Hanako Shikijou Junior Super Powered 5-5 |
Hanako watches the first draw and notices that Renji is too rash on the first draw, which gave Urahara the field advantage of keeping his sharp calmness that allows him to counter the shikai and bypass the offense wall into the blind zone. Once in the blind zone, Urahara has a life in his hand where he can choose to incapacitate or to slay the opponent; just like any other assassin would face when sneaking up from behind. As for Renji, he should have backed up on cue to the first shift of Urahara's right foot when he launches the hoho technique. Hoho is about reaching a specified distance within a step and Urahara was right handed, so his strong foot will be his right foot. Renji is also right handed, so his best foot that is forward is in the wrong place, so he has little to dodge it backwards or towards his right. From how it worked, Urahara started with his left foot forward figuratively while Renji started also with his left foot forward so he can have power applying to the complicated equation of martial mathematics. When swung, Renji shifts forward and switch front foot to the right foot. Urahara shifts back to his right foot forward as he parries that shikai in between the first and second prods, which locks the shikai where it cannot extend and retract further than a foot. When given the chance, Urahara uses the hoho technique with his right foot and enters the blind zone, leaving Renji into an awkward position that will cost him his life. Urahara proceeds with two Kidō spells; a Hadō to weaken Renji's spirit and a bakudou to bind him. There is hardly a chance that Renji would have that would leave him unharmed unless he would risk doing a difficult counter-clockwise pivot around Urahara around Urahara's left side and use a hoho technique to get some distance from Urahara. However, that will leave his back exposed, so if thinking like brash pineapple, he would think that will be out of a question to do anything that will leave his back exposed. It is a basic struggle between skill and power as focuses. As the moral goes, one can be young and athletic, it is the skilled individual who can outwit them and use their strength against them. Hanako's eyes shift back and forth--to and fro--as she analyzes the situation as the rubies of her pupils are noticeably sharp like an assassin. Urahara may know of Hanako's combat experiences, but Hanako may not be sure if Renji does. If not, Renji would notice that Hanako would look like she can kill him if she choose to. "Up the ante, Urahara-san. We're dealing with humans, so Zanpakutō will not be needed. Use hakudou instead. I heard your Hakudou will be on par with Shiouin-san's because of the training times between you two when you two are younger." Hanako reasons with Urahara, giving off that Hanako is very perceptive and can denounce any complexities of his muscles on whim. Not only she can pick up that Urahara's hakudou is stronger than his sealed Zanpakutō, she can piece things together with little evidences. Hanako was considered a master of hand-to-hand combat, so if she fights Renji, it would be no surprise that Renji hits the floor instead. Why she sits on the sideline instead of testing Renji for herself? Was it because Urahara's insistence to demonstrate Renji's potential himself or he was aware that Hanako will be less merciful than he would be because Renji and Hanako are not known friends like he is to Urahara? Perhaps Hanako wishes to not test him by herself and study between both Urahara and Renji instead. "It is part of the Soul Society's laws that never will a Shinigami kill a human unless forced into a one way road that involves killing that human. Thus why Hakudou is a requirement for any shinigami to know." Hanako points out for Urahara and Renji to realize. A political battle requires logic, knowledge of laws and charisma while for outsiders, not to commit murder of any caliber. When threats are made and no one was held hostage for seconds before execution, the best course of action is to ensure that the client is out of danger first and the opposing party will not get killed. If blood should shed, there will be a heat on the culprits. For a fighter like Renji, it will be the most difficult battle he will face if he does not know how to pull his attacks and incapacitate instead of decapitate while knowing when to cut the defeat and do what it takes to get the client out and safe as well as himself for dying is never an option or he will be useless in the future. "Political warfare is not something you can swing a sword, but to swing a deal without bloodshed. Death is not an option for either side and once dead, they are not hailed as heroes, they are hailed as fools." Hanako explains so Renji can understand why he would be forced to use Hakudo and to understand why killing is bad for that mission, "It is a war without killing and a war without a straight answer." Dodged? No...Blocked? Yes, And before he could make a direct reaction his attention was turned to in front of him. While it was true Zabimaru was primarily a mid to long range Zanpakutō, It could be used in close quarters when needed, And now was such a time. Managing to just barely block the first strike and sending him backwards some he heard the Kidō 'Without the number?' Was his first thought, Using Shunpo to avoid both the Soren Sokatsui and the Rikujokoro the next words were probably the words that Urahara wanted to hear at the start "Bankai"
As the words were spoken, The Red Reiatsu that trademarked Renji Abarai flared around him, Zabimaru into a massive version of its Shikai form resembling a skeleton of a snake. Zabimaru transformed and gained many more segments, which are much larger resembling a mix between a snake’s vertebral column and the pick-like protrusions of his Shikai segments, and it also gains a snake-like head about the size of a small car. Renji is also slightly transformed, gaining a fur cowl around his neck. The cowl appears to be the fur of an ape and thus, the ape's skull could be seen over Renji's left shoulder while the rest of the fur extends to cover his right arm. "No more holding back" He announced.
Shortly after lifting the tail end that he was holding and flinging it forward, Causing Zabimaru to surge forward with it's trademark hissing roar. Zabimaru didn't 'Cut' its opponents as much as smashed into them. Though it's teeth could prove very deadly, Only fools got caught in them. And if Renji knew anything about Urahara, It was that he was NOT a fool. Add too it, Despite Zabimaru lunging forward, There was still a great deal of segments left swirling around Renji, Ready to leap up and defend him at a moments notice. An impenetrable defense? No, Hard to crack even for Urahara? Yes.
