his eyes, and sure enough, there they were. Two of her, but there was one that was different...it was off center from her ever so slightly. But which one was which? Jin had no idea, but he needed to figure out quick or something bad was going to happen. He watched as the girl closed in, her spear headed for his stomach, while the other also headed for his stomach. He needed to decide which to block, and then, without any more thought to it, he had decided.
He was going to block the off center one. He grabbed his blade in such a way so the blade faced downward, facing the stone tablets, and as he brought the blade upward, his sword phased right through the spear....Shit....or was it shit? A wild grin spread across his face as a hexagonal shield appeared over his stomach blocking her spear attacks. Switching the placement of his blade he brought his sword quickly across her chest, using the time that her spear used up hitting the shield to strike her way. Then, whether his attack landed on not, Jin would shunpo away, roughly thirty feet from the girl. "You've disrespected me, I don't deserve to live in this world anymore." The words flowed through his lips with a sad tone to them, and with his blade now facing himself, he had whispered one more word, under his breath... "Bankai..."
Bringing the blade inward, Jin had stabbed himself, through the shield, through his gut and then out the back. He didn't spit up blood, and he didn't move, but as the blood splattered out of his back and fell to the floor, he could hear the murmurs within the division. Did he just..? No, no way he just killed himself. Once more a grin came across his face as he head lifted toward the girl... "Just kidding!" If one wasn't used to death, or fighting for that matter, this sight would cause them unease. Slowly the man pulled the blade from his gut, it changing as it did. The blade was becoming rigid with four hooks coming down the blade as it turned purple, and covered in his blood. Then, the blood behind him started to gurgle, and in an instant a giant tree from behind him sprouted from the ground. The tree took up the entire training area with branches, leaving only about twenty feet uncovered by branch. Jin's hand that is holding his blade is covered in blood, all of it dripping into the ground, and then being soaked up instantly.
Jin stood tall, his wound to his gut gone, and the tree fully bloomed with twenty or so fruit bared on it. If the attack on her previously landed, then it wouldn't stop bleeding at this point because of the colorless miasma that was spewing from the tree. This miasma can't be seen, but it's affects are well there. Jin looked round, and then up, grinning while speaking. "So that's what it does...hmmm...well anyway, say hello to the All knowing tree of death."
OOC: I can have Kyle, Raiki, or both forward you the pm I sent them with the location of the shield. Also, because of the shield being there, Jin didn't need any time to block her actual attacks, giving him all the time in the world to bring his sword across her chest.

Jessy smiled as she noticed the man was going for the illusionary spear. Her eyes were still focused on the man's chest, something that was extremely unusual. Her spear head hit against a hexagonal shield like spell, blocked from piercing his chest, and her eyes widened in shock. Her focus broke, and no longer were her eyes focused only on him. Back to the normal way her eyes were, they zoomed all over the place, and she caught a glimpse of his raised sword, towering over her. Quickly, she pushed up her spear, trying to block the strike with the wooden shaft of her weapon. His sword came down hard and fast, slamming in to her spear with so much force it was a miracle the wood didn't splinter on impact. Having leaned back so that her shoulder didn't get caught by the blow, she was thrown to the ground by the force of his swing. Scrambling away from him as she tried to get up, she ran her hand over the shaft, noting the dent he had made in the wood, having cut through about one fourth of the wood. Had she been in her normal stance, it was likely he would have cut right through the spear, and kept going with little resistance. Then he started talking, and when he said the word bankai, her eyes showed slight alarm, though that changed to confusion when he stabbed himself. Then when he started speaking again, she realized this was just a ritual to release his bankai. The tree growing behind him certainly seemed weird to her, but then again, she hadn’t ever seen someone release their bankai. Shifting her footing, Jessy used a flash step to back away from him and the tree. Then, she quickly slammed her spear head in to the ground. Four more burning logs popped up from the ground, shooting off towards Jin as she raised her spear and slammed it in to the ground again. Another set of four burning logs burst forth, and she did this once more to make another set of four once more. These new ones flew towards the tree, attempting to set it alight. However, she wasn’t sure this strategy was going to work, she needed to figure out something else. Sighing, she knew she wasn’t very good at Kidō, but this time she would have to use one. “Bakudo 21, Sekienton.” A blast of smoke surrounded her, blocking the man from being able to see her. Hidden within the smoke, her spear head started to heat up; causing the same illusion the man had seen before to appear. However, since she had created the illusion while within the smoke, it would be harder to figure out which one was the real one. A quick flash step brought her in front of Jin, her spear head thrusting out towards his head, and then she pulled it back, pivoting to bring the other end of the shaft in to his side with as much force as she could muster. For now she had to hold on, and a quick flash step took her away from the man. |

Jin was feeling a mix of emotion at the moment. He was impressed that she had blocked his attack, proud that he has done so much damage to her shikai, but then he was also a bit irked that she hadn't been cut open by his attack and avoided his dog ability. She may have felt the fight or flight instinct, the fear of death come over her, but that feeling isn't going to go away any time soon. Jin was starting to get an idea of how his bankai worked, what he had to do, and what his opponents had to go through if he would ever succeed in using this bankai to it's furthermost potential.
Jin watched as the girl fled away, he arched a brow at her, and then smirked. So she was going to use those logs again? He shrugged and knew how to deal with them. Swinging his blade a glyph appeared under him, draining him of his blood and this time instead of one beam escaping from his blade, six shot forward. Jin smirked as he did this once more. These beams sought out one log each, and as all twelve beams collided with all twelve logs, the following explosion was enough to cover the entire area in cloud and smoke. Jin could feel her reiatsu though, and she was up to something as she created her own smoke cloud. The dust and cloud was starting to settle as the girl appeared in front of him.
Jin, she doesn't have her speed boost, nor her boost in hoho. jin knew this, but he would listen to his friend, Zetsumei. Jin shunpoed backwards avoiding all of her attacks. He then watched as she shunpoed back, and the distance between the two of them grew even greater. Jin, I'll help this time...and this time only. Jump into the foliage, and eat the fruit...then use one of them and cover it in your blade. Jin arched a brow, and then nodded. He leaped up and into the tree, grabbing two of the twenty fruit. He looked at it and gagged as his nose crunched up. Biting into the fruit Jin could feel a surge of pressure in his body. He was getting his blood back and the wounds around his body were...healing? Well that was helpful. Now, time to use it on his sword. Jin tossed the fruit in the air, and cut the fruit open.
"Wait a minute..is that blood?!" He almost gagged again, now realizing that he had just eaten a blood fruit. It was almost fitting, but something else was happening to his sword now. Bits of it were turning into links...was it...a whip now? Yes, it's a whip you fool. Use it well... Zetsumei's voice faded, probably going to do dead dog things, like burying flesh or something. Taking in a deep breath, Jin spoke once more. "Bakudo 26 - Kyokko" Taking this time Jin shunpoed to the girls side, still covered in his bakudo, and he shot his whip like blade toward the girl. Each blade separating and heading for her arms and back. As the technique ended, Jin reappeared with a wide grin spreading across his face.
Ooc: The attack isn't fatal. If they connect, they'll connect with her skin slightly to cut her slightly.

As Jin jumped backwards towards the tree, Jessy’s spear started to glow. Disappearing, it reformed in to twin axes. Not caring about the man, she slammed her ax down towards the ground as he pushed towards her. A crack appeared in the ground beneath her, spreading out to create a huge earthquake, the land beneath the tree disappearing. It was still held up by the strong roots below it, but Jessy smiled. Then, his weapon wrapped around her hands and middle, cutting in to her. However, she continued to smile and opened her mouth. “Time for the tree of death to wilt. Rising earth!” Behind Jin, at the tree’s base, something was happening. On either side of the earthquake, large spikes of earth started to rise from the earth, piling up under each other, pushing the tree in to the air. One after the other, the spikes piled on top of each other, pushing the tree in to the air. It wasn't a neat pile, the spikes growing out of each other, and every so often a spike would grow sideways in order to make a platform for the next spike. As it did, the roots would be strained, some of them starting to rip slightly as it was raised. Within seconds, the tree had been pushed two hundred feet in to the air, its roots either torn or barely hanging together. The spikes then collapsed, crumbling to dirt that fell in to the crevice below, only to have it close up afterwards. Why was this happening? Well, because Jessy no longer had the energy to maintain her shikai, and it had now returned to her sealed form. Now Jessy watched, seeing what would happen now. Mostly likely the tree, with no support under it, would topple over, slamming in to the ground as the remaining weakened roots tore off. However, this had been very exhausting on Jessy, her strength nearly reaching its limits, as shown by her shikai reverting to her sealed state. Her knees collapsed, sending her to the ground.
