is this too strong?

Im working on my char's shikai, and the idea i'd like to run with is pressure/gravity. like pressure applied to air or water, creating abilities like concentrated dense blasts of air and the like, just curious on what along these lines would be too much abuse or how i could make it work

On this site, we're pretty allowing of abilities so long as they have enough detail about them, some drawbacks/limits and you'll be fine. I recommend that you read our power guide in order to get a better feel for our power system here, as that will definitely assist you in trying to make some new attributes for your characters.
Furthermore, this sounds like the sort of thing that may not even need a drawback. If this character is shooting blast of gravity/pressure towards the opponent, it's possible that it could be similar to a bala/cero. Where, in that, I mean that it generally just costs the user energy to summon this force in order to attack his/her target(s) when it comes to battle.
At any rate, here is the guide you'll need that I think will benefit ya' greatly in your quest to make these powers for your guy/gal: https://www.platinumhearts.net/t8206-thefrost-s-power-guide-feel-free-to-ask-questions-as-well

«ARCHIVING THIS STUFF HERE»
Ho'kay, since this is a fairly old question, and seeing how I handled it quite some time ago, I'm going to go ahead and put this in the resolved cases board.
