Greetings
Sun Jan 13, 2013 8:37 am
The sun was rather bright as it created a 12ft shadow of a young looking individual that strolled through the squad 9 Barracks. It was his first day on the job, the court yard was filled with mutters as he marched out of his office and glanced at the individuals in the vicinity. Zeda was rather exited to see everyone; now that he was captain he had some responsibilities that made the job rather enticing! He smiled as he began casually walking to the center, his hands were stuffed in his pockets and his Haori lay on his shoulders. With every step, his eyes glanced to one side to look at the squad members that waited eagerly for an introduction; Zeda seemed rather lean and well built, his attire was of course similar to the regular shinigami attire alongside the Haori but without a doubt there was something different as he didn’t have a Zanpakutō but wore a necklace that looked rather masculine and eye catching.
As he approached the center of the long path way he rotated his body and smiled at all of the squad members; who was the vice-captain out of the individuals remained unknown but either way Zeda began to address the squad members as he spoke out, “Hi” he smiled as he carried on, “Am Zeda Yuudeshi, the new Squad 9 Captain – Nice to meet you guys, but which one of you is my vice-captain?” his voice seemed rather cool and relaxed at time it was known to arouse women but either way he remained focused and professional throughout out this period of time; as the last two words escaped his mouth he scanned across the first row of the people in the hopes of finding the lieutenants badge that was supposed to be worn by one of the individuals.
Meanwhile, he waited patiently for the vice-captain to step forward, it would be interesting to see who would be the person that served by his side throughout his stay in squad 9 which made him rather eager to greet the individual.

Terith, 9th Division Lieutenant
Unbeknownst to the new captain, Terith was reputed to be elsewhere than expected. However, unlike the previous times that the division has to look for her (last time they found her, she was stuck in a tree by her foot,) the division are well aware that Terith has...overslept. As if a joke for the new captain, the division members did not tell and look among each other as if looking for the vice-captain. Feeling devious about their prank, the entire division steps forward in synchronization with each other. Now they wait for his reaction to finding out his entire division is made up of lieutenants.
Meanwhile in the barrack, Terith is in her personal bedroom and office, sleeping deeply. Unfortunately, her dreams are consisting of enigmatic nightmares where she sees herself falling alongside a Shinigami into the darkness before a bright glowing hand reaches out and snatches her from the Shinigami. Despite her muted cries and vain attempt to catch the Shinigami, she always end up watching the Shinigami disappear into the void of darkness. Abruptly at the time when the division members played their prank of stepping forward as a group, Terith sits up quickly and shouts, "MASTA!" before the next thing Zeda would hear is a rather cute, "KYA!" followed by a thump from the vice-captain's office. At that moment, Terith clumsily slipped her grip on the bed and tumbled out of her bed, landing face first onto the wooden flooring.

Zeda watched the individuals as they all stepped forwards like synchronized seals, it was rather funny but then again it confused Zeda in some manners which lead to a blank facial expression to rise upon his face. He considered were all of these people his vice-captains? Impossible! With the blank facial expression his eyes fixated and switched from one man to another, he wasn’t annoyed he simply found it weird how they all stepped forward at once; his brown spiky hair flicked back and forth as his eyes skimmed across the squad members as a loud shout echoed from the vice-captain chambers, "MASTA!" , the voice seemed feminine and sounded somewhat distress full. Zedas eyes moved across the sockets in order to glance at the location prior to looking back at the members as he turned and set off towards the direction of the vice-captain chambers!
As he took a step forward he heard a thud followed by "KYA!" which prompted Zedas pace as he swiftly approached the designated area; it seemed that as he walked chuckles grew throughout the squad members some of whom followed the newly appointed captain towards the vice-captains chambers. As the distance between the room and Zeda decreased, he finally approached the wooden tatami dooring as he spoke out “Hmm, Knock, Knock – Am coming in” with that being said he slid the tatami door to one side and took a single step into the room as he glanced at the women that laid face first on the tatami flooring; the individuals behind Zeda leaned over his shoulder and around his body in order to take a look at the vice-captain whilst one of them shouted the news back to rest of the flock which resembled a group of meerkats but either way Zeda held a laugh in as he stepped back whilst drawing all of the members out with him in order allow the girl time to get ready. As he took a step back he twisted his head to one side and looked at the squad members which was when he spoke out, “I guess she’s the vice-captain?” His eyes pinned straight onto the individual to his right as he spoke with a relaxed tone almost an instant later he faced forward and tilted his head to one side as he awaited the girl’s entrance or exit in her sense!

While Terith is recollecting her thoughts with her face flat on the floor and bearing the headache comparable to being whacked in the head by a piece of wood. Wait, she is whacked in the face by a piece of wood, or maybe she was the one who whacked the piece of wood with her face? Terith slithers out of bed and turns out to be in her white yakata while she rolls onto her back. On her fair skin was a red mark that spans all over on her forehead while a trickle of blood coming out of her delicate nose. There are some thumping of footsteps as she can hear someone knocking at the door. "Hmm, Knock, Knock -- Am coming in." Sayth the voice behind the door. The voice was rather masculine and fine as Terith can feel her heart beating faster all of the sudden and makes her bleeding nose be more consistent with the letting. "A-A-Ah! Just a moment!" Terith shouts towards the voice as she scrambles to deal with the bleeding.
Outside the room, the squad members followed the new captain because they all know Terith well enough that the screaming was because of her nightmare. To them, they have the weakest of the lieutenants, but also the strangest as out of all of the specialized zanjutsu practitioners, Terith was the only one who can speak to another shinigami's Zanpakutō and understood it. That made her special to the division and they would raise quite a noise if they learned something happened to Terith. "I guess she's the vice-captain?" Zeda asks as an unseated member nods cooperatively, "Hai, she is. Sorry, but she is not stronger than the unseated members. She was appointed by Hitsugaya-Taichou straight out of the Shino Academy. I don't know why though, but we have grown used to her enough that losing her would be hard on us, Yuudeshi-Taichou."
As the member was explaining to Zeda, the door slides ajar as Terith's medium-length, golden hair was first to shine with the hallway light that is penetrating into the room's shadow. Following the appearance of her hair was her ice-blue eyes that shines unusually as if her eyes are made of raw reishi (spiritual particles) for some reason. Upon gazing the member that was answering, she says in a soft, shy tone, "Ohaio?" The member bows to Terith and replies, "Ohaio, sorry to tell you, but we have a new captain." Terith's eyes widen with surprise as she opens the sliding door, but the door hops and stops. Terith grunts and groans as she struggles to get the door open when it was jammed due to the wear and tear of it. "Step back, Bran-chan." The member speaks calmly while struggling to stifle his humor. Immediately two other members approach the door and starts realigning the door by closing it and as one uses a carving tool to scrape the socket to allow more motion. "Seriously, where's Ikkaku when you need him? He's better at this since Yachiru-chan told us about how the wheels are installed by him back when she was a little girl." One of them complains as he tests the door. "All fixed. We'll have to go back to the Eleventh's barrack to see about having Ikkaku find us a new door." The other speaks to Terith. "Arigatto." Terith speaks as she opens the door and sees Zeda straight into his eyes while Terith was in her shinigami uniform with a skirt instead of the trouser and the badge was made as the buckle for her belt. "Uh. Terith. Your head is red."
Terith looks at the members with a blank look and touches her forehead which is still red. She can feel the warmth and the sting as she blushes a bit. When she finally looks at Zeda, she can tell from his haori that he is her new captain. With her ice-blue, starry eyes, she was locked to his eyes and then...turns completely red from the tip of her chin to the top of her forehead. She quickly steps back and slams the door shut in front of her and in front of Zeda. If Zeda can catch onto the feelings of women in their situations like this, they would be downright embarrassed. However, Terith's lack of knowledge about emotions made it into an abstract feeling. She turns around and leans with her back onto the door as she tries to control herself.

As Zeda awaited the entrance of the vice-captain one of the unseated members of the squad promptly answered his question by saying, "Hai, she is. Sorry, but she is not stronger than the unseated members. She was appointed by Hitsugaya-Taichou straight out of the Shino Academy. I don't know why though, but we have grown used to her enough that losing her would be hard on us, Yuudeshi-Taichou." Even from a distance the spiritual pressure difference between the individual that stood at Zedas side and the vice-captains seemed to have a gap, even though she wasn’t strong it didn’t really bother Zeda as strength or spiritual pressure wasn’t one of the things that Zeda considered as a quality of a good vice-captain; but the fact that everyone’s got used to her means that she would be good to have around in Zedas view!
As the vice-captain attempted to emerge from her room the door remained jammed which prevented her entrance but either way two individuals quickly approached in order to support the door and fix it back into place which allowed it to fit back into the correct slot and allow the door to slide to one side successfully! As the girl became visible it was clear that she had yellow or gold like hair that but what accompanied the hair was the crystal blue eyes that reflected the intense rays of the sun but as she made her appearance she spoke out, "Ohaio?" which showed that she had a rather cool personality; the instant she made an appearance a squad member to the right of Zeda bowed as he replied to her, "Ohaio, sorry to tell you, but we have a new captain." . Zeda didn’t see what the bad thing was about having a new captain but he supposed that the squad members were used to their old captain so a change really made a difference!
Suddenly the sound in the area drowned out as Zeda glanced at the vice-captain; the individuals that fixed the door mentioned something regarding Ikkaku as they began heading off, to which the vice-captain thanked for the door repair! As she thanked them some of the squad members began to mention that she her face was red which was rather noticeable even to Zeda. As she finally looked at Zeda with her crystal blue eyes he smiled and began to speak, “Hey am Zeda! The new captain, nice to meet you!” his speech seemed rather relaxed and friendly but as he spoke, the area from the girls chin leading to her forehead completely turned red at which point she turned around and slammed the door shut behind herself. It was likely that she was embarrassed by meeting Zeda but the moment he noticed he turned to the squad members and requested them to get in line as he added “The vice-captain will join us soon” as he spoke out the individuals began to walk and line up with the others at which point Zeda leaned towards the door and whispered through the door “Don’t worry I don’t bite” he spoke in a humorous manner which would hopefully relax the vice-captain and would hopefully allow her to join Zeda confidently.
