Posting on the mobile version?
Tue Jan 29, 2013 11:05 pm
I was just wondering, is it possible to post threads on the mobile version of the site? The ONLY source of internet I have right now is my cellphone(which is an Android), and I am on the Classic version right now. If it is, how do I do it? Because if you can't, it might cause complications with my posting speed.

Hmm, let's see here...
I'm not sure how the site is suppose to be viewed in the android version of it, but I know I've made a few post in the past with my ipod. All I had to do was scroll down to the bottom, locate an option which allowed me to switch it to how I would view the site on my desktop computer and it allowed me to post from the site that way. Do you mind sending me a snapshot of how it looks on your android? Also, I'll be replying to your PM soon and I gushed a bit from it. =P

I can try, I have had this phone for quite a bit and, compared to most people, know almost nothing about it. I'll update as soon as I can, right now I'm searching for if it's possible.(From what I've seen, this phone has little to nothing compared to ALOT of Android phones.

No, I can't, but I can give a decent-ish description of what it looks for.
At the top, it says "Bleach Platinum Hearts". It basically lists all of the forums on the front page, and when you click on one, it even has the sections divided regularly(for example, under "Creation Center" it lists the pinned stuff and things like that just as it is on the Desktop version. The distinct thing I noticed is mostly everything is in SOME shade of blue. And, if you click on a forum(really, if your on anything that's not the homepage), it shows a "Back" button to the left of the tite, and I DID notice there's a wierd looking icon, like something that resembles the icon for "Bookmark", but either it does nothing, or my crappy screen just doesn't know I pressed on it and just registers me pressing the back button for some reason. Anyways, that's about it. There's no CB or Xat or anything. But on the very bottom of every page is a medium sized link that is in a black box with white lettering that says "Classic version". Oh, one more distinct thing is, like on every mobile version site I've seen so far, it fits it to exactly be the width of the position of the screen (the one upside is I have auto rotate on my screen, and it makes it much easier to type when the screen is wide)c but you still have to scroll down.
I'm sorry, that's the best I can do.

i used the mobile version from time to time i know what your talking about. click classic version and use that. once your on the classic version you will be able to post if your signed in. its kinda annoying to post from mobile (for me it is) but it do it for a while you will be able to get used to it. from the clasic version you can see the chatbox. for me i can also see the xat because i have andriod and i can click on the xat to load it up but i cant type in it. i hope this helps alittle i didnt give much info. the site looks like the desktop version if you use classic mode.

«ARCHIVING THIS STUFF HERE»
Seeing how I believe we settled things in PM, and I haven't heard anything else about this issue, we'll consider this case resolved until the OP decides to post. Therefore, I'll be moving it to Old Cases.
